Here's chapter 15 everybody.
Chapter 15: Evacuate.
Up in the air, Welcome Cab and its escorts have finally reached the alien ship, just feet from the fin-like structure where they believe there is an opening or door close by.
"Bringing it in to hover." Welcome Cab said.
"Welcome Cab, Charlie One. Approaching alien ship." Charlie One said.
"Initiating communications sequence, Charlie One." Welcome Cab said.
The pilot then flips a switch and the lights on the panels on the sides of the helicopter begin flashing.
"Welcome Cab has commenced." Welcome Cab said.
The lights started flashing in different patterns, providing mathematical formulas, including the value of pi, the first ten prime numbers, and Albert Einstein's E=mc2.
Meanwhile, back at Bright Hill, while officials were watching the live coverage from the helicopters, President Wilford barged in.
"General Shepherd, coordinate with Defense Command. Tell them to evacuate as many people out of the cities as they can." Wilford ordered.
"Yes, sir." Shepherd replied.
"And someone contact Redmill Air Force Base to evacuate the entire base. Tell them to get all Osean pilots, including the LRSSG, as well as all foriegn air force pilots in the air. LRSSG and other Osean pilots going on an escort mission. No engagement on the aliens. Foreign pilots can follow if they want." Wilford ordered.
"Yes, sir." Edwards said.
"Get those helicopters away from the ship. Call them back immediately." Wilford ordered.
"What the hell's going on?" Hurley asked with concern.
"We're leaving." Wilford said.
Meanwhile, back at the helicopters, Welcome Cab noticed something on the alien ship.
"Uh, there's something happening here." Welcome Cab said.
At that moment, a part of the alien ship, some door, starts to open, revealing a bright bluest-greenest light. At Bright Hill, the officials are seeing the same thing.
"They're responding." an Bright Hill official said, getting the presidents' attention.
"Something is opening." Welcome Cab said from the TV.
"Something is happening." a female OBC reporter reported.
At Redmill, all pilots present as they all see that the aliens are going to respond.
"Something is happening at the alien ship." a Belkan pilot said..
"Here we go." IUN pilot said.
"Let's hope it's a peaceful response." a Osean pilot said.
"Let's see." a Emmerian pilot said.
Everyone, including Trigger, Mobius 1 and Talisman sees the coverage of the door opening and the light brightening the helicopter camera.
Meanwhile, the helicopters hold their position as the door at the ship finally stops.
"It looks like there's some kind of activity here. This may be some type of response, Charlie One." Welcome Cab said.
"We see it, too. Can't identify it." Charlie One said.
The helicopter pilots try to see if they can see anything from the ship. Suddenly, a green pulse laser beam came from the ship and hit Welcome Cab, destroying the helicopter.
"Abort! Abort! Abort! God! Can you son of a-!" Charlie One said before two more pulse laser beams appeared and shot down Charlie One and another helicopter in the process, killing the helicopter squadron and becoming the first victims of an alien attack.
Back at the base, the pilots are stunned.
"What the heck happened?!" Count asked.
"Did those aliens just...attack?" Húxiān asked.
"Whoa…" Lanza muttered.
"Unbelievable!" Seymour said.
"Gone. Disintegrated! They never had a chance!" Windhover said.
"Got our answer, those aliens are hostile!" Mobius 1 said.
"Now, what do they want with Earth?" Talisman asked.
Before anyone could answer, the base commander came barging in the mess hall.
"Attention! I just got an order from the president. We are ordered to evacuate the base and city now! All pilots, get in the air immediately! All Osean pilots are to takeoff and rendezvous with Air Force One! All foreign pilots can follow if you wish!" the base commander said.
"Are we cleared to engage the visitors?" Mobius 1 asked.
"No engagement! Just focus on getting out of here!" the base commander replied.
"How much time do we have?" Trigger asked.
"28 minutes!" the base commander replied.
"Oh jeez! Come on, everyone! Let's get out of here!" Trigger said.
"You don't have to tell me twice, I'm outta here!" Count said.
"Same here!" Sky Kid said.
With that, all the pilots ran out to head for their planes.
Meanwhile, at Bright Hill, Wilford, Edwards, Shepherd, Hurley, Jennifer, Jakob, Henry and other officials were evacuating as helicopters were waiting for them.
"We are evacuating. I repeat. We are evacuating Bright Hill." Shepherd
"Load the rest of the staff in the second helicopter." Edwards ordered.
With that, Wilford, Edwards, Shepherd, Hurley, Jennifer, Jakob, Henry and a few officials boarded a Sikorsky S-61L.
"Is my wife in the air?" Wilford asked.
"She will be shortly." Shepherd replied.
Henry and Jakob took their seats.
"Nice. Very nice." Jakob said, impressed with the interior of the helicopter.
Outside, other staff matched to latch up the helicopter door.
"OKay. Buckle up. Latch secure." a official said.
Back inside, Jakob noticed a telephone beside him.
"Look, we have our own phone." Jakob said as Henry checks the countdown clock and sees that there is almost 9 minutes left. Afterwards, the helicopter takes off and heads for Oured International Airport.
In St. Hewlett, Mrs. Wilford was in her room watching the news on the situation regarding the aliens being hostile and the president's orders to evacuate. She was preparing to evacuate herself when an official approached her.
