Onboard Mantack's ship, still situated in the park, Keldor entered the bridge. "You'll probably be annoyed to know that I've persuaded Archris to nominate me as a liaison between your crew and his."

"Meaning that you have some ulterior motive for doing so.", Mantack said in response. "No-one volunteers for liaison duty of their own free will. You want something."

"More accurately, I can offer something.", Keldor answered him, as he held up a small device. "I've managed to install device that allows me to listen in on the Rangers in their home. In order to recover information."

Dapperfly then stepped forward. "I think you'll want to hand that over to Porcuprick. He's reviewing your collected battle recordings to formulate a counter strategy."

"Not to fight them.", Keldor snapped at him. "My spying is supposed to break them, make them so defeated internally that they'll beg for destruction." He inserted the device into the ship's console, in one of the few modern ports installed.

And on the other end, the Rangers were going about their day, as Grandma Rose watched the news. "And in the news of the current political scene, Douglas Fart has thrown his hat into the ring of the recall election. He promises to 'Make Savannah City Amazing" once more and create a barrier to shield from invading aliens, with the costs outsourced elsewhere. So far, few have been willing to provide support for the notorious billionaire, compared to the 10% and growing that Florence Primavera is experiencing right -."

Rose turned it off. "Honestly, this whole election seems like a lot of fuss over very little. We all know Komura's going to get re-elected for another term."

"I don't know.", Trunks told her. "Flo's gaining more popularity every day. I'm sure that pretty soon, only Komura's diehard supporters will be left."

"Well you would say that.", Marina pointed out. "You are a friend of her. Not exactly an impartial source."

The conversation was interrupted with Johnny entering with a suit and a bouquet. "Woah, you're looking very smart.", Lenny commented. "I haven't seen you clean up like that since Tora's birthday party."

"Which reminds me.", Luke spoke up. "Can we throw that cake out already? It's starting to stink because we never ate it."

"It looked too much like a real tiger.", Tora protested. "I couldn't let you cut him up."

"It's for a special occasion.", Johnny told them. "It's Mom's birthday. Or rather, what would've been her birthday if she hadn't…"

Luke had a realisation as he went over to Johnny. "Bro, I'm sorry I forgot. I've just been wrapped up in, well,…"

"It's ok.", Johnny assured him. "In fact, you can come with me this time. It'll be nice for a chance to see her again."

On the other end of the bug, Mantack laughed at this. "Yes, it would be nice if you could see her again."

"I see you have a plan, boss.", Berserker commented.

"Indeed I do.", Mantack told him. "But in order for everything after phase 1 of the plan to work, I'm going to need you to provide a distraction."

Keldor then threw a pile of Bacteri coins to the pair. "Consider this an advance payment to make it especially entertaining."

"Oh, I can do entertaining.", Berserker assured him.

Elsewhere, Johnny and Luke had arrived at the cemetery, where Johnny placed the bouquet on the grave marked. "This stone was dedicated to Jeffrey Perry, Died November 30th 2013, aged 52 Years and his wife Gillian Thomas, Died November 30th 2013, aged 44 years.' "This tombstone must've cost a lot.", Luke pointed out. "How did you and Grandma afford it?"

"The driver who hit them paid for it as a way of apologising.", Johnny answered. "His way of settling it out of court. Though I doubt we would've pressed charges anyway, it was a lovely gesture." After wiping some moss off the grave, he said. "Alright. Mom wouldn't want us to be sad on her birthday, so Grandma made it a thing that we go out for drinks at least."

"Sounds like a good idea.", Luke stated, as he and Johnny smiled. "Where did you have in mind?"

Before he could answer, Johnny saw an explosion coming from nearby. "I think we should check that place out."

"Right.", Luke nodded as he took his phone out and dialled.

Back at the zoo house, Trunks received the call. "What?", he blurted out. "You want us to head to the area of the cemetery to fight a monster? We'll be over as quickly as possible."

But as he hung up, Tora pointed at the scene on the news. "Look."

