Hiccup had just landed a blow on Moria which infuriated him to no end. He was no longer lying on the ground and made his way to the hole in the gangway that Hiccup had just made.
"That hurt, damn brat!" he roared as he looked down at Hiccup, who was hovering below. "But you're going to hurt worse! You hear me!"
Hiccup merely smiled. "Oh, I hear you, and it's nice to see that you're taking this seriously. Now Dragon Fist!"
Hiccup launched himself upwards, clenching his fist, but Doppleman suddenly appeared and knocked him back. A split second later, he then began wrapping himself around Hiccup, trapping him in place.
"Hey, let go of me!" Hiccup yelled.
"Fine! As you wish!" Moria roared. "Go, my Brickbats!"
Doppleman then began breaking apart into bats.
"This again," said Hiccup.
Hiccup once again found himself lying around the fridge as the bats began chasing him, but this time quickly spun around and opened his mouth.
"Plasma Blast!" he yelled, climbing a plasma blast directly at the bats.
Moments later, there was an explosion that caused all the bats to crash into the walls. However, they quickly reformed it back into Doppleman, and Moria laughed.
Hiccup was getting exhausted; this happened every single time. Moria created a shadow to protect himself, had it turn into bats to swarm him and then every time he destroyed the bats, they just reformed back to Doppleman.
"This is pointless," said Hiccup.
Meanwhile, Snotlout was having his own problems with Perona, who somehow found a way to fly.
"Okay, you're flying," said Snotlout. "That's not what I expected. You're awfully brave all of a sudden; I had you running scared a minute ago. Where did all this confidence come from, huh?"
Perona laughed. "I just got a little nervous back there, and I panicked. I never dreamt there was a person so arrogant that they would be immune to my ghosts."
"Do you honestly think you're safe from me just because you can fly," Snotlout laughed. "I've got a pretty throwing arm, I may not be as good as Ragnar when it comes to accuracy, but I can outpace him when it comes to strength."
He then grabbed a large chunk of rock and prepared to toss it like a baseball. "Now it's time for you to say goodbye!"
He then stopped when he saw that Perona had vanished.
"Wait, she's gone already?" he said. "What the hell? What happened? Where did she go?"
"Right behind you," Perona laughed.
Snotlout turned around and practically screamed as Perona was indeed behind him, but she had grown roughly 10 times as big.
"Go on, try to hit me. I made it easy for you," she smiled.
"What the hell kind of monster are you?" Snotlout stared.
Perona just laughed.
"No matter, here goes," said Snotlout.
He then tossed the rock directly at her, but she then suddenly shrunk down back to normal size and avoided the attack.
"What?! She's back to her normal size?" Snotlout stared.
Perona began floating around laughing.
"Fine, then have a taste of this," said Snotlout as he raised his fist. "Iron Hammer!"
He swung his fist at Perona, but she merely swirled out of the way, causing him to miss completely.
"Something wrong?" she teased as she floated around. "I thought you were supposed to be strong or something."
Snotlout kept swinging his fists at her, but he just couldn't seem to land a punch. A split second later, she appeared directly in front of him and plunged her hands right through his chest, causing him to scream.
"Your hands?" he gasped. "You stabbed them right through my chest! They're inside me! It hurts so much I can't even feel it! I'm going to bleed to death! Stop, don't; I'm important! That's it! I'm a dead man! I'm done for!"
"Idiot," said Perona. "Look a little closer. My hands are inside you, but your skin is not even punctured. You aren't hurt at all yet."
Snotlout looked absolutely terrified, much to her amusement.
"I see the horror of this situation has sunk in," she said. "Let me reassure you that you're still on the verge of death. Do you feel it? I am mere inches away from wrapping my fingers around your heart and squeezing it until it pops."
"I'm begging you! Please don't make my heart pop!" Snotlout begged. "The world cannot survive without me!"
"I think the world can survive without you. Now writhe in beautiful agony and die."
Snotlout was now on the verge of tears. "Please stop! Please, I don't want to die!"
Perona then squeezed his heart, but he was absolutely fine.
"Yeah, I can't really do any of that," she said, pulling her hand out of his chest.
"You were bluffing?!" Snotlout roared.
"Come on, just think about it. If I could actually crush your heart like that, you would have been dead the moment I stuck my hand inside your chest."
"I think I might have wet myself," Snotlout panted.
"My hands even go anywhere near your chest; they just pass right through it," she said.
Snotlout then saw that the top of Perona's head was sticking out of the floor, causing him to scream. She then laughed as she floated out from the ground.
"Even though my body might look just as solid as yours, I passed through anything you can think of as if it was nothing there."
Snotlout quickly snapped out of his feet and raised his fist. "Iron Hammer!"
He then swung his fist and passed right through her body, and then she dived at him. Moments later, her legs were sticking out from his back, and her right hand had passed right through his mouth.
"You weren't listening to me, were you?" she said.
"Please stop it; this is just gross," said Snotlout.
Perona ignored him. "If I passed through anything, what makes you think your attacks will hit me?"
Snotlout screamed and began trying to hit her, but she merely flew around laughing.
"Get back! Get away from me!" he yelled frantically. "Go away, damn you! Leave me alone. You're freaking me out!"
"What you're planning now?" Perona asked. "You can't harm me with any of your feeble attacks."
"Shut up!" Snotlout spat. "If you—if you were only bluffing earlier when you threatened to crush my heart, and you were, that means as big as you talk, you can't even touch me! I might not be able to attack you, but you can't attack me, either! Isn't that right?"
"Mini Hollow!" said Perona, and two miniature ghosts appeared out of her hand.
"What are you going to do with those?" Snotlout blinked.
He then watched as one of the ghosts floated past him and touched the wall next to him.
