Chapter 3

When we are continuing on the road, East manages to capture a Hoothoot who likes to use illusion on us, and after that, we arrive close to snowy mountains.

"That mountain has snow on top of them." Kris says.

"Yeah, maybe we can see if we can ski." Ethan says.

I notice something and say, "Forget skiing, I found something that's even better! Just take a look over there!"

They look in my direction and they find a Chikorita lying on the grass enjoying the sunlight.

"It's a Chikorita! It's so cute!" Lillie says.

"Yeah, Chikorita's smell is great." Reisa says. "It is just like how Kris' Chikorita smells."

"Do you think it's a wild Chikorita?" East asks.

"I think so. I'm going to catch this one." I say.

The Chikorita already wakes up and she is already preparing to battle. Reisa says, "This Chikorita is not backing down a bit..."

I decide to use Pikachu to battle, and Pikachu did some damage on Chikorita using Quick Attack, but Chikorita uses Razor Leaf, which is repelled by Thunderbolt. I try to throw a Pokeball, but the ball just goes back.

"It's tougher than I thought..." I say, and Pikachu is already beaten with the Vine Whip.

"Pikachu, take a rest for now." I decide to switch to Charizard.

"Let's win this one, Charizard!" Chikorita isn't intimidated as she charges at Charizard, who simply holds her off with its foot.

"This one's pretty tricky, Charizard! Flamethrower attack!" I say, but Chikorita uses Vine Whip to trip Charizard, who ends up inadvertently burning Lillie.

"Are you okay? Lillie?" I gasp in shock.

"Charizard's power is really strong..." Lillie says while coughing smoke.

Chikorita then fires another Razor Leaf attack, but Charizard burns the leaves with Flamethrower, then flies in for a Tackle. Chikorita counters with another Vine Whip to the head, but this time, her vines get caught by Charizard's arms, and both Pokémon are pulled into a crash into a nearby mountain. Everyone runs over, and Ash recalls Charizard. The Chikorita struggles to stand but then dropped again.

"Oh no, Chikorita!" I quickly hold her up, and Reisa says, "It doesn't look good."

"I must have used up all of its energy. We have to do something fast." East says.

"There has to be a Pokemon Center nearby." Ethan says as we all rush there.

"We are almost there. Chikorita." I reassure her, but she proceeds to bite my arm. I wince in pain before continuing to rush to the Pokemon Center.

Later, Nurse Joy announces that the Chikorita will be fine. She then asks if I'm okay, because I still have the bite marks, but it doesn't really that hurt anymore. "I am fine. Thanks for worrying, Nurse Joy."

Reisa sighs and sprays a potion on my hand, "Stop being so stubborn, Ashy. Or your three girlfriends will be worrying all the time."

Lillie blushes and says, "Reisa, we aren't at that level yet. And it is four, not three!"

East says, "Wait, you already got another one? When?"

I blush a little and say, "You know Yellow, right?"

Thanks to Kris and Ethan, they help me change the topic. Kris asks, "Why do you use a Potion on Ash? He isn't a Pokemon, is he?"

Reisa says, "Of course he is a Pokemon." Then she gasps as she just tells them our big secret. "Me and my big mouth..."

"Wait, Ash is a Pokemon?" Ethan asks in shock.

I sigh and say, "Yes, I am a Pokemon disguised as a human." Kris wants to scan me, but she finds nothing.

"You need a National Dex if you want to scan him." Lillie says. "And make sure to keep it a secret because we don't need anyone to know about it."

In the medical room, Chikorita is asleep on a medical table. Nurse Joy explains that the Chikorita in this area are known for being stubborn, and they'll just keep battling until they can't battle anymore. Ash definitely admires their spirit.

Suddenly, an ambulance pulls up in front of the Pokémon Center, and two familiar-looking paramedics rush in. They quickly rush the Chikorita's table out to the ambulance, while Nurse Joy wonders who they were.

(Insert Team Rocket Motto)

I yell, "Team Rocket!"

"Not you three again!" East says.

James orders Weezing to use a Smog attack. Weezing does so, and Team Rocket drives off.

"I won't let them get away." I quickly sprint off, Lillie also chases after me, leaving Reisa and the others in worry.

We quickly jump down on top of the ambulance as it drives. And then we follow them to a cabin. "Lillie, Pikachu, Togepi, what do we say we should make some fun?"

"Yeah." The three nod.

I call Charizard to blast the Flamethrower on the front door, causing the trio to come out.

"What is happening?"

"Team Rocket, prepare for trouble!" Lillie says.

"On second thought, make that double!" I say.

"To protect the world from devastation?" Jessie is confused.

"To unite all peoples within our nation?" And so does James.

"Maybe you think we're a little too brash, but the masters are here, and my name is Ash!"

"And Lillie."

"Pikachu!"

"Togepi!"

"Our Pokémon team is faster than light!" Lillie says.

"Surrender now, or you're in for a fight!" I say.

"Meowth! That's right!" Jessie and James are annoyed and then they push Meowth away.

Jessie yells, "How dare you steal our motto?"

James says, "Yeah, that was copyright!"

