(Hey everyone here's the newest chapter I made for this story. I'm sorry for not being able to do so before today as the heat wave I had to deal with was unbearable... And I also needed to recharge my batteries as the saying goes so I don't develop Writer's Block again.
Instead of Shockwave this time we're focusing on another of the Heralds. One of which I'm sure you are familiar with as being the only decepticon to have attempted to usurp leadership and survive as many times as he has. That's right it's Starscream! the Sky Commander himself! I had to look into many different medias related to the Aligned Continuity that was used as well as look elsewhere to make some sense of his history before becoming a Decepticon and I hope, as the adamant fan that i am for Starscream, that I got it correct. If you are a fan of Starscream as well put "All Hail Starscream" with your review after reading this chapter.
This is another story relating to Transformers RWBY that was started by Ryujudge6614, if you read this but do not know about anything else I ask you to read "Transformers RWBY: Flames of Redemption" by RyuJudge6614 and "Transformers RWBY: Light of Hope" by myself to help fill in the blanks of this story.

Shockwave approached his computer terminal again in his armor, having taken all logical steps to ensure that the Cortical Psychic Patch would not cause the same mental feedback as it did before for his organic body.
The door to his chamber opened as in walked Starscream as he with his arms behind his back. His organic form's attire seemed to be reflecting on the bodily format he took when he scanned that earthling air vehicle. His body mass and organic frame appeared similar to how Starscream was on Cybertron before scanning the primitive aircraft.
Seeing the scientist before him Starscream demanded, "What is the meaning of this Shockwave! Why have you called upon me during my time of training with our… new comrades?"
"It is time for you to input your existence since emerging from the Allspark into this terminal. As requested by Lady Salem and our Benefactor." Shockwave stated as he punched in the last few commands onto the computer console with his hand.
"What? You mean to digitize my mind?" Starscream asked, outraged.
If Shockwave's eyes were visible, the former Skycommander would see Shockwave rolling his eyes, before stating, "You're central processor will remain in your helm component. It is merely a digital copy of your life for my experiment should one of our own find this terminal if we fail our Benefactor."
"Oh please… just because he has obtained the ability to appear like a spectre and make any who had Dark Energon in their veins feel pain, does not make that colossal brute our benefactor." Starscream rebuked. Shockwave grabbed the seeker by the arm and forced him forward towards the scientist's examination table.
"Are you certain that this will not cause my head to explode with us as organics now?" Starscream asked, scared. He saw Shockwave approach with the patch, connecting one end to his terminal and getting ready to proceed to connect it to Starscream's neck.
"I have tested the technology and made the appropriate changes myself. Other than a processor-ache, you will not suffer anymore adverse mental effects than you already have." Shockwave pointed out.
The last thought Starscream had was, 'Did Shockwave make a joke at me?' Before the patch connected and Starscream's eyes became unfocused.
Shockwave then approached, "Computer. Access main database."
The screen turned on again and the display showed, "ACCESSING… _ _ _ ENERGY SIGNATURE MATCH: CONFIRMED. WELCOME SHOCKWAVE. AWAITING USER INPUT."
Shockwave stood unblinkingly forward as he spoke, "Activate data-log file: Sky Commander. Chronostamp by standardized Cybertronian date 820.15"
The screen showed the computer opening a different data file written in Cybertronian Script as "SKY COMMANDER", as the computer stated, "ACTIVATING… _ _ _ FIREWALLS AND DATA SAFEGUARDS: DISENGAGED. CORTICAL PSYCHIC PATCH: CONNECTION ESTABLISHED. ORGANIC PROTECTION FROM LINK: OPERATIONAL. DATA-LOG FILE: SKY COMMANDER: OPENED. AWAITING FOR VOCAL INPUT TO BEGIN DATA-LOG."
Turning to Starscream, Shockwave spoke, "Shockwave's log: Under the Sub-Category "Starscream" for the data logs. I do not know much of Starscream's life before his recruitment by Lord Megatron in his attempt to gain the synthesized version of Dark Energon in the orbital station Trypticon under the command of neutral commander for a Cybertronian century since outbreak of the war. It is highly probable that the answers will be discovered from his memory tracks."
Approaching, Shockwave stated with a mic device, "Speak into this as you spoke about your past experiences."
Starscream stared blankly at the ceiling as he spoke, "I… was constructed just as the Quintessons conquered Cybertron. They found my design intriguing as soon as they noticed me. Because of their need to make our society with their class system. The Quintesson territorial lord of the City-state Vos had made me his prince-viceroy to dictate his word of law and as a member of his scientific team to study more about my people's physiology in relation to their vehicle modes, as the humans call them. Because of my position from the moment of my birth and education, I was placed in luxury that many would only dream about. It was there that I believed that I was destined for greatness."