The image depicted Berserker and a group of Bacteri causing destruction. "In breaking news, another Space Hunter has appeared in the town plaza. This one seems to be using an axe to to deal out destruction…"

"That's no regular Hunter.", Marina realised. "He was with Mantack's crew. They must've teamed up with Archris to have access to Bacteri."

"Looks like we're going to have to somehow deal with two problems at once.", Lenny pointed out. "I mean, we can't deal with both attacks at the same time."

"He's right.", Trunks nodded. "You go deal with that guy. I'll help the brothers." Everyone nodded and set off running. "Good luck, everyone."

At the field, Johnny and Luke came across Mantack. "Well, what a coincidence. Just the humans I was looking for.", Mantack laughed. "Now I have a chance to take your Cubezords for Archris."

"So you have teamed up with them.", Johnny realised. "Well we'll send you packing, just like we did with those guys." He took out his Primal Morpher, pressing his button and forming the logo. "Primal Spirits, Awaken!" He morphed into the Eagle Ranger and immediately entered Primal Mode. "Spinning Skystorm Strike!" Mantack saw Johnny gliding towards him and blocked the attack. As opposed to the usual destructive power, he was only blown back a few feet.

"Too slow.", Mantack mocked as he flicked his opponent to the ground and kicked him. As Johnny reverted to his normal form, Mantack used super speed to appear behind him, delivering a series of slashes with his sword that blew Johnny into a tree, knocking him out. "Perfect." He went over and pressed his hand against Johnny's forehead.

"Johnny!", Luke cried out, before getting angry. "That's it. You're for it now, buddy." He took out his Predator Morpher, setting it to the Rhino face. "Predator Spirits, Awaken!" He morphed into the Chimera Ranger, swinging his Reel Staff into the Hunter's hook.

But Mantack merely entangled it. "Bored of you, now." He threw the Reel Staff - and it's user - overhead. "I have business to attend to, so I'll leave you a friend to play with." He then walked off.

Soon enough, Trunks came running, just as Luke recovered. "Are you alright?", the Animan asked. "Where's the situation?"

"He got away from me.", Luke answered as he indicated the unconscious Johnny. "Looks like Mantack did some damage while he was here." And then, a figure that he didn't recognise, resembling a dead tree, appeared in front of him. "It seems like a new situation just showed up."

"That's Trunkrush!", Trunks realised. "The first guy we ever fought after becoming Rangers. Looks like he's regrown himself."

"That's right.", Trunkrush stated as he aimed his cannon at Johnny's prone form. "Now neither of you make any sudden moves, or I'll finally get my payback by blowing your friend away."

Before he could fire, a middle-aged woman ran in between Johnny and Trunkrush's cannon. "Get him, while he's distracted.", the woman called out. "Now!"

While Luke could only stare in shock, Trunks quickly snapped out of it. "Okay." He morphed and then called up his own Primal Mode. "Rock Quaker!" He pounded his foot into the ground with enough force to send Trunkrush flying.

Luke then recovered from his confusion to attack with the hook of his Reel Staff. "Catch Hook!" The hook glowed with energy as it charged into Trunkrush, causing him to disperse in the same manner as Mega Miner had before. "So two monsters you guys met before both appear alive and well and then disintegrate upon defeat? That seems suspicious."

"I know what you're thinking, Luke.", the woman commented. "But I assure you, I'm as real as you two."

"That reminds me.", Trunks spoke up. "Who are you? Why did you run in to help us?"

As if on cue, Johnny woke up, took one look at the woman and knew who she was. "Mom!"

"That's right, it's me.", the woman assured him. "Your mother. I'm back."

Across town, the other three Rangers came across Berserker. "Well well, the rats have fallen into the trap.", Berserker laughed.

"Not likely, creep.", Marina commented as everyone took out their Morphers. "It's Morphin' Time!"

"Primal Spirits, Awaken!" The three morphed and ran into battle.

"Take care of them.", Berserker commanded of his Bacteri minions, motioning hem to run in and attack.

The three Rangers engaged the Bacteri, with Marina throwing one of them down, while Lenny rolled out of the way of another. Tora went over to a group of hostages in a net, while Lenny chose to directly engage Berserker in battle. Tora converted her weapon into a Primal Saber to cut through the net. "Everyone get away. We'll handle this."

