Oars was going on the offensive again; this time, he was attacking from the air.
"Dragon…"
"Here he comes!" Toothless yelled.
"…Fist!" Oars roared.
His first suddenly extended straight at them, knocking them back. They were able to avoid the main impact of the blow, but the shockwave wasn't anything to sneeze at.
"I have to admit this stretching thing makes fighting a whole lot easier," said Oars and then he raised his leg. "Dragon…"
Snotlout looked up. "He's coming back for more!"
"…Talon!" he roared.
His leg then came shooting straight down at the ground, just like his fist from earlier. Once again, they were able to avoid the impact, but the shockwave was enough to send them flying.
"What the hell is going on here?" Ragnar asked. "He just got exponentially more powerful."
"If he had Devil Fruit powers, he would have used them already, so how is he able to stretch like that?" Toothless asked. "It has to be Moria; what did he do?"
Oars then lowered himself back to the ground.
"There you have it," said Moria. "Now you know the nightmarish power of the Shadow Shadow Fruit. Shadow Revolution!"
"'Revolution?'" Skull frowned.
"A shadow is a helpless prisoner to the body that casts it. Mimicking it like a reflection. The body and shadow of physically fused to the same shapes and movements. It is a basic law of nature, but I have freed Oars' shadow from the dominance of his body and taken control of its form with my own shadow.
To prove his point, they all saw Moria's shadow emerging from within Oars' shadow.
I can now change the shape of Oars' shadow as I wish, thereby forcing Oars' body to meet and match it with every contortion. As I said, it is the law of nature that the body and shadow must go as the same shape. But now, the shadow is no longer subordinate but the master. The body is forced to obey any shade the shadow takes. This is the power of Shadow Revolution."
"Moria is even stronger than we thought," said Chopper. "Even though Oars doesn't have a Devil Fruit power, he can still stretch. If Moria controls his shadow, he can rewrite the rules."
"It's a bit of cold comfort to know that Oars isn't actually a power holder," said Ragnar. "Moria can now make him stretch, making the attack even more deadly. He was already tough enough already; give us a break."
"Right, it was hard before, but now it is almost impossible," said Toothless.
"I know this is a bad time to ask; where is Hiccup?" Astrid asked.
"Yeah, if thought he was going after Moria?" Fishlegs frowned. "It Moria is here. Why isn't he?"
"Moria managed to give him the slip," Snotlout explained. "I mean, I can't believe that our captain would be tricky so easily."
"Please, you would have fallen for the same trick much sooner," said Tuffnut.
"Or not realise that all," said Ruffnut.
Astrid grimaced. 'I'm guessing now would not be a good time to tell them that another Warlord is on the island.'
She then looked at Fishlegs, giving him a silent message telling him not to let the others know about Kuma. Fishlegs clearly understood the message as he nodded.
"I know me and Fishlegs are a little late to the party, but let me get this straight," said Astrid looking at Ragnar. "We have to take down Hiccup's zombie and Moria to get everyone's shadows back? Is that the gist of it?"
"That is about it," Ragnar admitted.
"But the sun is almost up," Fishlegs pointed out.
"You don't think we don't know that?" said Ragnar. "Our enemy has forced our hand; we don't have much of a choice."
"Excuse me," said Skull.
Astrid looked at Skull, looking rather surprised. "The skeleton? I didn't know you were here too."
"If you would allow it, I would like to offer my assistance," said Skull. "I have an idea that might just work."
Toothless looked at Eret's unconscious body and then charged at Oars.
"Get back here, Toothless!" Chopper yelled. "Don't be reckless!"
At the same time, everyone was putting Skull's plan into action. The twins and Snotlout were operating the catapult once more, but this time they were launching Skull, and Heather had wrapped several arms around his waist.
"My friends, I appreciate your trust in me," said Skull.
"I don't think it should be too tough to pull it off," said Heather.
"You absolutely sure about this, Skull?" Snotlout asked. "Not that I'm talking you out of it, but you just saw what happened to Eret."
"Yeah, and you're in far worse condition than him," Fishlegs pointed out. He then placed his hands together. "But I'll offer all the aid I can! Now Dark Cloud Temp!"
