It wasn't a lie to say that Maschenny and Ran were surprised at the sudden tremendous development of Amelina's skill.

Especially Maschenny.

The Jahad princess had purposely left Amelina to train alone just to see the girl finally giving up (and maybe even plead for more hints on her assignment), but apparently that wasn't exactly the case for this couple of days.

In fact, instead of uselessly scattering around her shinsoo without any delicate control, Amelina actually managed to create a lightning spear. Heck, anyone older would find it hard to even determine the shape precisely!

But there Amelina was, an aqua lightning spear in hand, a few feet taller than the girl herself.

"Look! Big sis Maschenny! I did it!" the panting Amelina cheered, dangerously waving around her newly-made shinsoo spear.

Amidst her giggles, the Jahad princess wordlessly went to Amelina and without any warning, kicked the girl square in the guts.

Anyone like Amelina would double over in pain after receiving the surprise attack (or so she thought).

"Oofffff..." Amelina clutched on her throbbing stomach, inwardly cursing the older female with many kinds of cussing she could think of as her spear dissipated into thin air.

"Don't get too conceited with just one 'tiny' spear. And don't ever let your guard down in a battlefield," Maschenny chuckled, crouching down to take a clearer view of Amelina's pained expression.

"...I understand..." Amelina managed to cough out. She even felt like throwing up now.

Standing back up, Maschenny drowned herself in various theories and thoughts, studying the fragile figure of her little sister. 'I didn't expect her progress to be this quick. Did father taught her? Or someone else did? And did she really learnt to stabilize her shinsoo in such a short time?'

Then again, only Amelina had the answer to all those questions.

Maschenny took a short glance towards Ran who had stayed out of training at the side and back to the somewhat pouting girl. She even gave up clutching on her pained sides.

'Perhaps...'

"Amelina, do you want to be a Jahad princess?"

A tired Amelina sighed happily on Ran's back, her arms secured around the boy's neck. The boy had graciously offered a piggy-back ride and seeing Miru wasn't present (plus she was too lazy to walk by herself), she gladly accepted the offer.

"I'm glad you're looking better now."

"Pfft, you're calling this better?" Amelina snorted, purposely waving her bruised arms in front of Ran's face. "I think I had more of these than ever."

The girl pouted when Ran only chuckled at her dramatic demeanor. At least she still has the energy to play around.

"I'm not talking about that, though. Before, you were pretty down when you thought you weren't a jeonsulsa, remember?"

"Ah.. I'm not exactly hoping to become one."

Though only a few days had passed, but it seemed forever since the whole Lightning Pill ordeal, when Ran offered her to eat one.

Now that she think back about it, what Ran offered her back then clearly looked suspicious, yet her trust towards Ran probably ran deeper than any doubt she'd felt at the time.

"By the way, did Maschenny really taught you those techniques? It seemed quite unfamiliar," Ran asked out of curiosity. He'd recognize it right away if it was Maschenny's or even his father's, but it doesn't seem to be the case.

"Ah, actually there's this person-"

'Wait,' Amelina pondered, finally realizing something very important. 'Now that I think about it...'

"I forgot to ask for his name!!"

"Huh?"

"What an interesting choice..."

"Amelina, do you want to be a Jahad princess?"

The said girl looked up to stare at Maschenny with that big, curious eyes in confusion. Anyone would wonder why would the older female suddenly asks such questions.

Even Ran had came to help Amelina up, also curious of the girl's answer.

"I... don't want it."

"What?" both of the siblings widened their eyes at the now sitting girl.

"I don't want to become a Jahad princess," Amelina answered, more firmly this time. "I'm fine staying in this... family."

"...is that so?"

The tall silhouette of the Jahad princess leaned by the window, gazing down the two platonic little siblings of hers drowned in laughters.

She had ended the training a few moments prior, leaving her some time to think about various things thoroughly.

"Khun Amelina Jahad..." Maschenny grinned, satisfied with how perfect the name rings in her ears. Walking away from the aperture, a glint in the female's eyes indicate her confidence in the matter. "Don't think you can easily brush that aside, Ame.

I'll definitely make you into a princess."