"They were just decoys to get your attention.", Berserker stated as he pulled out another net. "You'll be my real prey, Tiger." He then threw it at the white Ranger.

"Watch out!", Marina and Lenny both cried out as they both moved to protect Tora, only for both to get captured. They were soon rendered unmorphed and unconscious by an electric shock.

"Oh no.", Tora cried out, as a Bacterus appeared to sword fight her before she could free her friends.

"Two out of three. I can work with this.", Berserker laughed as he went over to his prone captives and teleported away with them.

Tora was left alone with two Bacteri, who she promptly dispatched before realising what had happened. "He got Lenny and Marina. Because they were trying to save me. It's my fault."

Onboard the Arrowhead, Keldor had been showing video of the battle to the rest of the bridge crew. "I'm impressed.", Ignoblia admitted. "These bounty hunters of yours are working spectacularly, Keldor."

"Yes, far better than any of our own failures.", Archris commented. "Though Berserker still has to deal with them to get the Cubezords."

"Don't worry.", Keldor assured him. "We've arranged for something a little… entertaining."

Back at the zoo house, Johnny and Trunks were examining the woman. "Incredible.", Johnny said. "She looks entirely like my mother, even down to the small scar on her left index finger."

"That's because I am your mother.", the woman responded angrily as she dope slapped Johnny. "I know exactly why you got your name. I know what we did to help you ride a bike. And I know that you were in diapers until you were 8 years old because of your nighttime oopsies."

"You wet the bed?", Trunks asked, barely able to contain his laughter.

"Thanks for sharing that information, Mom.", Johnny sighed. "But how is this possible? I was told you died in a car crash."

"I did.", Gillian assured her son. "After that, I remember a light, and then darkness, as I woke up to see you slumped against a tree, with that monster trying to attack you."

"We can't just ignore this.", Luke pointed out. "After all, there's been a few strange revivals lately. We can't just take this at face value."

"He's right.", Trunks said in response. "We should try and figure out the cause of this sudden resurrection."

Before anything else could be said, Tora burst in. "Lenny and Marina have been kidnapped by a Hunter." She then took sight of Gillain sat there. "Oh, hello." She waved sheepishly.

"You must be one of Johnny's new friends.", Gillian smiled. "I'm his mother."

"Ok.", Tora commented, as she went over to Luke and whispered. "I thought your mom was…"

"Anyway, it's clear there's an emergency in progress.", Trunks spoke up. "We should all go and respond to it. Come on, Johnny."

"Sorry, but I'm going to have to sit this one out.", Johnn pay spoke up. Before Tora could protest, he merely shook her hand and whispered. "Trust me" into her ear.

Tora instantly changed her tune. "He's not coming then. Let's go you two." She grabbed onto Trunks and Luke, dragging both of them out of the room.

Gillian was also confused. "Aren't you going with your friends, son?"

"No, I thought I'd spend some time getting reacquainted with you.", Johnny stated. "In fact, let's go on a tour."

Outside, Tora, Trunks and Luke decided to commence their search. "It might be pertinent to have some kind of bloodhound.", Luke suggested as he took out his Predator Morpher, using it to morph. "Primal Change: Wolf!" After undergoing a second transformation, he asked "Do you have anything that belongs to Lenny or Marina so I can pick up their scent?"

The two thought for a while, before Tora came up with something, pulling a handkerchief out of her pocket. "Marina keeps putting this on my bed. I forgot to return it to her today."

"It's as good as anything.", Trunks suggested. "Take a whiff."

Luke smelled the scent on the handkerchief and then immediately turned northeast. "They're in that direction, near the old stadium." He then grabbed onto his two allies. "Let's go." He then zoomed off at super speed.

Elsewhere, both Marina and Lenny woke up to find themselves in a boxing ring. "Ah, looks like tonight's main act is finally awake folks.", Berserker announced from the audience seats. "Oh, and don't bother trying to morph into Rangers and run away." He held up a small net containing their Primal Morphers. "And as for running away, I've set the room to self destruct if three or less people are in it. And my borrowed troops will be dispersed if you two leave to ensure detonation."