"The president's ordered an evacuation. We have to leave now." a secret service agent said.
Mrs. Wilford checked a last minute look at the news.
"And our prayers go out to the wives and children of those brave pilots. Indeed, God help us all." an OBC news anchor said.
"The visitors responded with terrifying unmistakeable eloquence." OBC anchor Mark Richard said.
With that, Mrs. Wilford and her secret service agents left the hotel room.
Meanwhile, back at the base, the Aces, their wingmen and foreign pilots are strapping in into their aircraft, with the latter deciding to join with the Osean pilots. Trigger strap in his F-22 before contacting AWACS Long Caster, who was already in the air.
"Long Caster, can you hear me? Give me orders." Trigger said.
"Strider 1, already got orders for you and all other pilots. Take off and prepare to rendezvous with Air Force One. The president is already on his way to the airport. I'll provide you and all other pilots who are willing to join the coordinates to the rendezvous point. I'm sure you and all other pilots were already told, do not engage the hostile visitors. I have also been provided with intel, you all got 9 minutes to get off the ground." AWACCS Long Caster ordered.
"Roger that." Trigger said.
"Hope we can get out in 9 minutes." Mobius 1 said.
Back in St. Hewlett, Laila, Daruis and Otist were on the highway in their car trying to get out of town as quickly as possible. She was listening to the radio.
"Authorities have called for a complete evacuation of St. Hewlett. People are advised to avoid the highways wherever possible." the radio DJ said.
"Oh yeah. Great. Now he tells me." Laila said with annoyance.
Meanwhile, at downtown St. Hewlett, helicopter pilots of the St. Hewlett Police Department were trying to get the crazed UFO fans on the rooftops of the skyscrapers to leave and evacuate the area.
"This is the St. Hewlett Police Department. Please vacate the premises immediately for your own safety." one of the police helicopter pilots said through the PA.
However, the people on the rooftops ignore the police's request and continue to cheer at the alien ships. Among them is Brittney, who has broken Laliar's promise and now was holding her sign.
In Bana City, the situation is the same as the citizens are trying to evacuate. Marvin has left his workplace and is trying to head west, but can't move due to heavy traffic.
"Can we move it along?" Marvinn said as he honked his car horn.
"Doctor Spaiss' office." a woman on the phone said.
"Hello. Let me speak to Dr. Spaiss please." Marvin said.
"I'm sorry. He's not available." the woman on the phone said.
"Listen, for three hundred zollars an hour, you can put me through to his house in the east bank!" Marvin said.
Back in St, Hewlett, Mrs. Wilford has arrived at her helicopter when she notices police helicopters are trying to get people on rooftops to evacuate.
"This is the St. Hewlett Police Department. Please vacate the premises immediately for your own safety." the police helicopter pilots said through the PA but the people ignored.
Mrs. Wilford watched for a few seconds until her secret service agent told her that she needed to get in the helicopter. Afterwards, her helicopter left. Meanwhile, the police helicopters are still desperately trying to get the people to leave.
"You must leave now." a police helicopter pilot said.
However, the people continue to cheer. Unfortunately, the police helicopters have no choice but to evacuate as well, for they have to save themselves. Seconds later, the door panels that are underneath in the middle of the alien ships began to open, revealing a bright bluest-greenest light.
"Look! They're opening up!" Brittney said with excitement.
The people stop cheering as the ship's doors open more. Besides the bright light, there was a gray circle in the middle.
"It's so pretty." Brittney said.
On the ground below, people watch the alien ship open the doors, which surround the tallest skyscraper.
In Bana City, the same occurrence is happening as the alien ship doors are opening over the city's largest skyscraper, and the citizens are watching. They also noticed the small circle between the opening itself, revealing some device or some sort.
In Bright Hill, it's the same situation, but the Bright Hill staff are still trying to evacuate and get in the second helicopter.
"We gotta get the hell outta here!" a Bright Hill staff member said before looking to see the alien ship has opened and heads for the helicopter.
At Redmill, the alien ship was also opening its panels over the city's largest skyscraper, and the citizens were watching. At the nearby base, the pilots are standing by at the taxiways so that they can get all transports planes carrying base staff, foreign air force crews and other pilots to takeoff first
"Strider 1, Strider and Cyclops squadrons are on standby." Trigger said.
"Garuda Team, standing by." Talisman said.
"Mobius Squadron on standby." Mobius 1 said.
"Sol Squadron, standing by." Seymour said.
"Windhover, waiting for takeoff orders." Windhover said.
"Avalanche here, on standby." Avalanche said.
"This is Sky Kid, waiting for clearance." Sky Kid said.
"Stingray, awaiting orders and on standby." Stingray said.
Meanwhile, at Oured International Airport, the presidential helicopter just landed on the tarmac, and everyone inside started running for the presidential aircraft, a VC-25 modified Boeing 747, that was waiting for them. Inside Air Force One, President Wilford and the others have boarded.
"Go ahead, pilot. We're ready to take off right now." Wilford said.
"Right away, sir." the pilot said.
Everyone started to take their seats. Henry and Jakob have taken their seats. Henry then opens his laptop to check the countdown.
'3, 2, 1, 0.'
Henry is horrified before saying...
'Time's up."
