Aversa: Why, hello there, my green, mystery man.
Link: …Hyaaat!... Hyup!...
Aversa: Here you are, running yourself ragged in the middle of the woods, all by your lonesome.
Link: …
Aversa: How about I keep you company, my oh-so diligent hero? Would you enjoy that? When you finally get tired of working those big, strong arms, you can join me for some relaxation. I'm quite good at keeping men satisfied, I'll have you know.
Link: …
Aversa: A wretch like me is not even worth speaking to, is that it?... *sigh* A pity... I was told that you're more willing to "see the good in others", and so I had hope that you might welcome me or even simply indulge me in some light conversation, but that was a foolish wish ... I'm painfully aware of my past mistakes, and it's only fair that I be treated with those in mind.
Link: Aversa... This doesn't have anything to do with your past.
Aversa: ...Truly? Why give me the silent treatment, then?
Link: I know I shouldn't say this, but I've gotta be honest... I ignore you because... you creep me out.
Aversa: E-Excuse me?! Why, you indelicate brat...
Link: You remind me of the great fairies in Hyrule... Showing too much skin... Unpleasantly strong aroma... Always teasing me like there's a joke that I don't get... You just kinda scare me, Aversa...
Aversa: Hmhmhm! Now it's become clear! You're intimidated by my womanly charms, dearest, that's all.
Link: ...Intimidated?... S-Sure, that's one way to put it...
Aversa: Aw, look at how pink in the cheeks you've become! How adorable!... But really, there's no need to feel any shame, dear. You'll be hard-pressed to find a man who can resist my pull. Your response is perfectly natural, I can assure you.
Link: …
Aversa: Oh, don't shy away now! Speak your mind, my cute little hero! Which of my features do you find most alluring, hmm? Is it my hourglass figure? My titillating personality? Could it be my well-rounded proportions that get your blood pumping? Perhaps it's the way my hips sway when I-
Link: Okay, enough, enough... See, this is what makes me nervous. When women start teasing me like this, I... don't know what to do... I freeze up.
Aversa: Do you really struggle so much with female attention? I find that to be rather bewildering... You have a toned body, a kind heart, and a heroic past... Don't you have girls flocking to you?
Link: ...Maybe a little... I don't make myself very... available, to be fair... Sometimes, if a girl is being too forward with me, I'll just... run away.
Aversa: Hah! You are absolutely precious... You should know, though... Playing hard to get can lead you into trouble. Some women, like the fiercely determined types, will pursue you even harder once you turn them down... I would know!
Link: Y-Yeah, I'm aware... I've met a few like that already... Like Ruto...
Aversa: It's really not so bad, dear. Why not give one of those girls a fair shake? Indulge in the passion of lust once in a while! You never know; if the chemistry is just right, fleeting attraction can turn into something life-changing... Not a bad deal, hmm?
Link: ...Nah... I've got more important things to focus on.
Aversa: Hmph... I don't think you realize what you're missing out on, but it's your loss, not mine.

Aversa: My dashing stud of a hero... Whatever will I do with you? I find you out here, yet again, training in this humid forest. There are repulsive, nauseating insects all around us, waiting to feast on my beautiful skin, and you still choose this location?
Link: ...*pant*... I didn't ask you to come here... *pant* Just leave...
Aversa: And desert my most treasured friend? I would never!
Link: ...You seem to have taken a shine to me...
Aversa: Hee hee! Indeed, I have. You're quite the interesting man, my dear. The rest of Chrom's ragtag gang is noticeably dull in comparison.
Link: Hey, don't be like that... There are tons of interesting people here... If you're willing to put up with my quiet self, you can get along with the others, too.
Aversa: ...*sigh* It's depressing to admit this aloud, but I'm afraid there's hardly anyone in this army who will even give me a chance.
Link: ...What do you mean?
Aversa: No one else will bother with me. Most of them avoid me like a disease... I'm an outcast.
Link: ...You must not feel very welcome here... I'm sorry that things have to be this way.
Aversa: Stop that. These circumstances are better than I could have ever hoped for. I have been given the opportunity to repent of my wicked ways, you see, and that is enough.
Link: Still... I could convince some of them to-
Aversa: Drop it, Link!... I've done horrible things to you all. I've taken lives from this army... They are well within their rights to stay away from me.
Link: ...Okay...
Aversa: Besides, it's not as though any of that matters. I've got you, my kind and caring, hunk of a hero! You will never abandon me. This I know.
Link: *sigh*...
Aversa: And my, oh, my... just look at you, my dear. Thanks to your workout, you're drenched in sweat... Those poor muscles of yours must be aching right about now.
Link: That's the goal... Aching muscles lead to stronger muscles... I'll be fine.
Aversa: You'll be fine, but you could be better... Tell you what; ditch that filthy tunic of yours, give your body over to me, and let me work my magic on you.
Link: ...Wh-What is that supposed to mean?
Aversa: I'll give you a massage, love. What did you think I meant?
Link: …A massage, huh?
Aversa: Hmhm! You were anticipating something more scandalous, were you? Oh, you dirty boy!