"So I guess you want us to fight each other to the death.", Marina surmised.

"Exactly.", Berserker nodded. "The prize for successfully vanquishing your opponent will be your life and your freedom. Failure to fight will result in me and my party leaving the room. It's your choice."

With little recourse, both Rangers stood up and faced each other. "Now then, Marina.", Lenny said softly. "Just because we're fighting to the death doesn't mean we shouldn't go eas-." Marina interrupted by punching Lenny right in the face. "Hey, I thought we were allies."

"We are.", Marina spoke up. "But right now, we're adversaries. And I won't go easy on any adversary, no matter how well I know them." She then leapt forward to deliver a kick that knocked her ally into the ring, giving him a mild shock.

"Oh, I should've mentioned.", Berserker spoke up. "The ring has a charge running through it. Not enough to kill, unless you spend too long touching it. So that's another reason you shouldn't try to escape."

"If that's the case," Lenny decided, "then I'm not gonna hold back either, Marina." He proceeded to transform into his Animan form and slash at her, leaving a prominent set of gashes on her face.

"Alright then, if you want to play it like that, then so will I." Marina also transformed into her Animan form, running in to battle.

Elsewhere in town, Johnny had taken Gillian to a cinema. "Do you remember this place?", he asked. "You told me it's where…"

"Your father and I went on our first date.", Gillain finished. "It's also across the street at that restaurant where he proposed to me."

"Yeah, that was a fairly good story.", Johnny smiled. "Do you even know what movie it was you saw back then?"

"Oh, it was probably some silly love movie or something.", Gillian answered him. "Come on, where else do you want to show me?"

"Oh, there's just one more place.", Johnny assured her.

Oh his ship, Mantack was observing everything. "Looks like things are really starting to get interesting. It's time for me to get ready for the final phase."

Back at the stadium, the fight between the two Animen was proceeding. "It's just like old times, right?", Marina pointed out. She thought back to their time on Cubalia, when the two of them were competing with each other in a training exercise, with both on the edge of a high up cube. Though Marina was almost knocked off, she was able to turn things around and almost force Lenny over the edge. The two then threw punches at each other simultaneously, but Marina's had gone through and successfully knocked Lenny over the edge.

"I let you win that time.", Lenny insisted. "That won't happen again here." He then ran forward to attack, with Marina successfully blocking his punch by crossing her arms. "Impressive. No-one's ever thought to block that move before."

"Probably because no-one's realised how predictable you are.", Marina retorted as she knocked his arm down and then scratched the face. "Or had skin as thick as mine."

Back on the Arrowhead, the fight was being witnessed. "Oh Keldor, your bounty hunter's working perfectly.", Cuborg commented with glee.

"We might come close to actually destroying the Rangers here.", Archris noted as Ignoblia finished pouring him a drink. "Or we could just as likely discover some weakness in their fighting style." He then extended in size, startling everyone. "Savour the taste of victory here, my servants."

"Yes, Lord Archris.", Keldor stated as he clenched his fist.

Back in the arena, Lenny grabbed onto Marina's leg and turned her over. But she managed to kick him back, before getting up and throwing a punch, which was caught. "You're being too slow.", Lenny informed her as he flipped her over. "I can read all of your moves."

"We know each other too well.", Marina commented as she got up and started throwing punches. "None of us can gain the advantage."

"You're right.", Lenny stated as he grabbed into his friend and threw her over his shoulder. "This all comes down to endurance." He then threw her forward, and put his paw on her shoulder. "Drop it. You're not going to last for much longer out of water."

But Marina instead used his arm to pull herself up. "I've got enough water in my system to kick your ass." She knocked his arm away and then started throwing punches

But Lenny caught the second punch and grabbed his friend and teammate by the necklace. "You're becoming obsessed.", he told her as he threw her to the ground.

But still, Marina stood up, barely catching her breath. "Oh, this is getting good.", Berserker commented ecstatically. "Finish this."

"Right.", Lenny noted as he stared at his own paw. "Time to finish this farce."

