Little Bat Tangle with an Evil Green Plant
"Hey Babs, where do you want this Batman figurine to go to?" Izuku asked holding up the Batman figurine.
"Over there, in that corner with my desk." Babs answered.
Izuku, along with Zee and Jessica, are helping the red-hair girl unpack her things which she forgot to do with all the superheroing going in since she got in the city, plus some other things but her dad complained a little that she hasn't unpacked yet. So, she decided to call some of her friends which Izuku came because he already finished his homework, Zee and Jessica are here because they have some free time for the moment.
Using a little body work and using some of their powers, the three have decorated Babs's new room into a place she could dream of.
"So, what do you think?" Zee asked.
"I love it!" Babs answered exciting hugging her three friends.
"It's even better than my old room. I'm starting to think Metropolis just might, sort of, possibly be kind of a little bit better than Gotham!" Babs talked fast as she looks around at her room.
"I'm glad you like, now we just have one more box to unpack." Izuku showed the box.
Babs got excited to see what else she wants to bring out, then became sadden upon seeing a little bat doll in the box.
"Are you okay, Babs?" Izuku asked as the girls are concern too.
"I'm fine, it just that I'll never forget that beautiful summer day in Gotham City, though it was actually night." Babs started to explain her past a few years ago.
(Flashback)
A younger Babs looked out her window seeing the Bat signal knowing that Batman is going to be out tonight to bust another criminal, and she wants to be there to join his team as she rides her bicycle (with training wheels) to the crime scene. But by the time she got there, the bank robber was already captured by Batman as she sees him on top of a building with a thunderbolt in the background.
Younger Babs stare at him awestruck, but gasp when he saw him leaving probably to find another criminal to bust.
"Wait, come back!" Babs called out, but he was already gone.
"So much to proving I could be a good teammate." Babs sobbed hugging her Batman doll.
"He already got a teammate, twerp." A boy appeared showing himself to be Robin, the Boy Wonder.
"Isn't passed your bedtime, need comfort from your dolly?" Robin mocked with a chuckle.
"Bat-Knight's no doll, he's my side-kick, my backup, he's the bomb!" Babs proclaimed.
"The bomb, whatever. Look, you're better off just staying home do whatever girls do because the things he does and I'm doing with him ain't no fun for little, shrimpy girl like you!" Robin poked her nose before bringing out his graphing gun.
"Just… Just don't do anything crazy, life is too short for some of us." Robin advised before swinging away.
Babs started crying and her father found her on the street, this what made the man worried for his daughter and promised to get her out of the Gotham believing it is no place for a family.
(Flashback End)
"How did Robin get to be Batman's sidekick? He's not even on theme." Babs wondered.
"I'm sure he was trying to keep your safe from harm." Izuku said consider the advice he told her.
"Yeah, but I still can't forgive him for the mocking. So, after that, I worked and practice and studied, improving my skills to get Batman to notice me then maybe rub it in on Robin's face." Babs grinned a little.
"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get the chance to show Batman what you're capable of and you don't have to do it alone." Izuku placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Yeah, you got us!" Jessica said.
"And a girls', plus Izuku, night out at Sweet Justice." Zee added, but Babs groaned.
"You three go on without me. Mom's working late, and in this house that means… it's father-daughter's date night watching the Princess Pumpkin Pants movie." Babs sighed.
"You don't sound exciting for a movie night with your dad." Izuku noticed.
"Because that movie is so boring! Sure, I may have liked those kinds of shows as a kid, but I'm a teenager now and a top crime-fighter meaning I don't want to watch those kiddy shows even though dad thinks it's good for bonding time." Babs rolled her eyes.
"I think you shouldn't turn away from your parents when they wanted to spend as much time with you, even heroes want to be with their families as much as possible." Izuku stated.
"Thanks, I'll try to take your word for it." Babs said while looking out the window.
Izuku, Jessica, and Zee left the house though the green hero looks back thinking about Babs in her lonesome thoughts of proving herself to Batman even though he already saw how a great hero she is. Then he made up his mind as he and the girls were only about five blocks away from Sweet Justice to meet up with the other girls for the night of fun.
"Zee, Jessica, you two go on without and tell the others I won't be joining." Izuku said.
"Not feeling up for ice-cream, darling?" Zee asked.
"No, it just I feel bad about leaving Babs like this and I want to see if I can help cheer her up." Izuku explained.
"I don't know, that sounds like meddling in other people's affairs." Jessica said.
"Maybe, but meddling is part of being a hero." Izuku smiled before running off to make his way to Babs's house.
"Even when it's not hero related, he never stops to help others." Jessica smiled.
"That's part of the charm you can't help yourself be drawn into." Zee giggled as the two made their way to Sweet Justice to tell the others Izuku won't be joining them tonight.
(With Izuku)
Izuku is seen flying using the Float Quirk to hurry onto to the Gordon house faster and knowing that it's nighttime so that no one can see him flying.
