Chapter 18: More conversations and... Shots?
Notes: haha in the end if I released it late, what a bastard am I right?
But hey, the chapter is long.
0O0O
"I want to help people"
Yuna frowned once, waited a few seconds for the boy to continue, but when he remained silent without saying anything else, she knew that there was something wrong, then she looked at Quanxi incredulously, as if trying to confirm that what the boy said was true in somehow. Quanxi just nodded silently, refusing to speak allowing Hiro and Yuna to guide the entire conversation.
The older woman looked back at Hiro, her face impassive "Is that all?" she asked herself hoping there was something else.
Hiro knew he hadn't started off well, in fact now that he thought about it, all the times he had told the reason why he wanted to be a hunter it was because he found himself in an emotional situation. Like when Kishibe wanted to leave him in an orphanage, or when he told him that he wasn't going to train him.
Explaining it in a slightly calmer way was going to be more difficult than he imagined, mainly because it was embarrassing. He now he cursed himself for not having practiced before, maybe a monologue would have been good to start.
"Well...Yeah, that's all actually" Hiro replied with a shrug.
Yuna looked at him blankly "You can't be serious. It's the stupidest reason I've ever heard"
"I-it's not stupid" the boy replied.
"Of course!" Yuna corrected.
"N-no! I mean, I think that's a good goal."
"Do you even know what you're talking about?" Yuna looked at him in exasperation "You're trying to become the typical TV hero who's going to save everyone through hard effort"
Hiro felt his arms tremble "I didn't mean it that way, what I meant was that I want to try to save as many people as possible, get them away and save them from the devils"
Yuna growled in disgust at what she was hearing.
"I just want to do that, there's nothing wrong with becoming a hunter and-" Hiro stopped when Yuna put a hand in front of his face denying him permission to speak.
"I'm going to hold you there for a moment," she said, holding back her frustration as much as she could and sounding as formal as her job required.
"Hiro Takahashi, do you know the reason why the Anti-Demon Public Security exists? I don't mean just Japan's, but the whole world"
It was a question that caught Hiro off guard, he hadn't explored much about the history of devil hunters beyond what Kishibe had told him, for the simple reason that there didn't seem to be anything else to ask or any doubt to answer.
He had been direct and simple at the time, but if he had known he was going to use it for a test like this he might as well have studied sooner.
"Umm" Hiro tried to formulate an answer "To save people?"
There were a few seconds where neither Hiro nor Yuna said anything, they just remained silent, the demologist looked at the boy with an indecipherable expression, Hiro didn't know if he had given a good or bad answer. But he knew that when someone looked at him so intently it was because he had done something wrong.
Everything was silent, until Yuna raised her head and laughed.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" An uncontrollable laugh tore from her throat, refusing to stop.
Hiro looked horrified as the doctor laughed non-stop, it was as if they had told her the best joke ever.
He felt uncomfortable about all of this as now he didn't know how to deal with this situation and he didn't know what to expect. He looked to Quanxi for help, but the hunter crossed her arms and closed her eyes just to listen to what was happening. Hiro felt like this whole conversation was getting out of hand.
If so, it would already be two conversations that he ruined in the day.
After a few seconds Yuna finally stopped with her laugh to calm Hiro down, her laugh really disturbed him for all the seconds it lasted.
"You're... More... Stupid than I thought" Yuna said between gasps recovering from the fit of laughter, in other situations she would have refrained from laughing, mainly because there were very few things in the world that could make her laugh. What this child said was one of them.
"E-excuse me?" Hiro was startled when he suddenly called him stupid.
Was it necessary to insult him?
Yuna coughed to compose herself and speak again "What you said is wrong and stupid"
Hiro wanted to ask why but Yuna walked around him again, this was already becoming a habit apparently.
"Young Takahashi you can't seem to see the whole picture, I'm not surprised since you hang out with trash like Kishibe"
Hiro didn't know that he had to see Kishibe, he heard how in the background Quanxi let out a little suppressed laugh which made the boy more curious.
"You see child" Yuna continued "Human beings are chaotic by nature, I believe that we are all born with cruelty in our hearts, but at the same time we are born with something that restricts that evil, and that is kindness"
She made a gesture of a scale with her hands "It's a balance that we all keep in constant motion, until there comes a time in our lives when we have to choose which one we want to lean more on. Of course, both evil and good can be subjective or relative, but for the ordinary human being, having pure kindness in your heart makes you an example to follow if you do something, say if you give a coin to a homeless person on the street, people will know that you are considerate and kind to people who don't have much. So everyone will do the same and copy you, because they fervently believe that's what it means to be kind."
