Hiccup and the others continue to make their way through the corridor, now looking for Toothless along with the others they've lost.
"I don't like this," said Eret.
"I wonder what could happen to them," Heather wandered. "It is certainly strange."
"Two of our best fighters disappearing into thin air, I would certainly call that strange," said Hiccup.
"There was nowhere for Toothless to go. He was right next to us," said Eret.
"The same could also be said, Ragnar," said Hiccup.
"Maybe this place is filled with secret passages, and that's how they're nabbing our crew?" Tuffnut suggested.
"And we saw zombies disguised as painting than a bear rug, for we know they could be disguised as anything here," said Ruffnut.
"All the more reason for us to stay close together and keep eyes and ears open," said Hiccup.
"There appears to be a large hall of the head," Heather noted.
Oinkchuck snickered as they entered the hall.
"I see, that's what it is," said Heather.
"Heather, are Astrid and the others here?" Hiccup asked as the others rushed over to her.
"No, but take a look at this room," said Heather. They looked around the hall, which felt as if they had stepped into a mediaeval jousting ring. "We should be outside once we pass through here."
"What is this place?" Ruffnut asked.
"Looks like some kind of arena," said Eret.
"It's actually a lot more complicated than that," Oinkchuck chuckled. "Oh, but don't worry about the details. You'll find out soon enough, as you have conveniently walked right into our trap!"
Eret suddenly looked up and saw a guy in a suit of armour falling towards him with his sword pointed down; he barely had time to jump out of the way.
"Eret!" Hiccup yelled.
"Who is that?" said Heather.
"Do you think that's Moria?" Ruffnut asked.
The night then rose to his feet, and they could see several spears sticking out of his chest.
"No, I'm afraid it's another zombie if it is able to move around with the spears sticking out of its chest," said Hiccup.
"So now the zombies are arming themselves," said Eret. "Great, as if this wasn't bad enough."
The knight then immediately launched himself at Eret swinging his sword, but Eret expanded his arms to form a shield blocking it. He then swung his fists, but he quickly dodged them and continued to press its attack, putting some real power behind his swings as he struck Eret's shield.
Eret then moved in with a powerful punch, but the zombie was able to block it with his shield and then came charging back in, sword raised. Eret was finding it difficult to avoid getting skewered he was becoming evident that this only was stronger than the others and much more skilled.
"Strong Right!" Eret roared, striking the zombie in the chest with a powerful right jab.
While there is only was one off balance, he then struck him with his other hand sending him flying, but the zombie quickly regained its footing. He then swung his sword in a reversed X formation and said powerful slashing attacks straight at Eret.
Fortunately, Eret was able to jump out of the way before it struck, a good thing he did as the attack created a deep cut in the stone wall behind him.
"Right through the wall?" Eret stared.
Eret then raised his hand, transforming his left hand into its cannon form. "So what if you can use a sword."
The zombies then rushed in towards Eret.
"Weapons Left!" Eret yelled and fired his cannon right in the face.
The blast was powerful enough to send the zombie flying backwards until it hit into the arena.
"Stop wasting my time, punk," Eret panted.
However, to his amazement, he saw that the zombie got right back up.
"Man, he's tough," said Tuffnut.
"He doesn't even look as if he's hurt," said Ruffnut.
That only then moved with incredible speed and was soon right in front of Eret, who quickly jumped backwards.
"What the hell?" he stared.
The zombie then swung his sword, and Eret barely had time to use his shield to block the attack. However, the zombie quickly swung his sword once more, striking him across his waist and causing him to fall to his knees.
"Did he just?" Hiccup stared.
"Impossible," said Heather.
The zombie then turned his gaze upon the rest of them, but Eret was down for the count just yet. He got back up and grabbed the zombie while his back was turned, squeezing his helmet.
"A little cut from a dead guy ain't going to kill me!" Eret yelled, tossing the zombie over his shoulder and back towards the arena.
However, once again, the zombie got back up.
"Stay down already," said Ruffnut.
"It's just as I thought these zombies were a different calibre to the ones we bought outside," said Hiccup.
