The year 2020 is coming to an end, a year that was marked by many events, completely changing the lives of the witches who left from what was just a normal year, to not only a pandemic, but also living in an isolation in Doras due to the impact of the fight against Miranda Holbrook, All this in the midst of the tension that was The Council Revival created by the director of Luna Nova herself, as one of several attempts to reprove Atsuko Kagari, but that she failed, since the Japanese girl studied hard and was approved.
The year was coming to an end, with expectations already very high for 2021, since a lot could change in the world, which was already sinking into a dangerous pandemic of covid 19, besides the imminent witch revolution that was being prepared by Laura McLaren and her friends.
POV Akko:
I just woke up here, I get up from bed after a warm kiss in Diana, we go together to the bathroom, to do our personal hygiene, it surprises me until now that we've reached the point of the year ending, we're going to start a new year soon and nothing of the ShinyAkko's project has started, thanks to everything that's been happening I had to put this project on hold, I'm glad we still have some good conditions to maintain ourselves, I sincerely hope this all ends soon.
I leave the bathroom and go to the window where I stare reflexively, just wondering what is happening now in the world, it's always something that comes back to me.
"We have reached the end of the year already" I say looking at the window.
"We will soon make our revolution, love, 2021 will start with everything, Holbrook has nae idea of the power that awaits her, this time we won't do badly," said Diana.
"Today is also Sucy's birthday, even though she doesn't usually celebrate, we already throw a party for her, who would say that Sucy is already 19 years old, when we are no longer at school it becomes more evident that there are people older than us" I tell to my girlfriend.
"Let's enjoy this day a lot then love, it's the last day of this year that has changed our lives, there's still a lot tae come" Cavendish said and she's right.

"Even worse than the Japanese summer?" I ask her, who nods in agreement.

A little later in the middle of the village...
I go to Lotte's cottage, where Sucy justly lives, already with the present in hands, I want to see her reaction with what I managed to find so she can do the usual crazy things, I am sure she will love it, after all there is no way to find such a bad present.
I knock on the door of Yanson's cottage and I'm attended by her family and I see that Sucy and Lotte were there, they were even eating a cake together, how cute, they also remembered that it's Manbavaran's birthday, how nice, she was even eating a cake with some mushroom decorations.
"Akko!" Everyone sees me and goes calling me running for the hug.
"I came here to give a happy birthday to one of my best friends" I say waving to everyone and seeing only Sucy alone in her corner, already Lotte's family is always all warm, even Frank was like that.
"I knew you wouldn't forget" Lotte said.
"There's no way to forget after what I did for her on her 16th birthday, remember the trouble we got into because of mushrooms? That was too funny" I said laughing and hugging Sucy who was still sitting.
"And look I already had those mushrooms, but it was of great use to know that the effect on you was hallucination, in the end I can use them to manage to create a tactic that you have never seen against Holbrook, see for myself that these things seem silly, but they can guarantee us a victory" She said and I never stopped to think about it.

She makes a point of opening it and in the box there's a plush from Arcor, which she looks at a bit strange and then gives a smile, I knew she would love this present, it could be a souvenir from all those times, even though Sucy is not a Chariot fan she will remember everything.
"The first thing of yours that I bewitched to get out of the way, I made this plush peck your eye, it was funny I have to admit, I loved the gift, but won't you miss it? It's a bird plush that Chariot had" Manbavaran said, and I nodded.
"I can get other stuffed animals from this one, but this one has a special meaning, it was with this that we met for the first time, I think that for you it is more special than for me, I have to agree with that" I say while giving the arcor plushie for her.
"It was a very unexpected gift, but I kind of liked it, I'll be able to use this Arcor to test it on you Akko! Hahahaha! I'm kidding, the time to use you as a guinea pig is over, you were one of my best friends in this time, it surprises me that after everything we've been through you still have a huge consideration for me, even in the beginning, I was a bit of a jerk to you, now I can appreciate the friendship we have, it was without a doubt three wonderful years since I met you, I won't forget anything I lived there in Luna Nova and this way you always mess up" she said putting the plush on the table and then she even gave me a head pat, how cute.
"I say the same, I will not forget you, our crazy adventures we had in Luna Nova - I say laughing.
"Tell me about it, I'll cherish all the times we ended up in detention because of you Akko, hahahaha, thank you Diana for showing up, if it wasn't for her you wouldn't be here, nor us hahahaha, how much she matured you is no joke" Oh sure, she really helped me to stay out of trouble.
"And then they will want to do something for old times' sake?" I ask them both.
"What? Serving as guinea pigs for my potions?" Sucy just goes for a laugh, but anything but.