/Shows from Starscream's point of view as his optics open and seeing him standing before a group of beings like him. He walks forward where three of the Quintesson Judges approaches explaining his body. Their words lost to him as he noticed how they seem to be taking notices about the aerial appearance that his armor has before bringing it before a Cybertronian who nods and walked away. Image changes to show Starscream standing in a high quality like building which overlooks the city he is in with the Quitesson Judge with him as the two looks over the data they receive from the Cybertronians in their unique appearances and the alternate forms that went with it. Image changes to Starscream enjoying all the privileges of those who serve directly under the Judge in the high class under the Quintesson. /
Starscream then spoke, "However, I began to notice an injustice to everything that the Quintessons were doing with their rule attempting to strip away the citizen's need to express emotion or trying to limit our body frame and transformation alternate form. One night, when the Judge was recharging his energy, I noticed a frightening truth that the Quintessons were planning to reduce our people into becoming empty mechanical drones to use as slaves and cannon fodder. Those with body types similar to Solus Prime were majorly spared from such a destructive fate on the battlefield due to some personal reason the Quintessons had… but I digress. I was able to download the plans that I discovered and went to the head of the Elite Guard, Sentinel and showed my findings. To say that he was… slightly upset would be an understatement… I suppose that was where I first learned of betrayal."
/Shows images of Starscream noticed something wrong with the data and instructions he receive from the Quintesson is not making sense to him as it looks like the instructions are telling him to make attempts to change the alternate forms of the already made Cybertronians to be more a part of their class system, and to make the citizens less emotional. Image chances to Starscream hacking into the Quintesson Judge's personal terminal and discovering what the Quintessons had planned. How they planned to make the Cybertronians either slaves like the drones, or weapons like the Baliff class. Starscream gritted his dentures in fury at this, seeing how those made in the same body frame would be common aerial soldiers. The only ones spared from this cannon fodder fate where those Cybertronians with the same body frame and similar personalities as Solus Prime. He downloads the information and then flies out of there before he is seen, covering his tracks. Scene changes to show Starscream approaching the Elite Guard academy where he changes forms and approaches the front door. After some arguments with the guards, he is invited in by the head of the Elite Guard, Sentinel. The two sit as Starscream did his show and tell of what he discovered from the Quintesson personal logs. Sentinel narrowed his optics at seeing the evidence before slamming his fist into his desk, causing a loud sound which is heard and deep indents into the surface of his desk./
Starscream sighed and he spoke, "I was the inside man for the Resistance, pretending to show such loyalties to the five faced deceivers while sending any information I could gather for the Resistance. Even though I was a politician and scientist, I had learned the ways of spy and infiltrator quickly, for if I failed then our people would be lobotomized into mindless drones."
Shockwave heard this before thinking, 'I see… this explains a lot of Starscream's history especially how he remained in a high position after the Quintessons were pushed off Cybertron.'
"But that was when I was betrayed from my position as Sky Commander of Energon Seekers and became a member of the senate instead. A position that I risked life, limb, and spark for the resistance against the Quintessons. Yet I was betrayed and only had a figure head position that reminded me of the past and I hate it!" Starscream hissed.
/A flyer with blue armor and yellow accent colors on his armor stand with his back to Starscream as Starscream reaches out towards this person. Image changes to show Starscream is back again at the palace he was in while serving the Quintesson. Others whisper behind Starscream's back about taking charge like their previous ruler. Starscream sees his reflection as his anger turns sour and slams his fist against the window./
"But I did meet someone who shared my scientific interest after my return to the glorified figurehead of Vos. Jetfire, an innocent fool. But dedicated to becoming a scientist. For my dream to be realized, I bartered with him to learn how to fight as I taught him the ways of a scientist. During our Cycles together we became friends, most likely the closest I had ever bonded with since my creation."
