Five minutes earlier, at Hogback's lab, both Toothless and Ryuma were about to clash.

"So you think you can take my black blade Autumn Wind, away from me, do you?" said Ryuma looking somewhat amused.

"Oh, I'm taking it," said Toothless. "I'm about to cut you down and wrench it from your cold dead body."

"Oh, I see. Feeling cocky today, are we?"

"You know it's not a good idea to provoke," said Skull.

"It looks to me that you already have three swords," Ryuma noted.

"True, but one is broken, and I've gotten used to carrying three, so it feels weird not to," said Toothless. "You see, I used Three-Sword Style."

"Three-Sword Style? Never heard of it. Is it a circus act?"

"No, it's nothing like that, I assure you. It's too bad I wish I could show you, but I'll just beat you with two swords."

"Interesting; I sense that you're very skilled. A feeling that I have long forgotten this one out inside of me once more. It's like I'm facing some sort of beast, a savage animal, with strange sensations going deep in my bones that make me feel as if I'm dancing on air."

Toothless then launched himself at Ryuma, swinging both his swords down at him, and he quickly blocked the strike with his own blade. Eret and the others could feel the shockwave from where they were.

"That's shockwave," said Skull stunned.

Seconds later, the two of them broke away from one another on the ground beneath them before the rippled as if it was water.

"Aubade Coup Droit!" Ryuma yelled and thrust his sword forwards.

Toothless swung his sword and quickly leaned back, avoiding the attack, which continued until it hit the wall taking a large chunk of it out.

"Hang on, he's got a gun!" Eret yelled.

"It's not a gun," said Skull. "It's a thrust; it's one of my techniques, but when I use it doesn't do nearly as much damage."

"He made a hole right through the wall," Eret gasped.

"Only a true master swordsman could do something like that," said Ruffnut.

"Yeah, we could never do that ever," Tuffnut nodded.

"To have a fly just like that it's just incredible," said Skull.

Ryuma chuckled. "I suppose it's a tie then."

"Yep," Toothless agreed.

Then suddenly, a huge slash appeared over the wall behind Ryuma, much to the shock of Eret, Skull and the twins.

"Very close; you almost sliced me in two," said Ryuma.

"What the heck? A counter-attack?" Eret stared. "But when he had time to do it?"

"About the same time, I think," Skull theorised. "So this swordsman can project his attacks as well; this exchange of blows is truly a tie. That samurai zombie is using the power of my shadow to move around right now, but before his death must be an incredibly strong man. Which means the combination of his strength and my technique makes him quite formidable indeed."

"Are you trying to say those two are dead even?" said Eret.

"I'm saying that these two swordsmen have an incredible amount of destructive power at their command, and as such, I don't think this fight will last long."

"Yeah, but will we survive long enough to see its end," said Tuffnut.

"No kidding, but no matter what happens, are not taking my eyes off this fight," said Ruffnut.

Almost instantly, the two swordsmen launch themselves at one another before turning around to strike.

"Prelude: Au Fer!" Ryuma yelled and began thrusting his sword at Toothless with incredible speed.

Toothless block the attack with his blades but immediately realises intent. 'He's trying to break my swords.'

Toothless realise to give you back and immediately go on the offensive. "Two-Sword Style: Flash!"

He then swung his two blades at exactly the same time, both deflecting Ryuma's attack and attacking him. Sadly he was able to avoid the blades, and soon, the two of them were back-to-back against one another.

Toothless spun around, swinging both blades, but Ryuma spun around himself and blocked the attack with his own blade. The two of them then immediately jumped back, and Toothless launched himself into the air, pointing his swords downwards.

"Demon Bear!" he yelled.

He put his full body weight into the attack, and when Ryuma found himself being pushed back until he hit the wall. However, he immediately counter-attacked, thrusting his sword at Toothless, who was barely able to avoid the attack.

Toothless quickly jumped back, and Ryuma dashed forwards raising his blade. "Gavotte Bone En Avant!"

Toothless quickly placed both swords into his sheathes. "Two-Sword Style: Draw Rush!"

Seconds later, Ryuma appeared directly behind Toothless, who still had his swords in their sheaths.

'She took the hits,' Toothless gasped.

Ryuma stood there wincing.

Eret and the others just continue to watch to see what happens next.

Suddenly a massive slash mark erupted throughout the entire building.

"They cut right through the pillar!" Eret asked.

The ceiling looked as if it was going to give way at any moment.

"This floor is going to break apart," said Eret.

"We should count ourselves lucky that it hasn't already," said Tuffnut.

"I'm surprised the place is still standing," said Ruffnut.

Toothless and Ryuma turned round to face one another once again as the lab fell apart around them.

"That is, we're out of here," said Eret as he grabbed Skull. "Hang on, this place is falling to pieces."

Neither Toothless nor Ryuma seem to care about this as they continue to clash.