Fishlegs then began conjuring thunderclouds right in Skull's path.
"I'm ready; fire it will," said Skull.
"I can't believe you were using this again," Snotlout grumbled.
"Just put you back into it!" Tuffnut snapped.
"And just follow our instructions," Ruffnut added.
"I intend to repay my debt, even if it means costing my life," said Skull. "I will fight to the last bone; you can count on me."
"All right, then brace yourself!" Snotlout warned and released a catapult.
"Here goes!" Toothless yelled.
"Slalom Vine!" Heather yelled, pulling on her arms.
This caused Skull to spin around like a top, and then he entered the storm cloud. The moment he did, lightning began to course through his entire body as well as his sword, which he was now pointing upwards.
'I'm getting such a shock that I can see my bones, though admittedly, I was only bones, to begin with,' he said.
He then turned his attention to Oars. "All right, here I come like an arrow forged by lightning! Lightning Bone Sword: Gavotte Bond en Avant!"
He then pierced right through Oars' right arm, right through the joint which connected the arm to the shoulder.
"All right, he shot straight through him!" Snotlout yelled.
"There's a hole in me!" Oars roared as he clutched his wounded arm.
"Now is our chance," said Astrid looking to the others. "Follow-up attack!"
Skull had kept going and crashed straight into the mansion behind Oars, with his lower torso sticking out.
"As they say, mission accomplished," he groaned.
"Nice work there, bones!" said Toothless as he dashed forwards. "All right, Two-Sword Style: Tower Climb!"
He then swung his two swords upwards, dealing a powerful slashing attack against Oars.
"You bastard, your next!" Oars growled. "But first…" He then turned his eyes to Skull. "…that skeleton is going to pay for hurting me!"
He then raised his leg into the air with stretched. "Dragon…"
"Oh no, he's going after Skull!" Ruffnut yelled.
"That's not fair," said Tuffnut.
"…Battle Axe!" Oars roared, bringing his foot down and performing a powerful axe kick.
"Skull, no!" Ragnar yelled.
"Skeleton!" Fishlegs cried.
The blow was enough to knock Skull unconscious, and he fell and struck the ground.
"Take this!" Ragnar yelled as he transformed his pistols into their shotgun mode. "Meteors Shot!"
Some large bullets then immediately headed straight towards Oars, but he was able to block them with his hand.
"Didn't work," he said. "All you done is make yourself a target. Your friend with the swords can wait, cowboy. Dragon…" He then outstretched both his hands. "…Twin Fist!"
Ragnar braced himself, but when Oars outstretched his hands, they didn't stretch like last time.
"What?" said Oars looking confused. "Why can't I stretch?"
"Eight Flowers…" said Heather, who had crossed her arms. "Hand Flowers…"
Everyone then turned to Moria and found that Heather had sprouted several arms and fused them into four larger arms. These arms were now pinning Moria down and strangling him.
"Where did these hands come from?" Moria wheezed. "That's cheating!"
"Give it up, or I'll snap your neck," Heather threatened. "Your shadow revolution is over. Tighten hold!"
The arms responded to the sword and began tightening their grip on Moria, who was now finding it extremely difficult to breathe.
"Hey, this hurts," he groaned.
"Hell yeah! Nice work, Heather!" Snotlout cheered.
"You honestly think you're little hand tricks are not to dig me into the ground?" said Moria. "Well, if you want to play dirty, I don't mind slinging in a little mud."
Then suddenly emerging out of Oars' shadow was Doppleman.
"Have some Brick Bat!"
Parts of Doppleman broke apart, turned into bats, and began flying straight towards Heather. They immediately began to swarm and bit down on her.
"Get away from her!" Ragnar yelled.
"Twenty Flowers: Calendula!" Heather yelled.
Arms then sprouted from her album and began spinning around like a windmill creating perfect shields. They ward off a few of the shadow bats, but there were just too many of them, and they continued to bite down hard on her.
"Heather, no!" Astrid cried.
Heather then hit the ground, exhausted. It took everything he had to maintain her grip on Moria.
"If you want to sink your teeth into something, then try this!" Ragnar yelled as he rushed to Heather's rescue.
