The Dragon Riders were still making their way to the Flying Fish Riders' base, but they were rather concerned with the disappearance of the Flying Fish Riders themselves.

"The flying fish just left?" said Chopper.

"And they were the ones who started the attack," Eret frowned. "Weird."

"It seemed like they received a message; maybe it was an order for them to retreat," Heather suggested. "I can't imagine why, though."

"Those flying fish are cool, though," said Ruffnut.

"Hey, Hiccup, do you think we can keep one as a pet?" Tuffnut asked hopefully. "I'll promise to feed it, wash it and play with it."

"We'll be heading for their base, so we will be meeting them again soon enough," said Ragnar. "We have to be careful though it may not be as easy next time. At least we know they can attack from the sea or the air."

"Why don't we line the deck with cannons?" Ruffnut suggested.

"Then we can blow them out of the sky!" Tuffnut yelled excitedly.

"I'm worried," Camie frowned. "I wonder if Octron is okay."

"Worry about yourself while you're at it, Camie," said Pappagu. "Macro wants to catch you badly. Don't drop your guard."

"Yeah, you're right," she said.

The Flying Fish Riders that attacked the Dragon Riders return to their base.

"Master Duval, the three riders have returned!"

When the three riders landed, they made their way to Duval, wondering why he called off the attack.

"I don't get it; why did you ask as the call off the attack?"

"Yeah, what gives?"

"We could have captured the mermaid and those pirates in one failed swoop."

"Idiots!" Duval growled and then fired several harpoons at their feet.

The three riders immediately fell over, looking at their boss, terrified.

"Listen up," he said, and they immediately got to their feet and stood to attention. "I told you a million times, I want those pirates alive because I'm going to rip them lame from lame with me own two hands. Whenever I start thinking about that guy, it's like I've got an itch on my back I can't scratch. And I swear it gets worse every time. Every day, I have cursed that man's name. Every day my hate for him grows; it burns."

"Just calm down and get a hold of yourself."

"Then now that bastard is coming straight to my front door, and I'm going to kill him," he said, pointing his harpoon right at the riders, causing them to panic. "This day is going to be perfect, even if it kills me. You got that? You understand?"

"Yes! I understand completely; we won't ruin it for you!"

"That's why you've got to follow my orders to the T because I'm going to murder this punk. Ain't nobody going to get in my way."

"Okay, sir, whatever you want!"

Duval then turned to Macro. "Hey, Macro Gang."

"Yeah, what you want?" the Fishman on Macro's left asked.

"What is it, Duvar?" the Fishman on Macro's right asked.

"Wait, did you say Duvar, Grovel?" said Macro looking at the Fishman on his right before turning to the wall on his left. "And you too, Tocod. Can't you show any more respect than that? You've got to learn some manners!"

"Hah, ha, he said Duvar, that's funny," said Tocod.

"That's enough!" Macro yelled before turning to Duval apologetically. "I am so very sorry. You were saying Master Duval, sir?"

"Hey, boss. That masked guy talks funny," said Grovel.

"Will you shut up already!" Marco roared and looked back at Duval. "My most sincere apologies, master. These two are as dumb as bricks, just ignore everything they say, and I promise they'll get the job done."

Duval chuckled. "You can run your stupid fish mouths all day; I don't care. Far as I'm concerned, you're my angel good fortune. I can't even begin to tell you how grateful I am for our little arrangement here."

"You can try," said Tocod.

"I told you to shut up, Tocod!" Macro barked.

"You can call it luck, but thanks to your free, I can finally meet the Dragon Rider Pirates," said Duval, grabbing several harpoons in his hand. "I will get my revenge, then I can finally get my life back."

"Dragon Rider Pirates?" Macro frowned. "Uh, might they be exactly?"

The Octron they had captured was indeed the Octron from Arlong's crew. He had managed to escape the Marines during transport and, after several adventures, met up with Camie and decided to open octopus fritters stand.

'Dragon Riders! It wasn't just my imagination,' he cried.

"Now listen good," said Duval then crushed the harpoons he held. "That guy… the one I've got to kill if it's the last thing I do! He's on that boat; I can feel it. I feel my hands around his neck as we speak!"

"Man, you really must take the crap out of that guy," said Macro.

'I never thought I would hear the name Dragon Rider Pirates way out here,' said Octron and moved his head to look at Duval. "Hey, big guy!"

"That's Master Duval; shows some damn respect!" Macro yelled at him.

