Everyone was completely overwhelmed by Kuma's previous attack on the pirates and quickly went to examine the wound. All of them were still alive, though just all of them had strange bruises on their bodies that resembled paw pads.

"Come on, hang in there, little buddy. Don't you die on me?"

"What the hell did that bastard just pull? He knocked them out without laying a finger on them."

"What kind of powers does this guy have?"

"What kind of sick twist of fate is this?" said Lola. "All these years we've spent hiding in that dark forest suffering beneath Moria's tyranny. And just when the nightmares seem like it's over, another one of the Seven Warlords shows up and says he's going to annihilate us?"

"This guy's got no sense of honour," said the skinny brother. "He knows the battle they just went through and the kind of shape they're in. He's just taking them when they're down."

"Through the odds," said the masked brother. "We may not have their powers, but we can still fight, so you'll have to deal with us."

"Yeah, who cares if you're one of the Seven Warlords! You're nothing compared to Oars and Moria."

"Drop the big talk and stay back," said Toothless.

The Rolling Pirates stared at him.

"I'm the one he called out; you heard it as well as I did. I'll give him the fight he wants. You Wanna talk about honour, then don't butt in."

Kuma just looked down at Toothless, looking slightly intrigued, there was difficult to tell since he didn't show any signs of emotion.

"Your crew has quite the popular protection, amongst scum, that is," said Kuma, and his eyes then turned to the Dragon Riders. "It would seem some of the tales of your crew are true. It is clear that Dragon Conquer Hiccup has staffed his ship with rather skilled underlings."

"Oh no, no, no, stop it. Really you're making me blush. You're too kind," said half of the Dragon Riders in unison.

"This is hardly the time to be flattered, you guys!" Lola yelled.

"You leave a trail of trouble in your awake everywhere you go," said Kuma. "The infamy isn't reserved for your captain; you each pair your own share of responsibility."

Toothless then sheathed his swords and then took up a fighting stance, gripping two of his blades.

"Don't do it, Toothless! It's madness in the state you're in," Fishlegs pleaded. "Your bones have got to be nothing but dust at this point."

"When disaster stares you down, you've either got to step up or just get the hell out of the way," said Toothless bluntly. "I prefer the former; making excuses won't delay catastrophe. If I die here and now, that is as far as I was meant to go. Two-Sword Style: Falcon Draw!"

He then quickly shot forwards, drawing both blades simultaneously, but Kuma suddenly vanished, only ending up cutting through the stones behind him. A split second later, Kuma appeared right in front of him, pointing his hand directly down above him. Toothless quickly jumped at the way just as he thrusted his hand forwards.

"Oh crap, this guy is fast," he said.

When the dust cleared, Kuma had reached nowhere near the ground, but even still, he had left a massive imprint on its surface, which resembled a paw pad. He then suddenly spun around and thrust his hand forwards; Toothless quickly leaned back and ended up getting grazed by something. Whatever it was kept on going smashing through the stones leaving paw pad inference as it went.

Toothless winced in pain as he rolled across the ground after losing his balance. He quickly landed on his feet, but whatever struck him hard.

"You see, Kuma didn't even touch him, and his breathing is all ragged!" Fishlegs cried.

"What's his power? I can't even figure out what he's doing and what are those weird marks left on the rubble," said Astrid.

It was then that they saw on Kuma's palm several bulges that resembled the shape of a cat's paw pad.

"His hand! What's that, his palm?" said the skinny brother.

"Are those—paw pads?"

"That's crazy; why would a human have paw pads?"

Kuma then turned to Toothless, who was breathing rather heavily and still recovering from that last attack.

"36 Calibre Phoenix!" Toothless yelled, swinging his sword.

He unleashed a slashing attack at Kuma, but he merely raised his palm. The moment the attack struck it, it bounced off the paw pads and headed straight for the Rolling Pirates.

"Look out!"

They barely just got out of the way, but they were knocked away by the impact of the attack, and it hit the rubble.

"He deflected Toothless' attack with his bare hand!" Chopper gasped. "How is that even possible?"

Toothless now in his eyes at Kuma. "I think I just figured out what your ability is."

"I possess the power to deflect anything I wish," said Kuma. "You see, I ate the Paw-Paw Fruit and became a paw palm human."

"Huh, paw palm human?" Ragnar blinked.

"How can you say that with a straight face?" said Snotlout. "That's the most ridiculous Devil fruit I've ever heard of."

"Why would anyone ever want paw pads?" Tuffnut frowned.

"Maybe he likes cats," said Ruffnut.

"Still, it looks pretty cool."

"I claiming that I don't know much about the Seven Warlords, but if this guy's power is kitten hands, what are we worried about?" Eret asked.

Kuma answered that question by raising his palm at Eret, and then something struck right through his chest and hit the rubble behind him. Everyone turned and stared as he was sent flying straight into the rubble.

"Eret, no!" Chopper cried and quickly rushed over to him. "Eret!"

"I'm disappointed, Cyborg Eret," said Kuma sounding a little irritated. "If that is the extent of your power, you should keep your mouth shut."

"Eret, keep breathing!" Chopper pleaded. "Come on! Don't give up!"

Eret then regained consciousness, but it was clear to everyone that he would be able to get back up for a while anyway.

"We're in trouble now," said Fishlegs. "He hit Eret head-on and blew him away!"

"Just what kind of move was that?" Ruffnut asked.

"It's just a theory, but perhaps he's deflecting the air itself," Heather suggested. "The normal physical attack wouldn't have affected Eret like that."

