A/N: Thanks to Katherine for being my beta (in spanish).

"I can't believe you failed history, of all things."

I pull out my book filled with a bunch of extremely boring data that happened hundreds of years ago and I don't give a shit.

"I mean, you are THE time traveler. You should know the history better than anyone."

Yeah I know. I know. And if it wasn't for Fluff giving me the wrong data, I'd have asked her for help.

"I thought you would fail math. History is the easiest. You just have to memorize."

My brother, who is good at history, was supposed to help me study, but he just babbles.

"Max has helped me with maths. Why do you think I've been to his house so much?"

"I thought you were involved."

"Gross! He's my friend!"

Of course, that is not the reason why I have gone to his house. And he doesn't know that he has helped me with math. I have copied all of his exams. And I don't wanna think about it.

I open the book to the first theme: Mesopotamia and Egypt.

"You know? The pyramids were built by aliens."

It already starts.

"Yes, Jalil."

"Don't talk to me in that tone. Extraterrestrial life is more likely than magical creatures that give superpowers, and the latter exist."

He's right, the odds are there. And I can't ignore them, Max spends the day talking about them. Sure there's extraterrestrial life. Now, them building the pyramids... Better not say anything, I need him to help me with history.

"What came first Mesopotamia or Egypt?"

Mesopotamia. I said it to change the subject. And he realizes.

"Mesopotamia. Not much is known about that civilization, compared to Egypt, since not so many archaeological remains have been found. What are you going to do with the National End of Secondary Assessment? You have to enter the lycée."

"And I'll go in. I only have this subject left and I'll take the exam in September. My GPA isn't too bad, thanks to art and physical education."

He runs his hand over his face.

I don't know why he cares so much about my school future and not my future in general. I'm Bunnyx. An akuma can appear at any moment...

There's a strong blow behind us. My window has opened wide and a guy dressed in colors has entered.

Nino.

"Ugh, an adult."

He pulls a giant bubble-blower off his back and shoots a blue bubble at my brother, which catches him.

I jump out of my chair and stay where I am.

I have to think fast. I take the miracle off the desk without him seeing it. Whatever this akuma wants, I'll be ready.

My brother sees it, though he doesn't stay here long as his bubble floats out the window.

"We're going to a party." says the akuma.

A party? Studying is a pain in the ass, but an akuma for parties? And no adults.

Where is Fluff? I'm sure biting the TV remote. That damn kwami.

"Can I at least change my clothes or do I have to wear my pajamas?"

Yeah, I'm the kind of person who stays in my pajamas if I'm not going out.

The akuma walks over to my closet and starts rummaging through the clothes.

Uh... Okay.

"Fluff, come." I call as weakly as possible, so much so that I barely hear it myself. I hope it works and it's not just with the special phrase.

He throws a short on my bed. I don't have skirts or dresses, so at least I'm spared something.

The kwami enters through the door. I'm sure she knows what's going on. Moving as little as possible, I hand her the miracle and direct her to stand on the top of the closet. The boy doesn't see anything, since the closet doors get in the way.

He closes it, and he tosses me a pink tank top that says "Party." I bought it for a dare from Kim.

Hawk Moth: the fashion designer.

Either way, I've made time for Fluff and have an excuse to wear something that will allow me to carry the miracle.

"Fast." he orders before giving me space and turning to the door of my room. He won't let me get away.

I can hide Fluff.

Before leaving, he pours me about ten liters of cologne.

Having an akuma carrying me around half the city wasn't on my wish list, that he himself threatened me to "make Adrien happy on his birthday cause I'm the girl he likes", either. And I already know why he has been akumatized. Hawk Moth itself has caused it.

Adrien's house is huge, as expected. What's strange, and cold at the same time, is that he has an empty patio: no plants, no pool, just dirt.

There are already many teenagers there gathered, decorating and organizing the place. Among them, my class, now well, they are not the only ones. Kim and Juleka hang the garlands in high places, Max takes care of the mixer, Marinette decorates a last-minute cake, Kagami writes something on a huge poster, and Chloe stands off to the side, sulking.

As soon as we arrive, the akuma addresses Chloe.

"Work." He demands before grabbing the handle of his bubble-blower.

I can't let him do anything to Queen Bee, so I get in the way.

"And she will. She'll help me do my hair. I have to be pretty for the birthday boy"

First and last time I say that phrase.