Hiro looked at her with attention and interest and the doctor just continued with her explanation "As for cruelty, if you're mean to others, if you don't care about them at all, if you don't help someone when they need you the most, if you kill without pity, or even if you torture someone to death, everyone will call you evil or a cruel person, even if deep down you don't see it that way and think you only do the things you should do."
'What? What kind of example is that?" Hiro thought, 'It's like he's giving me the example of a...' Her eyes widened with surprise and understanding, she looked at Quanxi with intensity, the woman kept her eyes wide. closed and silent.
'Of a murderer...'
"You wouldn't survive a year as a hunter, you have to be crazy for that"
It was Kishibe's words that came back to his mind, Hiro little by little began to understand what he was referring to.
Before, he believed that Kishibe meant that he shouldn't care about the lives of others, only his own and his work. But apparently he was also hinting at something else that Hiro didn't like to believe.
"Oh, I see you're getting it now" Yuna noticed the look Hiro was giving Quanxi, as if she was the example she was referring to, he wasn't so wrong.
"..." Hiro looked at her without saying anything, Yuna took this as a sign to continue.
"As for the world of hunters, we believe that it is more appropriate to lean towards the latter"
"Eh?" Hiro to this day couldn't understand the whole thing about being a hunter, the general idea was to exterminate devils but to do it most effectively they need to get away from all morality and reasonable thinking.
Was that what she meant?
Yuna turned her back on him "Normally, young people always arrive in this job, people who are around 20 years old, even those who have barely reached the age necessary to be considered adults. Of course, there is always the possibility of signing up from a younger age. .. Just like you" she closed her eyes "However, it doesn't matter if you have trained for 2 or 10 years, if you don't have the most important quality for a hunter, if you don't have what the devils fear the most, then you will die sooner than late"
She turned to face him, she smiled when she saw that now the boy seemed more nervous almost to the point of being scared, it was clear that he didn't like where this conversation was going, added to that it seemed that he had realized what she was meant by 'Most Important Quality' and he didn't like it at all.
Of course he wouldn't, someone who thinks like him would never have those kinds of thoughts.
'And that's how he wants to be a hunter, I don't know what Kishibe saw in him'
She took a moment to look at Quanxi, she still didn't open her eyes and didn't say anything, so it seemed that she had no intention of intervening in any way, Yuna narrowed her eyes, it was as if she was waiting for something to happen. This behavior was somewhat suspicious, it was as if she was confident that the boy would know how to handle the situation, even now when the boy seemed to be between a rock and a hard place without being able to refute everything she said.
She turned to focus on the child, both eyes met, Yuna leaned in so that her face was close to hers and so that her words would be engraved in her mind to never forget them.
"Do you know what that quality I'm talking about is?"
"..."
She smiled as she put a finger to her forehead, Hiro flinching at her icy touch.
"You must put aside all kinds of honesty, virtue and righteousness. Become someone who shows no mercy when it comes to killing, whether they are devils... Or humans"
She finally walked away "Or in other words, you must be missing a screw. Devils kill sadistically, without remorse and for them it's a pleasure they don't bother to hide. But when you show them things change, Devils love to be in control of the situation but when it gets out of hand, right at that moment, that's when they start to feel real fear, when they see that a human doesn't show even the slightest sign of terror towards them, and when they start killing them without mercy and without remorse showing the same cruelty that they themselves showed in the beginning, along with a lot of antipathy, that's when they know that the chances of winning a battle have been greatly reduced."
She looked at her nails "It's like when two objects with the same force face each other, in the end only the one that resists the most will prevail" she looked at Hiro disinterestedly "In our case we try to make the tables always turn in our favor with training and extra weapons but the most powerful weapon we will always have will be this" she pointed a finger at her head "If you don't have everything I just told you, no kind of training will help. That's why Public Security was created, the main objective is to kill the devils, human lives take a backseat, it's ironic when at the same time we make contracts with other devils to kill their kind, but in the end it's all about control, if you can control the situation, you can control what you want "
Hiro clenched his fist but his eyes were anything but confident. What the doctor said made him speechless. He just didn't want to believe that he had to become such a nefarious person to get where he wanted. So it is for this reason that Kishibe is the way he is, he had to destroy his mind to stay alive in this job, the same case would go for Quanxi but she didn't seem to show it as often as the man who always comes home late and alcoholic.
Hiro couldn't find a setting where he could enjoy killing devils, they had to die of course, they murdered innocents and the only way to stop them was to kill them too, but finding satisfaction and fun in killing devils or not was something it didn't go well with him, he didn't think it was his style.
Having fun killing would only make him look mentally ill, or something beyond insane. Hiro didn't want to think about it, and he definitely didn't want his mind to end up the same as Kishibe's.