However, he heard a small engine noise of a scouter and looks down surprised to see Babs is riding away from her house and in her Batgirl uniform too.
"If Babs is going out then… there's trouble!" Izuku gasped realizing.
Izuku quickly went into a tree to change into his Deku hero costume then leaves the backpack on a branch to come back for it later, he got out and flew to where Babs is heading in one direction and catching up to her in the street.
"If we pull this off, Bat Knight, I see big opportunities in our future!" Batgirl excited.
"Batgirl!" Deku shouted a little surprising Batgirl almost making her lose her balance on the scouter.
"Whoa, Deku! I thought you were with the girls at Sweet Justice?" Batgirl confused.
"I wanted to come back to check up on you since you were sad when I left." Deku answered.
"Aw, that's so sweet of you." Batgirl smiled and blushing a little.
"Is there trouble?" Deku asked.
"Yeah, Batman called my dad through the Bat-phone to inform him about a Gotham villain in town at the Pesticide Plant which I answered and so going to save the day!" Batgirl explained.
"But what about you dad? Shouldn't he know about this?" Deku asked.
"I tried telling him the Bat-phone was ringing, but he was too busy making popcorn and-Right next to us!" Batgirl gasped as they see James Gordon driving next to them.
"Hang on!" Deku wrapped his arms around Batgirl and use Black Whip to lift them into the air before the old man could notices them.
"Oh, good thinking! We can get there by air!" Batgirl impressed as she hugs her Bat-stuffy.
Deku drop the scouter on top of a building so they can come back for it later and use his Black Whip again to slingshot themselves fast, Batgirl looks up at his face seeing how brave and strong he is just how Batman would look making her feel fluttery on the inside.
"We're here." Deku landed in front of the plant.
"Batman's not here yet, score! He won't believe his eyes when he shows up and we've taken care of it!" Batgirl excited hugging her Bat Knight in one arm while hugging Deku's arm in the other.
"Hold on, Batgirl we should be careful and try to find out who we're up against." Deku stated, but Batgirl didn't listen as she runs into the plant.
Deku sigh thinking this is going to be a rough night and quickly follows her into the building, without even knowing the giant plants growing over the place from the outside.
Deku and Batgirl are sneaking around the plant trying to find the Gotham villain to take down though everything seems quiet, too quiet for Deku as he notices there isn't even a security guard in any of the areas, they searched which worries him a lot.
Then suddenly his Danger Sense Quirk went off warning him that something is dangerous is about to happen.
"Batgirl, brace yourself!" Deku warned.
Cracks began to appear, and big green vines came out as if they are alive and going towards the two young heroes, Batgirl tried stopping them with her four sharp Batarangs cutting them but more appeared.
"Delaware Smash: Air Force!" Deku fired three air blast from his fingers to blast away the vines, but even more kept coming forcing the two heroes to retreat.
"Batgirl, if this villain is from Gotham, then do you know the villain making these plants move?" Izuku asked while this reminds him of Ibara's Vine Hair Quirk.
"Yes, I do! There's only one villain with power to control plants, one villain who wants to cover the whole world in plants!" Batgirl figured out while they run for their lives and stumble in one room where a person is there sitting on a plant throne.
"One of Gotham's most wanted criminal with a dangerous green thumb, Poison Ivy." Batgirl glared at the villain.
Poison Ivy is a young woman looking around the same age as a high schooler with her skin being bright green with her hair shown to be a bright red, green eyes and curly going down to her knees, and light ted lipstick. She wears a green left dress with matching glove and boots. Breasts sizes: G-cup.
"How curious, for a moment I could have sworn you were Batman." Poison Ivy commented sarcastically.
"Really! Was the costume specifically or" Deku stopped Batgirl from being distracted.
"What have you done to the people here?" Deku asked.
"Oh, you I do know from the news. The mighty Hero Deku, the so-called Green Symbol of Hero which I find the title idiotic." Poison Ivy growled, clutching her fist.
"Hey, Deku may mean "useless" in Japanese, but he proven to be the "Deku" who can do anything!" Batgirl protested.
"I wasn't talking about that! Although admittedly that does sound impressive." Poison Ivy said out lout before looking angry again.
"I'm talking about that he would use the word "Green" and dare wears the same color as the nature of plants that these idiotic humans keep on hurting!" Poison Ivy stated bringing more big vines by her side.
"Oh, and don't worry about the people. This place was already empty by the time I came here… Mostly." Poison Ivy smirked.
"Well, prepare to have you weeds pull from your roots of villainy!" Batgirl said dramatically.
"Go ahead and try. Put them in the ground, my lovelies." Poison Ivy commanded two venus flytraps to attack them.
Deku took one out with a strong kick using 10% of One for All while Batgirl knocks the other down with her expanded staff, she tries to jump at the green villain, but a plant came between them and burst out a purple gas making her cough and smacked down by a vine.
"Batgirl!" Deku worried and hurries to her, but some vines got in her way.