He seems to find that believable, as he is leaving with Max.

Chloe looks me up and down. She opens her mouth, as if she's gonna speak, and closes it. I imagine she was gonna criticize my clothes.

"Why did you save me?" She asks in its place with genuine curiosity, in a tone that is not unusual for her.

Cause you are Queen Bee.

"Cause I'm not stupid."

Since the akuma isn't paying attention, she looks at her phone again trying to hide her annoyance.

It isn't long before the guest of honor shows up, completely taken aback by the party. Nino makes us all dance to his music and Adrien doesn't know anything.

Chloe continues to use her mobile, with social networks or whatever. She has problems with Adrien and she doesn't wanna be at his party.

I'm supposed to say hi to him, but I don't really want to either.

Luckily, Kagami gets there first. They seem to be doing quite well just talking to each other, even though everyone is looking at them. Still, it doesn't last long before Marinette jumps into the conversation. Chloe steps away from me and interferes.

Once again, she looks like I'm in the middle of a soap opera. The good thing is that this time I'm out, the bad thing is that Kagami has taken my place.

Adrien escapes from the conversation and does what would be normal at a birthday party: he walks around greeting everyone, dances, admires the cake... Doesn't he realize that the guy who puts on the music is blue?

In this open place there are no holes to hide, and while Adrien is distracted, and Nino seems to be too, I try to get inside the house. There has to be a hidden place there.

I'm near the gate, where the akuma left me with Chloe. She separated from me a while ago, maybe for the same reason as me.

Normally, I'd separate me from the crowd. I'm much shorter than most, and in the middle of August it'd be easy to be suffocated or crushed to death. Although this time I can use it to my advantage.

Moving among so many people they shouldn't see me.

I push carefully, going towards the edges of the crowd, which moves constantly but slowly, like the calm sea.

I try to hold back the burden that grows and fights to get out: it's very hot, I can't see where I'm going and the space to move is small, which doesn't help, since I don't like small spaces.

I make it to the outer, more scattered part and pretend to dance as I continue to walk away. I have crossed the courtyard without being seen.

Or so I think until someone comes up to me and pretends to dance next to me.

"What are you doing?" Kim asks.

Shit.

"Dance. It's what the coloured one has ordered us."

He doesn't buy it.

"I've been looking at you the whole time, you know? I was sure you'd try to hide."

Damn Kim. Tiresome as fuck. He has a fucking timing sense.

"Okay. I wanna hide. Are you gonna blame me?"

"No. I wanna too." Does Kim the braggart want me to help him escape from Nino? Despite the situation, it makes me wanna laugh.

"Are you afraid of Nino?" I laugh. It doesn't scare me. It worries me, yes, however I do not fear it.

He doesn't take it like he should, instead he gets much more serious.

"Before going after you, he kicked Ivan out."

And I stop laughing.

It's true. I haven't seen him in the whole time. So he doesn't just go after adults, for whatever reason, but he also attacks those who don't meet his demands.

He can't come with me, I have to transform. Maybe I can make an excuse, appeal to his ego.

I've already done it and it didn't work. I can't say no. Damn, why does it have to be Kim? I hate it.

"Okay. But it has to be fast. You are very big and the akuma can see you."

Nino stops looking at people to change the record he's playing. Now.

I gesture to Kim and run up the stairs to the entrance.

The absurdly large lobby, ominous stairs reminiscent of a fairytale palace. Hawk Moth has airs of grandeur.

We ran up those stairs. Luckily, we both exercise regularly.

"Where do you wanna go?" questions Kim.

"Where they can't find us."

Big hallway. Many doors. I enter the first one I see.

"Why hide so much? We have already escaped."

A bedroom. Not as big as I imagined, not small either. It is little personalized, rather nothing. And although it is very clean and organized, it is evident that it belongs to someone. It doesn't seem to be from any Agreste, nor from the gorilla that takes Adrien to school. It must belong to the woman who accompanies him sometimes.

Something on this site is weird. I look around the room. Something doesn't fit, I don't know what.

Now I can't think about that, we have to separate.

"Hide under the bed."

The boy watches it. Fine, I'm leaving.

"What are you saying? I don't fit..." He turns around. Shit. "Wait a minute, what are you gonna do?"

Think fast. An excuse that doesn't make him wanna come with me.

"I go to the bathroom. Whatever made us eat the akuma, it didn't sit well with me."