He started running towards his foe, who took advantage of the edges of the ring to propel herself straight into the Lion Animan, launching her own punch. "Stop!" Both halted barely an inch from each other's face, as Trunks, Tora and Luke entered the arena. "Show's over.", Trunks finished.

"You!", Berserker said as both Trunks and Tora proceeded to morph. "Why'd you have to find me right after it was about to get interesting?"

"Wild Blast!" Both Rangers fired their Primal Blasters, destroying the ring and its electric field.

"Looks like your shows getting cut short.", Luke stated as he used his Reel Staff to snag the net containing the two Primal Morphers. "Now I can't tell these apart, so you'll have to find your own." He then threw the net into the ring.

Marina, reactivating her DNA Cloak, wasted no time in picking one of the two out. "I think I have a handle on it." She turned it over to revealed a monograph 'M'. "I signed mine." She threw the other at Lenny.

"Thanks, Marina.", Lenny called out as he reactivated his own DNA Cloak. "Now we can really bring the hurt on that guy."

"Exit, stage left.", Berserker whimpered as he ran off, with the Rangers chasing after him.

Sooner or later, the 5 Ranger confronted Berserker outside. "Let's see how that fight we had the other day would've ended.", Tora called out at Berserker.

"No, he's mine.", Lenny insisted.

"And mine.", Marina added. "You handle the Bacteri."

And so the usual fight commenced, with Trunks beating back Bacteri with his bare fists, while Tora managed to floor one by applying pressure to its head. She then engaged in a deadlock with another Bacterus, which she used to rotate her body to an angle where she could kick it down. Luke meanwhile used his Reel Staff to wrap up one Bacterus, that he sent spinning into all the others, finishing them off. "Now we leave the rest to the others."

Lenny and Marina delivered a series of scratches to Berserker knocking him backwards. "Now you know how we felt being forced to fight each other.", Marina said mockingly.

"It's easier to deliver pain than feel it.", Lenny commented.

"No please, I'm sorry.", Berserker insisted as the pair changed tactics and began spinning around his body to land minor blows. "Mantack made me do it, all as a distraction from his real scheme." The pair then kicked him down together. "You have to believe me." He then pulled out his axe and went in to fight back.

"We do believe you.", Lenny said as he and Marina leapt out of the way of blasts from the axe. "But that doesn't make you any less responsible."

Marian then edged out of the way as Berserker swung the axe at her directly. "If anything, you're just as culpable." Lenny then began grappling with Berserker, tricking him into lowering his axe so he could use his Primal Mode claws to catch it.

"Let's see how you do in hand-to-hand.", Lenny declared as he threw the axe away before commencing with his Primal Attack. "Lion-tning Slash!" He then grabbed onto Berserker's leg to force him down to commence slashing him.

"Get off me, you filthy animal.", Berserker growled as he summoned a second axe and knocked Lenny aside.

"Not a chance." Lenny then resumed his stance on top of Berserker, using his claws to slash at him. He then grabbed the Bounty Hunter and held him up. "Your turn, Marina."

"On it.", she nodded as she assumed her own Primal Mode. As Lenny kicked Berserker into the air, Marina leapt up and commenced her own Primal Attack. "Tidal Impact!" She crashed into the airborne opponent several times, eventually sending him crashing down to Earth.

"You're no match for us.", Lenny stated as he put his arm around Marina's shoulder, which she knocked away.

"Let's just end this creep so we can figure out what Mantack is really up to.", Marina insisted as she took out her Primal Blaster. She and Lenny then converted them to Primal Sabers, before launching their combination attack. "Wild Fury Savage Bite!" The two leapt into the air and brought their Sabers down, generating a set of teeth that bit into Berserker, right before the hit that fatally wounding him.

"Guess the knockout goes to you.", Berserker cried out as he exploded.

The other three then rejoined the pair. "Looks like you two have this problem solved.", Trunks noted. "We weren't really necessary."

"Don't be silly.", Marina light-heartedly chided him. "Without you, we wouldn't have been able to get out of there alive."

Lenny on the other hand was perfectly serious. "But that guy mentioned that Mantack had some other plan. We need to thwart that before it starts."