Oinkchuck laughed. "Now you are no real terror; you will see what makes a zombie truly frightening."
They looked around at Oinkchuck, who was a bit of a distance away from where they had left him.
"Hey! Why are you over there?" Tuffnut asked.
"They don't even feel a hint of pain, they never get tired, and the Zombie Generals offer even more," said Oinkchuck. "They made quite a name for themselves in battle before they died and were brought back to life. Among them are a knight, a wicked criminal, a Samurai, a pirate and also a gunslinger. Just imagine the possibilities; these ruthless fighters combined the relentless power of the undead! Not a single member of your crew is going to escape this place! Give up; you're done."
"Get back a pig!" Hiccup yelled, dashing towards him.
"Wall Zombie!" Oinkchuck yelled.
Suddenly blocking Hiccup's path enclosing the passageway they came through was a wall with a zombie's face on it.
"He locked us in here!" Hiccup cursed.
"Then we can only move forward, but…" said Heather.
Suddenly appearing in front of them were good zombies they could only assume were the Zombie Generals. True to Oinkchuck's word, these zombies looked incredibly powerful and were certainly the unusual entourage.
"Speaking from experience when fighting one zombie general, I say that when pretty deep crap," said Eret giving his professional opinion.
"They certainly do look tough," Hiccup agreed.
"Try to take down these corpses one at a time doesn't seem like the way to go; trying to take them all at once seems like an even dumber idea," said Eret. "This ain't good."
"And this is even the fight we came in here for," said Tuffnut.
"And we're severely outnumbered," Ruffnut added.
"If we somehow managed to escape this hall, we'll most likely end up outside in the courtyard," said Heather.
"Then I suggest that we split up and meet up there, but be careful. I don't want anyone else to disappear, got it?" Hiccup ordered the transformed into his hybrid form.
"Got it," Heather smiled.
"Attack!" Captain John ordered.
Instantly the Zombie Generals charged towards them.
"Let's go!" said Hiccup as they took on their fighting stances.
"Yeah," said everyone.
Absalom, meanwhile, was chasing after Lola, who was looking for Astrid.
"Lola! Lola!" Absalom yelled. He eventually came to a stop when he couldn't find her. "Damnit, where did that warthog go?"
He then suddenly felt the ground shake, and bursting through the wall was Lola, who nearly ran him over. He turned around and saw that she had smashed through a number of other walls and began taking a left turn.
"Lola!" Absalom yelled.
Lola stopped and noticed him. "Absalover!"
She then came rushing towards him with her lips pressed together and attempted to kiss him in a rather violent way. Thankfully for him, he was rather quick on his feet and managed to avoid her lips from touching him.
"Cut it out, you crazy beast!" Absalom roared. "Don't you listen to a word I say?"
He then pulled out Astrid's wanted poster. "I told you this is the woman I'm going to marry!"
Lola stood there for a moment and then took the wanted poster crumpling it up into a ball, tossed it to the floor and began to stomp on it.
"Master Ab is mine… mine," she said determinedly. "That hussy brat will never have you!"
She then dashed away, wielding a pair of swords in search of Astrid.
"Lola, stop!" Absalom cried in vain.
"I'm coming for you!" Lola roared.
"Stop it, damnit! Don't do this!" Absalom roared.
Astrid, meanwhile, was rather confused by the fact that she had just been saved by one of the zombies.
"How shameless can you be attacking a defenceless woman while her back is turned!" the dog penguin yelled. He then promptly dealt a few powerful kicks to a few of the zombies, hitting them so hard that he knocked them out cold.
"What the heck is going on here?" Chopper frowned.
"Isn't that penguin one of the zombies?" Snotlout asked, confused.
"Did you notice his fighting style," said Astrid.
"I did, and the way that he talks reminds me of him as well," Fishlegs added.
"But it can't be…" Astrid frowned.
The other Wild Zombies were now starting to look annoyed.
"Hey, dumbass!"
"You're starting to piss me off, chum."
"You're fighting the wrong enemy, idiot! The girl is one of our targets!"
"Anyone who missed treat a lady is going to get a crash course of table manners from yours truly," said the Penguin. "Got that, you crappy zombies?"