"No, Sucy, you really want to use us as guinea pigs, don't you? But anyway, we could go outside and have a snowball fight, it can only snow at night, the snow has melted, but we could also play a video game, or do something like we always did in Luna Nova" I say for her.
"I accept the part of playing, let's go to your chalet and have some fun, there you have a big TV, so it must be very good to play like that, let's get together to play COD or Switch, since it's my birthday, nothing better than a party, if you know what I mean, a Mario party" Sucy said.
And we even smiled at each other, it will be nice to spend time with 50 turns on Mario Party, this will really take a considerable amount of time, and let's call Amanda, Constanze, Jasminka, Diana, Barbara and
Hannah, gather our whole Luna Nova team for this and go to Sifla's cottage, now that will be interesting. We enter there and we were already turning on the Switch, miraculously Sifla wasn't playing Fortnite as usual, which is a sign and a green light for us to go play
"Usually this TV is always dominated by Sifla, she lives here in Fortnite, you must have seen it several times" I say as I already started the game.
"I can't stand it, she's too addicted, have you ever played with her? I have, she can simply do things that border on the impossible and still make fun" said Amanda.
"I've already played a match against her, when I died I just watched the camera and she just doesn't seem to stop, she's very skilled" Sucy said.
"I didn't know you played Fortnite Sucy" I say curious.
"I play, it's very addictive, once you play a match, you just want to play more, I've already spent some money on V bucks, but it's worth it, Sifla is to envy, she's only 8 years old and she's better than us who are adults, I really get amazed with all this, it does not seem that she is 10 years younger, it seems that we are playing with a professional player" said Manbavaran.
"I'll tell you I'm going with Daisy" Amanda said.
"The birthday girl gets Donkey Kong, I will kick everybody, whoever gets Donkey Kong will sleep with his eyes open, you have to be smart not to wake up with a mouth full of potion" Relax we will not get Donkey Kong hahahaha.
"It's all yours, we're not going to take it" O'Neill said.
"I'll go with Toad" I say grabbing Toad and start imitating his thin voice making some giggles come out.
"I'm going with Mario" Lotte said.
"Well then it's going to be the four of us, the red team and Amanda, just like the old days really, it was always the four of us playing together, until Constanze and Jas loosened up and got on with us" Those were good times really, I really miss all of that.
And we started the game, Sucy's party wouldn't be ready without Mario's party too, now chaos is going to be instaured and stars are going to be stolen all over the place, ahhh, I just hope it's going to be a mess and a good fight over stars, it's going to be fun indeed, it's going to be a lot of fun.
And the time went by with the girls playing, a lot of confusion was generated, much because of thestars in Mario Party and the stealing that was going on, but even so it was a fun game, with all theconfusion that was going on, until the night came in Doras, the long-awaited night of new year andthe snow was already falling, this time stronger than at Christmas and with the ground already verywhite.
Sucy is really winning them all, she was too lucky in the game today, but it's because it's her birthday, I'm sure the game hinted that she deserved to win, I don't doubt it at all, well anyway today was a fun day, we could play 3 games of 50 turns, so much time we spend here, we decide to go out, when we went outside the ground was full of snow, it's a good sign.
"Look at the snow, do you know what that means?" I say with a mischievous face.
"I'd like to have a snow fight, but let's see who has the coolest snowman. Let's do what we used to do in Luna Nova on snow days" said Amanda.
"The snow golens?" I ask O'Neill who nods in agreement.
"That's it, let's have a snow golfer fight, let's see who's the most fucked up" Now I really liked it.
"We haven't done this for years, well that's good, the last time was in the winter of 2019, we had to do it on the sly so Anne wouldn't catch us, we ventured to Arcturus and almost took a risk going there" I say laughing.
"That was one of the most reckless things ye lassies have ever done, ye could have turned into a tree with that nonsense, but I'm glad ye lassies got the hang of it, really, you were sae immature" Diana said and I throw a snowball in her face.
"You say that but who was going along too, hahahaha" I say laughing and she was already hitting back.
"Oh yeah Atsuko Kagari I'm now going tae smash yer face in with the strongest golem ye'll ever see" She said and exaggerated as usual.
"Rides more and talks less" Just on that one I end up getting shot by my girlfriend's snowballs, I think someone got annoyed, I forget how she must be those days.
And we go there making snowmen, that after we use magic to make snowmen to fall in the fight, it's almost a pokemon, but with snowmen, we even imitated some times doing that, it's really funny, the snowmen just crawl in the snow and keep making a trail drawing.
I finish mine and give the movement, now that I'm more professional in magic I'm not as bad at magic as I was in the beginning, now we'll see who wins, until I see that Diana didn't make a snowman.