"But here you are" Yuna hadn't finished and now her tone was a little higher "You come here to tell me that you want to save people, but all you'll do is get killed before you even try!" she pointed a finger at him "The devils will see you as easy prey to kill, the moment you turn to save people it will be when some demon will take advantage to kill you!"
She grunted and crossed her arms. "Worst of all, you'll become another waste of the state's time and resources if you die before your first year!"
She seemed to calm down after a few seconds, she looked at Hiro with a look that could only be described as disgust, but deep down she was only disappointed "So yes child, your dream is nothing more than a joke to me, one that cannot be fulfilled if it is in the hands of someone like you""
Hiro was speechless, he wanted to speak, shout or say something but words just couldn't be formed at the moment. Everything Yuna told her was still on her mind, for a moment he bothered to hesitate to continue with this: if he thought about it carefully she could be right in certain aspects, like the fact that he shouldn't care about making devils suffer, after all they are murderers equal to or worse than humans, and they deserved to die.
Although making suffer for fun was not on that list, he would try to keep his mind calm at all times.
Hiro questioned many times what he felt about devils, he was afraid of them of course, and he didn't like them at all, after all, one of them murdered his parents, leaving him with a great void that to this day is very difficult to fill. He missed them more than anything in the world, if he could go back to those days, even in his dreams, he would do it without hesitation.
But a devil took everything from him, his only family was taken from him. Perhaps he would have lived with a lot of hatred in his heart because of this, hatred towards devils in general.
So it would have been...
If not for the fact that Kishibe made sure to eliminate the devil that killed his parents. The root of his hatred was gone the same day his parents died if it ever existed, and he couldn't help but thank Kishibe for that.
And after that, only the pain and sadness that came with a loss remained.
For which Hiro no longer had anything else to hate or blame in this world, he only knew that the demons had to die, not because he wanted revenge or on a whim, revenge was conceived for him that same day and he was not the one who took it upon himself of that, but because he knows what it feels like to go through this same suffering, losing someone as important as Mom or Dad is an unimaginable pain and every day there were people who go through the same thing, whether they are children their age who are orphans or other people who lose a loved one.
But here he was, alive because he was given the opportunity to continue in this life, but at the same time he became a spectator knowing what could be the fate that awaits each citizen of the country if they didn't do something, if he didn't do something. He didn't like the idea of standing idly by while more people die for no reason, he wanted to help in some way, he really wanted to, whether it was killing demons or saving people from them.
But what Dr. Nishimura said made him doubt this again. If he had to become insane to get into this job, if he must not care about the common good, if he must become unsympathetic to the people around him and especially to devils, then what was the joke of being a devil hunter?
How do you save people by not helping them in the first place? It didn't make sense to it, but Dr. Nishimura boasted that this was the most appropriate way to be a hunter, apart from the fact that this was also the way to have a long life in this job, it was apparently the best way to save people. people.
Do you save people by not saving people? Was that how they thought?
The hunters did live a sad reality.
"Well? Aren't you going to say anything?" Yuna challenged him to refute everything she said, but at this point she was very doubtful of him making her change her mind.
"I..." Hiro was going to speak but he was still in his own world analyzing the whole situation. In that moment of understanding a feeling was born in him, anger and annoyance alike. Right now he saw hunters as people who liked to complicate their lives, he couldn't believe that there really were people who forced themselves to destroy their minds or let certain events do it for them.
Life isn't rosy, his wasn't, and clearly for Kishibe it wasn't rosy either, but why let that stop you from getting on with your life? You can always find new ways to continue with life or find new goals in it, like Kishibe who despite everything was still a hunter, only he had not told him the events that led his mind to how it is today.
And there was also himself, who now after a terrible event wanted to be a devil hunter.
At least that was what he had learned in this short time. The others could have another point of view but for the moment he would defend this one.
As for cold-blooded, remorseless murder, to him this job was something that simply had to be done, because for every devil that dies, one more person is saved, but he felt there was no need to become an outsider sadness and happiness of others, and definitely not someone who enjoys killing as a hobby.
With those last thoughts, Hiro finally gave her the answer Yuna wanted so badly.
"Everything you said" Hiro spoke taking Yuna's full attention and making Quanxi adjust her ear just to listen to him.
"I really don't give a fuck"
0O0O
"And let the last one be vanilla" he put the money on the counter so he wouldn't have to give it away when he already has everything in his hands.
"In a moment sir."
Kishibe was finally outside the building, after that confrontation he had with Makima he was finally able to go out and find a man with an ice cream and popsicle stall, who by luck or pure chance was passing by at that very moment.
He asked for a lemon lollipop, it was the closest thing to an alcoholic drink because of how acidic they tended to be, he asked Quanxi for a chocolate one, and knowing Hiro's preferences he asked for a vanilla one.