"That dog penguin is him, sure that," said Astrid.
Perona, meanwhile, had reached the Night Fury with a group of zombies.
"The ship of the famous Dragon Riders Pirates, the crew that defeated Viggo and many others," she said excitedly. "Awesome, I can't wait to see what goodies they've got hidden here."
Toothless, meanwhile, found himself trapped in a coffin; he was unable to move as he was wrapped in webbing.
"Hey! Can anybody hear me?" Toothless yelled. "Let me out of here, dammit! Hey, cut me loose, you bastards! I can't see anything in here. Just where the hell am I anyway?"
Then someone removed the lid, and he saw a huge pale man in front of him.
"What's the big idea?" he asked.
The huge man was, in fact, Moria, who grabbed him and pulled him out of the coffin.
"Hey! What are you doing? Let go of me!" Toothless yelled. "You're dead, whoever you are!"
Moria ignored his threats and placed him on a piece of fresh spider thread, making him hang over the floor.
"What is this?" Toothless demanded.
Moria merely smiled as the spotlight shone behind Toothless, enlarging his shadow.
"What was that light?" Toothless asked. "Answer me, damnit!"
However, what Moria did next cause his eyes to widen in shock.
"What the?" Toothless gasped.
A second later, he fell unconscious, and he was tossed onto the floor next to an unconscious Ragnar.
Meanwhile, Hiccup and the others were having a hard time with the Zombie Generals.
"Strong Right!" Eret yelled, slamming his fist on the zombie centaur, whose lower half belonged to an elephant.
He then turned and looked at the remaining zombies. "You don't know who you're messing with!"
Two zombie knights were now charging towards Heather, but the twins quickly intercepted them and blocked their attacks with their swords. This gave Heather the time she needed to use her powers on them, along with the other zombies moving in for an attack.
"Thirty Flower!" she yelled.
Arms immediately sprouted around the zombies and instantly strangled them.
"Move it!" Hiccup yelled and swung his fist, sending a group of zombies flying, making an opening for them to escape. He then quickly looked at the others. "Now! Come on!"
Unfortunately, the zombies he took down got right back up again, along with the other zombies the others took down.
"Take down already; I don't have time for this, you damn zombies," Eret growled.
He then shot one of the zombies, even a few powerful, quick blows and the twins were having a hard time fending off the generals, but Heather assisted by strangling them with her powers.
"Clutch!" she yelled.
Hiccup swung a powerful fist sending a group of zombies crashing into the wall.
"Do yourselves a favour and stand down," he said.
Sadly, they didn't listen and got right back up again, and they continued to advance towards them.
"It doesn't seem like one making any headway," Heather observed.
"Damnit, kicking their asses over and over is going to wear me out," said Eret.
"I have a feeling that's their objective," said Hiccup.
"They just keep coming back," said Ruffnut.
"They're going to overwhelm us soon," said Tuffnut.
"Dragon Combat!" Hiccup yelled, swinging punches, kicks and his tail at the zombies in quick succession, sending them flying once more.
"One Sword-Style: 36 Calibre Phoenix!" a voice yelled.
A split second later, he saw a slashing attack heading straight for him, a particularly powerful one. He quickly jumped out of the way just in time to avoid it.
"That move," he said, recognising it as one of Toothless' techniques. "Toothless! You nearly hit me with that move! Watch where you're aiming!"
He then saw Toothless' silhouette stepping out of the dust and shadow, but on closer examination, he could tell that it wasn't Toothless. Whoever it was was definitely a drake, but his scales were mismatched of different colours, and his swords were not as refined as Toothless.
"Scars on the back of the shame of a swordsman, but I've got scars over my entire body," he said.
"You're definitely not Toothless, so who are you?" Hiccup demanded.
"My name is Deathbring," he said.
"Deathbringer?" Hiccup frowned. "I know those techniques anywhere they belong to Toothless, so how come you're using them?"
"I thought that you came here to fight, not to talk," he said as he inserted one of his three swords into his mouth. "You are my sworn enemy, and I'm going to cut you into little pieces."