"We're too late for that.", Tora informed him. "But Johnny is seeing to preventing its success."

Onboard the Arrowhead, the conclusion had been viewed by the Hunters. "It's a shame that Berserker hadn't been implanted with a coin slot.", Archris lamented.

"Eh, he wasn't so tough.", Cuborg retorted. "I have more power in my left elbow than he had."

"Don't count Mantack out yet.", Keldor snapped as he knocked Cuborg back. "He might just have another trick up his sleeve."

Elsewhere, Johnny had led his mother to the final place on their tour. A quaint little house on the outskirts. "Do you remember what this place is?", Johnny asked.

"Sure.", Gillian nodded. This is where I grew up, along with your uncle Milo. There was a school a few miles up the road where we went to, but it got torn down and turned into -."

"A sausage factory, I know.", Johnny stated. "You told me this story when I was 7. But what you never told me was something that seems pertinent now. What was the name of your favourite teacher?"

Gillian was confused, but briefly covered it up with a "I don't remember." She then noticed Johnny was now regarding her with hostility. "I'm sensing I've said or done something I shouldn't have."

"Quite a few actually.", Johnny answered. "The fixation on me over Luke, the lack of questions regarding my allies or me being a Power Ranger, you not being able to recall specific emotional details that most people wouldn't forget - it all pointed to one thing."

"And what would that be.", Gillian asked, slightly annoyed.

"You're a copy.", Johnny answered her. "One whose memories are based on my own memories of my real mother, from the perspective of a child holding onto precious memories, to inform her."

Mantack appeared, clapping his hands. "Bravo, you've partially figured it out. All that's missing is an answer as to who exactly is responsible for the copy."

"Oh that's obvious.", Johnny told him. "You show up, touch Lenny's head with that hand of yours and then a monster we defeated shows up? And then my dead mom comes back after you touched my head. That's definitely a pattern that suggests you can clone people by scanning memories of them."

"Indeed.", Mantack nodded. "But their initial memories are unfortunately dependent on what's in the mind of whoever's memories I pull them from, with the person's full memories returning over time."

"He's not lying.", Gillian clarified. "I may not remember anything you don't, but if we have more time, then I can be the mother who you never got to say goodbye to. We could continue on from where we left off." Johnny's angry demeanour wore off, as her words sunk in. The chance to spend time with his mom that he had taken from himself. To tell her about the 10 years since the accident, how he had lost and found Luke, travelled to an alien world, made some wonderful friends, and become a Power Ranger saving the world from aliens. He could have it all.

But unfortunately, fate had its own trick to play on him in the form of Mantack. "A touching proposition. But bear in mind that I made you, 'Gillian'. And I can in-make you in turn." He clicked his fingers, causing her to collapse to the ground. "You only have a few seconds to spend with her, human. I suggest you make them quick. I despise sappiness."

"Mom!", Johnny ran over to his mother as she was fading away. "No, don't make me lose you again. Once was painful enough."

"Johnny, it's okay.", Gillian assured him. "Even if I never got all the memories of my real self, I still loved you. And I know the real me would be proud of you saving the Earth, because I'm proud of you for it." And with that said, she faded out completely.

Johnny stood up, turning to face Mantack. "I know why you did that.", he stated, little emotion entering his voice. "You wanted to break me by dangling hope in my face and then snagging it away, perhaps even make me angry. And you know what?" He took out his Primal Morpher, using it to become the Eagle Ranger. "I forgive you for that. But don't mistake that for me forgiving you for everything." He then sent his Chain Saber swinging towards Mantack…

…who blocked using his own sword. "A noble sentiment, human.", Mantack nodded as he knocked his foe's weapon back before unleashing an energy slash that knocked Johnny against a tree. "Too bad it's your last one."

But before he could lower his raised hook, Mantack was shot at by the other Rangers arriving. "Your little distraction was clever.", Marina stated. "But too bad he put his foot in his mouth."

"And Johnny was onto your plan all along.", Trunks added. "Before we set off to fight your friend, he gave me a small note saying 'She's a fake. I'll be investigating', so we left him behind to see if she'd slip up, while we proceeded with the rescue mission."