"I call it the Pad Cannon," Kuma explained. "I simply deflect air pressure at light speed, and it creates a shockwave that can pierce through anything."

Kuma stood motionless for a few seconds before taking up a new fighting stance. As he squatted down, everyone could feel the ground shake.

"I don't believe in mercy," he said.

Toothless then drew all three of his blades, knowing the big attack was coming.

"Feel my Thrust Pad Cannon!" he yelled.

He then began thrusting his hands forwards, unleashing more of those solid air attacks.

"Dreaming Wolf Sword!" Toothless yelled.

He then began dancing around, dodging the attacks. Once the attacks were over, he launched himself at Kuma. However, he moved with blinding speed and then blocked all three blades with his palms. Toothless then suddenly found himself being shot backwards and hit the rubble.

"Toothless!" Fishlegs panicked.

"He could even repel his swords?" Chopper gasped.

Toothless winced, barely able to stand, and then Kuma suddenly appeared in front of him.

"Damnit," Toothless cursed.

"This is pointless! There's no way he can keep going!" said the masked brother.

"It's a miracle he's gone this long in the condition he is in," said the skinny brother. "You saw the beating he took from Oars. If this guy lays a finger on him, he's done for."

Toothless refused to give up, but he was so beaten up and could barely lift his sword.

"Toothless, look behind you, run!" Fishlegs yelled.

Kuma had appeared directly behind Toothless, aiming his palm directly above him, and was just about to launch his attack.

"Toothless!" Chopper and Fishlegs screamed as they hugged one another.

Then suddenly, the twins jumped out of nowhere and swung their swords.

"We don't think so!" they yelled in unison, winning their blades down on his face.

"Ruff! Tuff!" the Chopper cheered.

"He didn't have a chance to deflect their swords," Fishlegs beamed. "They're going to cut into ribbons!"

"Idiots! I said not to butt in!" Toothless yelled.

Then everyone stared in shock as the twin's blades shattered the moment they made contact with Kuma's face.

"I take it that you're the Terror Twins Ruffnut and Tuffnut," Kuma expected. "It would seem as if you're just as reckless and foolhardy as the reports suggested."

"Their swords shattered when they struck his face," Snotlout gulped. "They just keep getting worse and worse."

"Is his face made of steel?" Tuffnut stared.

"And people say we have hard heads," said Ruffnut.

Everyone just stared in shock; none of them had expected this.

"Phoenix Shot!" Ragnar yelled and immediately fired his pistol at Kuma.

The bullet then exploded then turned into a flaming projectile in the form of a bird.

"Ah, the Gunslinger steps to the plate," said Kuma. "I was expecting a lot more from you."

He then raised his palm, and when Ragnar's attack struck it, he sent it flying back at him.

This was extremely bad, many of the Dragon Riders were completely worn out from the battle with Oars, and Hiccup was still unconscious after his battle with Moria.

"I knew this was pointless," said the skinny brother. "They haven't even phased that monster."

"They're dead meat against him!"

"Toothless! Ragnar!" Chopper cried.

Everyone just stood there, paralysed with fear, as they looked upon Kuma, unsure what he would do next.

"I knew from the start, but killing a crew of injured weaklings like you would bring me no joy," said Kuma. "Not to mention that it's not a fair fight, but orders are orders. Even though I may not fully agree with them."

He then raised his palms into the air and could see that he was doing something, but they weren't quite sure. It was then that they saw what looked like a bubble in the shape of a paw and watched as it gradually got smaller.

"What the hell is he doing?"

"Is that air?" Astrid frowned. "It looks like a giant bubble shaped like a paw."

"And he keeps making it smaller," Chopper observed.

Fishlegs' eyes lit up. "I think I know what he's doing! He's using his power to deflect a giant air mass, but he's compressing it into a tiny ball."

"The real attack will come as soon as he releases all that compressed pressure," said Heather. "That much, and it would send out a massive shockwave like an enormous bomb."

"D-Did I hear you, right?" Chopper asked.

"Like a bomb?" Snotlout stared. "You mean he's going to release that and blow us all up!"

"This is bad," said Skull.

Kuma kept on shrinking the bubble until he was able to fit within his palms, and everyone was completely shaken with fear.

"I thought it over, and I've made a decision," said Kuma. "I will spare your lives."

The Rolling Pirates' faces immediately lit up.

"…but on one condition," Kuma continued. "In exchange for this act of magnanimity, you give me the head of Dragon Conqueror Hiccup."

Instantly all the Dragon Riders immediately gave Kuma a dark look.

"If I return with him, that should be enough to satisfy the Government," said Kuma.

"There's no way we will betray our captain," Ragnar growled.

"Now, then, hand him over before I change my mind," said Kuma.

"Never!" everyone roared without hesitation.

"This was your choice," said Kuma.

Everyone watched as he extended his hands. They all knew he was about to unleash a devastating attack. Kuma opened his palms and sent the bubble flying, but then it came to a stop. Everyone watched in horror as the bubble began to grow.

"Now suffer the Ursa Shock!" said Kuma.

The bubble then suddenly expanded outwards, erupting like an explosion. It was so powerful that it demolished the last remains of the mansion and encompassed the entire ship and the ocean surrounding it.

Window shattered, trees were uprooted, and massive waves slammed into the barrier around the ship. The ship's remaining masts strained under the pressure from the shockwave and snapped. A bright light encompassed the island bright enough to be seen from the horizon, and then everything went quiet.