"You're too much like Toothless for that to be a coincidence," said Hiccup.
Unfortunately, before he reacted, something pounced on top of him.
Eret, meanwhile, was still engaging with the Zombie Generals and almost got skewered by a lance.
"Bastard!" Eret yelled, punching the zombie back.
They quickly spun around, touching more zombies that came at him, he was able to overpower them, but he was wearing out and found himself completely surrounded.
"Holy crap, there's no end to these guys," he said.
Heather then came flying in swinging on a rope of arms with the twins holding onto her waist.
"Eret!" she yelled, extending her hand. "Quick, grab hold!"
Eret quickly grabbed her hand, and they all swung over the zombies. Once they hit the ground, they didn't stop, they made a beeline for the exit, and pretty soon, the zombies began chasing after them.
"It's no use. They're still coming!" said Eret
"Everything I read about zombies indicates that they're weak against fire," said Tuffnut.
"And you're basing this on what?" Tuffnut asked.
"I'm willing to try anything," said Eret, and he quickly spun around to face the zombies. "Fresh Fire!"
He then unleashed his fire breath at the zombies, and at first, it looked as if it was having an effect.
"Prepare the buckets!" said a zombie.
Instantly the zombies poured buckets filled with water on top of them, dousing the flames.
"No way!" Eret stared.
Then freed, the zombie shot right past him, heading straight towards heaven and the twins.
"Hey, look out!" he warned.
"How about some Eleven Flower…" Heather yelled, and arms immediately sprouted from the zombies. "…and Slam!"
The arms then immediately grasped the zombies and slammed them into the ground.
Unfortunately, more zombies began approaching them, so they quickly ran outside, but in all the chaos, they had lost sight of Hiccup.
"Where's Hiccup?" Heather asked.
"It looks like he was unable to make it out," said Eret.
"I lost sight of him with all the zombies swarming us," said Tuffnut.
"Same here, but I know he was fighting his own," said Ruffnut.
They all immediately came to a stop.
"You don't think… wait, you don't think that he disappeared too, do you?" said Eret as he looked back.
"It's a good idea to wait and find out," said Heather. "Those zombies will catch up to us any second."
"Hey, Dragon!" Eret yelled.
"Get me out of this thing!" Hiccup's voice yelled above them.
They looked up and saw, being dragged out on a chain was a coffin wrapped in spider thread. What was even more distressing was the fact that they could hear Hiccup's voice coming out of it.
"Is that coffin?" Eret stared.
"That voice, it's Hiccup!" said Heather.
"You mean he's inside that thing?" Ruffnut stared.
"And it looks like he's been taken into the main building over there!" Tuffnut pointed.
"We have to follow him!" Eret yelled.
"Right!" Heather nodded.
They all began to chase after the coffin.
"What are you doing in the box?" Eret yelled. "How in the world did you get yourself caught like that?"
"That's far enough," said a voice.
They immediately stopped as, blocking their as far as it was to believe was a giant spider monkey. It wasn't just a giant ape, it had an actual spider's body with a head and tail of a monkey, and its two front legs were monkey hands.
"Hey, hey, hey! Monkey, monkey, monkey!" he said. "All those stories you heard about spider monkeys, you're looking at one. That's me!"
"Giant spider," Heather gasped.
"Or is it a giant monkey?" Tuffnut frowned.
"More like a giant spider monkey," said Ruffnut.
"Whatever it is, it's damn big; it's a monster," said Eret.
"I'm warning you! Let me out of this box!" Hiccup yelled as his coffin entered the building.
A split second later, they heard something hit the floor.
"Ah, got another one," said the spider monkey.
"It sounds like it hit the floor," said Eret and then glared at the spider monkey. "Damnit, what are you punks going to do with him?"
The spider monkey merely smiled. "Oh, don't worry. You'll find out soon enough since you're going to be next, but I would be more worried about myself if I were you."
They turned their heads and saw the Zombie Generals closing in on them; they were completely surrounded.
"You've got me in front of you and all the warrior zombies closing in from behind," the spider monkeys smirked. "There's no escape. Prepare for annihilation!"