/Starscream seen pushing himself towards his endeavors as a scientist to ignore the situation he is in until he meets a younger flyer whose armor colors are red, white, and silver. Scene changes to show as Starscream works, the younger bot, Jetfire, watching in amazement at this. Image changes to Starscream seeing the young flyers prowess in combat. The two meet up and speak inaudibly to each other where they shake hands. Visual montage of Starscream teaching Jetfire about being a scientist as Jetfire teaches Starscream to fight. The two hanging out as best of friends./
Starscream sighed and stating, "That's when things started to get worse for our civilization when the Plague of Rust swept unknowingly among our empire. It reduced many Cybertronians throughout the colony worlds into piles of dust within a day. This caused panic amongst our citizens from every corner of Cybertronian space as those who wanted to save their friends, their loved ones, and their personal interests would unknowingly put themselves or others at risk as the plague was contagious on contact. The majority of the afflicted were rumored to have come from the colony worlds founded under Animatron and others similar to them. There were rumors that it was manufactured as a means to 'purify' our species from some drivel of 'organic infection'. Though I had never seen one before so I didn't have an honest opinion compared to the Quintessons and their mutated pets. Before we had even begun to research a means to cure this infection, Sentinel Prime had announced to all that in order to keep the worlds from falling from the plague that he and the council had no choice but to destroy all of the space bridges, cutting Cybertron and all colony words off from each other to prevent more spread and the destruction of our species."
/Starscream was working on his latest research when an emergency from a colony world where satellite images showed a plague has turned all of the inhabitance, structures, and vehicle originated from Cybertron had become rust dust in matter of hours, the worse of it became like that in a day. The panic was heard from Starscream's quarters as some visitors from the colony world attempt to return home to help their people or save their loved ones. News reports on which planets have fallen to the plague. During this time Starscream hears whispers from his subordinates about how the plague came to be and who might be responsible. Scene changes to show Starscream with any and all scientists or medics to begun researching the data on the rust plague to develop a cure for it when they were ordered to stop and a holographic announcement from Sentinel Prime appeared. He speaks to everyone about a way to save them was to cut every planet of their empire off from each other, especially from Cybertron to keep their race from going extinct./
Starscream remained silent as he continued, "During the Age of Rust, as people called it, we had begun to take on the attributes that the Quintessons wanted of us, putting us into Sentinel Zeta Prime's Caste System, becoming socially apathic, and placing everyone on Cybertron, as the humans called it, under martial law. One day I noticed a showing from the Gladitorial competitions of Kaon, with him… there. Introducing himself with a name befitting only of a prime. However, how he fought was almost as if he was channeling the spark of one of the original thirteen. I must say that I was initially drawn to watch his matches as were the masses. But I was more focused on my own pursuits to care about a gladiator who may or may not survive. What really drew my attention was the fact that one of the former High Council members, Soundwave, had left the high council and became a gladiator. It made no sense as to why would give up such power that he gained for himself. Only he would not say due to his Vow of Silence. I was clearly surprised by how some brute as he was able to get an ample following, especially from my own subordinates."
/Shows from Starscream's point of View as he sees a visual transmission from Kaon about how a 'low caste' is able to take down a beast that has claimed the lives of several gladiators in the Coliseum's history. The being in question then announces his new name as Megatronus, based on the original primes. Soon the next match begins as the arena's gates open to reveal that it is the former council member Soundwave walking into the arena as the majority of the crowd boo him for leaving the council, while a few did cheer for him. Soundwave looks as he would before arriving on earth with Megatron and scanning that human unmanned drone plane the humans made for survallience. After their first match in which Megatron is victorious, Soundwave remained silent even as he is helped up by his opponent. Never once during the match has anyone heard Soundwave make a sound in the match. Starscream blinks turning to Thundercracker who nods, confirming his suspicions of Soundwave taking a vow of silence. Starscream looks around seeing that everyone is cheering for this Megatronus, even some of his seekers./
"Well… Stellar Cycles later, the war began and I, wanting no part of either defending the corrupted status quo or changing Cybertron in case of another betrayal, remained neutral. Jetfire on the other hand, joined the Decepticons for an early part of the war before coming to me with Zeta Prime and asked for my help. Apparently joining the Decepticons wasn't what Jetfire thought it would be. Especially as Zeta Prime had a 'shoot on sight' policy for when dealing with Decepticons. After the prime had shown what research he wanted me to protect, I had to say I was intrigued and made a deal to protect the orbiting Space Station Trypticon while Jetfire, now an Autobot, would conduct his tests with the so-called Synthetic Dark Energon. For a century I had protected my orbital station from any who wished to claim it. That all changed when he came… Megatron."
/Shows Starscream and Jetfire walking towards the council hall when an explosion goes off. The two change forms and fly over to find the source. Sees Megatron standing there, arm cannon smoking as Halogen is murdered and the Elite Guard are on their way to execute him. Orion Pax however, stops them as Megatron leaves, his optics red. Shows scenes of a montage of the war where citizen were fighting against each other. Brother versus brother. Shows Jetfire leaving to join the Decepticons. Starscream fought but it is more in the line of self-preservation as he chooses to fight for neither side of the war, thinking back to the one who betrayed him.