While he watched as the vendor put the flavors into little cones, he wondered how Hiro is doing right now, maybe he's having a hard time and Yuna is attacking him with a great monologue that came out of her sleeve. Or maybe Hiro has found a way to convince her, many things can happen, because for him sometimes Hiro can be unpredictable when he wants to be.
Yuna was not far behind, sometimes she can do something that no one would imagine, so having two people in the same room and who can become unpredictable when they want to, makes you imagine one and a thousand possible scenarios.
He just hoped that Hiro wouldn't be so stupid again and run off with Makima.
"According to some accounts and records, the first signs of the existence of ice cream date back to around 4000 and 2000 BC. It is said that then the Chinese ate a mixture of snow brought from the mountains with rice, fruits, honey and spices, and that it was the high society that could consume it at first because of the cost of its ingredients"
"..."
"..."
"..."
"Calm down, I asked him"
"Here, sir" the vendor handed Kishibe the two ice creams in his hands and he managed to take the lollipop between one of them.
"Thank you" he thanked as he walked away.
"thanks to you!"
Kishibe returned to the building a little faster on his footsteps, he didn't want this to melt.
0O0O
Both women widened their eyes in surprise but for different reasons: Yuna couldn't believe how disrespectful this child became from one moment to the next, maybe living with Kishibe affected him too much. And Quanxi... Well it was the first time she heard Hiro swear, that sweet and silly boy she always saw now wanted to start swearing like an adult.
'They grow so fast'
"Wh-what did you just say brat?" Yuna said between astonished and angry, being insulted by a boy brought up some very unpleasant memories.
Hiro tried to put on the bravest look on her as he stepped forward "I said I don't care about everything you said!" He repeated his words again but trying not to swear this time, in fact that last surprised even him, it was just an impulse that for some reason he felt appropriate to do.
"What the fuck, didn't you hear everything I said!?"
"I did it!" he replied "But with all due respect doctor, I cannot believe or be part of your beliefs!"
Yuna was confused at this point and her face showed it as she looked at Hiro as if he was the strangest thing she's ever seen in her life.
"What do you mean!? You think you know more than I've seen and learned in 20 years!?"
Hiro shook his head "I didn't say that, what I mean is that all hunters just believe that they have to force themselves to destroy their own minds in order to be useful in the future, I don't believe that, I feel like there might be more than one way to be in this job!"
"Oh of course there is, it's called a receptionist, don't be stupid, think with your brain! You'll die on the first day if you play the hero without a cape and you won't save anyone!"
"That you can't know for sure!"
"Of course I do, you're not the first kid to want to be a hero, you'll die on the first day and I know it!"
"No, you don't!"
Yuna was beginning to lose her patience, even Quanxi began to worry a bit thinking about whether she should intervene or not, if Hiro crossed the line it was very likely that Yuna would no longer be willing to accept it.
"And why do you think I don't know, oh great protagonist of your own world!?"
Hiro really felt angry this time "BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T EVEN GIVE ME A CHANCE!"
Hiro yelled so loudly that he silenced the entire room from the small commotion, unbeknownst to them outside the field a girl was rubbing her ears from the sudden scream that affected her advanced senses.
Makima knew that it was a bad idea to strain her ears and activate the sound field at that moment to listen to the conversation through the glass.
While she tried to appease the sudden pain in her ears, she didn't bother to receive even a look at the person who returned to this place but now with three very sweet and strong smells.
Kishibe unbelievably managed to open the door even with everything he had in his hands, when he entered the room his gaze contorted into one of annoyance at meeting Makima AGAIN.
But why was she rubbing her ears?
"It seems that I arrived just at the moment where everything is getting interesting, they are already shouting at each other" Kishibe mentioned as he stopped in front of the glass, he would wait until the conversation calmed down before going in and delivering the appetizers, he just hoped it wouldn't take too long or they would start to melt.
Makima was finally able to ease the pain in her ears and refocused on what was happening on the field. She and Kishibe stood there looking through the glass, not looking at each other or speaking, just wanting to focus on what they were going to say next.
"Explain, what do you mean by that? That I haven't given you the chance? Even if I did, the result would be what I already told" Yuna crossed her arms and looked at Hiro blankly.
Hiro frowned at her "And how can you know with me?"
"Many like you wanted to become heroes and died..."
"Too bad for them," Hiro mentioned with sincerity, "But all those you've seen who think the same way as me, have they been afraid of dying?"
The doctor didn't understand where the boy was going with this, but she would play along for now "Naturally, everyone plays brave to a certain degree, but when they are close to the jaws of death, fear takes advantage of them and invades completely, that only makes them an even easier prey to hunt."