"72 Calibre Phoenix!" Toothless yelled, swinging his sword.

He unleashes a slashing attack, but Ryuma was able to run ahead of him in the end up, just cutting right through the wall.

"Polka Remise!" Ryuma yelled, thrusting his sword at Toothless, pelting him with airstrikes.

Toothless managed to deflect them with his blades and began cutting through the wall.

"Weapons Left!" Eret yelled, firing his bazooka at the wall.

This created an opening for him and the twins to get outside, but it also made the entire building unstable. Both Toothless and Ryuma soon found themselves outside the slowly crumbling lab.

"That was a close one," said Eret as they landed outside on the roof.

"They're still going at it," said Tuffnut.

They looked up, and sure enough, they could see the two running up to the top of the tower. Once there, they immediately clashed and tried to overpower the other as if playing king of the hill. However, neither one of them could overpower the other and ended up sliding down the tower.

"Watch out, you're going to fall!" Skull warned.

However, the two of them found a workaround and immediately ran across the side of the tower and immediately engaged with one another. Toothless nearly lost his footing when he tried to avoid a thrust from Ryuma and ended up sliding down the tower.

"Crap, I'm going to slip!" Toothless yelled and immediately plunged his sword into the tower to stop his descent.

He then promptly ran back up towards the tower, and Ryuma ran down towards him, but Toothless ran past him and kept on running upwards, forcing him to chase after him. Ryuma unleashed his thrust strike technique, but Toothless was able to jump out of the way to avoid it. He then swung his sword downwards, barely giving Ryuma enough time to block it.

With a sword still locked, they then began running across the side of the tower and continued their clash. It was impressive that the two of them were able to fight on the edge of the tower, despite not having a proper foothold.

"Even without a foothold," Skull gasped.

Finally, they backed away from one another, and while it was clear that they were evenly matched, Toothless knew that he had the disadvantage.

'If this goes on much longer, my swords are going to break,' he said. 'This guy doesn't just have the strength of that legendary samurai; he's got his wits too.'

Toothless, then sheathed his blades, but a split second later, Ryuma slashed right through the top of the tower with his katana. For a brief moment, it looked as if he had gotten Toothless, but he was able to save himself by launching into the air and plunging his sword into the top of the tower to hold himself in place.

Toothless then dislodged his sword and immediately rushed towards the top as the tower began to topple. Once there, he immediately jumped into the air and gripped his sword firmly.

"One-Sword Style: Flying Dragon!" he yelled and died right down at him.

Ryuma then launched himself into the air to meet him midway. "Two Verse Humming: Arrow Notch Slash!"

"Blaze!" Toothless yelled.

Both their attacks clashed midair, and it looked as if both attacks hit one another. However, Ryuma showed no signs of pain while Toothless filters his entire body screaming. Then suddenly, Ryuma burst into flames, much to his surprise.

"What? The wound caught fire?" he stared.

Ryuma landed on the remains of the tower while Toothless hit the ledge of the tower.

"My defeat," said Ryuma.

He then turned and looked down at Toothless, who was panting heavily, completely exhausted.

"The legendary owner of this blade may have long been since fallen, but its story does not end here," he said as he held out his sword. "With you as its master, this sword will surely be satisfied."

"You hear that? It sounded like the samurai said something," said Eret. "I can understand him. What the hell is going on here?"

"What's going on?" said Skull. "In short, it looks like the battle between them is over. I have seen many fights in my life, but none quite like this. That samurai scarcely used a fraction of his strength when he was fighting me."

"Huh? You mean the fight is over now," said Eret looking at him.

"Such an impressive battle," said Skull.

"But who won?" Ruffnut asked.

"Yeah, I can't tell," said Tuffnut.

Ryuma then sheathed his sword and removed it from his belt, and dropped it. Toothless immediately caught the sheathed katana as he managed to pick himself up.

"This body of legendary samurai, how shameful of me to allow it to know defeat," said Ryuma stumbling.

"As long as you feel shame, it's enough," said Toothless. "Your true swordsman in body and spirit, aren't you? I wish I could have met you in your era."

Ryuma merely smiled and then suddenly shot out of his mouth with his captured shadow. Skull sat up as he saw the shadow heading straight towards him, and then immediately we attached to his body.

"Is that…?" Eret asked.

"Yes, yes, exactly," said Skull cheerfully. "My shadow, stolen by Moria five years ago, has finally returned." He then looked at his shadow as it began to mimic everything his body did. "I have to admit it strange seeing my shadow do everything my body does."

"I suppose I would find it strange too if I had been shadowless for five years," said Ruffnut.

"Especially considering that it's attached to a skeleton who had died 50 years ago," Tuffnut nodded.

"Yes, I get my blood pumping even though I don't have any blood being a skeleton and all," Skull laughed.

Eret and the twins then joined in.