"Diana you made a snow Broly is that serious love?" I say as I see the huge snowman starting to run after mine and even knocking the others down with his arms.
"Broly in the snow hahahaha, he's really big now, all that's left is to shout Kakarotto" said Sucy laughing.
"I told ye I was going tae break yer face" said my girlfriend and the golem got to the point of kicking mine and then throwing a snowball, in the greatest Broly style, really, I realized the reference at the time.
And we were making several snowmen to try to stop the threat that was what Diana did, but she was just playing with us, this thing is not a snowman, it's a threat, it's a threat, it's a I don't know, it's just something too broken, I don't know how to describe it, but anyway, I think now we win, we made a whole combined that even crushed Diana's and now this is all less broken.
"Ah took all the fun out of it" Diana said.
"Woah, I remember I used to do dat a lot when I was a kid, me and Chelsea and April, riding snow golmens, we used to fight dem all de time, and when we dedn't play house with dem when Chelsea insisted, it was too much fun" said Mrs McLaren.
"Really? I could have sworn you didn't know about the golens" I'm even impressed.
"This is one of the classic snow games, I learnt it very early, I must have been 5 or 6 years old when I played like this, April didn't even know she was a girl at the time, but she knew magic, we used to play like this, it was day after day, in winter we used to enjoy the rare snowfalls, since in Ireland it only rains and it's cold, but snow is rare, so we used to play everything in the snow, my great grandmother taught me this one about the golens" How nice, it's good to see that some stories cross.
And we went on with the snow golen war, that's wonderfully fun, I always love doing that stuff, the good times, ahhhhh, I can't wait to pass that on to future generations too and off we went doing some fairer fighting, now it won't be some super ultra broken snowmen at least, at least that.
Later, around midnight...
Now we are really getting tired I lie down in the snow with my friends, as we always do after so much fooling around, Diana stays even beside me and we stare at the sky, seeing a shooting star passing by, I pray for the witches' revolution to come true, but I don't verbalize, I just stare at it passing by.
"Look at that shooting star" I say impressed.
"That's a meteor actually" Diana said, being her usual annoying self.
"Shush we already know that my nerd" I say to my girlfriend who pinches afterwards.
Then not only one, but several, a real rain is passing through the sky and I never thought I would see it like that, the sky here is very different, you can see how the stars are very different from what we usually look at, no doubt it's something different, we are really in an alien world, my theory that this was another planet was real.
But everything is very similar to Earth too, I think we're in connected worlds anyway, looking at the sky like that really enchants me, the meteor shower, I even made sure to film it with my mobile phone, even if it doesn't have that quality.
"Wow the sky looks beautiful" said my Cavendish.
"Nothing more beautiful than your presence here my love" I say being romantic.
"Blehhh, what a silly cliché Akko, you two are too mushy" Amanda said.
"You say that, but you're just as bigoted for Hannah" She even gets quiet.
The meteor shower was very fast, then we even sat down and saw that the fireworks were being organized in the middle of the way, wow, this is going to be the really cool part, I can't wait for the fireworks, and this time woah, it's a lot of boxes, the shed must have been really full, this is going to be here for the whole year I don't doubt it.
"This way even Holbrook will find us hahahaha" I say laughing.
"It was going to be impossible, but dis is going to be my biggest firework display, I thought 2020 was de biggest, but dis 2021, it has a special weight, it's our last year having dese lives dat we 'ave today, if we don't act, de worst can happen, and de revolution needs to happen, one way or another" said Mrs McLaren.
We watched all the fireworks being set up and organized, we even helped to take them out and woah, it is really a lot, there must be at least 100 fireworks here, if not more, it will be burning for many minutes, it will look like a whole festival here in Doras like this, we will look like we have a busy place, but it is all just to celebrate the year among a small village.
We finally get everything out, this whole thing here is definitely more than just 100, there must be overwhelmingly, more than just 100, we then left it up to Mrs McLaren to organise everything and we watched.
"Wow how many McLaren lady have you bought?" I ask her.
"I decided to make a big deal out of it and bought 300 for dis year end, now get ready because we have 10 minutes for the fireworks" said my mother-in-law.
"I am more than ready" I say that and then go and watch on my mobile phone.
I can't wait to see where this is all going, I see people's posts on the internet, they are still talking about us, as if we were the biggest criminals, I really hope that this doesn't affect too much when the revolution happens, I don't want us to end up being wanted for crimes we didn't commit and us to be lynched by the local population because of it.
At midnight
And it was getting to midnight, we were even gathered together, with Mrs. McLaren even making a sign with the magic, showing in the lights the countdown, and we were all holding hands looking and admiring the sky.