He won't want, right? He makes a disgusted face. Good.

"Okay… Let me know if you're gonna vomit."

"To leave?"

And hear something so unpleasant.

"To comfort you. I'm not that bad."

I'm glad I got it out of there.

He smiles, without mockery. Why at a time like this? Oh shit! It's cause I did it first. It's Kim! Dammit.

The good thing about bathrooms is that they often have a latch, so when I lock myself in one and transform, no one sees me. I don't think there are security cameras here either.

I go out through my burrow. Yes, it'll tire me, but through the door or the window I take a chance of being seen.

In five minutes I'll be vulnerable. By then Kagami and Chloe will already be with me.

I appear in a high place and slightly away from the crowd, that attracts his attention.

"Hey, you, the inflated!" I scream as much as I can. With music it's a bit difficult.

However, those closest to him turn, alerting the others and so on until they reach the akuma. The noise stops.

"Are we partying? What a pity! Normally I'm the life of the party, instead today I'm gonna be the killjoy. Everybody out!"

They're not repealed for a second. Everyone runs to the house or outside.

Nino doesn't either and he shoots blue bubbles, trapping some people.

Can they breathe in there?

No. I can't ask myself that, my brother is in there.

I see that Adrien hasn't moved, instead he's there in the middle, freaking out.

What the hell is wrong with him? Is he an idiot?

Whether for better or worse, the akuma is obsessed with him. And that makes it a target.

I do a big jump, something I'm apparently good at, and land next to him.

"Go away."

He doesn't move. Confirmed, he's an idiot.

I pull out my umbrella and grip it tight, ready.

The boy with skin as blue as mine looks me up and down with an aggressive expression.

"You have come to behave like adults. Ruining the fun. That's why I sent them up there," he says, pointing to the sky. "so they can't embitter us like they are."

He's an exaggerated, histrionic version of the laid-back Nino.

"Adults are needed. Who's gonna operate people or work in a power plant? Who's gonna grow our food or take care of the children? You? Doesn't strike me."

Adrien still doesn't move. I stand in front of him, I'll have to force him out.

"Not only are you just as boring as them, but you speak with the same condescension. Taking young people for useless incapable of thinking for themselves or even better than them. They spend the day suffering for everything, forgetting what it is to live and wanting to impose it on us." He yell angrily. "You will go to the sky to accompany them."

Sounds like a death sentence.

He creates a blue bubble with his bubble-blower, which he directs in my direction. I hit it to the side. It doesn't explode, it bounces back, which isn't a surprise.

He tries a second time, this time with a red. Something tells me it's not a good idea to repeat the movement.

"Hold on tight!" I warn Adrien.

And boy he does it. Now I do feel like I'm gonna vomit.

On this occasion, the jump is not forward but in height. The bubble below us explodes like a bomb when it hits the ground.

How did he intend to catch the miracle afterwards? And Adrien? Does he have no problem hurting his friend?

Not.

Hawk Moth doesn't care about hurting his son.

I have to remind myself of that.

Up here we are close to the roof, so in the fall I deviate towards the house. It's a bit difficult, having extra weight, I still manage to reach a balcony. Well more or less.

I leave Adrien there, I don't care what part of the house it is. And then comes the tiredness. Five minutes have already passed.

I look at the boy. His expression says a lot, he is horrified. He breathes heavily, looking at the yard. The girls have arrived.

"Won't you come down?" Try to hide the impression with a studied tone.

I can't right now.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes." He smiles. "But I've been an idiot thinking that people had a good time. He is an akuma."

His gaze shifts for a moment to my belly, to the pocket where I keep the miracle. He has noticed. He looks back at my face with a calculated expression of neutrality.

He tries to hide that he has figured out my miracle or whatever he thinks it is. What does that mean?

I'll think about it later. I'm going down now.

I launch myself from the balcony and land on the side. The akuma keeps throwing red bubbles at my partners. They dodge them, they don't pop them.

With Queen Bee it won't be difficult to stop him. From afar, she can use her spinning top to catch the bubble-blower. It has holes in it, so it shouldn't be hard for her. And considering that nothing about the akuma seems out of place, the object with the butterfly is possibly his weapon. I guess Ryuko and I will be the distraction.

I approach the dragon first.

"I have a plan." She says before I can open my mouth. A bubble comes from above and another one to the right. We jump to the opposite side. Queen Bee also has, even more. "I will transform into wind and I will lower all the adults of the city to the ground." Bubble to the left. "Then you can deakumatize him."