"Perhaps it's not too late for us to join forces, we can make the people regret ever harming nature!" Poison Ivy offered.
"Sorry, but I don't deal with villains!" Deku said before firing an air shot at Poison Ivy sending her flying to a wall.
Deku quickly grabs Batgirl heading to the exit door he saw before creating the smokescreen.
"Sorry about 'leafing' you behind, but we're just too 'smokin' for you!" Batgirl punned.
Poison Ivy got angry of the stupid plant jokes as she rode on her big vine to chase after the two heroes through the plant, Deku and Batgirl went downstairs trying to make their way for the exit, but the way is blocked by more plants from outside forcing them to find another way.
Batgirl threw six more of her Batarangs cutting and piercing onto the vines though that barely stops them as Poison Ivy is hot on their tail until she spotted an open door and quickly informs Deku which he got it.
"Race to the finish "vine."" Batgirl punned.
"Seriously?" Poison Ivy grunted.
They enter the room only to find more plants inside little boxes probably for studies and dodge more plants.
"Oh, I thought Batman would be here by now!" Batgirl worried.
"Maybe because his signal can't be seen unlike in the polluted skies over Gotham." Poison Ivy mocked as she surrounds them.
"I'm guessing you really don't like people messing with plants." Deku commented.
"Very deeply… I tried to save that toxic cesspool of a city, but Gotham is lost. Nothing green will ever grow there again, but I can still save Metropolis." Poison Ivy walked over to the few little plants.
"Return it to the glorious forest it once was." Poison Ivy grinned looking at the heroes.
"And in order to do that, you need to get rid of the people first." Deku guessed.
"EXACTLY!" Poison Ivy trapped them in her vines.
"Humans are vermin in the garden of life. Locusts, termites, cockroaches! I'll exterminate them all!" Poison Ivy declared.
"But will that make you happy?" Deku asked.
"What?" Poison Ivy confused of the question.
"So, what if you succeed in your goal, will that really make you happy. Believing this is what you think it's right for the world despite all the bad things you have been doing, that will only leave an empty hole in your heart." Deku stated.
"Don't be stupid! I'm doing this for the plants, nothing will make me happier than see them grow over the planet as it is their right!" Poison Ivy smirked.
"But what about your right? I know you believe all humans are violent creatures that would destroy everything around them including the plants, and that you wanted to help show the people how much the plant means to the world." Deku said as he gentle petted the vine on him.
"Even though you're called "Poison Ivy" I believe you could have been a beautiful rose who can bring the love between people and plants together." Deku smiled under his mask.
"A beautiful rose, me?" Poison Ivy surprised to hear such strong words coming from this little hero as her heart was struck by it, but she pushes those thoughts aside.
"Fool! No one will stop me, not you or that stupid girl!" Poison Ivy insulted Batgirl.
"Batgirl isn't a stupid girl, she's the bravest and coolest girl I have ever met who wanted to be a hero like nobody else! She's the bomb!" Deku said strongly making Batgirl smile.
Then an idea came to her head.
"Thanks for the kind words, Deku, but the one who's the bomb is… Bat Knight!" Batgirl held up her doll and pulled the wire making the eyes blinking red and beeping sounds.
Deku quickly figured out the doll is a bomb she made and use his Fa Jin Quirk to increase his power breaking himself and Batgirl free from the vines, he grabs Batgirl with Black Whip throwing her to one of the big containers. Poison Ivy tried to stop her, but Deku grab both her arms and pin her down on the floor as Batgirl drop the doll inside the contain then it exploded releasing the toxic gas making most of the plants weaker and herself as she went unconscious.
"How do you feel, Batgirl?" Deku asked.
"Pretty great!" Batgirl smiled.
Unknown to them, two certain duos are watching the seen from afar with binoculars.
"Whoa, didn't think the girl could pull it off." One young boy surprised and a little impress.
"And it looks like she's doing well with a team." One tall and dark man said holding a newspaper about the debut of Young Justice.
"Now I regret mocking her back then." The boy said revealing himself to be Robin.
"I have a feeling she will do more heroic feats in the near future." The man commented revealing to be the one and only Batman.
The duo leaves the scene, fading into the darkness of the night.

Deku drops off Batgirl to her before her dad comes home, they had a pretty good night defeating Poison Ivy except she escaped.
"Thanks for your help tonight." Batgirl thanked.
"You're welcome. Sorry about your doll." Deku apologized.
"I can fix up Bat Knight no problem, but those deep words you said to Poison Ivy was something." Batgirl said.
"I just believed everyone deserves a chance to do good." Deku stated as Batgirl remembered seeing that in his mind.
Then she suddenly kisses him on the cheek much to his shock.
"Just a little something about what you said about me back there." Batgirl blushed a bit and quickly make her way into her room leaving Deku still surprised of the kiss before he went home.

Deku and Batgirl have fought against the villainous and beautiful Poison Ivy though it looks like she has gotten struck by his words in the heart, and Batgirl seemed to have show her gratitude for the kind words he said about her.
