"Is that Dawn?" Coordinator Ash said in shock, seeing a girl walk over with Trap Ash.

"Guys, this is Akira, a local villager and a part of the survey corps." Trap Ash said.

"Guess that's a no for Dawn." Seer Ash whispered.

"So Ashlynn was saying you guys were looking for a large tree right?" Akira asked.

"Yeah, I wasn't aware we were being public about that information." Pokemon Master Ash said looking angrily at Trap Ash.

"Well, I'm not sure if it's what you all are looking for, but there is a tree nearby in the Grandtree Arena, in the Obsidian Fieldlands." Akira said, as Pokemon Master Ash's Pikachu leapt into her arms.

"Sorry about that, he's usually better than this." Pokemon Master Ash said.

"It's fine, he's just friendly, see." Akira said, scratching Pikachu's head softly. "Anyways, I showed Ashlynn where the tree is on a map so they can check it out."

"Great we can go after breakfast." Ark said.

"Not so fast." A woman said walking up.

"Cyrus?" Trap Ash said in shock.

"I am Captain Cylene of the Galaxy Corporation. Chief Kamado informed me of the five of you becoming part of our Security Corps during your stay." Cylene said sternly. "While I understand that you have your own goals and missions to attend to, I will require that not all of you leave at the same time in case our village is attacked."

"If you don't mind me asking, what will be asked to do while we are here?" Ark asked.

"Guard the gates on either side of town, or escort members of the Survey Corps to various locations for their research." Cylene said. "And at times if some villagers are up to the task, train them in general Pokemon safety."

"Alright, sounds fair enough considering what you are doing for us." Coordinator Ash said.

"Here we are, breakfast for our new members." A man said walking up.

"It's you again!" Trap Ash said.

"Yes, my name is Beni, and I provide food for every member of the Galaxy Group." Beni said, setting down six plates of food.

"The five of you report to Captain Zisu, she is in charge of the Security Corps." Cylene said, pointing to a building to the west. "Whoever isn't going out should report there after breakfast."

"Alright, I say three of us stay behind." Pokemon Master Ash said. "I'll go with Ashlynn to look into this tree nearby and see if it's all that it's cracked up to be."

"Why should you get to go?" Coordinator Ash asked.

"Because I'm the only one of us that is holding cargo." Pokemon Master Ash said.

"I really hate to agree with him, but Dick might be right, and he should come along at least this time, just in case." Trap Ash said.

"You know you could just call me Richard or Rich." Pokemon Master Ash pointed out.

"I could, but I won't." Trap Ash said. "Now come on we're burning daylight."

A few hours later, at the Grandree Arena

"So why is this called an arena?" Pokemon Master Ash asked.

"No clue, Akira didn't say." Trap Ash said, looking around.

"And what is it you're looking for right now?" Pokemon Master Ash said.

"A way in. If this is an aura tree, and based on those fruits up there, it is. I should be able to ask it for help." Trap Ash said.

"And that's worked in the past?" Pokemon Master Ash said.

"A few times, but I need to be specific or I'll get overwhelmed." Trap Ash said, as he felt his hand slip through the bark. "Over here, I found the entrance."

Pokemon Master Ash went to the other side of the tree to find Trap Ash now with their arm inside of the tree.

"Are you sure this is safe?" Pokemon Master Ash asked.

"Certain, watch." Trap Ash said, walking the rest of the way in. "ALRIGHT NOW COME ON THROUGH!"

Pokemon Master Ash walked forward, only to his solid tree.

"Hey, it isn't working." Pokemon Master Ash said.

"Take a step back." Trap Ash responded, giving his counterpart a chance to move before he tried going back through, only to be blocked as well.

"Ash, you need to run." Trap Ash said.

"Call me by one of the code names I disagree on or it gets confusing." Pokemon Master Ash said.

"THERE ARE TWO OF US AND YOU NEED TO RUN!" Trap Ash exclaimed. "THE ONLY REASON A TREE LIKE THIS WOULD DENY ENTRY IS IF SOMETHING DANGEROUS WAS HERE!"

'BOOM!'

"Yeah, I think it's too late for that." Pokemon Master Ash said, as a claw was heard scraping against the rock walls of the arena. "Holy giant golden something…" Pokemon Master Ash said, as a Pokemon far larger than him walked around the tree, looking angrily at them.

"RUN!" Trap Ash shouted, looking for a way out.

"Pikachu use Thunderbolt!"

A bolt of electricity shot out at the creature, momentarily stunning it before swinging it's ax like hands right at the tree, causing the formidable plant to shake.

"Pikachu use Iron Tail!"

Pikachu leapt at the Pokemon, slamming his tail against the other ax, knocking it backwards as Pokemon Master Ash's eyes began to glow.

"Now use Volt Tackle!"

Pikachu sped forward, surrounding himself with electricity as he slammed into the giant Pokemon, causing it to tumble backwards and into a wall.

"There we go." Pokemon Master Ash said, as he noticed the golden energy forming a weak stream going from the creature towards him. "What in the?" He asked moving closer as the stream grew stronger before the energy was fully absorbed.

"What just happened?" Kamado asked rushing up with a group of people.

"Kamado!" Pokemon Master Ash exclaimed. "Look, I don't know what I just did, it attacked me and I fought back then I absorbed this weird golden energy and now… well that's it really."

"You managed to quell Kleavor's rampage." A boy with a cowboy hat said in surprise. "My name is Lian, of the Pearl Clan, thank you for calming him down, and removing that strange energy."

"Yeah, no problem." Pokemon Master Ash said. "Still not sure what I did though."

"The details don't concern us much right now, you were still able to save Kleavor." Kamado said.

"And who is she?" Pokemon Master Ash asked.

"I'm Iridia, the leader of the Pearl Clan." The blonde girl said. "I was on my way here to assist with the problem with Lord Kleavor when we saw you do whatever it is you did."

"Well, I'm glad I could help I guess." Pokemon Master Ash said.

"Come back to Jubilife Village, I would like to discuss some things with you still." Kamado said.

"Wait, but Ski… Ashlynn came here with me." Pokemon Master Ash said, going over to the tree.

"What are you doing?" Iridia asked.

"They went inside of here just before Kleavor appeared." Pokemon Master Ash said. "Hey it's alright to come out now!"

"He's talking to a tree." Lian whispered.

"They may be a strange group, but he did what none of us could combined." Kamado said. "I'm sure Ashlynn managed to escape and is on her way back to the village already. And if not she is more than capable of handling herself, but there are some things I would like to discuss with you in the meantime."

"Just, whatever you're doing right now, be safe." Pokemon Master Ash whispered to the tree as something fell from up above, landing in his hands.

"What is that?" Iridia asked.

"Where all creation was born, that is the being's place of origin." Pokemon Master Ash said, reading the light green tablet.

"Is that supposed to mean something?" Lian asked.

"I'm just reading what it says on the back." Pokemon master Ash said.

"The back of that is blank." Lian pointed out.

"No, there's this text." Pokemon Master Ash said, as the golden glow disappeared from his eyes and the words disappeared. "It's gone. Either way, these are what me and my cousins are looking for while we're here, objects just like this one."

"I will let the Galaxy Team know of this, Iridia can we count on the Pearl Clan to keep their eyes out for any as well?" Kamado asked.

"Of course, as long as they offer their help to our clan as well we will do what we can to assist." Iridia said.

"Great, then for the time being, lets head back." Kamado said, helping Pokemon Master Ash out of the arena.