She doesn't wait for me to say yes, no. Nor She wait for me ask how she will notify us, which is what I wannna do, but instead moves her lips and becomes wind.

She's still a bit brief.

I see a butterfly appear on Nino's face. Look up. Hawk Moth tells him something about Ryuko.

A bubble approaches my head. Where did it come from? I jump again, in the direction of Queen Bee.

She doesn't look at me, even though she knows I'm here.

"Can you paralyze it?"

"Of course. But Ryuko doesn't want to yet."

"We don't know what will happen when we take away his powers."

The akuma begins to spin around itself with the bubble-blower in hand, generating many bubbles. These have more strength to come. It's a trap.

We both dodge them as we can, since we have nothing else to do.

But the bubbles don't crash to the ground, instead they change color to green and move violently in any direction. We don't escape from these.

They stick to us, they don't harm. The problem is that it makes it difficult for us to move, so they stick together even more and in the end they form a bigger blue bubble that surrounds both of us.

Nino approaches us with a smirk.

"Hawk Moth wants your miracle. He hasn't said you have to be alive. Like adults."

So we're really stuck with this amount of air. Jalil... And my father. I don't know if he's locked up.

"He is also an adult! And you are helping him." He's going against his motive to akumatize. He has to hesitate even a little.

His smile falls and his face twists in pure aggression. There is nothing of Nino here.

"You don't know that!"

The scream is followed by a kick that sends us to the sky. It's like a roller coaster ride, only without the fun part. It stops as suddenly as it started and we are left floating at high altitude.

I don't know what to do. This bubble is small, we don't have much oxygen. Jalil and my father don't have it either. They could be dead.

They dead. We dead. All dead.

And I can't do anything.

Near us there is another person imprisoned. She owns the room where Kim and I have been hiding. She is lying down, her eyes closed, limp. She dead.

"Do you know how to get out of here?" I ask Queen Bee, swallowing my fear. "We have to do it soon, if not, we will die like that woman."

She looks around us.

"What woman?"

"That." I point. "Don't you see?"

"I see her. She's not dead, just passed out. Which means that the bubbles have more transpiration than it seems. We can escape with your burrow."

A strong wind drags us towards the center of the city.

It must be Ryuko. She is getting better with her powers.

"My portals are bigger than this bubble. We wouldn't be free."

"Well, do it in mini. Aren't you supposed to be smarter than me? Prove it."

True. I draw the portals in the air, sometimes I think about them. I can make them any size I want. The bigger they have to be worse, but smaller...

We're sitting next to each other, I just have to do it right in front of us. It doesn't matter that I've already done one before, I'd rather get tired than die.

Taking into account the little margin I have, the portal is just the right size for us to enter one by one. I go first.

I walk feet first, like I'm going into a sewer, then use the walls of the bubble to propel myself up with my hands until I'm inside. I find myself lying on that invisible ground that seems to cover the entire burrow. The portal doesn't look so small from here.

I peek out again, still lying down.

"Quick, before..."

It happens very fast, however I see it in slow motion.

Queen Bee's eyes widen, she sees something I don't. The bubble she is in breaks and she falls into the void.

I lunge in front of her, trying to reach her and she reaches out for her arms, wanting to hold on to me. She doesn't get it.

She detransforms. Why? Why would she go back to her civil form at a time like this? She falls and falls until I'm out of sight. I have the feeling that she dies. Chloe isn't that stupid, she wouldn't do something like that. It's a hallucination.

I have them quite often. Some are absurd, others help me, and some are simply impossible. This is one of them, I should not be alarmed.

She won't die. She is protected by a kwami.

She's fine. It wasn't a magical attack, just gravity doing its thing. Mind you, it might sting a bit, since she was in a magical bubble.

Here, I see that I'm surrounded by adults, some awake and some passed out. Everywhere I look, there are adults everywhere. Ryuko has made it, gather them all.

The akuma must have noticed as well, since not far from here I see a bank of green bubbles.

I know where she is, so I'm going after Queen Bee again.

She is located in the northwest direction from where I was, surely nothing to do with the actual northwest direction.

We climb to the roof of

the building, I jumping between balconies and she using her spinning top. Arriving here, we find an incredible scene.

