Everyone was panicking as those who lost their shadows were being disintegrated upon seeing the sun, and there was nothing they could do.

"No, Toothless!" the twins cried.

"Ragnar!" Chopper cried.

"Heather!" Fishlegs yelled.

"Hiccup!" Astrid yelled.

"Their bodies are burning to ashes!" they cried helplessly.

"What's going on?" Eret asked. "We beat Moria, didn't we? That should have done it. Were we too late?"

A few of the Rolling Pirates managed to find cover amongst the rubble, but they could hear the screams of their fellow pirates.

"They're all disappearing!"

"Captain Lola!"

"Everyone!"

"We should have run, damnit!" they cried.

While this was happening, the shadows that had escaped from Moria were flying in all different directions, returning to their former owners.

A group of pirates on the Grand Line soon became aware of this.

"Whoa! Captain!" a pirate yelled, rushing towards the Captain's cabin. "Captain, you need to come onto the deck quickly!"

"You idiot, we haven't seen the sun in two years since Moria stole our shadows," the Captain grumbled as he covered himself in a blanket. "Go back to sleep."

"I know, Captain, but look, take a look at my feet!"

Captain then decided to humour him, looked at his feet, and discovered that he now had a shadow.

"Your shadow! It's—"

"I bet it's the same for you, captain."

The Captain immediately jumped out of bed and rushed outside. He then looked down at his feet and saw that he, too, had his shadow.

"W-W-We got our shadows back!" he yelled to his men.

Instantly they all cheered.

"All of us, Captain! Every member of the crew had their shadows returned!"

"Hey, Captain, do you think this means that someone out there was able to beat Moria Gecko?"

"Oh, come on, like that bloody likely. Even before Moria became a Warlord, you went toe to toe with Kaido, one of the four pirate emperors. Do you think someone came along and was able to bring him down? That's just crazy talk."

People all over the world rejoiced as their shadows returned, and they stood up and looked at the sun for the first time in a very long time.

A maid then suddenly dropped her plate as she looked in the mirror and saw her reflection.

"It's back, my reflection. I can see it," she gasped.

"What all the fuss about Margarita?" said the Lord of the Manor as he rushed over to her.

"My shadow, my shadow has returned after all this time!"

"What? It just returned?" he said, shocked. "You said a pirate stole it 10 years ago, and now it's back?" He then looked down at her feet and saw the shadow. "It's true…"

Margarita then looked down and saw the smashed plates. "Master, I'm so sorry. I was so surprised when I saw it. I dropped your precious plates. I've hated plates for a long time now, but all of a sudden, I seem to have gotten over all that. I-I'm sorry for being so much trouble; I'll pack my things and leave the mansion right away. Goodbye."

She then turned to leave, but the Lord of Manor stopped her. "Hold on, now what are you talking about? Who cares about those silly old plates."

She then turned and looked at him, stunned.

"All that matters is that you weren't hurt, okay? And now you have your shadow back; I'm so happy for you."

"Sir," she said and broke down into tears.

"Thank goodness that's over," he said, relieved.

Meanwhile, back at Breakneck Bog, everyone just stared, speechless, as Hiccup and the others appeared unharmed.

"Look at that; guess it was in my day to die after all," said Toothless looking at his arm.

"I thought I was on my way to heaven there," said Heather relieved.

"You and me both," said Ragnar laughing.

"What's so funny? Half your bodies were gone; we thought you were all dead!" Snotlout snapped.

"That was scary," said Fishlegs and Chopper as they collapsed.

"As terrifying as it was, it was pretty awesome," said Tuffnut.

"Yeah, can you guys do it again?" Ruffnut asked.

"I have half a mind of punching all of you for scaring us like that," Astrid scolded.

"You people nearly gave me a heart attack, an impressive feat considering I don't have a heart," said Skull.

Skull looked at his hand and then turned towards the sun, a site he had not seen for quite a long time.

Hiccup and the others were the only ones who survived the sunlight; the Rolling Pirates had been restored as well.

"Yeah, sunlight!" said the masked brother as they all cheered upon seeing the morning sun.

"We don't have to be afraid of it any more!" the skinny brother cheered.

"We have our shadows back!" Lola cried.

"Our days of hiding in the dark are finally over!"

"Yeah, alright!"

"It looks like everybody survived," said Chopper.

"The sunlight had definitely begun to restyle existence, but our shadows returned, changing our bodies to their newly recovered state just in time," Heather theorised.

"That would follow the same logic as when we saw Moria change the shape of Oars' by manipulating his shadow," said Ragnar and looked down at his shadow. "My theory is that our shadow must know the shape of its own is supposed to be or something."

"Hell, if I know, but relax now that we've beaten Moria, I don't think we'll ever have to worry about our shadows being stolen away from us again," said Toothless.

"I'm glad that's over and that no one in their shadow and disappearing for good," said Fishlegs.