Link: Goddess, Aversa... Why are you such a handful?
Aversa: Mmm! You'd appreciate a handful of me, wouldn't you?... But seriously, what do you say? May I grant you some relief? My graceful hands will make those aches and pains disappear, my dear. Just lay down, and I'll handle the rest.
Link: ...N-No... I'll pass... but thanks.
Aversa: ...Are you really so afraid of me? You act like a schoolboy frightened of catching a girl's cooties! I'm not going to hurt you or take advantage of you in any way. I enjoy teasing, but that's all it is... Teasing.
Link: …I understand, but... I'm just uneasy around you... You're so forward and flirty, and I'm not good at handling that... You touching all over my body will leave me more stressed than before.
Aversa: Is there an underlying issue at play here? Do you have a bad history of dealing with overzealous admirers?
Link: I think it's mostly a lack of experience... When it comes to stuff like... romance, and love, and hormones... For someone of my age, I'm probably clueless about it all.
Aversa: If experience is the problem, then you're in luck! I happen to be a master of the sensual arts, dear, and my teachings are very thorough. Spend a single night with me, and you'll have learned all there is to learn!
Link: Psh... Yeah, nice try...

Link: Hey, Aversa... How's it going?
Aversa: Well, hello, dearest! Now that you're with me, my mood is already so much brighter, hmhm!
Link: Are you... busy with anything?... I was wondering if you'd like to go on a trip with me... It'll take up most of the day, though, if you're okay with that.
Aversa: Really now? An all-day excursion with my adorable, green hero? That would be delightful, love... It certainly beats suffering alone in boredom...
Link: Great! I'll get the tools and supplies ready, and we'll leave in an hour... See you then.
Aversa: ...Tools?... What kind of trip awaits me, I wonder?
-Scene Fade Out/Fade In-
Aversa: Now, dearest... I would never object to spending some much needed-quality time with you, but... what is there to do in this dilapidated, run-down, sorry excuse for a village?
Link: See, you're already catching on... We're here to help, Aversa... By the end of the day, this sorry excuse for a village will look just a bit more impressive than it did.
Aversa: ...Is this a joke?... This is our excursion?... I'm to spend my whole day fixing up this grimy hellhole?
Link: Well... The decision is still yours to make... but I'll be here with you, at least. Your day is brighter with me in it, right?
Aversa: Nnngh... I feel as though I've been had...
Link: I talked with the villagers yesterday, and I've got a few jobs lined up... Chopping firewood, digging graves, cooking for a feast, building repairs...
Aversa: Cooking? Manual labor? I thought my atonement would only involve dishing out punishment... Is this some sort of trial? You're assessing me, aren't you? Trying to see if I'm capable of doing some good, hmm?
Link: ...Huh?
Aversa: You're on, love! I'm a good girl when I want to be, and I'll make sure you don't forget it!
Link: ...Uh... Okay... That's not what I'm doing, but... whatever gets you motivated, I guess.
Aversa: What's first on our agenda, dear?
Link: First, you need to change your clothes.
Aversa: Huh?!
Link: Look at what you're wearing, Aversa... It leaves nothing to the imagination.
Aversa: Oh! Sneaking a peek at my luscious curves, big boy? I didn't expect that from you!
Link: That's the problem. It's impossible not to... Your entire outfit is revealing. You need to cover up.
Aversa: I don't show skin only for personal comfort, Link. My appearance is a weapon, you see. It allows me to tempt foolish men, toy with their desires, and get what I want.
Link: We're not here to "tempt men"... We're here to lend our aid, so put this other outfit on.
Aversa: *sigh* Yes, dear...
-Scene Fade Out/Fade In-
Aversa: Ughhh, I feel utterly dreadful... A wilted flower that is destined to shrivel up and fade away... That's what I am now...
Link: Ahh! What a day, huh? We got everything done, just as planned.
Aversa: And my reward? Sore bones, fatigue, and a layer of sweat covering me... I despise working up a sweat...
Link: Yeah... Sweating sucks... but this is the good kind of sweat... When you sweat for the betterment of others? That's the best feeling in the world.
Aversa: There's only one circumstance where sweat is acceptable... When I'm under the sheets with a big, burly man, and we're-
Link: Thank you for today, Aversa.
Aversa: ...Hmm?
Link: I didn't think you'd go along with this... but you did, and you really committed. You were working like a madwoman out there.
Aversa: Hmph... If you're going to do a job, do it well.
Link: And so you did... The villagers were so grateful, too. They couldn't get over how kind and beautiful you are... You enjoyed talking with them, huh?
Aversa: So that was your plan. Guilt trip me into playing nice, and I'll hopefully make some new friends?
Link: That was... part of it.
Aversa: You're a clever man, but the rest of our evening plans are out of your control.
Link: ...What evening plans?
Aversa: I played your little game, now you play mine... Let's go swimming, my dear. Just the two of us.
Link: ...Swimming?
Aversa: I need to unwind... Cleanse this nasty sweat from my pores... I'm long overdue for some rest and relaxation.