The akuma controls a good group of green bubbles, which shoot out in all directions, and redirects them back to whatever expels them. This is a cyclone, a rapidly spiraling column of air about the size of a person.

Awesome. It's Ryuko. She has managed to almost recreate a phenomenon of nature and the akuma can't do anything against her. She doesn't even realize we're here.

Queen Bee wraps the cord from her spinning top around it. We don't know what the akuma will do once trapped, though with Ryuko around, if he decides to free them and they fall, she can rescue them.

That's what she does once the green bubbles stop touching her. And that's what he does.

I take the bubble-blower from him and try to break it with my bare hands. I can't.

Nino tries to break free when he sees what I'm trying to do and Queen Bee struggles with him.

"Come on, break it!"

I don't have much strength in my arms, so I triy a second time. I step on one side and pull on the other.

After a few seconds I break and kills the butterfly that comes out of the object.

The people are fine. Adults have returned to their homes and most of the teens too.

Most of the class has stayed at the party no matter what Hawk Moth says. I'd like to say it's not for pity, but I can't deny it.

Adrien also seems sad and has been missing for a while with Nino. Namely, what they are talking about.

I've been exhausted since I detransformed. So, I've had a Monster and now I'm going for the second. I've not separated from the food table for a moment.

Kagami is here next door, alone, drinking what I assume is coffee. I don't know what for, she has only used the wind and she shouldn't be tired.

"Why do you think there are so few akumas on vacation?"

I have no idea. I don't imagine Hawk Moth as the kind of guy who does things just because. He must have a reason.

"What does you care? We are at a party. You have to have fun."

I finish my can of Monster. I haven't slept in the burrow and now I think it's a mistake not to have.

I'm gonna take advantage of this party, since I won't have another opportunity in my summer of studies.

"What type of lycée are you going to choose?" Another question from my friend.

What suits me best. Actually, I have no idea about my future.

"The general, and optional art and physical education. I wanna have all my chances at hand. And you?"

"The same, with the difference that as electives I have selected Latin and Greek."

Languages? She likes languages. I'm glad she's so clear.

Enough thinking about high school. When I get home I'll have to study, so now that I'm at a party I'm gonna dance. Also, I really wanna move. I suspect that the Monster is kicking in.

There's no music at the moment, since Nino hasn't appeared yet. It's okay, I just have to put something that he has recorded.

"Are you better?" Kim is here. Again. "You don't look sick at all."

He's sitting next to a speaker. I don't know how I haven't seen him before.

"Yes, I'm no longer nauseous."

I move my hands a lot. It must be the energy drink.

"I've seen you take two Monster." He seems annoyed, frowning and arms crossed. "I don't understand. If you didn't wanna be with me you could have told me to my face instead of lying.

Isn't true. I have no problem being with him. Well, yes when his girlfriend is there too, but that's something else.

I have taken him out of there and on top of that he reproaches me for not staying with him. He has no rights. Like when he wanted to know what was happening to me in my hands.

"Sure, cause you and I have always told each other everything, right? It's not like I'd have let you follow me with the risk that entailed, cause it was you," Especially against the akuma. "but I also have to tell you why I wanted to be alone."

That surprises him. He opens his mouth and shuts it tight.

I'm also surprised by what I have said. I just confirmed that I lied. He may be even more suspicious.

"If you don't want anything to do with me, you shouldn't have worn that shirt."

I haven't even chosen it. I'm not gonna say it, that would be worse.

"Uh…" And now Max. Cool. "Alix, I need to talk to you."

He comes up with an excuse to run away, so I follow him.

We go away from where everyone is, to the other side of the patio, where they don't see us well since it's getting dark.

"What?" I ask without special interest. I still think about the discussion.

"I heard your conversation."

I just wanted to dance. And now I'm gonna have to withstand with someone scolding me for the fight or whatever he's gonna do.

"I know why you separated from him and why you don't tell him."

What?

This isn't what I expected. Anything but this. This can't be.

He looks to the sides.

What I do? I never thought he'd find me out.

He has pretended not to see it and fallen for the lie completely.

He leans closer to me and whispers.

"You are Bunnyx."

Shit.

A/N: 1 I have already spoken of the French educational system and what I have found of its "bachillerato" (the spanish version) is very confusing to me. Apparently they have a general, a tech and a professional, and I don't know anything else. I have taken it from a guide for immigrants in France. For this, I am going to invent what their classes are like.
