Chapter 7

It happened again.

Just when he thought things were getting back to normal, Kiyoshi goes to bed in his room… only to wake up the next day, being sat on like an egg by his father! "DAD, GET OFF!" Kiyoshi shouted.

He has gotten a lot stronger, as of late, if he has the right footing, he is able to push himself up and nearly take his father off of him completely, and yet it is a lot more problematic to do when he's a dragon! This time around, it was a lot more difficult since his father grew himself bigger. "Seriously dad! I am NOT an egg!" he protested.

His father made a low growl, but he could by the look in his eyes that he wasn't all there either. With a sigh, Kiyoshi left the room… only to pause once more than his father retreated and took him to grandma's residence to sleep.

This HAS to stop!

Kiyoshi was out the door before long, trying to get some distance between him and his dad. "Morning Kiyoshi!"

He paused as his uncle Sho called out to him. "Morning uncle… can you please talk to my dad. He keeps sitting on me at night like I'm an egg."

Uncle Sho paused oddly, but the two young guys next to him snickered a little. "Uncle Yuuji is doing that to you since he still considers you to be a young dragon. At the same time, he knows what happened to you was traumatic. It's his way of saying 'I'll look out for you' but in a very… dragon way"

"I have to agree with my boys, they know about this more than me," Uncle Sho said with a sigh. "Oh, speaking of your cousins. I would like you to meet my boys. My eldest son Uchuu, his twin brother, Shigure. Not to mention their sister, my daughter, Sonami."

His uncle's chest swelled out proudly as his three cousins came forward and introduced themselves. Kiyoshi politely bowed back to them. "It's a pleasure to meet you," he said.

"Also… sorry about our first encounter… we just got really excited to meet you" Uchuu explained. "We have been told to keep our distance and properly introduce ourselves. If we can help you with anything, let us know."

Uchuu and Shigure were taller than him. They were big like uncle Sho but carried themselves very well. Strong upper bodies but with a small pot belly on then, yet Kiyoshi would fear the day someone decides to see how strong those guys are! Their skin only had a slight red hue to it, but it was still noticeable. Their sister Sonami on the other hand. She bore pitch black hair, she had an angular face like her mother and her figure. But there was just something about her he couldn't put his finger on.

"Perhaps we should have a meal together?" Sonami suggested. "Would you like that, cousin?"

He smiled. "Another time, I should have woken up in my own bed. My mom probably has breakfast ready for me…"

They smiled. "Another time then, it's nice to meet you." His cousins politely lowered their heads once more before taking their leave.

'When they don't come at me all at once, they are really cool!' Kiyoshi thought.

Then, he heard the low rumble of a dragon coming from behind him. Kiyoshi turned and ducked just before his father tried to grab the back of his shirt! "DAD!" he protested.

His father however, was not giving up!

He continued to confront him, growling lowly to him. 'You don't leave my side until I am ready to leave as well! It's too dangerous!'

Kiyoshi rolled his eyes. "It's not dangerous dad! I'm safe in a domain! I have others here who can defend me if needed. I am not in any danger anymore, so please… stop doing this" he begged.

However, there was no reasoning in his eyes.

"Allow me,"

Kiyoshi jumped as Uncle Suiryu came out of nowhere, he landed one punch on his father, right at the top of his head! His dad hit the ground hard, and looked like he was knocked stupid. "What did we talk about before, bro?"

The look in his eyes altered, then, there was a burst of smoke as his father turned back once more. "OW! Did you have to hit so hard! I'm already dumb as it is!"

"It's the only way I could get through to you. You're sitting on your kid again!"

His father appeared stunned as he turned to Kiyoshi; he gave a frustrated sigh and nodded to him. "Dad… why are you doing this?"

There was a confused look on his face. His father sighed aloud and shook his head. "Hate to say it Kiyoshi, but your dad is on hormone overload. Between your mother having a baby, your aunts and then you becoming an egg… it's been a little much on his senses and perception." Uncle Suiryu explained. "Still… that's no excuse for sitting on him!"

"I don't know why I am doing that either!" dad snapped back. "It's not like I intend on doing so! It just happens!"

Kiyoshi sighed aloud to this. "Then how do we make him stop? Do I have to prove I'm a 'big boy' dragon or something?"

Suddenly, his uncle looked curious. "Oh? That's something to try…"

"Huh?!" Kiyoshi and his father demanded.

"If anything, that's a great idea! You got to show your old man that you can fend for yourself! So, what we need to do is to test your power!"

"Sukuna is doing that this afternoon."

His uncle froze. "What? Why?!" he demanded.

This… was different.

"Uncle, you didn't swear?"

"Tsk, I've been trying to curb it. Nao is getting out of hand with the swear words, and quite frankly, I don't want to upset my wife again…" he shuttered a little.

Whatever hold Aunt Nobara has over him… it's almost eerie similar to Sukuna and Chusi!

"Also… Sukuna asked to help me… I think it's his way of thanking me for elemental lessons…"

His uncle sighed. "We'll come watch as well," he decreed. "At the same time, I got to make sure bro here doesn't go off his stick."

Kiyoshi agreed, after all, if he and Sukuna spar, his dad might think he is being attacked…

But first, breakfast!