Scene changes to Starscream standing in the control room of the orbital space station where his soldiers brought in the Autobot leader, "What brings the high and mighty prime as yourself here?"
Starscream turns to see Jetfire with Zeta Prime and comments, "And with an enemy none the less."
"Starscream… I left the Decepticons after seeing how more ruthless it became after what happened in the Council chamber." Jetfire said, as Starscream sees the Autobot symbol on his friend's chassis.
Zeta Prime however interrupted, "Enough of this catching up up. Starscream, I demand you to let us use your station to keep an experimental weapon out of the hands of Megatron and his vile Decepticons."
"That is rich coming from a bot who didn't give me the credit due after all I've done for you in the resistance. And let's not forget how you blew up all the Space Bridges." Starscream hissed, "Give me a reason why I should endanger my forces and myself for your pitiful war?"
"Starscream, please listen, Zeta Prime is serious about this, if Megatron finds out it could be the destruction of us all." Jetfire pleaded, even as Jetfire showed a holographic image of the suppose weapon. Ridged sharp crystals that were not regular Energon or catalogued variant of Energon.
Starscream stares and studies the readings that come with the hologram. Soon Starscream stands straight, looking at both Thundercracker and Skywarp. Once getting their opinions, Starscream speaks, "Very well. You may use this station as a place to hold this weapon of yours, but I will be in charge of the scientific research of this and Jetfire will be our liason."
Zeta Prime's optics narrow before agreeing, "Very well. But be warned should you do something with the Dark Energon then you will face my wrath."
Shows Starscream working with his scientist crew as they work to unlock the secret of this dark Energon that even Zeta Prime appears to be afraid of. Shows from Starscream's point of view as he run through alarms blaring and arrives to see part of his station is gone. Reading the data logs, he learns that a small amount of Dark Energon caused an explosion of this magnitude. Fortunately they were able to hide this from either side of the war.
Shows Starscream and his forces taking any who got intel on Dark Energon. A century later Starscream is making his rounds with Thundercracker and Skywarp when he receives a report from one of his guards that a Decepticon assault cruiser was heading in their direction. Knowing who it must be in command of this assault on his station, Starscream orders all weapons to fire on the ship, to destroy it before reaching the station./
"Megatron's mastery over the Dark Energon that has done nothing but corrupt and destroy was awe-inspiring. As if it re-energized my spark in a way that made me pick a side in order to bring myself into glory once more. So following this I requested Megatron to teach myself how to control the power of Dark Energon, pledging myself to serve under him. Jetfire would then choose that moment to accuse me of treason and fled to report this to Zeta Prime. So that was the beginning of my time serving under Lord Megatron as both his servant and his apprentice. However, the experience had been more… of a risk than my time being a spy and courier in the Age of Wrath. Especially when Megatron revealed to me that the substance he used to corrupt the core of Cybertron was nothing but a Synthetic attempt of creating the true Dark Energon. But I was determined to reclaim the glory and respect I believed I so rightfully deserve! Even if it means taking control over the Decepticons."
/Shows Starscream watching Megatron's progress through his station with two other Decepticons, Brawl and Barricade. Shows from Starscream's point of view as he uses the stations Hologram system in an attempt to deter the Decepticon leader, "Megatron! You may have gotten this far, but you'll NEVER get your hands on the Dark Energon!"
"Starscream… this acrimony is needless. I know who you once were "Sky Commander" and that you were betrayed. With Dark Energon, I shall return Cybertron to its former glory and You to yours. If you agree to serve me." Megatron simply stated. Starscream feels his spark igniting on the memory of the betrayal done to him centuries before the war, and how Megatron's words of restoring him to his former glory touched his spark in some way. However, Starscream becomes even more determine to stop Megatron before he can get the remaining Dark Energon, "You're a fool! No one can control Dark Energon!"
Starscream ends communications as Jetfire askes, "You okay Starscream? I know he brought up a painful part of your past but…"
"I am fine, Jetfire! I tire his attempts to control forces that are beyond his capacity!" Starscream snapps as he goes to the viewing port, "I'm heading down to the vault and igniting the remaining stores of Dark Energon before that arrogant fool gets his hands on it and causes all of our destruction!"
Shows Image of Staracream arriving just as Megatron and his group arrive to the vault that has the last remaining portion of Dark Energon. Just as he changes forms, Starscream exclaims, "Impossible! No one has ever survived to reach this place!"
"You shall soon learn Starscream! I decide what is possible and what isn't!" Megatron defiantly stated.
