Snotlout was now all alone, facing against Perona and her Wild Zombies.

"The negative ghosts' power had no effect."

"What kind of man is he anyway?"

'The Negative Hollows don't work against him,' said Perona. 'That is a make any sense; this has to be some kind of trick.'

Snotlout was confident that he could take Perona and a few of the zombies down, but there were just so many of them that they could easily swarm him.

'Damnit, they could have at least taken a few of those zombies down for me before they left,' Snotlout grumbled. 'I mean, I'm good, but even I can't take down this many zombies all by myself. I know I can easily beat this girl, but with this many zombies around is no way I can make it out of here alive.'

"This is impossible," said Perona. "No matter how I look at it, it's impossible. That last one must have been a dude; with this final attack, you will lose every last bit of your will to live. Now Quadruple Negative Attack! Negative Hollow!"

She then sent four ghosts flying directly at Snotlout; they passed straight through him, causing him to stumble.

"Holy crap, he took all four ghosts at once!"

Snotlout did look weakened after that attack.

"All right!"

"For as long as Breakneck Bog floated on the sea…"

"…there has never been a spirit that could not be broken by the negative ghosts."

However, to their shock, they found that Snotlout quickly stood up straight, proud and strong and that it was the negative ghosts and spirits who had been broken.

"The negative ghosts lost in his spirit?"

Perona will look broken as well. "Oh, Treacle, I am sorry for everything."

"Look, giving Mistress Perona is getting negative now."

"Who the hell is this guy? Is he the patron saint of arrogance or something? It's freaking me out!"

"Now you better listen to me because there is no one, anyone in this entire world, who can break my spirit," said Snotlout as he cracked his knuckles.

"What a terrible show of arrogance!" the zombies cried.

"For someone who's gotten pumped up, he's gotten smaller somehow."

"I think that's because he's backing away."

Snotlout then gulped.

"Get back here!" the zombie yelled, rushing over to him.

"Crap, they noticed," said Snotlout, and they quickly tossed the salt balls he was still holding.

His aim was perfect, and they landed directly into the zombies' mouths, causing the shadow is the fly out.

"Hey! Jerk!" Perona yelled as she got back up. "My animal zombies are too cute to die, so cut it out already!"

"Do yourselves a favour and stay away from me!" said Snotlout as he got ready to toss some more salt.

"It's salt! Watch out!" Perona yelled.

Snotlout then tossed the salt balls at the zombies, but they weren't going to fall for the same trick twice and quickly covered their mouths. After which, they immediately began to chase him around the room.

"Oh, come on, that's cheating!" Snotlout yelled.

Toothless and the others, meanwhile, were running through Perona's Wonder Garden.

"I never expected Snotlout's ego to come in handy during a fight," said Toothless.

"Yeah, that was a close one," Eret agreed. "If he hadn't been there, that would have been the end for all of us."

"But let's not tell him that; we don't want inflated ego as much as it already is," said Fishlegs.

The twins nodded in agreement.

"Pretty scary power; she's not there, that's for sure," said Toothless.

"Thanks to her, we wasting enough time; I need to find Astrid before that perv marries her," said Ragnar.

"Mind if I come along?" Fishlegs asked. "I took the liberty of bringing Astrid's stuff."

"Good thinking," said Ragnar.

"Best of luck, you two," said Eret.

Ragnar and Fishlegs then broke away from them and went on ahead.

"So, they do know where this wedding is taking place, right?" Toothless asked.

"Who knows, but I get the feeling of the wheel to find Astrid even without a map," said Eret. "Either way, we need to get the top of that mansion."

"Right," Toothless nodded.

"That with the skeleton guy is."

"Let's it's not too late," said Ruffnut.

"Yeah, the Zombie Generals are tough customers," Tuffnut nodded.

Skull was in the lab, still battling it out with Ryuma, the two of them were clashing blades against one another, not giving an inch. Though it was clear that Ryuma was being far more aggressive, Skull was a bit more focused on defence, and he was slowly pushing him back.

Then one of the attacks hit home, sending Skull backwards, and he hit the ground hard.

"So this is how it ends," said Ryuma. "Try to show a little dignity in defeat, all right."