"You're saying that Camie has been captured by the Dragon Rider Pirates?" said Octron ignoring him. 'This is bad, really bad. Of all the people she had to run into.' He then turned to the Flying Fish Riders. "And they're all on their way here together?"

"So it would seem they'll arrive anytime now. But you know she didn't seem all that captured to me. Looked more like she turned to those pirates will help."

"While, as I could tell, it looked like they were working together just fine. Well, it doesn't matter who she brings. In the end, be rounded up, caught and sold to the Human Shop. Once there, hear their history."

They then burst out laughing, but Octron knew very well just how strong the Dragon Riders were.

'That's what you think,' he said. 'Those Dragon Riders crazy strong. I'm in trouble; I wonder if Astrid and Fishlegs are still with them too. I wonder if Astrid is still mad at me… well, duh, of course, she would be. I did all those horrible things to her and Fishlegs when I was working with Arlong. If I don't hurry up and figure out some way to escape before they get here, I'll get my butt kicked just as much as these other guys! I'm so screwed!'

Up on one of the lookout towers, one of Duval's men saw the Night Fury approaching their base.

"Hey, Master Duval! The Dragon Riders are here!" the lookout announced.

"Finally," said Duval. "The time has come."

"Uh, hey, Macro," said Octron.

"Yeah? What do you want?" Macro asked.

"Have you let me go, and I'll give you some octopus fritters," Octron offered.

"I can buy my own damn seafood!" Macro roared. "What kind of moron do you think I am?"

"Did you see him? Is he on the ship?" Duval asked.

"Yes, sir! He's there for sure!"

"All right then, now that everything appears to be in order, I think it's time to give you what's coming to you," said Macro grabbing Octron.

Octron quickly looked at Grovel. "Hey, Grovel. If you let me go, I'll give you lots of fritters."

"Oh, come on, nobody is gonna…" He then saw Grovel's mouth was watering. "…Hey! You're not actually considering his bride!"

"Get to work, you maggots!" Duval roared impatiently.

"Sir!" said his men, and they quickly started.

Octron then looked at Tocod. "Hey, Tocod, listen. You like fritters—"

Tocod apparently did not like fritters, as he immediately dragged Octron away.

"Oh, just knock it off already," said Macro as he and Grovel followed them.

Duval just sat there, he could not wait to exact his vengeance on one particular Dragon Rider, and he was going to enjoy every second of it.

"I see something!" Hiccup announced.

Sure enough, they could see the Flying Fish Riders' base.

"From the looks of it, I bet that the Flying Fish Riders base," said Eret.

"Then let's keep an eye out for Camie's friend Octron," said Hiccup.

Astrid stood there pondering. "Octron?"

Snotlout then approached Camie proudly. "Don't worry, beautiful. I'll save your friend before you know it."

"Thanks, you're the best, Snotlout," Camie beamed and quickly looked down at the others. Hold on, guys, listen up! Be careful out there, okay. The Macro Gang has managed to capture me over 30 times already."

"You get captured way too often," said Ruffnut.

"You get eaten too often, too," Tuffnut added.

As they made their way into the base, they found the place completely deserted.

"Looks like about a crossover into enemy territory," said Eret.

"This is a strange island," said Fishlegs.

"Actually, it's not really an island; they just built a village in the middle of the water," said Eret.

"That's weird," Toothless frowned. "Why would anyone set up their base way out here?"

"Who knows," Ragnar shrugged.

"Enemy base, it sure is quiet," Chopper observed.

"I've got a bad feeling," said Fishlegs.

"We've gone too far to turn back now, Fishlegs," said Hiccup.

"Hey, Octron!" Camie cried. "Are you okay?"

"Hey, Macro! Show yourself!" Pappagu yelled. "Give us Octron back!"

Octron was actually in plain view; he was tied up in a cage in the middle of the base. He saw the Night Fury approaching them and saw the Dragon Riders' flag.

"That's their flag! It really is the Dragon Rider Pirates!" he panicked. "I've got to get out of here!"

He tried to break free from the ropes, but there were just too tight.

"Damn, it's no use. I'm stuck! That leaves me no choice! Octo Ink Jet!"

He then blasted ink out of his mouth and covered himself from head to toe.

It was by this point that the Dragon Riders could see the cage.

"Am I seeing things, or is something in the cage?" Heather asked.

"What the hell? There's some kind of black thing," Eret frowned.

Camie and Pappagu leaned over the side excitedly.

"Wait a second," said Camie narrowing her eyes to get a better look at the cage. "Is that… it kinda looks like Octron."