"I see" Hiro looked at the ground for a few seconds "What if it was different for once?" He looked up to face her and state everything he wanted to say.
Yuna frowned "In what way?"
"I mean, for once, someone who has good intentions in this job, don't be afraid. As you said, everyone becomes afraid and that's why no one survives, but what if the fear of dying was never an obstacle? If the only thing that existed in your mind was the idea of having to kill a devil because you know you have to, and by doing it you will be doing something good for people, you will be saving them and extending their lifespan"
"In the same way the result would be the same, you can be brave, of course, but what about the most important quality? If you don't have it then-"
"Who cares about that!? The devils will be too busy trying to kill us to realize one of us has to go to the asylum!" Hiro interrupted her.
"What are you saying?" It seemed to Yuna that every word this child said only generated more confusion in her, she didn't remember when was the last time she encountered such a... such a rare specimen.
Hiro sighed scratching his head "Look, I've wanted this for 3 years because I feel like it's the only way I can contribute something to society, not be something like a lawyer, a policeman, a firefighter, a politician or a doctor. Of course, all of them also contribute a lot to society, but hunters are the main branch of security in the world"
Everyone paid attention to him, those who were inside and outside alike "When I was younger they took away what I loved the most, they were going to take me to an orphanage to live with children who lived the same fate as me; at that moment I realized about what I wanted to do when I was an adult, even though those kids were the same age as me, I couldn't help but feel sorry for them, I knew that there were more people suffering the same all over the world not just in Japan... "
"That's why I want this, I want other people to be able to live their lives in a normal and happy way in his way for much longer" his eyes were calmer, but a purpose burned in him that he was willing to fulfill .
"Being a devil hunter is one way to do it, and that's why I want to become one."
On the other side, Makima gasped in surprise and her eyes widened a little when she heard that revelation, her face tried to appear impassive but the nervous tic in her eyes only made it more noticeable how worried or scared she seemed now, Kishibe noticed it when he gave her a brief glance.
Again that feeling that she had classified as fear had returned, but in another much worse way.
So that was why he had come here in the first place, she must have figured it out and felt foolish not to take it into account. In fact, she had never thought about the main reason why a boy like Hiro would come to this place in the first place, she had been too busy being fascinated by his presence to think about it.
Makima was no stranger to information on how public security handled the hunting corps, it was one of the things she was taught here; but at the same time she was very aware of the fate that eventually awaited each hunter and huntress alike, death.
They all die, some before others, and the way they do it is one of the cruelest and bloodiest possible, it will always depend on how far the devils take his imagination.
And Hiro wanted to be a hunter... Makima felt like this day was only getting worse and worse and only made her afraid and worried at the same time, and somehow she managed to find the source of all those feelings, Hiro.
"Spare me the story of your life child, I already heard it from the other idiot. However, in all sincerity I can't believe that you survive as a hunter like that" Yuna answered with a mocking and serious tone.
"I just want to save at least one person in my life!" Hiro snapped back at her and held up a finger to reiterate her point.
"Even after doing it you will die, you won't have a long life" Yuna was not going to be intimidated much less by a 10 year old boy.
So she kept her impassive tone to show that she stuck to her beliefs and ideas, she crossed her arms waiting for what the boy would say next...
But what he said next to her would leave her thinking for a long time.
"So!? Don't we all die one day!? I don't mind dying as long as I know I'm doing the right thing, plus I'll do my best all the time because Kishibe will be the one to train me!"
Kishibe could almost feel Makima looking at him intently as if she wanted him to give her more answers, he would gladly ignore her.
"Even if I have a short life I won't mind, I'll leave this world happy with myself!" He pointed a finger at Yuna almost smiling "You can't guess that I'll die sooner than normal because I haven't even entered here and my training hasn't started, so I don't have a chance to get into a fight with a devil yet! I don't even I know how good a hunter I will be to survive out there, much less would you know it, you will have to see it with your own eyes"
He didn't know if saying this could count to further fulfilling his ideal but she would say it anyway.
"D-dying is for losers! Yes, I said! H-how do you like that, doctor!?" Hiro closed his eyes fearfully with expectation and with some fear.
The reason? Previously he had managed to function as correctly as he considered it in this conversation, he told his dream, his ideals and why he believes in them. However, he did not know at what moment Yuna began to see him in the most impassive way and with an aura that denoted severity causing anxiety in him, which caused all him gossip to go overboard to the point of saying strange things.
Yuna took a moment to analyze the entire situation, from the beginning going over everything Kishibe had told her.
"The boy is not mentally well, doctor"
"If you ever had hope in us I think you will find it again in that kid"
So it was that, all this time it had been that and he had said it over and over again and in different ways but until now she had realized it.