"It's back! Finally, after five long years, my shadow is finally back!" said Skull.

Toothless turned his eyes to Ryuma's burning body. "I'll take this sword like I said, but let's pretend this fight never happened, samurai from Wano."

Ryuma continued burning until it became ash and was then scattered by the wind.

Snotlout, meanwhile, was still running through the main part of the mansion, rather excited that he had won his fight.

"I wonder if Ragnar and Fishlegs found Astrid; maybe they've even rescued her by now. And what are Hiccup and the others up to? Either way, for now, I just need to find them and tell them that I beat that crazy Ghost Girl that none of them could stop. I really should brag about it, but I am gonna! Oh man, I can't wait to see the look on all their faces when I tell them!"

He then stood there lapping triumphantly, but then he heard voices further down the corridor.

"Mistress Perona!"

Snotlout stopped laughing and saw many Wild Zombies rushing down the corridor. Panicking, he quickly decided that the best course of action was to hide and immediately hid behind a suit of armour.

"You think she's okay?"

"Of course, she is Captain Treacle, and Lieutenant Hippo Gentlemen went back her up! I bet the old taking turns pummelling that guy right now!"

Once they ran past and disappeared, Snotlout emerged from behind a suit of armour and gave a sigh of relief.

"Holy crap, close on," he said. "If those guys had caught me, I wouldn't just lose the battle; I would have also lost bragging rights." He then continued to run down the corridor and search for his crew. "Ragnar! Everybody!"

Outside, a group of zombies had gathered to see the utter devastation of their comrades.

"What happened?"

"Aren't all these guys supposed to be attending Master Absalom's wedding ceremony?"

"This is all that Special Zombie's doing," said Hildon as he flew down. "Before the ceremony was complete, they received orders from Master Absalom to assemble and stop Oars, but they were annihilated as soon as they engaged him."

"That's nonsense!"

"Even if he is a Special Zombie, he's still one of us. Why would he attack his own comrades?"

"Well, don't forget Oars was only recently turned into a zombie," Hildon reminded them. "It seems that some of Dragon's will is still strong inside them. His lack of obedience combined with his massive size is quite the nuisance, but he'll come around."

"Wait, so you're saying he wiped out the Zombie Generals like it was nothing?"

"Correct."

"They must have had their guard down; there's no other explanation for it."

They then felt the ground shake and turned to see Oars heading their way.

"If you guys don't hurry up and make a run for it as fast possible, then Oars is going to wipe you out too!" Hildon warden immediately took off. "I know I'm leaving!"

"Shut your mouth, Hildon! How dare you underestimate us, you little coward!"

They then immediately turned back to face Oars.

"Damn monster, how dare he do that to our comrades."

"We have our orders, troops! Master Absalom was very specific; there's no need to hold back! Now let's uphold our reputation as the strongest division and show Oars what we can do! He cannot make a mockery out of us!"

They all nodded in agreement and drew their weapons as Oars entered the courtyard. However, when he was right on top of the zombies immediately faulted and intimidated by his sheer size, but they still could not disobey their orders.

"All right, get him!"

"Yeah!"

"Get out of my way!" Oars roared and raised his fist.

The zombies immediately panicked as they were certain that he was about to attack them with all his strength. Hildon, who was observing from afar, closed his eyes as he had a mental image of Oars wiping other zombies like earlier. However, he didn't hear the attack, and when he opened his eyes, he found that Oars had stopped.

"Oh yeah, I can't," he said grudgingly. "I have to get back fast."

Hildon and the zombies just watched as he walked away, not sure what had just happened.

Hiccup, meanwhile, was still battling Moria or, rather, his shadow. No matter how many times he attacked, the shadow just regenerated, and he was starting to get tired.

"Aw, what's wrong?" Moria asked. "You tired, Dragon, all done?"

"Tough talk from someone who hasn't launched a single attack," said Hiccup.

"I thought I already told you I'm going to become the King of the Pirates without lifting a single finger. And with all these powerful new minions, that seems quite possible, I say."

"I don't care how I do it, but I can take back every last shadow you've stolen!" Hiccup vowed.

"What? That again?" said Moria tiredly. "We've been through this for quite a while already."

"No matter how long it takes, I'll take you down, both you and your stupid shadow," Hiccup promised.

Hiccup then swung his fist at Doppleman, but he quickly jumped into the air and then performed a body slam on top of him. However, when it picked itself up and looked beneath it, it discovered that Hiccup was gone.

Hiccup had managed to break through the gangway and hover beneath it. He quickly took off, shooting past the shadow and heading straight towards Moria, but Doppleman grabbed his leg and pulled him back before slamming him into the ground.

"Listen, not that I care, but you don't look so good," said Moria. "I really wouldn't keep this up if I were you, and if you don't get out of here soon, my backup might arrive."

Hiccup ground in frustration at the same time Oars was making his way back to the mansion.