"So, you took care of Berserker already?", Mantack asked as he went over to Marina, placing his Anima Arm on her head. "Now my Anima Arm will make sure he's not only back, but better than ever." He then made his eyes glow as a giant sized Berserker appeared in the city. "And I'll make sure he gets some help as well. Arise, King Card." Sure enough, a giant copy of King Card appeared next to Berserker.

"What ho?", King Card proclaimed as he came to life.

"Are you talking about my mother?", Berserker snarled at him.

"Oh Geez, that guy.", Luke sighed.

"So he can not only revive anyone, but also choose their size?", Lenny asked.

Tora nodded. "Seems that way."

"I'll leave you to play with them for now.", Mantack stated as he turned around and teleported away.

Johnny then recovered and ran over to the others. "Seems that we have a situation on our hands.", he commented, before pulling out the Eagle and Gorilla cubes. "Cubezords, enlarge!"

The 12 Cubezords that appeared then combined into two Megazords. "Jungle Beast Megazord, ready!"

"Hunter Megazord, ready!" The Bat Zord then appeared and transformed into the Bat Blade.

"This is a new development.", King Card commented as he and his battle partner turned around. "The Chimera Ranger on the side of do-gooders?"

"He's a Power Ranger, what did you expect?", Berserker asked, as all 4 combatants moved in to do battle.

King Card swung his fan at the Jungle Beast, which blocked with its arm. "Is this guy really trying the same tricks again?", Trunks asked.

"Well his memories are based on my memories.", Marina pointed out. "Which does limit what he can do."

Nearby, Berserker and the Hunter locked their weapons with each other. "Can you finish that guy off and help me?", Luke asked.

"Sure thing.", Johnny nodded as he had the Jungle Beast punch King Card back. Luke meanwhile used the Bat Blade to slash Berserker back.

"These guys really are beyond what I was payed for.", Berserker wheezed as he and King Card recouped.

"This is most unbecoming for one of my stature.", King Card declared.

"Bat Splitter!" Luke sent the Bat Blade spinning towards both enemies, hitting them hard enough to disarm them. "Time to go all out." He then reconfigured his Hunter Morpher to the three animals face and pressed the button 4 times. "Predator Megazord: Super Formation!"

"Zords combine!" The Bear Zord appeared, allowing for all the Zords on hand to become one. "Predator Megazord, ready!"

"This can't be good.", Berserker commented as he and King Card stood up. Sure enough, the Predator Megazord fired its cannon at the pair.

"Predator Prey Super Laser Blast!" As Luke placed his Morpher on the control weapon, the cannon unleashed a straight beam at the two monsters, causing them to disintegrate. "Top of the food chain."

But Johnny was in no mood to celebrate, a fact that Tora picked up on. "Johnny, are you ok?"

Back on his ship, Mantack returned to find Keldor and Dapperfly waiting for him. "Well that whole operation was a failure.", Dapperfly commented. "Not only did you not defeat the Red Ranger, but we lost Berserker to a poorly planned distraction."

"He was a deadweight anyway.", Mantack said dismissively. "If anything, you and Porcuprick will each get half of his 10% cut of the profits."

"15% of the profits?", Keldor asked. "My, someone's generous."

"I need to make sure that my whole crew's onboard with my decisions.", Mantack explained. "That way, I can make more shots at the Rangers to claim their Cubezords."

Down on Earth, Johnny was once more at his mother's grave, as the others looked on. "It's horribly have to lose a parent.", Trunks said bitterly. "But I can't imagine what it's like to lose one twice."

"Even though she was just a copy, she did what our real Mom would've done.", Luke added. "She stood up to save her son from danger."

"That Mantack.", Marina growled. "If I ever get my hands on him, I'll…"

Johnny then rejoined the others. "Well, there's no sense in spending the rest of my life mourning. Shall we go home?"

The others didn't take long to react to this. "Right.", Tora nodded. "Let's do that."

And so the Rangers headed home, unaware they were being observed by a figure in a Red Ranger costume, wielding a sword.