Yuna felt that all those years of study along with that university degree were for nothing right now, and it was also his own fault for getting too carried away and only calming down until the end.
The fear of death, one of the primordial and oldest fears of humanity, has been born in the mind of every human being on earth and always develops in one way or another, always depending on the person or situation. Everyone is afraid of something that is inevitable, something that cannot be stopped, something that will come to everyone, something that they know will be harmful and no matter what they do, they will not be able to stop it... All of this and more is related in the fear of death
For this reason it is a fear that is too strong that even adults have come to experience even if they boast that death does not affect them in their daily lives. But that thought is always there, in the back of each person's mind, always reminding them that eventually or when they least expect it, they will die.
Everyone denies it, but it is the truth, it is a fear that cannot be forgotten while you are still alive, it can be buried in your mind but you will always keep it alive.
The government and public security knew that the Death Devil was somewhere in the world, doing or waiting for anything to go unnoticed.
But even knowing all this, in front of her was a 10-year-old boy who boasted that he was not afraid of death, that he would face it at all costs and give his all to save people, he would die happy even if he saved a person in his pathetic and short life.
Yuna had finally seen it, and she understood why Kishibe and Quanxi wanted to put it here so badly.
Perhaps the boy didn't know it, but he was already showing signs of the most important quality to be a hunter.
He was crazy, because he didn't care about dying.
Taking into account that eventually everyone will be afraid of death, he was only 10 years old but he was already sending all his fears to hell like an adult would... Or like the biggest idiot in the world.
Childhood is one of the most important parts for the human being, but it is also a phase where the mind can be manipulated and changed at will with the help of other factors and people involved.
But seeing it from a common point of view with which many people outside public security and who watch a lot of family television agree, they agree that childhood is a key and beautiful stage for children, a time where they will live great and beautiful moments that they will gladden their innocent minds before entering a next stage.
Living childhood is like having a long vacation before entering and meeting the horrible world in which they really live. Several things happen from adolescence to adulthood, where ideas and dreams are questioned and where you don't know why you came into this world but to suffer.
However, it seemed that Hiro had been created by taking several of those parts, causing him to consequently say things that only adults would think.
If a normal person saw a 10-year-old boy saying that he doesn't mind dying, they would probably feel sorry and sad for the boy, they could only imagine the horrible things he went through to make him think that way at a very young age.
'So that's why you're not mentally well, because that kind of thing normally a 10-year-old wouldn't think of. Damn you Kishibe, you were right'
So was that why Quanxi hadn't said anything all this time? Why did she know that she would realize what they had seen in the child?
Yuna resisted the urge to slap her face, at least Quanxi knew that she would snap out of her mind and try to break the boy's dreams and ideals, eventually making Hiro defend his thoughts so that she would realize what was really wrong with him.
She probably had been manipulated by them and hadn't realized it.
'Cunning motherfuckers'
How difficult was it to be told once and for all? Even if this conversation had ended a long time ago, did they enjoy watching her go crazy?
But then there was the other thing that Yuna still wasn't convinced about, how would the boy perform in combat?
She would have thought more about it... Until she remembered what Quanxi said.
"We will be his trainers, you don't need to do almost anything, you just have to accept the kid and everything will be over"
If so, even if she didn't oversee his training, at the end of all this Hiro would have a lot to prove to her to make it clear that all her training had been worth it, because he would have two of the best hunters in Japan at his side to oversee his training.
And if he failed in the end, then she would have been right all this time, he would become another waste of resources despite thinking like a hero and having the best possible training.
But even if the idea of having this child here didn't appeal to her at all, she would be willing to wait until that day to render a final verdict, be it a good one or a bad one.
She already did it twice, with Kishibe and Quanxi, she could do it a third time with Hiro in 10 years. Plus it looked good if on the resume if said that the hunter had the approval of the director of the Research Center, she would almost be doing him a favor if something good happened.
So by this point she had already made up her mind, this would hurt her in many ways but the most important ones would be that Makima's training will be severely affected by the boy's presence, that little friendship will ruin her study plan but he would strive to make Makima what the government expects her to be.
She couldn't take it to another research facility, she couldn't risk letting more hunters know of the control devil existence, not yet at least. This was by far the safest place to have Makima, besides she had worked very hard to have the position of director in this place and the mere presence of a child would not get her out of here.
The second thing was that she would have to endure the presence of Kishibe and Quanxi for another 10 years, she felt that the world was always against her.
With a deep sigh, Yuna smoothed all her features and looked at Hiro with a blank, serious look.
