Ash and his friends are walking in an area called Grampa Canyon when they see a large group of people walking with picks and shovels. Gary appears and explains that he and the group are here for the Fossil Rush, because of a great discovery. Ash decides to join so that he can embarrass Gary by finding a Fossil before he does. Jigglypuff also appears, ready to sing, but the group leaves without noticing it.
Ash and his friends soon find a large area of the canyon where many people, including Gary, are digging. However, they also stumble across Team Rocket, who accidentally reveals their plan to blow up the canyon and steal all of the Fossils. Misty and Brock run off to alert everyone to the danger, while Ash agrees to handle Team Rocket.
As Meowth lights the fuse, Ash runs up to Team Rocket and sends out Nidoran in an attempt to put the flame out. Nidoran, Sylveon, and Ash chase the fuse, trying to put it out, but Nidoran's Sand attack keeps missing the flame while Team Rocket try to stop him. Team Rocket then falls and starts rolling, resulting in a ball of people and Pokémon rolling into Ash, landing right beside the dynamite. As the fuse draws near to the dynamite, Sylveon panics and uses Sparkling star [Swift plus Disarming voice, causing the dynamite to detonate. The blast opens up a giant fissure in the ground, which disturbed rocks soon fill. Ash, Sylveon, Team Rocket, and their Pokémon are now trapped in an underground cave, with only Nidoran escaping from the rubble. Hearing the explosion, Misty and Brock run over and start digging out rock and soil with Nidoran.

Sylveon who was clutching Ash tight with her feelers suddenly perked up and her eyes started glowing pink, Ash and Team Rocket got a pink aura around them and slowly landed on the ground
''What in the hell gave you the bright idea of blowing up a fucking canyon'' Ash shouted
And they started arguing in loud voices
''Eon...sylve...sylveon'' Sylveon uttered in a scared tone
Suddenly they got surrounded by 15 to 16 Kabutops and Kabuto on one side and Omynite and Omystar on the other
All of them were slight just for one second and the other they were chasing Ash and Team Rocket
While running, Ash noticed a egg, he quickly picked up the egg and care fully stored it in the safety of his bag
Suddenly all the fossil pokemon got scared and ran away
From behind them from the darkness came a reptilian, bipedal prehistoricPokémonthat resembles apterosaurwith several draconic features. It has small sharply pointed ears, narrow dark green eyes, a ridged snout, a gaping mouth, and a strong lower jaw full of serrated fangs. Its body is covered in light blue-gray skin and it has large, violet membranous wings. The clawed hands at the end of each wing allow it to grasp objects. There is a hump-like ridge with a spike on its back, and it has a strong tail with an arrow-shaped tip. Its talon-like feet have two toes in front and one in the back, and are capable of scooping up and tightly clutching its prey in flight.
''Ohh Fuck! it's a Aerodactyl'' Ash exclaimed in his panic instade of Arcanine's pokeball he accedently picked Ivysaur's pokeball
''Arcanine Fl- Ivysaur what are-'' he was cut off as the fossil not so fossil pokemon, grabbed Ash and started flying in the direction of the rocks blocking the entrence, in his panic Ivysaur latched on to Aerodactyl tail with his vines and slowly climbed up the not so fossil pokemon's back.
Aerodactyl distroyed the rock blocking the entrence and flu through the sky again
Seeing his master and teammate in danger, he lounched several poison stings at the flying pokemon to no effect
Seeing that his attack was having no effect, in his desperation Nidoran evolved into Nidorino and used Sludge bomb, but still was not able to hit it.
Nidorino is a blue, quadrupedal mammalian Pokémon. It has several darker blue patches across its body. It has large, spiny ears with teal insides, narrow black eyes, and a long snout with two pointed teeth protruding from the upper jaw. Nidorino has a ridge of toxic spines on its back and a long pointed horn on its forehead. The horn is harder than a diamond and capable of secreting poison on impact. The more adrenaline Nidorino has in its body, the more potent the poison is. Its short legs have three claws on each foot. Nidorino is a male-only species.
Ivysaur seeing the failed attempt of his teammate, got a determent look in his eye and started strangling the flying pokemon, but the ancient pokemon's skin was as hard as rock.
Ivysaur can't use any powder moves cause Ash can get caught in the powder.
Aerodactyl landed on a small mountain, and was about to bite of Ash's head off, seeing that a bright light came from Ivysaur, and evolved into Venusaur.
Venusaur is a squat, quadrupedal amphibian Pokémon with bumpy, blue-green skin. It has small, circular red eyes and a short, blunt snout. Its mouth is wide with two pointed teeth in the upper jaw and four in the lower jaw. On top of its head are small, pointed ears with reddish pink insides. It has three clawed toes on each foot. The bud on its back has bloomed into a large pink, white-spotted flower. The flower is supported by a thick, brown trunk surrounded by green fronds. A female Venusaur has a seed in the center of its flower.
Fun fact Venusaur's weight is about 100kg, Aerodactyl not being able to handle such weight fell forward, Ash took this opportunity, and ran a short way from Aerodactyl.
"Venusaur now use Power whip to strangle it but don't kill it." Ash said and, primed a Pokeball.
Hearing that and seeing that, that her prey got away the Aerodactyl began trashing, but Venusaur didn't gave her much time to do that and quickly, a larger that normal vine, that was glowing green and started choking her even harder.
Aerodactyl didn't made it easy ether, after three and a half minute of struggling, finnally the ancient pokemon gave up and fell unconscious.
"Go pokeball" Ash flinged a pokemon at the unconscious pokemon, even unconscious the not so fossil pokemon didn't gave up until thi end, finnally at the third shake the pokeball dinged and got teleported to Oak's ranch
"Venusaur we did it" Ash cheered and hugged the Grass, Poison type
"Saur" Venusaur growled in happiness
"I'm sorry though" Ash said while looking down
"Venu?" Venusaur asked in confusion
"I know you didn't wanted to evolve, and you have to evolve because of me" Ash said still looking down
A vine came from Venusaur's body and made Ash to make a eye contact with him
"Venusaur saur ven venu" Venusaur growled out
"You want to that what happened, happened and i shouldn't blame myself about it?" Ash said and Venusaur nodded eye smiling
"Don't you think we are forgetting something?" Ash asked just then a very worried and irritated Sylveon came near them, Nidorino, Brock and Misty following her
Sylveon started fussing over Ash and Venusaur like she is their mother
"Ash are you alright?" Misty asked worried
"I'm alright, and this little guy as well." Ash exclaimed, and pulled out the egg and it was alright, as well
"Ash can yo-" Brock was about to say but was cut off by Ash.
"I got Lucario when i was nine as a egg, i know how to take care off a baby pokemon and egg." Ash said a little offended.
"Ok ok" Brock backed off
And the journey continues
On the area where everyone one was mining the Jigglypuff from before started singing and everyone fell asleep the Jigglypuff got angry at that and started making drawing on all of them
