Severa: When has that ever mattered to you? Aren't you supposed to be some living legend? You bend over backwards for people all the time. Heck, you freed your world from evil, and instead of kicking back and soaking up all the glory, you came here to fight a war for the sake of strangers. What the hell is wrong with you?

Link: ...Yep... A party for all of you who arrived from the future... You should be recognized for coming here to help us in our time of need... After hearing your thoughts, I felt it was necessary, and everyone else felt the same.
Severa: Unbelievable! Do you know how flustered I was? My parents were hugging me, and coddling me. They kept saying how much they love me and how they're sorry, even though they didn't do anything wrong!
Link: ...Did you not enjoy it?
Severa: Duh! Of course I enjoyed it... I just... Ugh... When I get embarrassed, or anxious, or whatever... I deal with it by lashing out and getting angry. The usual Severa treatment, Y'know?
Link: Yeah... I understand you a lot better now.

Link: I'm also not a very social person... At my core, I'm someone who loves to explore and travel. Despite the many friendships I've made on these journeys, I'm not good at maintaining those relationships... I'm lucky to have friends that forgive me when I forget to make time for them... Maybe they understand that I'm always looking for my next adventure in life.

Severa: I've probably liked you for a while now... I think all that jealousy I had bottled up inside just made it hard for me to see it.

Link: I still have some bitter feelings about the way you treated me... While I can forgive you for that, and try my best to get along... to say that I share your feelings would be a lie... I won't string you along just to spare you the pain.

Link: Thanks for understanding... and I'm sorry... I know that there's good in you, but you've never been one for showing that side to me.
Severa: Is there nothing I can do to win you over, Link?... What if I change? Like, really change for the better? I'll stop complaining, and I'll be more positive. I'll stop being so sarcastic and snotty, and I'll start sharing my feelings more. I promise, I will show you the good side of me, and I'll become a woman that you can love one day!
Link: ...Severa, you shouldn't wait around for me. I'm only one guy... You should move forward, and find someone who will love you for who you are.
Severa: But you're worth it. You're worth waiting for, and I want to be a better person because of you. I used to think you were so dumb for helping people out all day, every day... But now I've been infected! Now I want to catch a lady's chickens, and deliver eye drops, and turn cursed, spider people back into regular people, and all of that other crap you've done... but I want to do it with you.
Link: ...I don't know if I should do this, but... once we defeat Grima... If you still have these same feelings... ask me again before I leave for Hyrule, and I promise to give you an honest answer... That's the best I can do.
Severa: Then I'll do it... I'll prove to you that I can change. I'll change so much that you'll have no choice but to confess your undying, passionate love for me! You can bet on it!
A/N:
I feel like my S-Supports are getting stale, so I wanted to try something different. A romantic support ending on a non-committal note was something I tried with Panne, but I felt I could take it further with Severa because of her abrasive personality. I worry that I wrote her to be too unlikable, so I'm sorry if I disappoint any Severa fans with this (I like her too!), but I think her very blatant, rude side contrasting with her hidden heart of gold is what makes her so fun and unique. I'm hoping this chapter reflects that well enough.