"And Ghost Wrath!" she said, snapping her fingers.
The ghost then exploded, taking a huge chunk out of the wall, much to Snotlout's horror.
"A shockwave," he said and then saw the second ghost was now touching his shoulder. "Get off me! Get away! Get off of me, you tiny exploding ghost thing!"
"Ghost Wrath!" said Perona snapping her fingers once more.
The ghost then exploded, sending Snotlout backwards.
"Why you," Snotlout growled as he picked himself up. He then charged at her once again, raising his fist. "Iron Hammer!"
However, his attacks merely went right through her, but he kept on running the moment he went through and turned round the corner.
"Damnit!" he cursed. "This is so not fair. None of my attacks can touch her, but she can hurt me with a snap of her fingers? I'm not sticking around for this."
Perona managed to catch up to him and went straight through his body, and floated directly in front of him.
"Get out of the way!" Snotlout yelled. "I can't see with you there; move it! Move!"
A split second later, he ran straight into a pillar and Perona when through it harmlessly. Then to make matters worse for him, more of those mini ghosts clinging onto his body.
"And Ghost Wrath!" said Perona snapping her fingers, causing the ghost to explode all over Snotlout.
If that wasn't bad enough, Treacle had finally got past the wall of flames, and he was super mad.
"That was a dirty move," he growled. "I'm even more mad than I was before."
'I should have known better,' Snotlout groaned. 'It's just one embarrassment after another. How could I lose when I had the advantage?'
He then looked up and, to his horror and saw Treacle standing above him, raising his razor-sharp paw.
"The bear!" Snotlout panicked.
"I'd be careful," Perona advised. "Treacle is much stronger than the average bear, you know."
Treacle then swung his paw down upon Snotlout and hit him so hard that he slammed against the floor, causing it to crack.
'This is impossible,' Snotlout groaned. 'How could I be beaten by a girl and her teddy bear?'
Treacle wasn't done with any just yet and continued to pound him with his bear paws relentlessly.
'This was my moment to shine, to show that I could be better than Hiccup and the others. This can't be how it ends, me being pounded to death by a teddy bear. If I don't win this, that girl is going to capture everyone else and completely wipe out our crew. I thought for once I could be the hero, but now I'm the one who needs saving. Please help me…'
Treacle raised his paw, ready to deal the final blow, but Snotlout suddenly jumped into action. In a split second, he wore his wrestling mask, jumped at Treacle, removed his mask and plunged his hand into his mouth, forcing salt down his throat.
'…save me, Master Wrestler!'
Perona just stared in horror at what had just happened.
'Tell me, Masked Wrestler, what would you do here?'
The shadow within Treacle then began to shoot out of his mouth, and Snotlout then jumped away from his body.
"Treacle!" Perona screamed as he fell to the ground. "Bastard! How dare you harm my sweet Treacle, and what the hell that stupid mask you've got on?"
"You're looking at the feet of your doom," said Snotlout panting. "It's a pleasure to meet you; I am the one and only Master Wrestler."
"You're the exact same guy; you're just wearing a mask!" Perona yelled.
"Gotta go," said Snotlout and took off.
"You're just going to run away?" Perona stared.
"Of course, I'm running," said Snotlout. "What's the point of fighting a back guy I can't win? I can only win fights. I know that I stand a chance of winning; that's why I never lose."
'So you're just going to give up? Calm down; you just have to fight Snotlout.'
'Shut up; I've given all I've got. There's no way I win against her.'
'You know that's not true; I know you're the kind of man that can win this.'
'What history are you basing that on?'
'None.'
'That's terrible motivation!'
"Mini Hollow!" said Perona conjuring up some miniature ghosts.
'Regardless, think carefully, Snotlout. Don't you find her behaviour a little odd?'
'Yeah, that's been bugging me. Especially how she got so confident all of a sudden. She was completely terrified of me and running for her life back there.'
The mini goats then began to attach themselves to him.
'If she was impervious to my attacks all along, there was no point running from me like that. She could have just flown away or walked right through one of the walls, but she didn't. All she did was run away, screaming at the top of her lungs. What was she freaking out about if I hit her? That's it!'
"Wrath! Wrath!" Perona yelled as she snapped her fingers, causing the ghosts to explode.
Snotlout collapsed and his mask fell to the floor, but his mind was still working on the problem. 'Something changed the moment I lost sight of her. So the question is, what happened?'
Perona then enlarged herself and looked down upon Snotlout, laughing.
"Try to remember," Snotlout groaned. 'I got wrapped up dealing with that stupid zombie bear, and that's when it happened. Right when I lost sight of her, but what was it?'
"Well, I guess I had better hand you over to Moria now," said Perona.
'That's it!' said Snotlout and began looking around. 'I've got it! Look carefully; this got to be someplace to hide around here. Like a trapdoor or a hidden room…"
His eyes then fell upon a door which might have been some sort of storeroom, but the bunting over it said otherwise.
"A room!" he said and began to channel all his strength to get back up. 'I've got you; I'm on to your tricks.'
Perona then returned to normal size. "What? Are those your last words?"
Snotlout managed to pick himself up and looked towards the door.
"Wait, what do you think you're doing?" Perona asked, panicking slightly.
"I'm just gonna bust down a door," Snotlout smirked.
"No, hang on!" Perona cried.
"Atlas Hammer!" Snotlout yelled, launching himself at the door and channelling all his strength into his fist.
He then slammed his fist against the door so hard that he knocked it off its hinges, as was a good portion of the doorway. Perona stared, shocked, as a hidden bedroom began to reveal itself behind the door and sitting there on the bed was Perona.
"Just as I suspected," Snotlout smiled. "There it is; I found your real body Ghost Girl."