"Five, four, three, two, one!" The fireworks went off and now the biggest firework display I've ever seen in my life is coming out, this is more impressive than the one in Japan, the sound is even deafening, we were filming everything, just to register the moment
"Happy New Year" we all said and the lights didn't stop, nor the explosions.
Luckily we were all with ear protectors, Laura really knew that it would be a lot of things and as it was the sky is all bursting marking the beginning of the year, there are many fireworks, lights of all colours for all the side, the fireworks even making a 2021 format to celebrate this year that is about to begin, it will be really something remarkable that will come ahead.
The colours in the sky seemed to never end, but we were really surprised with the show that it was, not even Christmas came close to this, not even 2020 was like this, the witches revolution, this year will mean a lot of things, I'm sure
"A happy new year to all" Laura said while they still had fireworks.
And the fireworks took long, I thought it would be forever, my mobile phone was already shooting 7 minutes and there was still a lot left, gee, the 300 fireworks were really worth, this all to celebrate one year, one revolution around the sun, in our case one revolution around the star that is the planet Arcturus, even so it's beautiful.
11 minutes of fireworks and it stopped, with an epic finale showing the fireworks pointing to the revolution and a happy face in a green aura, that gave us a hope, afterwards we all hugged each other.
"Happy new year love" said Diana.
"For you too darling, you were really one of the best things that happened to my life" I say holding her hand and then we give a kiss and a new year hug.
I hug everyone then, wishing a happy new year, who would say that we are all gathered here in Doras for such a day, I would never dream of a new year with all the family and friends here, gee I'm even loving the place, but I want to be able to go back home soon, to help rebuild the rest of the ashes that were left behind the house that we had already reformed.
"Now we can say, 2020 has come to an end and de new year is coming, 2021 will be de year of changes, more dan those of 2020, will be de year dat will define once and for all what will be of our lives from now on, you can be sure dat lettle ding is not, de witches revolution is a reality near, new horizons for de world dat we will live from now on, enough of being imposed to be what de mundane and older witches want us to be, we are witches, we are free to be what we are, we have de choice, we 'ave our reality, we 'ave everything dat matters de most, dat which is valid for dis world, finally what I 'ave to say is dat from now on we will not lower our heads, we will be united for de good of magic, we will give our strength to win a fight against a world dat does not want us to triumph, but now we will bring a different world, where people will be able to 'ave deir glories and live as dey wish, 'ave deir freedom and de most important of all not be mere pawns of de system" said my mother-in-law and I was really touched, this was one of the most beautiful speeches that I could imagine.
The new year was also arriving in Luna Nova and Holbrook was already celebrating too
POV Miranda:
And now the year is starting, who would have thought it, well at least we are close to causing it, the perfect kingdom of the witches is going to be a reality, we are going to destroy everything that humanity wanted so much to build and they are going to recognize the importance of the witches, I go straight to where they are building the missile and I see that its fairing is ready, how wonderful.
"You see boss, we are almost done" said one of my slaves.
"Excellent, keep it up and your life will be spared in this, everything, soon I will be able to start filling the tank of this thing with negative emotions and we are about to reach another apex of Covid, this will be wonderful, everything has gone as I planned" I say touching the missile's fairing and getting even happy.
"We will do it as soon as possible, the missile will be a real success, we will show you service" They really got quite robotic with the torture, I think I fried their brains.
And then I decide to leave that room, I go to my headmaster's office, when I arrive I am faced with a half dark room with candlelight, what on the other side I see Fafnir, in his female form, woah, it seems he wanted to provoke in the best way, he knew I am more attracted by that form, I even reach the table and go smiling to the beautiful body of my queen.
"Oh who knew you would come" I say smiling.
"I couldn't miss celebrating the start of this wonderful year with you my queen" Fafnir said.
"You have seen that we are advancing a lot, I had to torture my scientists, but now they are doing everything without questioning, they now only wish for death, I do not doubt much, the missile will be ready this spring" I tell the dragon.
"Oh what a wonderful way to start the spring, you were clever, I will love to see the blossoming of the plants coming with mushrooms in this new land that we will then turn into a prosperous kingdom, do like the witches who called themselves gods did in the past" he said and I am really curious.
"So the gods were really witches" I say curiously.

Then I'm kind of reaching out to seduce him for something more, he's giving himself up and I want to experience again what a relationship with this dragon is like, Fafnir is good at it, outside that I get more motivation to continue on my mission, I'm confident that victory will come, since the revolutionaries want to play hide and seek.

And the year 2021 begins, many expectations hang over a crucial year for the lives of these witches, many things that are coming, the witches' revolution that could be the biggest event, or else the nuclear war that could come with Holbrook's attempt to have the power over humanity, are plans that are colliding for a year that could have events that will change the directions of humanity in both directions.