Eret sighed as he laid back. "I don't know about you guys, but all that fighting worn me out. Has anybody got any cola?"

"All the creepy crap and all the weird creatures in this place were an illusion, a false reality made by Moria and his crew," said Ragnar. "Now that he has been beaten, there's nothing left of this place. It's like we all woke up from the same horrible nightmare. And I, for one, am sure glad it's all over."

Hogback somehow managed to survive and located Absalom among the mansion's ruins.

"Hey, hey, Absalom!" he yelled as he tried to slap them awake. "Wake up! Wake up, dammit! Hey, come on, wake up!"

Absalom opened his eyes, and the first thing he witnessed was a zombie Lola's body right before him.

"Oh my, gods!" he screamed as he quickly backed away. " Lola, how many times do I have to tell you I'm not going to marry you!"

"Would you calm down? The shadow has already left her body," said Hogback.

"Doctor Hogback?" Absalom stared. "What are you doing here? And what happened to me?"

"How the hell should I know what happened to you? You probably got your ass kicked in some embarrassing manner. I wasn't here, but anyway, something awful has happened to Master Mora."

Hogback then began explaining the situation to Absalom.

"What?!" Absalom yelled. "Master Moria has been defeated by Dragon Conqueror Hiccup?"

"Silence!" Hogback yelled. "You're too damn loud! Use your inside voice! Your inside voice!"

"What the hell are you flying in a rage for, huh? Doctor Rageback?" Absalom asked.

"I'm pissed because Breakneck Bog is useless to me now," said Hogback frustratingly. "When I have no intention of living out the rest of my life as a washed-out loser. How about you?"

"Wait, what do you mean?" Absalom asked.

The battle was now over, and everyone turned their immediate concern to Hiccup, who was still unconscious.

"Still out of it, huh?" Toothless asked.

"He told me that his different modes put a strain on his body, so he can only use them in short bursts," Chopper explained.

"These new fighting techniques just seem too much with his body to handle," said Astrid looking deeply concerned. "He could actually hurt himself. It's really starting to worry me. Every enemy we run into is stronger than the last one we've faced. He's going to have to keep doing this to himself every single time. We need to pull ourselves together and soon."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, you're right," said Fishlegs.

They then heard footsteps and jumped when they saw the old man they encountered in the woods standing there.

"Holy crap, it's a zombie!" Snotlout panicked. "One of them kept their shadows even after we beat Moria!"

"No, I'm just an old man with serious injuries," he said.

"There's too damn confusing," said Ruffnut.

"Can't you be a zombie instead?" Tuffnut asked.

"Aren't you the old man we met in the cemetery?" Ragnar asked.

"It's unbelievable to think that we would see the day when we would be able to walk under the sun again," he said. "Thank you so much; I don't know how we could ever repay you."

"Hey! Old man Spoil!" Lola yelled as she and her Pirates ran over to them.

"It's the honorary chairman of the Victims Club!"

"Oh, look, it is," said Spoil as he smiled. "You're okay then?"

"Yes, and you?" Lola asked.

"Sure am."

"I'm guessing they all know each other or something," said Snotlout.

"Good, you're all here," said Lola looking at the Dragon Riders. "I'm sorry we didn't thank you sooner."

"We're really grateful to every last one of you folks," said the skinny brother. "Sorry that we got you all wrapped up in our mess here."

"Yeah, we all knew it when we first saw you," said the masked brother. "You were our only hope against Moria, and then damn curse he put on us."

"Thank you all very much," said Lola. "From me and all the members of Breakneck Bog Victims Club." All of them then suddenly went down on their hands and knees and bowed before them. "We will never forget that we owe you our lives."

"Thank you from the bottom of our hearts," they said.

"If you ever need anything, please let us know," said Spoil. "We may not have much, but what we have is yours for the taking."

"And lastly and most importantly, I would allow one of you to marry me," said Lola.

All the guys just looked at her blankly.

"Hell no!" said all the male Dragon Riders and Skull in unison.

"Shut down by seven people all at the same time," said the masked brother.

"That's 4,451 rejections," said the skinny brother.

"There's really no need for all this thank you stuff," said Toothless. "It's like Hiccup told the old man when we got here. We were fighting for our own crew and on our own terms. The fact that you guys were rescued, too, was just a bonus."

"Hey, don't say that," said Snotlout. "Someone was finally showing us a little gratitude."

"Yeah, he's right," said the masked brother. "Let us thank you all proper like, okay."

"You guys might not have set out to save us, but we're still glad that you said Moria packing," said the skinny brother. "And we can start by showing you whether Moria's treasure is hidden."

"You guys can take every piece you find; you sure did earn it," said the masked brother.

"We'll have to wait until we hear what Hiccup has to say before we make a decision," said Astrid and then suddenly remembered that Kuma was on the island. "Oh no! I forgot something really important."