Skull then pulled himself up, much to Ryuma's surprise. "You rise up like your Phoenix or around here a bit like a zombie. You will be able to stand much longer. I'll make sure you stay down for good this time; no more these pointless efforts to get your shadow back. Now tell me which part of that wretched body of yours you like me to sever with my Arrow Notch Slash?"

"Shut up," Snotlout growled. "You don't know the first thing about that technique. You have no right to speak its name."

Skull was worn out, and there were cracks deep within his skull, but he still didn't give in.

"I used to serve in my kingdom's Raiders Squad; the quick draw attack I was most skilled in was originally called the Requiem Lebanderole. However, my comrades in arms renamed it after my own sword-fighting technique. They called it Three Verse Humming: Arrow Notch Slash. Even if you share my personality and my fighting techniques, you haven't got my memories or the feelings attached to them! Which means you will not use that name!"

Ryuma laughed, looking amused. "Well, if those memories and feelings make you the real thing, why don't you do something about it? Come, take down the fake; this will be your last chance to do so."

Skull knew he was right, so we had to put everything he had into this last attack and hope that it would be enough. With all the strength he had, he rose to his feet and grabbed his sword.

The two swordsmen stood in front of one another and then slowly walked towards each other. They passed one another without even raising their swords.

"Sword Technique Three Verse humming…" they said in unison.

Ryuma then sheathed his sword. "Arrow Notch Slash!"

Skull then felt as if someone had just struck him with a sword, and with that, all the strength that had been in his body vanished. His sword fell to the ground, and he realised that he failed, not only himself or his crew but Laboon.

'Laboon…' he said as he collapsed. '… more than anything else, I just want to apologise to you. An apology from the depths of my misery. 50 long years in these dark waters drifting and drifting and all for nothing. Scarcely alive but too afraid to die. It's so lonely, my life… so lonely.'

Ryuma then approached him. "I'm waiting; tell me where you would like me to start cutting." He then drew his sword and grabbed Skull's arms, placing the blade against them. "Well, if you're not to choose, I'm going to have to choose for you, and I think I'll start with your hands."

There was nothing that Skull could do to stop him; he was completely at his mercy. However, before he could cut the hands, the entire building shook, causing Skull to roll back towards the door.

"What's going on?" Ryuma demanded. "The entire mansion is shaking!"

Toothless, Eret and the twins had been running through the corridors of the mansion when they felt the entire place shake.

"Whoa, what of all this mumbling?" Eret asked.

"Earthquake?" Tuffnut suggested.

"Tidal wave?" Ruffnut offered.

"Don't know, don't care, we have our own mission to focus on," said Toothless.

Eret then noticed the door to the lab. "Is that the door to the laboratory?"

She quickly skidded to a halt and saw Skull Lane there on the ground. "Look, there's the skeleton guy!"

The twins then turn round the corner.

"And there must be the zombie that Fishlegs and the others mentioned," Tuffnut pointed.

"And it looks as if he put the skeleton through the wringer," Ruffnut added.

Eret quickly rushed over to Skull. "Can you hear me? But I took quite a beating, but you are still alive, aren't you? Say something!

"Am I dreaming?" Skull groaned. "Why are you three here?"

Before either Eret or the twins could answer, they saw Ryuma approaching them.

"This won't do it all," he said. "How dare you try to interfere with our battle!"

He then launched himself at them, ready to strike them down with his blade, but Toothless jumped in and blocked it with one of his blades.

"Not so fast," he said. "Tell me, are you legendary samurai who slayed a dragon in ancient times? If so, I had been hoping to meet you."

It wasn't just the mansion that was shaking the entire island, leaving Hiccup completely puzzled.

"What the heck is going on here?" he asked. "This place is shaking like crazy!"

"If I were to guess, I say that the ship is probably being caught in some strange ocean current," Moria theorised. "And anyway, whatever the hell it is, I'm blaming everything on you. Oh, speaking of which, you're probably not here to chat, are you? Just tell me what you want already."

"I think you already know what I want after that little trick of yours with my shadow on that lamp," said Hiccup. "I'm here to take it back, along with Toothless', Ragnar and Skull's, as well as everyone else's shadows!"

"May your greedy one aren't you," said Moria.

"I am a pirate," said Hiccup.

"And how do you plan on achieving all that?"

"Obviously, by kicking your ass."

"Oh," said Moria and laughed.