Gritting his dentures, Starscream orders, "Guards! Hold them off while I destroy the last of the Dark Energon Remnants!"
As Starscream works he hears the sounds of his men fighting and dying to hold off Megatron and his decepticons as he completes the destruction protocol. Starscream is determined to make every sacrifice of his forces count by getting rid of the thing that their executioner wants, shouting, "STOP HIM! I need more time to initiate the sequence!"
Just as Megatron and his men kills the last of his guards, Starscream announces, over the blaring alarm, "You're too late! I have initiated the destruction sequence!"
Once the second wave of Starscream's men were killed. Megatron approaches the damaged containment field, Starscream arrived to see the Tank-based transformer walking into the energy field of the Dark Energon. Just as Starscream jeered, "You arrogant fool! No one has ever survived direct contact!"
Before his optics Starscream stares in shock as Megatron stands as his body absorbs the power of the Dark Energon, and with no adverse effects on him, "What!? THIS ISN'T POSSIBLE! No- No one can control Dark Energon! It dominates and destroys everything it touches!"
Megatron laughs as he emerges unharmed, his chassis over flowing with energy, "I am the Dominator! I am the Destroyer! I AM MEGATRON!"
Starscream, overcome with fear and awe, flies away to report to Jetfire what he witnessed. Even as the area becomes covered in the crystal form of it.
"Starscream what's happening out there!? The sensor readings are going out of control!" Jetfire asks.
Starscream begin laughing insanely as he said, "It's Megatron, he's-"
Soon the door burst open and Megatron walks in with Brawl and Barricade, declaring, "Dark Energon is under my control! Through my will alone shall Cybertron be restored!"
Staring in awe, Starscream hears Jetfire say, "It's too unstable Megatron! Using that power… you're endangering our entire world!"
Starscream speak up as he pushes his way past Jetfire, "Teach me Megatron! Teach me how to wield Dark Energon as you do and I will serve you."
Starscream saw but ignored the shocked, hurt expression on Jetfire's face.
Static seems formed before the picture cleared and reveals Jetfire shouting, "TRAITOR! Zeta Prime will hear of this!"
And flees to report to Zeta Prime on the planet.
Images changes to show Starscream serving Megatron faithfully as he fought, killed and shot any Autobot that got in his way, as well as the dangers he faced as a Decepticon. He also had to face the personal humiliation and ridicule that he had to suffer in the Decepticons as well.
Image changes to show Starscream approaching Megatron in the chamber to the core of Cybertron and infect it with the dark substance. from Starscream's point of view when he and Megatron enter the laboratory of Shockwave where Megatron showed him that the substance that they have been using was nothing but a synthetic version of the true Dark Energon that was said to be the blood of Unicron the destroyer.
Image changes to show Starscream in his quarters as he looks at the view of the city before him, ruined by the war and clutches his fist tightly with a determined look on his face. Before being called by Megatron for a mission with Shockwave and Soundwave.
Image changes to show Starscream with both Shockwave and Soundwave in finding the Dark Spark./
Starscream stopped, "Then everything happened as you know. My temporary rise of power when the titan Metroplex smashed Megatron to a mere speck of life. You working on that ancient Space Bridge. And Soundwave using all he did to not only repair Megatron by also gave him a new T-cog that allowed him to gain a new aerial alternate form. Then retaking the throne after killing all those who pledge loyalty to me. Made me run for my life until I…"
Shockwave noticed that Starscream was trying to resist the next set of memory downloading as he increased the power in the device and asked, coldly, "Yes?"
Starscream hissed as he was forced to say, "Until I came up with a plan to make an armory of my own in Kaon. While everyone was busy with what I believed you to be a waste of time of resources I deactivated the security nodes and snuck inside your laboratory to strike a deal with the Autobots you had experimented on by giving them what the humans call 'beast modes'. The mindless brute Grimlock refused my generous offer and used me as a primitive sling to get himself free from his restraints."
/Shows from Starscream's point of view as the commander lowers his arms to see his lord and master being crushed by the gigantic fist of the titan Metroplex. Starscream turns to see the new Autobot Leader, Optimus Prime, glaring at the assembled Decepticons warning, "Leave. Now."
Starscream weighed his options before turning his optics to the giant, knowing what must be done, Starscream addressed those with him, "Decepticons, Megatron has perished. Betrayed by his pride. I Starscream am your leader now."
Looking back at Optimus Starscream order, "Decepticons, return to base!" Transforms and flies off back to Kaon.