He then dealt some devastating kicks to knock the shadow bats aside. However, they began to reform directly behind Heather and slowly turned back into Moria's shadow.
"Moria's shadow," Heather gasped.
"Well, considering that you put such an effective chokehold on me, I guess I have to pull my long-range weapons as well," said Moria.
'I can't let his shadow distract me,' said Heather. 'I just have to take out the body, and the shadow will disappear too.'
She then got to her feet and crossed her arms once more. "Four Hands…"
Then she tightened her hold on Moria.
"Stop! Okay! Come on now! That's enough!" Moria choked.
"And then Clutch!" Heather yelled.
They then all watched as Heather broke Moria's neck, and they could hear his screams.
"Nice!" Snotlout beamed.
"Awesome!" Astrid cheered.
"You go, girl!" Ruffnut yelled.
"You did it, Heather!" Tuffnut yelled.
"Heather look out; Moria's shadow is right behind you!" Toothless warned.
Heather turned around and saw that Moria's shadow was still behind her. This didn't make any sense; it should have disappeared after killing its master. However, she then noticed that in place of the shadow's head was Moria's real head, which was laughing.
Upon closer inspection, they could see that the shadow was now slowly turning into the real Moria.
"What? How in the world did Moria get over there?" Fishlegs asked.
"Almost got me, but not quite in time," said Moria. "You see, I can switch places with my Doppleman here whenever I see fit."
"Switch places? No way!" said Ragnar.
"Then that means the one inside Oars' stomach…" said Snotlout.
Everyone turned to Oars and saw, sitting in the cockpit was, Moria's shadow.
"Yes, the one in the cockpit is my shadow double," Moria confirmed. "Your cute little arm parlour tricks don't have any effect on him." He then suddenly pulled out a pair of scissors and reached out for Heather's shadow.
Everyone watched as he ripped it from the ground and brought the scissors towards it.
"Leave Heather alone!" Ragnar demanded.
Everyone watched as Moria severed Heather's shadow. She instantly fell unconscious.
Moria laughed. "I believe that's put three of your team under my belt."
"That bastard stole Heather's shadow too!" Snotlout yelled.
"Too bad I don't have a corpse on hand," said Moria as he looked at Heather's shadow. "I'll just hold on to you for safekeeping."
Ragnar then suddenly spun like a top, and he stopped. His right foot was now blazing red.
"Red Diablo!" he said and instantly charged at Moria. "You're going to pay for that, you monster! Give Heather's shadow back right now!"
He then jumped into the air and raised his blazing leg towards Moria. "Blaze Dance!"
"Fly Brick Bats!" said Moria.
Ragnar then struck him with his blazing foot and began kicking him in quick succession, not leaving any kind of pause. However, Moria's body then suddenly broke up into shadow bats showing that he had swapped places with his shadow once more.
"Switching places with your shadow again?" Ragnar cursed.
One of the bats then bit him on the arm, and then they began flying back to Oars.
"If he switched out, and that means…" said Fishlegs and then turned his eyes to the cockpit and found Moria was there once more. "… Moria! He's back inside of Oars' stomach cockpit!"
"Well, look at that; we're right back to square one," Moria laughed.
"I told you already that this is my fight, and I don't need anyone butting in," said Oars angrily.
"I do apologise, Oars; I couldn't help myself from getting in on the fun," said Moria.
Oars then turned his eyes to Heather's unconscious body. "Well, I'm taking over now, and I'll start by squishing her."
He then jumped into the air and stretched out both his fists behind his back. "Now, Dragon…"
"He can stretch again!" Tuffnut pointed.
"Moria must be back in control of his shadow," said Ruffnut.
"That means is no way for us to stop it this time," said Snotlout.
"He's actually going after what he unconscious?" said Fishlegs stunned.
Oars was now directly above Ragnar and Heather, ready to unleash his attack.
"Ragnar! Heather! Get out of the way!" Fishlegs cried.
"Twin Fist!" Oars stretching his fists forwards.
Ragnar then immediately spun, igniting his leg. "Red Diablo: Triple Course Meal!"
He then kicked Oars' arms so fast it looked as if he had three legs.