"You three need to cool off!" The four of us are throwing snowballs at them, and then I rush to Chikorita. "Chikorita, they were bad guys who likes to hurt Pokemon. Come with us."

Chikorita nods and runs with us, But Meowth triggers a trap that catches Pikachu and Chikorita. We run out to help, but we get caught in it too. "Good thing they didn't get Togepi." I say.

"But after that Arbotank? I'm not going to let Togepi do anything reckless."

We attempt to make a run for it, but being tied together leads to trouble when I end up going over a hill, and Lillie, Chikorita, Togepi, and Pikachu are pulled down with me. We end up rolling down the hill in a snowball, bouncing off trees as they shoot down. Eventually, we ramp off a hill and crash into a tree, leaving us hanging by the rope holding us together. The rope breaks, sending us tumbling to the ground and getting buried by snow. This actually turns out to be a break, as the snow burying hides us from Team Rocket as they ride past in pursuit.

"Hey, that was kinda fun, wasn't it?" I ask.

"Totally." Lillie giggles as well as their Pokemon, except Chikorita.

Lillie, Pikachu, Togepi, Chikorita, and I are trying to figure out where they need to go to get back down to the Pokémon Center. Chikorita suddenly runs off.

"Hey, where are you going?" I yell, but I end up slipping and falling as Chikorita disappears.

"Ash, are you alright?" Lillie asks in worry.

"I guess it is a goodbye..." I frown, then we realizes it is starting to snow, so we make our way to a cave. Charizard builds a fire in the cave, making us warm. I still can't forget about Chikorita, it must be suffering since Grass is weak to Ice.

"Ash?" Lillie asks in confusion.

I stand up and say, "I am going to find Chikorita, she must be outside shivering."

Pikachu asks, "Let us come with you."

"No, you stay here. Reisa and the others might try to find us. I have Icicle Plate with me, so the cold won't bother me."

I quickly walk outside and look for Chikorita, just then, we find something run past. But it turns out to be a pair of lovestruck Nidoran. Suddenly, vibrations occur, and the snow collapses under me, sending me falling down short ways. As I thought I wouldn't be able to find Chikorita, I found her shivering in front of me.

"Chikorita! I just knew I could find you!" I say, and Chikorita suddenly jumps into my arms and hugs me. I quickly hold her while going into the cave, and then I try to keep her warm. Chikorita is sleeping happily in his clothes.

The next day, the snowstorm has stopped, and we can finally make it back to the Pokemon Center. But Team Rocket already found us, they are armed with a snowball firing machine, loaded up with snow, and they start shooting.

Chikorita, however, uses Razor Leaf on the snowballs, then, under my order, Vine Whips the snowball shooters, causing it to go out of control. While Team Rocket's distracted, I order a Thunderbolt from Pikachu. Pikachu complies, frying Team Rocket. The Thunderbolt causes the Snowball Shooter to explode, sending Team Rocket blasting off again.

"Well done, you two." Lillie says. Then Reisa, East, Ethan, and Kris arrive, they are glad that we are safe.

Soon, we are back at the Pokémon Center, and we are getting ready to hit the road again.

"Chikorita, you try not to be so stubborn from now on, okay?" I ask.

Then we bid farewell to Nurse Joy, but Chikorita rushes towards us, and she's waving her scent in front of me.

"Looks to me like Chikorita wanted to travel with you, Ash." Nurse Joy says. "Chikorita could really use a trainer like you to be not so stubborn."

"Maybe you're right." I say, and Chikorita wants to come with me, so I capture her in a Pokeball.

Chikorita: The Leaf Pokemon: Grass Type. It loves to bask in the sunlight. It uses the leaf on its head to seek out warm places.

"It is nice to meet you as well, Chikorita." Lillie says, but then somehow she shoots her a glare, much to Lillie's confusion.

"What did I do?" Lillie asks and no one has the answer to that.

Then we get to Cherrygrove City, and a Quagsire tries to steal the GS ball. This frightens us since the GS Ball is important to our mission from Professor Oak to look for Kurt.

We chase him to the river where a bunch of Quagsires gather a lot of stuff. Thanks to Officer Jenny's help, we manage to convince the Quagsire to give them back. Reisa also watches a Quagsire playing with a Pokeball happily.

Suddenly, Team Rocket grabs Pikachu and Togepi with a metal claw, but Quagsire, who is willing to listen to Reisa, uses Mud Bomb to save them. Pikachu also sends them flying. After that, Quagsire decides to join Reisa.

Then we meet a man named Guide Gent, seeing how Reisa, Ethan, and Kris are new trainers, he insists to give them a tour of Cherrygrove City. The three of us who are already trainers decide to watch how he introduces the places and also adds some that he didn't mention. Once they're done, he gives them each a new pair of Running Shoes, and also use the map data of the Johto Region.

"So now we don't really need to rely on you with the map anymore." Kris says.

"Yeah, all of us now have the map of Johto, it should be easier to know where we are if we got lost." Lillie adds.

Here is a new chapter, and this is basically the Chikorita capturing chapter. I hope you like it and the next chapter will be more Pokemon capturing and possibly getting a new rival.