Image changes to Starscream reprimanding Shockwave for using the last reservoir of Natural Energon found in the Sea of Rust. What he thinks of Shockwave's use for it was what he saw as a useless experiment and waste of time and Energon. Noticing something out of the corner of the optic he comments, "I suggest you tend to your visitor." And ending the coms.
Image changes to show Starscream overlooking an Autobot convoy with an Energon Refinery Transport. "There it is. The Autobot transport carting away MY Energon!"
"Don't you mean OUR Energon, Starscream?" A milistically cruel voice asks, making Starscream turn and see the Combaticons. The Decepticon's Elite commando squad.
Resisting the urge to roll his optics, he said, "Oh, of course Onslaught. Our Energon."
"That idiot Shockwave allowed the Autobots to steal every last drop. Luckily I have devised a plan to steal it back."
"You mean we?" Onslaught stated annoyed.
Image changes to Starscream's coronation as well as the execution for the Combaticons when everyone present, loyalist and condemned hears the sounds of jet engines and flying towards them as Starscreams angrily asks, "Who dares disrupts my coronation!?"
The jet changes forms to reveal Megatron as he states, "'Coronation' Starscream? This is bad comedy."
Starscream was gapped as he asks, "Megatron!? Is that you?"
"Here's a hint." Megatron answers, raising his cannon arm and fires. The next thing Starscream knew was pain as that was indeed Megatron, but increased in firepower. Starscream hisses as he held his shoulder and straightens himself and shot back, "You're probable resurrection is too late. The Decepticon Army is now loyal to me!"
Starscream took the crown he has made for him, puts it on his head and exclaimed, "The Reign of Starscream has begun!"
Image shifts to show that Megatron single handedly killing all the Decepticons who swore loyalty to Starscream or who agrees with Starscream's leadership. After the last one falls, Starscream is then shot at by Megatron and fleeing for his life. Before showing Starscream overloading the security nodes, sneaking his way into Shockwave's lab and finding Grimlock. After making his case Grimlock growled, grabbing Starscream by the arm, "No thanks! I'll free myself!"
"Wait! I can help you!" Starscream pleaded, only for Grimlock to throw him and Starscream can distinctly remember his face hitting the console that controlled the large Autobot's restraints, before falling unconscious./
Starscream came out of reliving that as he said, "By the time I had Awoken, the stupid giant had left and carved a trail of destruction and death. So I had to sneak myself onto Megatron's newly made Warship made from Trypticon and bide my time until I go before my master and beg his forgiveness. However, we found ourselves floating some leagues away from the planet that we would soon come to know as Earth. In order to plead for my life, begging to be spared as the sight of his seemingly demise caused me to go mad with grief. It took some time but Megatron, in his wisdom, redeemed me and made me his second in command. The position would do… for now. However, Soundwave was still the communications chief and spy master, someone Megatron trusted above me working under me. Such irony. Many Decepticons who survived the voyage to Earth on the Nemesis were able to scan earth based vehicles for our alternate forms to keep the local population from discovering us. Megatron left me in charge as he searched for an army that would allow him to finally destroy Optimus and all with him, especially the primitive organic life-forms that infested the planet like Scraplets."
"And the aerial vehicle I had scanned made me a laughing stock once my reformation had been completed. Ugh it was utterly humiliating when the Vehicon drones thought for a moment that I was Slipstream…" Starscream paused and shuttered. He was fortunate to have reverted back into his true body frame before the benefactor found him after his escape from Predaking and the two Predacons with him. He then stated, "Well… I'm sure you personally knew how my time on earth played out…"

"When Megatron was possessed by Unicron's dark essence I felt my spark chill me to my metallic spine and had me run away to where I found Knockout and the remaining loyalists to the cause in the brig of the ship and thought we could commandeer the vessel to escape from Cybertron since Unicron had arrived. However, the treacherous driver betrayed me and left me in that infernal prison to join the Autobots." Starscream finished his recounting from the beginning of the Conquest of Earth to the return of Cybertron as he stated, "Once I escaped from the brig I planned to return to Shockwave's latest hideout laboratory only to discover my lord and master freed and alive. Just as I was inspiring him to begin the campaign to conquer Cybertron he shouted at me and when I asked why he told me he lost his taste for inflicting suffering. I believe it is a little late for this growth of compassion after the eons of violence, death, and horrors, he caused during the war he started. So when I tried to reason with him he snapped at me sayin that the Decepticons are no more. And left! After everything he had inflicted on me! He should be suffering an equal amount of pain and misery he caused to everyone he's harmed. Especially myself!"