"Oh wow, we're in luck, Camie," said Pappagu. "There is a single enemy in sight. Maybe they all decided that this snack time or something."

"Probably," said Camie.

"You seriously can't be this dense!" Fishlegs yelled incredulously. "Anyone can see that this is a trap."

"They're totally hiding out, waiting for us to investigate so they can ambush us," Eret agreed.

"What a brilliant deduction!" Camie yelled.

"That's genius! I never would have thought of that!" Pappagu cried.

"And that's why you two idiots keep getting caught!" Eret snapped.

"I'm here, Camie! I'm fine!" Octron yelled from the cage. "There's no need to worry, okay."

"Octron, it really is you," said Camie relieved, but then frowned.

Octron had covered himself in ink so the Dragon Riders wouldn't recognise him. Upon seeing him, both Camie and Pappagu screamed.

"What happened? Your all black!" Camie yelled.

"Uh, they didn't do that. It's my own fault, actually," said Octron. "Anyway, this is a trap! Get out of here before they catch you! Don't worry, I can take care of myself. I'll be okay, so just go!"

Hiccup and the Dragon Riders that came from the East Blue looked at him sceptically.

"There's something about that guy's voice that seems really familiar," said Toothless and looked to the others. "You noticed it too, right?"

"Huh-uh, is shaped to," said Astrid.

"The way he talks as well," said Fishlegs.

"It has to be him," said Hiccup.

The twins were the only ones completely clueless; they looked at one another and then at the others.

"Who are you talking about?" they asked.

"Let's just ask him and get this over with already," said Ragnar. He then turned and looked at Octron and yelled at the top of his voice. "Hey, you! So how is Arlong doing these days?"

"Oh, not so good," said Octron absentmindedly. "Him, Chew, Seablade and all the others got caught by the Navy. I'm the only one who escaped. Now given up my life of crime, and I'm running an octopus fritters shop. Funny how time flies, right?"

Hiccup and the others just looked at him incredulously, and the twins just stared blankly.

"Arlong?" they blinked.

"What an idiot," said Hiccup, Toothless and Astrid in unison.

The twins' eyes widened when they realised what was going on.

"It's you!" Ruffnut yelled, pointing her finger accusingly at him.

"You're the octopus with swords!" Tuffnut yelled.

"Awww, they tricked me!" Octron cried. "Dammit, all!"

"You were with Alrong's crew, weren't you!" Tuffnut yelled.

"And you're also the octopus fritters guy?" Ruffnut stared.

"Arlong?" Heather frowned.

"Yeah, it was a really long time ago," said Snotlout. "Astrid and Fishlegs' hometown of Leefside Village used to be under the control of a nasty bunch of Fishmen called the Arlong Pirates. Both Astrid and Fishlegs were in an even worse situation, having to work for those jerks. And this octopus guy Octron was one of Arlong's top henchmen."

"Ah, so he's an old enemy, huh?" said Eret.

"Well, he was, but Hiccup and I, mainly me, came along and beat the crap out of every last one of those guys," said Snotlout proudly.

Chopper looked at him in admiration. "Oh, wow. Snotlout, your amazing."

"Yeah, I know, right," Snotlout smiled. "After we left the village, I thought the whole crew was going to get arrested by the Navy, but it looks like this guy left them behind and escaped."

"I see," said Skull as he drank a cup of tea. "Sounds quite the ordeal."

"So, are we going to rescue him or not?" Tuffnut asked.

"After what he did Astrid and Fishlegs, there's no way we'd rescue him, right?" said Ruffnut.

"But if we don't rescue, we won't get those octopus fritters."

"How can you think with your stomach at a time like this!"

"Hey, wait a second," said Camie. "Does this mean you guys know Octron? He must be like an old friend of yours or something."

"He's something all right," said Toothless narrowing his eyes. "He was our enemy."

"Let's turn the ship around," said Snotlout.

Camie looked at Astrid. "Astrid?"

"I'm sorry, we can't help you," she said regretfully. "I know we said yes at first, but we did know that this was the friend you were talking about."

"Oh, come on," said Camie with tears in her eyes. "You can't just leave like this after coming all this way! Please!"

"Don't worry about me, Camie!" Octron yelled. "Just leave, okay. This is a trap!"

"This sucks," said Camie. "Fine then, I'll have to do it. Octron, you're always saving me! So now it's my time to return the favour! Pappagu?"

"I mean," he said and then turned to the Dragon Riders and glared at them. "I never would've followed you guys would turn out to be such a bunch of heartless morons!" He then began slapping his backside as he yelled. "Morons!"