"What the?" Oars stared.
The strength of Ragnar's kicks also deflected the attack causing both fists to miss Heather, but deflecting them took a lot out of Ragnar.
"Whoa, he blocked it," Tuffnut stared.
Ragnar land on the ground, exhausted. "This is our chance; someone get Heather to safety."
"We're on it," said the twins.
They immediately grabbed Heather and carried her to safety.
"Hey!" Chopper yelled. "Look, you guys! Check this out!"
Everyone looked up and was stunned to find that Chopper was standing on Oars' shoulder in his human form.
"Chopper, what the hell are you doing up there?" Ragnar yelled.
"Some forensics work, searching for Oars' original cause of death," he explained.
"Cause of death?" Toothless frowned.
"Aim for his left arm; this one is new. It's not his original arm," Chopper informed them. "Hogback did a good job restoring it, but the joint still shows signs of frostbite. This is only an informed guess, but I think he died 500 years ago from exposure to the cold. He might be a massive brute, but he's still no match for mother nature. He got caught in the cold and froze to death, and if I have to speculate any further, he didn't just get caught in the cold… he was naked!"
"I won't lose to someone that dumb!" Astrid, Toothless and Ragnar yelled.
"Zombies may not feel pain, but they can still take damage, and all of our attacks have weakened his original wounds. This is our chance to cut his attack power in half. All we've got to do is get rid of this arm, so focus all of your attacks here."
"Quit squeaking in my ear!" Oars roared as he raised his right fist. "And who the hell said you can stand on me!"
He then struck his fist against his shoulder right down on top of Chopper.
"Chopper, no!" Astrid screamed.
However, when Oars removed his fist Chopper had completely vanished.
"Where did he go?" he asked.
"Nice punch there; too bad all you did was hurt your own shoulder," said Chopper's voice from his right fist. "You might not be able to feel it but trust me."
"There's a voice coming from my hand?" said Oars as he examined his fist.
Chopper then poked out of his fist into his hybrid form. "I'm kinda a small guy. Your fist is like a cavern to me feel with cracked I can hide in." He then pulled out a Rumble Ball animated. "Rumble! Jumping Point!"
He then quickly transformed into his jumping form and launched himself into the air.
"And Arm Point!" said Chopper transforming into his arm form.
"Chopper, impressive work!" said Ragnar as he ran up Oars' body. "Here, let me give you a hand."
"Ragnar boost me up!" Chopper yelled.
Ragnar then launched himself into the air, positioning himself directly behind Chopper.
"Black Death…" said Ragnar.
Chopper then landed his hooves on his right leg and outstretched his arms. "…Cloven…"
"….Roseo Shot!" they yelled in unison.
Ragnar then launched Chopper straight at Oars as if he was a cannonball striking him dead centre on his left arm just below the shoulder.
"You're starting to get on my nerves," said Oars looking at Chopper, who was standing on his arm. "You keep getting the same spot, but it's not even hurting me. If it doesn't work once, it's never going to work."
"Oh, it's going to work," said Chopper confidently. "Pain is a warning sign used to protect the body. Not feeling any pain doesn't make you stronger."
"Chopper!" Ragnar yelled.
Chopper then quickly jumped off Oars as the two of them were prepared to attack again, but Oars wasn't going to let that happen.
"The same trick will work twice!" Oars roared as he jumped into the air.
"You've got to get out of that, guys! He's coming after you!" Toothless yelled.
"Now, Dragon…" said Oars as he raised his fists.
Ragnar and Chopper were currently forms of those no way they could avoid an attack in midair, and they both knew it.
"This looks bad," said Ragnar.
"Really bad," Chopper agreed.
"…Combat!' Oars roared.
He then rained down fists from above, held in both Ragnar and Chopper, rendering them unconscious.
"Ragnar! Chopper!" Fishlegs cried.
"He took down another two," Astrid gasped. "One by one, he is destroying us."
"Damnit!" Snotlout cursed.
"Maybe you should pick on someone his own size," said Tuffnut.
"There is no one his own size," Ruffnut argued.
Moria laughed. "Number four and number five… only five left to go!"