/Shows what happened after Cybertron's restoration from Starscream's point of view: from when he and Shockwave landed on their home world in the escape pod, all the way to Megatron shouting, "ENOUGH! The Decepticons are no more, and that is Final!" Before he took a running start and flew away from his planet in an exile./
Starscream took deep breathes before calming himself down and finished his story, "So After he left, I realized I was alone with the enemy and stated that it was time all of us had reflections to do and I left. Upon my return to Darkmount in Kaon I mused about the convenience of getting his throne when that beast Predaking and his two brute cohorts arrived. Trying to keep myself from getting avenged on by the three primitives, I gave up the throne. Only for the king of beasts to say he wasn't there for the throne but merely to settle scores and attacked me. After luring the brutes into a trap the automated defenses took care of two of them, the ones known as Skylynx and Darksteel."
/Shows Starscream watching Megatron's leaving as he turns to the Autobots and says, "Clearly we all have much to reflect upon from recent events."
He too ran and transforms, flying in the direction of Darkmount. Image changes to show when he arrives he changes back into bipedal form and comments, "This is not quite how I envisioned my rise to the throne, but since Lord Megatron all but surrendered it to me. I will gladly revive the Decepticons in my name."
He however, jerks upon hearing a familiar sound of beating wings and turns to see Predaking flying and landing behind him. He is accompanied by Skylynx and then Darksteel. Gulping, Starscream looks at the three Predacons and says, hoping to be spared from their wrath, "Though, perhaps a throne is more befitting of an actual king?"
Predaking changes forms and informs the seeker, "I am not here to seize thrones, Starscream. But to settle scores."
Starscream whimpers and gasps as he falls backwards on the throne and screamed as the Predacons bared down on him.
Scene changes to show from Starscream's point of view as he was running for his life from the three angry Predacons who were hunting him for revenge. Starscream gave a cry of fear as he continues running, until he accidently pressed a switch on the floor with his foot. He fell and covered his head with his arms as the large laser weapons fired in his direction, a laser hitting two of the three Predacons there./
Starscream was so engrossed in his story that he failed to see Shockwave's remaining hand holding onto the rim of the terminal tightly, angered by the fact Starscream harmed two of his creations. He was hoping that the first clone he created was still functional when Starscream continued, "However, just as I was about to get my revenge on Predaking he disappeared in a portal that looked like a space bridge. While I was about to examine the secret laboratory that the defenses were for, I heard a voice from the past and saw in place of my reflection, the very visage of our 'benefactor' even though Optimus Prime sent his dark lighted spark back to the pit where he came from. Told me of a chance to get my revenge on my former master and stop Optimus from saving a world that he hinted had ties to Cybertron and Earth. Wanting justice done on me by Megatron I accepted. Although it did hurt I found myself in his Spark forsaken land with you, that sadistic poacher Airachnid, and someone I could not believe I would meet in my lifetime. When we arrived I saw that we had appeared as he did on Cybertron, my body reformed into its former glory and shape while I notice myself shrinking and become… human. It was very repulsive. Me a magnificent Cybertronian flyer turned into a weak and organic human."
/Predaking was grazed but still showed signs of damage. Starscream approaches to finish the Predaking off when a portal unlike anything he had seen opened up and Predaking fell through it. Starscream stares in shock at what just transpire before him. Just as he is about to venture into where the weapons are guarding he hears a voice that made his Energon freeze.
"Starscream."
Starscream looks around as the voice continues, "Starscream."
He still looks around until he hears a sharp, "STARSCREAM!"
Starscrem shouted in fear, jumping in the air before turning and seeing his reflection, but it changes to a shape that the seeker was hoping to never see again as he complains, "Oh no not you… First Unicron, now you. Who's next the Fallen!?"
"Silence!" The figure demanded, his features hidden by the shadows of his location.
Starscream whimpers as he does as the voice says, "I have a deal for you. Courtesy of my one and only master."
"What sort of deal?" Starscream asks, a brow raised as he looks suspiciously at the figure.
The figure's image disappears to show a world similar to Earth, "There is a planet in the far recesess of the known universe. You are to go there with a selected few and prevent a female with silver eyes from saving it from destruction." the planet was replaced by a human girl with dark red hair and silver eyes.
Starscream feels insulted, "WHAT! You want me to go to some unknown planet that is like earth and waste my precious time to snuff out one insignificant human!?"
The figures' optics narrows as he threatens, "You will do this task that my master needs done or I will use my powers to revenge these two primitive life-forms and let them end you in their leisure."
Starscream felt his voice box dry as he turns to think but the figure added, "You will also be able to regain a chance to exact revenge on the one who foolishly tried to kill my master, Megatron."