"Okay boy..." she would regret this, she was very sure "You have my authorization to start your training as a Devil Hunter"
And just like that, she just sentenced a boy to a life of misery, even though he didn't know it yet.
"He made it ..."
"Wait really!?
"Finally"
"Shit" Kishibe mentioned really surprised "That son of a bitch really did it"
Next to him Makima just remained silent.
Hiro's heart skipped a beat at that moment, he was speechless and stunned by the doctor's unexpected words, but he quickly felt how slowly his face contorted in the purest of joy, that was probably the biggest smile and happy that anyone had ever seen him.
"WHAT, ARE YOU SERIOUS!?" Hiro asked the question of him wanting to make sure he had heard correctly.
Yuna seemed offended "Of course I do, when I say something I mean it"
"Oh my gosh it's really happening!" he turned to see Quanxi "Did you hear that, aunt Quanxi, I'm finally going to be a devil hunter!?"
Quanix blinked for a moment, somewhat surprised by the turn of events and how they ended, out of the corner of her eye she saw how Yuna was looking at her intently and with what appeared to be frustration, she would gladly ignore her.
She smiled at Hiro "I see so, well done kid" she turned to see Yuna with her cold face "I guess you finally managed to see what we saw"
Yuna turned her face away from looking at her preferring not to give her the satisfaction of knowing that they were right "Anyway, if he stays like this she might outlast the common standards, teach him the best of the best, otherwise all his talk will be for nothing"
She looked back at Hiro, he still seemed very happy not knowing the horrible future that would hold for him, right now he was happy wanting to be a devil hunter not ironically. How sad.
"The signature, Headmistress, if you would be so kind..." Quanxi drew her attention by reminding her of the last step. She pulled the face out of the bag of hers and handed it over
'Oh, right' Yuna took a pen out of her pocket and opened the letter, she was a little wrinkled from opening and closing it but it still looked decent enough to put her signature.
On the bottom left was the applicant's signature, Quanxi's signature could be seen there, on the bottom right was the small blank space where the training center director's signature should go, her signature. Between those two spaces a little further down was the well-known signature of the Prime Minister of Japan. Yuna sighed doubting again whether she should do this or not, she might still regret it… But at the same time she was very curious how things would develop from here.
She gave a brief glance to Hiro who was looking at her smiling waiting for her to sign, she frowned at her being very suspicious but she moved the pen anyway to write her own signature on the letter.
From here, there was no turning back.
She roughly handed the letter to Quanxi, she was more focused on what she wanted to say next.
"Listen to me boy" Yuna said with authority and immediately Hiro straightened up "Having said that I want you to know what awaits you" she crossed her arms and closed her eyes.
"The government went to the trouble of accepting you without the need to go through the pre-trial tests, if you had, you probably would have died, just because these two idiots have done Japan's dirty work they turned a blind eye and sent the request for a time"
She looked at him with a frown "Don't forget that the only reason you managed to get here was in a privileged way. In any case, the government expects great things from you in the next 10 years, so it will be 120 months of training, when you reach the age of 20 you will have completed your training and consequently you will have graduated"
"I'm not sure and I don't care what kind of training you will receive from Kishibe and Quanxi, but no matter what it is you should know that it will be very thorough, just like any study and learning, devil hunter training is not easy at all. You can understand right? It won't be like a walk in the park"
Hiro nodded, he had mentally prepared herself for a while imagining how exhausting it would be to train, although he would have to feel it first and foremost.
"You will be allowed to use the entertainment fields along with the rest of the equipment necessary for your training starting Monday of next week, before you say anything, no, you can't come tomorrow, I'll use the whole weekend in one… Research, so I need peace and quiet during these two days"
Quanxi seemed to agree with this "I guess it's okay, what do you say kid"
Hiro nodded thinking that one last day off before the big day wouldn't hurt "Sounds good to me, but can it be in the afternoon? I have to go to school in the morning"
Yuna shrugged "I don't care, discuss that with your teachers, I won't be the one supervising your training anyway, too bad…" she said the last thing in a whisper.
"Now get out of here for God's sake, I'm very busy and you've already taken up a lot of valuable time" she pointed to the door for them to leave her building.
Quanxi rolled her eyes but didn't say anything and just addressed Hiro "I guess that's it, lead the way kid"
"Yes" Hiro walked towards the door but stopped for a moment to look at Yuna "Umm, thank you very much doctor Nishimura, for accepting me, it means a lot to me"
She looked at him with annoyance "Yeah yeah, whatever, just go home"
Hiro finally made it to the door and took the knob to turn it "I still can't believe this is happening, I can't wait for Kishibe to hear about th-"
Hiro flinched in fear and surprise and was silent and stunned when he opened the door, probably anyone in his shoes would be when they have a Makima standing right in front of them with a very unreadable stare.
