Sorry for not updating for a while but now I'm back. I've realized I shouldn't push myself but I'll try not to leave you hanging for months again
The day he was allowed to leave the hospital finally roles around
It had been two days and by this time chansey had accepted that mimikyu wouldn't or couldn't talk and just decided that he was silently enjoying everything
The girl had visited several times and sometimes she brang snacks
He still didn't know her name but he was sure he'd find out eventually
Nurse joy had discovered that he didn't belong to that girl and she had a releaser ready to bring him into the wild
Mimikyu sat up as chancey walked into the room
"Are you ready to go?" She asked
A tall man in a black flannel and black trousers was standing in the doorway
He'd seen the guy walking the door several times
He was the guy who released the Pokémon back into protected areas
He walked into the room and placed a carrier box on the bed Infront of him
Nurse joy was behind the man and was now standing next to the bed
"Alright, this man here's gonna take you to your new home so you'll have to go with him" she said as she opened the gate on th box
Chansey and nurse joy were giving reasuring smiles and the man also had a reasuring look on his face
Mimikyu slowly crawled into the carrier and the door was closed
the box was lifted up but the man started having a conversation with nurse joy
When they had finished talking mimikyu was carried through the long white halls of the pokecenter
He passed room after room and he saw all different types of Pokémon
Mightyena, Pikachu, vulpix and all different types of Pokémon were all lying in beds
Others were just doing check ups while others were in extensive care
As mimikyu was carried through the lobby and was almost out the door a familiar voice stopped them
The girl that had brought him in had stopped the man was was now looking very nervous
"I was wondering if I could…uh…" she had mumbled
nurse joy was walking behind the man and bent down next to the girl "what was that sweety?" She asked in a present tone
"I was wondering if I could keep the…uh…Mimikyu" she mumbled
"You want to keep the mimikyu?" Nurse joy asked "well that depends on the mimikyu"
The cage was placed on a counter and Connor crawled out
Everyone was looking at him "Do you want to go with this nice girl here or do you want to go back to the wild?" nurse joy asked
Mimikyu looked at the girl and then to the man in he flannel
If he went to the wild it would be difficult for him to get stronger and he would have to scavenge every day but if he went with the girl he'd get battle experience, a roof over his head and food, plus the girl was quite cute
Mimikyu crawled towards the girl and the decision was made
The girl looked overjoyed and nurse joy also looking really happy
"You'll have to sign some documents first before you can take him" nurse joy said
Nurse joy lead the girl towards a nearby dest and pulled out some documents from one of the compartments in her dress
Mimikyu was watching intensely at the document when the girl signed them and he finally got her name

After signing the documents Emma bent down and gave mimikyu a hug
They had never had physical contact before but this was one of the best hugs Connor had ever had