Meanwhile, in the chapel, Absalom was finding it almost impossible to kiss Astrid due to everything shaking. Try as he might, he just simply couldn't lay his lips upon Astrid's as members of the time trying to take after her.

"What the hell is going on!" Absalom roared furiously. "I'm trying to give the closing kiss; it's kinda a big moment here!"

A Zombie General who had gone outside to check the commotion and then returned. "Master Absalom!"

"What is it? What's with all the shaking?" he asked.

"Breakneck Bog is caught up in some strange current! We're being thrown around all over the place! The whole island is shaking!"

"How did that happen?"

"Well, it's probably, because this Special Zombie is moving the rider without permission!"

"What did you say?"

Oars was indeed pulling down on the chain that connected the rudder, guiding the ship across the ocean.

"As I thought, this chain controls the rudder," he said. "With this should be able to set sail across the open sea!"

He continued to form the chain guiding the island &p out to see, causing the entire island to shake.

"Zombie Generals, listen up!" Absalom roared. "Move out, get out, find Oars and stop him no matter what!"

"Yes, sir!" said the Zombie Generals.

Oars was still pulling on the chain, but then he noticed the Zombie Generals approaching him.

"Oars!"

"That's enough out of you, Special Zombie Oars!"

"Bring him down, staff with the feet!"

"Yeah!"

However, before they even took a single step, Oars vanished into thin air.

"What the?"

The Zombie Generals then rushed over to the place where he vanished, but there was absolutely no trace of him.

"He disappeared? Where did he go?"

"How could something that big just—?"

"There's no place for him to hide."

They continued looking around for Oars, but they just couldn't fathom how he disappeared into thin air. However, Oars had, in fact, he had jumped very high into the air, and now he was coming down right down on top of them.

"There here is, above us!"

"Dragon…" he said as he raised his fists. "…Combat!"

He then rained his fist down upon the Zombie Generals with overwhelming speed and power, completely crushing them. Once he was done, all of the Zombie Generals lay there on the ground, smashed to pieces.

"Never get between a captain and his ship!" he roared.

The zombie soldier immediately gave a report to Absalom; he just couldn't believe it.

"Annihilated? You mean the entire group that just left here?" he said, stunned.

"Yes, sir. They were squashed flat, all of them."

"But that's impossible! Those guys are the strongest zombie division on the island… the Zombie Generals!"

"Yes, and he took them out instantly."

Absalom stared in disbelief. "That can't be… isn't Oars supposed to be on our side? And why is he reporting against us? Zombies are made to be obedient; it's in their nature. We can't let him keep up all this rampaging around. If we don't find a way to stop him, he'll sink the whole island."

"My, it certainly sounds as if you have a problem on your hands," said a voice.

Absalom looked up and saw standing in the doorway was Ragnar.

"But I'm afraid you have another problem facing you at this moment," said Ragnar with a smile.

"Is he one of the Dragon Riders Pirates?" said Absalom and growled with frustration.

Meanwhile, Toothless had just managed to block Ryuma's attack. Ryuma then tried to strike him once more, but Toothless saw this and quickly counted the move with a strike of his own. Ryuma then quickly retreated, putting a bit of distance between the two of them.

"Amazing," said Skull looking astonished. "He was able to fend off Ryuma's attack. I didn't know he was so strong."

"He's the Three Sword Style pirate swordsman of the Dragon Riders; you better believe he's strong," said Eret.

"Only one person has ever been able to beat him in a sword fight," said Tuffnut.

"That's right, he cut all other opponents down," said Ruffnut.

"It looks like he's itching for a fight," Eret noted and looked at Skull. "If your pride would allow it, I think it was planning on getting your shadow back for you. What do you say?"

"My shadow? Really?" said Skull. "Yes, do what you need to do to get my shadow back, I beg of you."

"No need to beg; I'll get your shadow back," Toothless assured him and turned his eyes back to Ryuma and looked at his sword. "That's an interesting sword you've got there; it's known as a katana if I'm not mistaken."

"You have good eyes," said Ryuma. "Yes, this is indeed one of the 21 legendary swords of the highest grade. A famed black blade with a reversed wave temper line, it is known as the Autumn Wind. Consider yourself fortunate to cast your eyes on it."

"So it is one of the legendary swords," said Toothless. "You're right. I am lucky, though I did expect you to have a good blade given that your samurai and all. That settles it; I'm going to beat you and take that sword as my own."
