Here's chapter 21 everybody.
Chapter 21: Heading to Area 95.
Back at the ruins of St. Hewlett. Laila was driving the truck around the area to look for other survivors. She managed to find a few, who were sitting or laying down at the back of the truck.
"Hold on, everybody! Hold on!" Laila said.
Laila drives the truck down the distance. She then spots a man standing on top of rubble holding a cardboard sign and a Bible and Crucifix.
"The end hath come! He spaketh His word, and the end hath come!" the man said.
"Hop on! We're heading out to McKimson Air Force Base." Laila said.
"You cannot defy what hath come. It is the end!" the man said before sitting on the rubble.
Laila had no choice but to drive along. She then spots more people laying or sitting near a crashed helicopter.
"Can you give me a hand." Laila asked a fellow survivor.
"Yeah, sure." the man said.
Laila surveys the crashed helicopter remains. She checks for a pulse on the person lying on the floor. The man is dead. Meanwhile, Otis finds Mrs. Wilford and senses that she's alive. He barks to get her attention.
"Okay, okay. Let's get this off." Laila said.
"Here. Let me help you." the man who survived said.
Laila and the man pull the door out Mrs. Wilford.
"She's hurt pretty badly." the man said.
Mrs. Wilford only looked at her rescuers.
Somewhere in the desert, Michael was pulling his parachute. Inside is the alien pilot that he punched unconscious. He decided that this creature can be a threat if he just leaves inside its crashed attacker. He's been walking a long distance and nagging at it ever since.
"You know, this was supposed to be my weekend off. But no. You got me out here dragging your heavy ass through the burning desert, with your dreadlocks sticking out the back of my parachute. You've got to come down here with an attitude, acting all big and bad. And what the heck is that smell?!" Michael said before kicking the alien's body in frustration. "I could've been at a barbecue! But I ain't mad. It's all right. That is all right."
Suddenly, Michael sees a bunch of vehicles at the horizon, heading towards his direction. Michael lets go of the parachute to get the vehicle's attention. One vehicle that was towing an airplane stopped. It was Howard who was the driver.
"You need a lift, airman?" Howard asked.
"When I flew overhead, I saw a base not too far from here." Michael informed, making Howard look at his map.
"It ain't on the map." Howard said.
"Trust me. It's there." Michael said.
Afterwards, Michael managed to get a lift from a pickup truck driver, but not before he gets help putting the alien's body in there so that he can get it to the base that he saw during his escape.