Starscream's optics widens as he asks, "He is there?"
"Yes, he will be there as a protector of this silver-eye girl, but according to my lord, he will not be alone and I have found only one other who will accept my offer for their price."
Starscream thinks about it before giving his signature grin and asks, "When do I start, my benefactor?"
Scene changes to show Starscream opening his optics as he finds himself in a place that resembles what the ancient religious text says where all those who submit themselves to chaos and Unicron go when their sparks are extinguished. He looks around at first before finding himself in the body form he had before scanning that jet from earth. Oh how he hates that planet so much… Soon he saw others there and he groaned, "Oh no… not you two…"
Starscream sees Shockwave sitting up as he states, "You are not what I was hoping to find on this mission either Starscream."
Airachnid chuckled, revealing her fangs, "My, my. I was hoping to see you again Starscream. You as well Shockwave. I am feeling quite parched."
She sprints forward on her spider form when an arm grabs her by her neck and tosses her to the wall in a voice that sounds similar to Megatron's, "ENOUGH!"
Starscream, Shockwave, and Airachnid turns and sees a figure there. A figure in armor similar in style and date as Alpha Trion standing there. His armor was dark and his optics narrow in a glare of utter hate.
"I do not care of thy personal issues with each other. However, should thou be worthy of my quest to reunite with my beloved then I shall not end you this day." The figure states speaking in a dialect of Cybertronian that no one has heard since before recorded history of Cybertron and after the Great Cataclysm.
Shockwave then points out, "It would appear we are going through changes to suit our needs on this planet and mission."
The others look and find themselves shrinking and looking less mechanical. Becoming organic until they reach human height and shape. Starscream looks at himself before letting out a cry of disgust at what he became. /
Getting everything he needed, Shockwave ended the data log as he said, "Thank you for that… informative story of your life Starscream."
"So I guess because we are all on the same side all is forgiven then? From that little accident with Grimlock?" Starscream asked, pulling off the cord connected to the nape of his neck.
At that moment, Shockwave grabbed him and forced the former commander to the table as the scientist state, "Do not presume that all is forgiven for what you done to my experiments."
"What!? How did you— Oh right I just said it…" Starscream realized his mistake before whimpering, "I can explain."
"I am waiting…" Shockwave threatened, Starscream could clearly hear anger in the echo of Shockwave's voice.
"You were nowhere to be found. I was running for my spark. And those defenses were automated. There was nothing I could do to stop them from being extinguished…" Starscream stated, feeling Shockwave's hand on his chest plate lighten up as he stated, "Believe me Shockwave, I had no personal grudge against Skylynx and Darksteel. It was but an accident."
"I find your explanation… Logical." Shockwave answered.
Starscream exhaled a breath he forgot he had as he was about get off and leave. Only… Shockwave's hand didn't move. Starscream was confused and demanded, "What are you doing? Release me! I gave you your accursed logical answer."
"You misunderstand. I find your explanation logical. However, does not mean all is even between us." Shockwave answered back leaning in as his voice became colder and angrier. Starscream could see his face's reflection on the lens covering Shockwave's eyes. The seeker could only guess that the scientist was expressing anger as he used his cannon arm to hold Starscream in place as his free hand reached and grabbed a tool from the nearby table. He turned it on as he inched it slowly close to Starscream.
Starscream, feeling great fear, exclaimed, "W-wait a second! You… Are you angry!? You're not supposed to get angry! You're Shockwave: The logical! The scientist who doesn't let emotions factor into his equations!"
Seeing his pleas not working Starscream screamed, "No! NO! NO! I'M SORRY! I'M- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!"
From outside the scientist's quarters stood the fall maiden, her visible eye widened from what she saw. She had heard from her mistress, the Herald's benefactor, and Starscream that Shockwave was as emotionless as a rock. And yet she saw something that made her scared as the fully armored scientist had started to take revenge like regular person.
(Yeah, this is how I saw Starscream's life before becoming the cowardly, sycophanting, lying, egotistic, greedy traitor that people either loath or knows.
The reason why I made Starscream sound more noble and less conniving is due to something that was said on the WFC game between Starscream and Megatron, as shown in a flashback within this chapter. To quote Bumblebee from that one RID episode, "Each one of us is the hero of our own stories."
So I thought Starscream should be able to see himself in a way before he became a villain.
And yes I added what happens to Starscream after Shockwave had recovered his emotions from his encounter with Unicron. Now we know what will happen if someone harms Shockwave's creations and thing a 'logical' explanation will get them out of facing his wrath anymore. And yes it's Cinder watching as per my plan.