"Oh, shut up!" said Toothless.

"Just hang on, Octron!" Pappagu yelled.

"We won't leave this place without you!" Camie yelled.

"Here we come!" they said and then dived into the sea.

"No, wait!" Ragnar yelled.

"Just let them go," said Toothless.

"Do you think they're going to be okay?" Chopper asked.

"Yeah, I'm sure they had a plan," said Fishlegs confidently. "They were just jumped charged in there without one."

Sadly Fishlegs' theory fell apart when the Macro Gang emerged from the water, grabbing hold of both Camie and Pappagu.

"We got you now, Camie!" Macro yelled.

"You've got to be kidding me," Fishlegs groaned. "That's just pathetic."

"Now we're all going to be filthy rich," said Macro.

"Especially since the only guy with the saves you can't," said Grovel.

"You won't escape for us this time, Camie! It's over!" said Tocord.

Camie tried to free herself, but the grip they had on her was far too strong.

"Why did she just run away," said Octron as he watched helplessly. "Camie! Pappagu!"

"Bastards," Ragnar growled. "Camie hasn't done anything!"

"Ragnar, hold on a second, okay," said Astrid.

Octron was banging his head against the cage, trying to free himself. "Camie, I'm still going to save you, okay!"

Astrid continued to watch as he continued banging his head on the cage. Fishlegs then approached and placed a hand on her shoulder; she looked at him, and he nodded.

Astrid sighed. "All right, we might as well save him after all."

Everyone looked at her, surprised.

"Octron, isn't that bad? I would go as far as to say that he's harmless," said Fishlegs.

Astrid nodded in agreement. "We're not going to carry a grudge. Besides, we promised Camie we would help her, didn't we?"

"Are you two sure?" Ragnar asked.

"It's really okay?" Toothless asked.

"Yep," they nodded.

Astrid then looked up at Hiccup. "Right, Hiccup?"

"If you and Fishlegs say it's okay, then it's okay," said Hiccup.

Duval was currently in his headquarters and removed his helmet. He then sat down and picked up the transponder snail.

"All the preparations in order Flying Fish Riders?" he asked.

Every single one of the Flying Fish Riders were currently underwater. Using specialised diving equipment so that they could breathe underwater.

"Of course, we're always ready!" they said.

Hiccup then transformed into his hybrid form and then quickly took off. He quickly swooped down and grabbed Camie and Pappagu from the Macro Gang's clutches.

"You leave them alone!" he said and put as much distance as he could between the two of them.

"He's got Devil Fruit powers!" Macro stared.

"Dragon?" Octron stared as he flew over his cage.

Hiccup then landed in the village and placed Camie and Pappagu down.

"Damn! That little punk!" Macro growled.

"Thank you, Hiccup," said Camie gratefully.

"You saved us!" said Pappagu.

"Don't worry, I got them, Octron," Hiccup assured him.

"Thank you, Dragon," said Octron with tears in his eyes. "You have my most sincere gratitude for saving little Camie. I owe you one!"

"Hey, cut Octron's cage and untie him, Toothless!" Hiccup ordered.

"Right!" Toothless nodded.

"Be careful, Dragon, the trap is still set!" Octron warned. "The Flying Fish Riders have got you surrounded! They'll take you down any way they can! Don't let your guard down!"

"Now attack!" Duval ordered.

"Sir!" his men yelled.

They then began making their way to the surface.

"You're the greatest," said Camie looking at Hiccup in awe.

"I don't get they come from the sea or sky; we'll be ready," said Hiccup confidently. "We're going to be the crap out of them. It's time to fight!"

All of them smiled and got ready to fight. "Yeah!"

"Dammit!" Macro cursed. "Quick while we still have the chance! Come on, let's go and get Camie back!"

"Yeah!" said his goons.

"Camie! Pappagu! It's dangerous here; you have to stand back!" Octron yelled; when he looked at them, he was rather surprised.

Camie just sat there cheering them on. "Go, Hiccup!"

"Get them!" Pappagu yelled.

"Bring it," Hiccup challenged.

Fishlegs looked over the side of the ship and saw shadows emerging from the water. "Guys, they're here!"

"Right!" Astrid, Toothless, Ragnar and Chopper yelled, jumping to the battle stations.

Seconds later, the Flying Fish Riders flew out of the water and up into the sky. They then began flying around the ship like vultures, but Hiccup wasn't concerned as he knew he and his crew were up to the challenge.