"Like what?" Snotlout asked.

Fishlegs eyes widened as he realised what she was getting at. "How could we forget him?"

Heather looked at the two of them, confused. "Is something wrong?"

"I'm afraid this is serious," said Astrid.

"I see," said an unknown voice.

Everyone then looked up and saw Kuma sitting in the storied mansion, communicating with someone on a transponder snail.

"My greatest fears have become an unfortunate reality," said the voice on the transponder snail.

"So it would seem," said Kuma.

"Whoa, who is that guy?" Tuffnut asked.

"He's here," said Fishlegs horrified.

"Everyone stay calm and listen," said Astrid, who was sweating quite badly. "During the fight with Moria and the others… I forgot to tell you, but… there's another one of them on the island."

"Another one of what?" Ruffnut frowned.

"Another one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea," said Astrid.

Everyone stared at her, shocked.

"Wait, you don't mean that he's…" said Snotlout and looked up at Kuma. "…one of…"

"Seven Warlords of the Sea," said everyone.

"T-There's no way," said Snotlout horrified.

"What's going on? They weren't working together, so why does the need to be two of them here?" Chopper asked.

"Of course, all of this had to happen just as we chose a successor for Viggo," said the voice of a transponder snail. "Losing another Warlord in such a short time sets a bad example. Can you tell if he still breathing? Even in the slightest?"

"No," said Kuma honestly.

"If he is, in fact, still alive, we will wait for his recovery and hope that he can maintain his position as one of the Seven Warlords. We will follow up after such time comes. The dignity of the Warlords would be tarnished if we were to keep losing them so easily. It is critical that this news not reach anyone else. These damn Dragon Riders are such a nuisance."

"It's him," Lola gulped. "The man who stands as tall as Moria, the pirate known throughout the world as the Tyrant… Kuma Bartholomew."

"Argh, no way!" the skinny brother cried. "That's Tyrant Kuma!"

"Hold on, you mean like the one who is famous for his brutality!" the masked brother panicked.

"I feel like I've made my orders are quite clear on this matter," said a voice on the transponder snail. "We cannot afford to let anyone else know of Moria's defeat. This is a direct order from the World Government obliterate the Dragon Riders crew and everyone else on Breakneck Bog. Leave no one alive."

"Simple enough," said Kuma.

"Wait, did he just say what I think you said?"

"H-He's going to obliterate us?"

Kuma then rose to his feet and looked down at them all.

Understandably everyone was in a bit of a panic.

"They want to kill all of us!"

"I don't understand what for?"

"Man, this cannot be happening."

"We just managed to get all of our shadows back from Moria, and now this too?"

Kuma just remained silent as his eyes fell upon Hiccup, who was still unconscious.

"Oh, come on, how many of these Warlords do we have to fight?" Snotlout moaned.

"It took everything we had to defeat Moria; we're worn out and done for," said Chopper.

Toothless then rose to his feet, stepped forward, and drew his sword. "Everyone stand back; I'll handle this."

Sadly was plain to see to everyone that Toothless was quite worn out; after all, he had taken a few heavy hits from Oars earlier.

"Be careful. He's got some strange abilities," Fishlegs warned. "Astrid and I saw him make someone disappear with only a touch of his hand."

"Wait, you mean like poof, and there suddenly gone?" said Snotlout horrified.

"So scary," Chopper trembled.

"He's also able to move from one location to another in a split second," Astrid warned.

Everyone looked up at Kuma, speechless, and watched as he removed one of his gloves.

"Don't let him touch you; it's dangerous," said Astrid as Kuma removed his second glove.

Everyone remained perfectly still, watching Kuma closely, waiting for him to make the first move. Then he suddenly vanished into thin air and reappeared in the middle of the Rolling Pirates.

"What the?!" Lola gasped as she spun around.

The Rolling Pirates immediately drew their blades, but every single one of them were shaking.

"He's right here!"

"And he's huge."

"How did he do that?"

"I'll be damned; that bastard can really change places instantly," Eret stared.

"Damnit all, just when we got our freedom back to," the masked brother cursed. "There's no way I'm going down without a fight."

"If you think we're just going to roll over and die after all the crap we've been through, you've got another thing coming, pal," said the skinny brother. "Let's take him down!"

"You heard him. It's do or die!"

"Stop it, all of you; this guy is way too strong. Back off!" Lola yelled.

Unfortunately, none of them were listening and immediately charged at Kuma. He then suddenly placed his palm on one of the pirates, and some sort of force went straight through his body, hit the pirates behind him and tore through the rubble.

"Even the ones he didn't touch, it's almost like something shot right through them."

"Dammit!"

He suddenly disappeared and reappeared directly behind Toothless, who then turned to face.

"Pirate Hunter Toothless, shall I begin the annihilation with you?" he asked.
