RonaldM40196867: IDK.

estaciojohnrafael: As he said in the end of AC7 "My wings have been clipped".

ICA Agent 47 (Guest): Fix that.

lixiafossil: Especially in Strangereal.

Here's chapter 20 everybody.

Chapter 20: The Truth Is Out There.

At the ruins of St. Hewlett, Laila, Darius and Otis continued to walk until Laila noticed an intact truck.

"Baby, stay right here. Stay right here with Otis." Laila said.

Laila then went inside the truck and searched for the keys. Once she found them, she turned on the ignition and became glad that the truck still works.

"Yes!" Laila said in excitement.

Meanwhile, Tony was heading back to his RV while others around him were listening to radio broadcasts regarding the first counterattack at St, Hewlett.

"Reports indicate that this battle has repeated itself all over the world with the exact same results." a radio announcer reported.

In his RV, Howard and Marie were trying their best to make Elliot feel better and bring down his fever.

"You're just like your mother, you know that? She was stubborn too. Had to twist her arm to get her to take her medicine. You're gonna be alright." Howard said.

"You're gonna be fine." Marie said as Howard applied a wet towel over Elliot's forehead.

"See, Elliot? You're feeling better already." Howard said before he sees Tony walk in and gesture to him to come over.

"I couldn't find anything. Everyone's packing up. They're leaving. They said there's a spaceship heading this way." Tony said.

"We'd better leave, too, then." Howard said.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Marie looks to see a young man around her age with a bottle of medicine.

"Penicillin. At least it'll help keep his fever down." the man said.

"Oh, thank you. It's really nice of you to help us." Marie said.

"I wish I could do more, but we're moving out." the man said.

"I-I'm going with you." Marie said, earning a look from Howard. "Um… Well, I–I just- I mean, that we're going too."

"Cool." the man said.

"Tell that punk to shut the door. We're outta here. Go sniff around somewhere else." Howard said before Marie closed the door.

As both Osean and foreign pilots continue to escort Air Force One and the transport planes, not knowing where they are going, Trigger was talking to the Captain of Air Force One regarding any of the air battles against the aliens.

"You guys are not gonna believe this." Trigger said.

"What happened?" Count asked.

"Well, air battles, like one in St. Hewlett, has repeated itself all over the world with the exact same results." Trigger said.

"Which is..." Húxiān asked.

"All of them were one-sided. The aliens defeated us." Trigger said.

"What? How can these aliens defeat us so easily?" Talisman asked.

"Well, you're not gonna believe this, but the aliens have their own fighters and they have shields." Trigger replied.

"Shields?! Similar to what the Arsenal Bird had?" Seymour asked.

"Yes. Different from what I heard, but yes. Similar to the Arsenal Bird. No missiles couldn't hit those massive ships at all." Trigger replied.

"Now what? We're screwed if we can't get past their shields." Mobius 1 asked.

"I don't know, but we'll have to find a way, and fast." Viper 2 said.

"In this current time span, finding a way to get past their shields will be impossible." Sky Kid said.

"All we can hope for is a beacon of light to show us a way. Somewhere, we'll get an answer to all this." Stingray said.

"Stingray is right. All we can do is have hope." AWACS Long Caster said.

Meanwhile, inside Air Force One, Henry was becoming air sick while Jakob just looked at him, not surprised. As a former Belkan Air Force pilot, he is already used to flying and doesn't suffer from airsickness, regardless of any type of aircraft.

"Uhh…" Henry groaned, feeling sick.

"It's Air Force One, for crying out loud. Still he gets sick." Jakob said.

"Oh, boy. I don't feel so good." Henry said.

"Look at me, huh? Like a rock. Could be bad weather, could be good weather. It doesn't matter. We could go up. We could go down. We can go back. We can go forward. We can go side to side." Jakob said not realizing his words is making Henry more sick, forcing him to go elsewhere to puke. "What'd I say?"

As Henry leaves, Jennifer approaches and sits next to Jakob.

"He still gets airsick, huh?" Jennifer asked.

"Yeah." Jakob said.

"Mr. Grabner, with all of this, I, uh… I didn't get a chance to thank you two." Jennifer said.

"All he could think of was getting to you." Jakob said, making Jennifer blush a little. "There's still love there, I think."

"Love was never our problem." Jennifer said.

"'All you need is love'. John Lennon. Smart man. Shot in the back. Very sad." Jakob said.

Meanwhile, in another area of the plane, Wilford, Edwards, Shepherd, and Hurley were discussing the alien invaders and how to defeat them.

"We've moved as many of our forces away from our bases as possible, but we've already sustained heavy losses." Edwards said.

"I spoke with the joint chiefs when they arrived at OADC. They agree we must launch a counteroffensive with a full nuclear strike." Hurley said.

"Over Osean soil? You're saying at this point, we should sacrifice more innocent Osean civilians? Isn't that right?" Wilford said, not pleased with the idea of using nukes.

"Sir, if we don't strike soon, there may not be much of an Osea left to defend." Hurley said.

Suddenly, an OADF officer came in looking horrified.

"Sir, they've taken out OADC." the officer said.

"What?!" everyone said in shock.

"It's gone, sir." the officer said.

"My God. The vice president, joint chiefs." Shepherd said.

"Mr. President, we must launch. A delay now would be more costly than when you waited to evacuate the cities." Hurley said.

"No. no. You're not going to launch nuclear weapons." Henry said who just showed up. "You're going to kill them and us at the same time."

"You're our guest here." Shepherd said.

"If we fire nukes, then everybody else is going to fire them and have a nuclear fallout. It will be the Belkan War but worse. Ever hear of nuclear winter? It's the end of life as we know it. Jennifer, do you hear what they're talking about? Don't even think about it. I don't have to go. It can't be allowed." Henry said.

"Shut up!" Hurley yelled." Captain, get him out of here!"

"Hey, don't tell him to shut up!" Jakob said, who also just appeared. "You'd all be dead now if it wasn't for my Henry. None of you did anything to prevent this."

"There was nothing we could do. We all were totally unprepared for this." Shepherd said.

"Aw! Don't give me unprepared." Jakob said.

"Come on, Jakob." Jennifer said, trying to get him to leave.

"It was in the 1980s. You had that spaceship." Jakob said.

"Dad." Henry said.

"Yeah, that thing that you found in Redwood." Jakob said.

"Dad, no. Not the spaceship." Henry said.

"Mccord. Mccord, Redwood. Yeah. You had the spaceship, and you had the bodies. They were all locked up in a bunker. Where was that? Henry? Area 95, right? Area 95. You knew then, and you did nothing." Jakob said.

"Sir, regardless of what you may have read in the tabloids, there have never been any spacecraft recovered by our government. Take my word for it, there's no Area 95. There's no recovered spaceship." Wilford said.

"Uh, excuse me, Mr. President. That's not entirely accurate." Hurley said, making everyone look at him.

"What? Which part?" Henry said.

Back outside, Trigger just received a transmission from Long Caster.

"Okay, everyone. We got a location to go to." Trigger said.

"Finally, where are we going, Trigger?" Count asked.

"Umm…. Area 95." Trigger replied.

And that's the end of the chapter. Yes, Area 95 is the Osean Area 51. Picked 95 to reference the year the first Ace Combat game was release. Anyway, got nothing to say so stay tune next time in the next chapter. Please review. :)
