Disclaimer: I do not own RWBY, Assassin's Creed, or The Gamer. The only thing I have even the most tenuous claim to ownership of is my Self Insert/Original Character.
System inspired and influenced by that of A New Player In The Force by USSExplorer. Check out his story if you like Star Wars. It's a great read.

The night after I started living with Tai, I found myself in the guest room. He told me that he would be building my room as soon as he could and laughed at the confused expression on my face.
"I did the same thing for the girls' rooms. Don't even think of trying to change my mind." Were his last words on the subject as he bid me good night.
I lay down to try to get some rest after this crazy day, only to see another textbox floating in my vision.

Y/N]
Thinking that I'd go ahead and get it over with, I went ahead and thought out, 'Yes.'
[Beginning Tutorial Dungeon]
'Dungeon!' I thought, but it was already too late, as in a bright flash I was in a large empty room with a door at the other end of the room.
[Welcome to the Tutorial Dungeon
Would you like to start the ability overview?
Y/N]
"What else am I exactly supposed to do here?" I say, only the slightest bit annoyed.
[You must say or think one of the viable answers]
"Yes," I finally say after staring at the text box for a solid minute.

"Sure," I say, finding the information useful but undeniably boring. "Oh, for the love… Yes!" I exclaim after realizing my mistake when the text box shows no change.

The Equipment Screen allows you to add Equipment to your body from your inventory
Equipped Items will always fit the host
Equipped Items are not preserved in the state they were equipped in and will require maintenance and repair when subjected to use.
Some Equipment will give boosts to primary or secondary Stats

Quests can also be created by the host focusing on a desired task.
Quests will be scaled by difficulty level (F-SSS).
The higher the difficulty level, the higher the Rewards and Penalties.

Party System
Parties can be formed between the Host and those he comes into contact with through mutual consent.
Party Members share some aspects of the System with the Host.
These include:
Party Chat: Mental communication between party members through the system
Dungeoneering: Party members can accompany The Gamer into dungeons. If a Party Member is not physically present, they will receive a teleport request, which they can ignore or accept.
Party Members will receive a simplified form of Quest Notification, with only Applicable Objectives visible to them.

I quickly equipped the gear my parents left me, even if the guns were out of dust. I wanted to be able to keep them close, and with the system, they fit just right. "All right," I say. "Let's see what this door has in store for me." I approach the door, and a System message pops up.
[Would you like to enter the E-ranked Dungeon
THE GRIMM DEN OF THE BEOWOLFS?
Y/N]
Taking a deep breath to psych myself up for this, I give the only answer I really can. "Yes," I say, with as much confidence as I can muster.
The door opens, and before me I see a shadowy forest. The gnarled bark and twisted trunks only add to the sinister air that seems to have settled over the copse of trees.
'All it's missing is a little background music.' I think.
[Playing "The Hunter"-Sam Tinnez
All the music that the host is familiar with has been loaded onto the system for your listening pleasure]
'Nice,' I think. As the music starts, I hear a lone beowolf howling nearby. Drawing my robe tight around my body, I do my best to sneak up on the grimm as my hidden blades release with a soft sound. "Schnick schnick."
I find the beast in a shadowed clearing with its back turned to me. I fire off a quick Observe to see what I'm up against.
[Beowolf-E
LV.1
HP:100/100]
Doing my best to silence my footsteps, I approach it slowly before leaping onto its back and rapidly stabbing my blades into its neck. Black blood sprays out and covers my hands as the beowolf's howl of surprise is cut off as it falls apart into black smoke.
[Skill Discovered- Sneak:

Gained 100 EXP]
'No exit notification,' I realize. 'Guess this isn't over just yet.' I flick my blades back into my gauntlets before taking to the trees. As I make my way through the branches, I hear another howl amidst the woods, but this time there is an answering howl from close by. Activating my Sneak Skill, I carefully make my way through the forest canopy until I find the closest beowolf. As it raises its head to howl again, I drop down on it. Lodging one blade through its eye, I attack the throat furiously with the other. As my target slowly disintegrates, I hear the second grimm loping towards me. Too late to hide, I jump up and grab a low-hanging branch before swinging myself at the beast. I lodged both my blades into its glowing red eyes, blinding it, before pushing off its chest to get some distance. As the lupine monster staggers towards me, I jump into the trees once more and leap onto the beast's back. I wrap my right hand around its throat to keep my balance and jab my left blade into its throat rapidly six times in a row before the creature starts to disintegrate like its fellows.

The night goes on, with each wave of beowolves increasing by 1. After the pack of 10, however, the waves stop, and I look at the system message I had been ignoring until now.

Begin Boss Fight
Y/N]
"Looks like this is it," I mutter as I pant from the recent exertion of battle with the largest pack. I had been lucky to only lose a third of my HP throughout the night. Between that and my expended STAM, I decide to climb up the nearest tree and allow myself to recover back to optimal condition. I check them both after about half an hour before starting the final fight for the night. 'Yes,' I think to the system as I prepare my blades.
[Beginning Boss Fight]
[Good Luck Player]
Immediately after the message disappears, a loud howl breaks through the silence that had previously hung over the forest. A howl more powerful than any I had heard before that night. As the large black and white beast breaks into the clearing, I fire off a quick Observe at it.
[Radulf-D
Alpha Beowolf
LV.5
HP:500/500]
This one was five times as strong as any of the ones I had fought before, and I realized this was going to be the toughest fight of the night even with the number of enemies dropping back down to 1.
AN: Second chapter done; going to try to stick with a weekly update schedule. Sorry for the cliffhanger. Well not really, but I said it, so we're all good, right. A little longer than my last chapter, but I don't think I'll make them much longer than this unless I feel the situation calls for it. Small Timeskip coming up in a couple chapters or so, followed by a larger one that will jump to the Trailer time period.
XxEnderhunterxX- Thank you for your review. Yeah, no MP bar. I just don't really like how it kind of crashes Remnants' whole power balance. MC may get a few extra abilities as a sort of "sub-semblance" but he's not going to get Maiden style magic or anything. I'm currently going with only an Active Aura Shield being able to block Hidden Blades, so any target will have to know they're coming to block them. Though most of his kills are going to be against Grimm. His Hidden Blades are going to be dust infused for use in tournament matches and such. I'm planning for a de-aged Neo/MC pairing. Though MC isn't going to start dating until at least Beacon.
