"You know you don't need to do this." Coordinator Ash said, as the group were back where they were storing the plates.
"I know I don't need to, but these plates are telling us things and maybe one of them will be useful." Pokemon Master Ash said. "Where's Ark by the way?"
"Sorry, sorry, I couldn't get him under control." Ark said, walking in with the Growlithe from the other day behind him.
"Weren't we supposed to take him back?" Seer Ash asked.
"I will, but we've been busy, plus it's fun having him around." Ark said.
"Another stray, alright let's see the plates." Pokemon Master Ash said, holding out his hand.
"Alright, here's the one that was umm…". Coordinator Ash paused.
"It's fine, he did what he could, and we might not have gotten both plates without his help." Pokemon Master Ash said, holding the Flame Plate.
Pokemon Master Ash's eyes began to get a golden glow as text appeared on the plate.
"The power of defeated giants infuses this Plate." Pokemon Master Ash said.
"Here here." Trap Ash said.
"I think Charizard was always meant to bring you that plate in the end." Seer Ash said.
"Let's just focus on the other plate, let me see it." Pokemon Master Ash said.
"Here you are." Coordinator Ash said, handing over the metallic looking plate.
"That which fills the other side of the world can shape the range and mold it." Pokemon Master Ash said. "What do you think that means?"
"It's referring to Giratina, more specifically the Distortion World." Trap Ash said. "It's a dark place, where the rules of reality don't apply, and Giratina is all powerful."
"You speak as if you've been there." Ark commented.
"Once or twice." Trap Ash said. "But that shouldn't matter, none of these plates have given us any clues to another plate or where Arceus is or how we even got here. I think this is just telling part of Arceus's story."
"What do you mean?" Coordinator Ash asked.
"Arceus created three Pokemon to rule over the powers of the world that he had created, one for space, one for time, and one for reality. Space is held together by the legendary Pokemon Palkia, without him, Kanto could be right outside our door. Time is governed by the legendary Pokemon Dialga, he controls the forward and the reverse flowing ss of time, a single roar could send us hurdling back to infancy. Finally we have Giratina, the lord of Reality, or he was supposed to be. Giratina was banished to the other side of the world when it was revealed that he would change things recklessly, his home is now the Distortion World where he is at his full power all the time." Trap Ash explained. "I've seen all three of them working together, the results are terrifying to say the least."
"What did you do to anger all three of them?" Seer Ash asked.
"I actually angered Arceus I think, by capturing and working with a Guzzlord." Trap Ash said.
"You caught a GUZZLORD!" Ark exclaimed.
"Yeah, long story." Trap Ash said. "But that's not what I'm worried about right now."
"What are you worried about?" Coordinator Ash said.
"Golden Boy has been looking up at the ceiling this entire time, what are you looking at?" Trap Ash asked, looking at Pokemon Master Ash.
"There's a trail. A golden trail, it's weak but it's there." Pokemon Master Ash said.
"All of our plates are accounted for." Seer Ash said, double checking the count.
"No, this ones further away, its heading out of town." Pokemon Master Ash said.
"Go with him Dragonite is our fastest flier, you should be able to see where it's going." Trap Ash said.
"Right, let's go." Seer Ash said, the two running out.
A bit later
"Are you sure this is the right way?" Seer Ash asked.
"Yeah, why?" Pokemon Master Ash asked.
"Because we're above the heart of the Crimson Mirelands." Seer Ash said.
"Nama." A voice giggled behind them.
"Drag!" Dragonite said spinning around.
"Enamarous." A pink Pokemon riding on a cloud giggled before blowing a kiss that knocked Dragonite to the swamp below.
"Ow, okay it's powerful. Dragonite use Hyper Beam!" Seer Ash said, pulling himself up from the mud.
"DRAGO!" Dragonite exclaimed, unleashing a powerful beam of energy at the Pokemon as they flew around, easily avoiding the attack.
The Pink Pokemon rushed forward, slamming into Dragonite tossing it around as if the dragon weighed nothing at all.
"Alight Pikachu get in there with an Iron Tail!" Seer Ash called out.
"You too Pikachu!" Pokemon Master Ash chimed in.
The two Pikachu raced forward, leaping into the air as Pokemon Master Ash's Pikachu struck first with a heavy blow, while Seer Ash's PIkachu got a few quick and lighter hits in, pushing the Pokemon back as a result.
"Okay, we're doing it, let's keep going!" Seer Ash cheered.
The winds picked up as the Pokemon rose into the air, going higher and higher.
"Or we're not, where is that thing going?" Seer Ash asked.
"I don't know, but it definitely has a plate, if we want to get them all again, we'll have to face that thing sooner or later." Pokemon Master Ash said, as the pink POkemon flew off.
Later back in Jubilife
"Sounds to me like you encountered one of the Forces of Nature." Trap Ash said, hearing their retelling.
"The forces of what?" Seer Ash said.
"Allow me." Rotomdex said, coming out of Ark's bag. "The forces of nature they're referring to are the following Pokemon. Tornadas the Flying type, Thundurus the Electric and Flying type, and Landeros the Ground and Flying type." Rotomdex said, showing photos of them.
"Yeah, except this one was slim and pink, which one is that?" Pokemon Master Ash asked.
"I've never encountered a pink one." Trap Ash admitted.
"Also it threw Dragonite around like he was nothing, I mean it was insane." Seer Ash said.
"It might be a fairy type then, they are known to be able to do that fairly easily." Ark said. "And you're sure it has a plate?"
"Positive." Pokemon Master Ash said.
"Great, because the scavenger hunt for these was too easy already." Coordinator Ash sighed. "So, where is our next plate location?"
"Well, I think we'll be sending these two out again, to scout ahead." Trap Ash said, pointing to the next group of plates on the map. "Professor Laventon was hoping we could help him out with some battle research so the three of us will stay here tomorrow."
"Sounds like a plan, I'm always up for a battle." Ark said with a chuckle.