Link: ...Could we unwind some other way?... Maybe without having to take off our-
Aversa: Usually I prefer to soak in the waters while I'm completely bare-skinned, but I purchased a ravishing new bathing suit the other day that I'm dying to show off. I think you'll be quite taken with it, my dear... You will be joining me, yes?
Link: ...Uhh...

Aversa: Oh my! Look at that dazzling gemstone ring, my love!... You'll get it for me, won't you? A piece of jewelry that fetching deserves to be wrapped around the finger of an equally dazzling maiden, does it not?
Drunkard: Ehh?! O-Of course, babe!... But, uh... It's awfully expensive... I've only got so much coin, and-
Aversa: Make it work, love. You're hungry for some action later tonight, aren't you? Well, you have to treat a woman right if you expect to be rewarded. It isn't difficult to understand.
Drunkard: R-Right, I get it! I might not be able to pay for a room afterward, but I'll buy you this ring, babe! Whatever you want, you've got it!
Aversa: Hmhm... That's a good boy...
Link: Excuse me, sir... She's here with me... Would you mind leaving?
Drunkard: Huh? You... I thought... Rrrgh! You lying harlot! What's the big idea? You think you're gonna get away with leading me on, and-
Link: Sir... Just leave quietly, or else I'll remove you.
Drunkard: Wh-What the... Kid's got a sword! Screw this! I don't want any trouble!
Aversa: ... Link! You always have to be the hero, don't you?... I had that idiot trapped in the palm of my hand! Why did you ruin everything?!
Link: ...I thought he was harassing you...
Aversa: No, I approached him, I'm afraid... I noticed him ogling my body from afar, so I decided to string him along. I play up the charm, he thinks he's in for a night of pleasure, I pressure him into buying me something nice, and then I slip away while he's gorging on mead... It's effortless, really.
Link: Aversa... Even if they're rude, you can't do stuff like this anymore... Aren't you trying to turn your life around?
Aversa: ...D-Damn it, you're right! I do want to repent! How could that slip my mind?... *sigh* Old habits die hard, I suppose...
Link: Heh... Just try not to let it happen anymore... And sorry, I honestly didn't know what you were up to... I saw his hand draped around your shoulder, and...
Aversa: ...and what, dear?
Link: Oh, goddess... Was I jealous just now?... Was that why I got so angry?
Aversa: You're unsure? You're failing to recognize your own emotions?
Link: I... I've felt envious of others before, sure, but... not like this... For a second there, I wanted to kill that guy...
Aversa: Haha! Isn't this amusing? What does all this mean, my love? Have you fallen for my irresistible appeal at last?
Link: Oh no... What if I have?
Aversa: I've caught you now, so just fess up, dear. You're enamored with me.
Link: Well... You once told me that "fleeting attraction can turn into something life-changing"... So, why not take the chance, right?... Would you... like to go on a date with me, Aversa?
Aversa: To so boldly accept your feelings? You're surprising me, love... You sure I'm the woman for you, though? I'm responsible for many unforgivable crimes... You mustn't forget that...
Link: I know... but we see the truth now. Validar manipulated you. He used you... and now you've turned away from that life... You were brainwashed, so I'm willing to look beyond your past.
Aversa: Oh, Link, my dearest... That's it, then! I'm all yours, so let's not waste any time... There's an inn nearby. We'll grab a cheap room, and then I can show you the full extent of my love!
Link: N-No, no! Look, I'm... not ready for any of that...
Aversa: Tch! What is the problem?... You want me, don't you?
Link: I've mentioned it before... and it's hard to explain... I'm just no good with flirting, and this... sexually charged stuff?... It puts me on edge... I start to feel strange emotions and react in weird ways.
Aversa: ...You're a traveler. Yet, you make it sound as though you've been sheltered your whole life... Are you sure you're telling me the truth?
Link: I don't wanna go into details, but... I grew up a lot faster than other people... I feel like I'm still discovering certain feelings and sensations for the first time... I'm kinda lost, I guess... So, is it okay if we start slow? Maybe... we can just get to know each other better?
Aversa: Hmm... Yes, love. It's all right with me. If you're uncomfortable with a hands-on approach, then we'll speak no more of it. When it comes to boundaries, I do enjoy pushing my luck with you, but I promise that I'll never cross that line... I value our time together far too much to make that mistake.
A/N:
An early review that I received for Ricken's chapter discussed the idea of Link's accelerated childhood and how this could result in him struggling with puberty/emotions because of his new body and mind. I thought it was a great idea, and during my editing of older chapters, I made a few changes in Ricken's B support to expand more on it. However, I never felt like I explored it fully. (I don't know if I managed that here, either, to be honest.)
With Aversa, sexuality is an important part of her character, so I felt her chapter would provide a good opportunity to revisit the idea. My aim was to showcase a side of Link that is overwhelmed by an aggressive love interest, and provide a story-related reason for why he is that way.
In the end, I think it came out okay. If anything, I feel like this chapter is too different compared to the real dialogue of Awakening. The actual game probably wouldn't touch on that topic, but... oh well. It's always fun to try something more unique, at least.