"Uuuh" Hiro couldn't formulate a single word right now, he felt nervous and uncomfortable at the same time. He had been so busy talking to Dr. Nishimura, that for a moment he had forgotten about the whole thing with Makima and how she had escaped from him.
He didn't have time to think of an explanation or what to say if she came back, so seeing her here all of a sudden was very unexpected. He didn't know what he could expect from her either, probably something bad, in the worst case maybe they wouldn't even be friends with her anymore.
That was an unpleasant thought.
"..." Makima said nothing and just looked at him with a blank stare, her eyes never leaving his as if they were a way to keep him in her place and prevent him from leaving without explaining himself.
"M-makima... You're back, that's good hehe" Hiro laughed nervously trying, once again, to break the awkward silence that he could remain between them.
She didn't say anything for a moment longer, until she took a deep breath and exhaled in an attempt to calm her nerves, and finally had the courage to say something "So you want to be a Devil Hunter?"
It didn't sound like a question, more like a fact and that's when Hiro realized that he hadn't told Makima the reason why he was coming here in the first place. Now that he thought about it, he had only been asking about her but he didn't give her the opportunity to ask about him, to all this Hiro remembered that he still needed to ask a question, so his little game of finding out more about Makima was not over yet. .
"Oh, yeah, I... Umm, I kind of forgot to mention it, sorry, my fault" he scratched his head feeling a bit apologetic, but wondering what she could be thinking right now.
She didn't seem angry but she seemed much more distant, it was like seeing Quanxi.
"I see" She looked at the ground lost in her thoughts.
Hiro wanted to find a way to fix things "Makima I... About what happened recently..."
"It's not important" she answered quickly, not wanting to talk about that topic right now, in fact that had been the reason why she had come back here, she wanted to fix things with Hiro but after hearing that he wanted to be a hunter... They gave her new things to ponder and they sounded more important than finding out if she was a devil or not.
"N-no, I really want-"
"It's. Not. Important" Makima snapped back, not wanting to have this conversation right now. She had a lot to think about regarding Hiro and she didn't feel like answering his questions anymore.
Hiro winced at how sharp she seemed, he couldn't help but feel depressed and guilty about what he was going through. No doubt she was not in a good mood and it was all his fault.
They would have stayed longer like this but Yuna's voice interrupted them.
"Makima, come here, we have to start with this, we already lost a lot of time"
"Eh?" from his point of view Hiro couldn't understand what they meant. He turned to face the doctor and Makima brushed past him easily and quickly in her walk.
He tried to say one last thing before leaving her, he stretched out her arm wanting to get her attention but the words wouldn't come out of her mouth. Adding fuel to the fire, when Makima got to Yuna's side she seemed to be looking somewhere in particular, but not at him, completely ignoring him.
That was all it took for Hiro to know that they were deadlocked, at least for now. On Monday he would try to patch things up with her.
Quanxi looked at the whole scene with interest but at the same time being very cautious, it seemed that something was wrong between them. This was not good.
Hiro and Quanxi finally left the field and the huntress closed the door leaving the doctor and Makima to her own business.
"That was..." Quanxi tried to say something to describe what was going on between Hiro and Quanxi.
"Awkward, it seems that was their first fight, and it's only been a day since they met, you impress me boy" Kishibe replied mockingly approaching both of them with their cones still intact.
"I had forgotten that I sent you to buy that" Quanxi took hers in her hand.
"Here boy" Kishibe offered the vanilla ice cream to Hiro, also noticing how depressed he looked now "You're too young to drink alcohol, so forget your sorrows with this for now"
Hiro took the cone in his hands and gave Kishibe a small smile being grateful that he remembered his favorite flavor. "Thank you."
"Well done by the way, you managed to convince that witch to let you in here, you can take that as an achievement in your career as a hunter" he placed his hand on her head.
"I..." Kishibe didn't know what else to say, he wasn't good at this when it came to this "You did well" he patted his head a few times before retracting it.
Hiro smiled happily having a bit of that previous happiness again "Thank you Kishibe"
"How cruel, aren't you going to thank me too? I was the one who requested the request in the first place" Quanxi said with fake sadness.
Hiro laughed "Thank you aunty Quanxi, really thank you" he managed to hug her even with the ice cream in his hand.
When Hiro broke away from the hug he looked at Kishibe curiously "Wait, how did you manage to hear what we were saying in there?"
Kishibe pointed his finger at the ceiling, Hiro followed him and could see how some speakers were attached to the ceiling pointing directly towards the place where the spectators should be.
"There is a hidden button to listen to what is happening here"
"Oh" Hiro took a bite of his ice cream savoring the taste of vanilla ice cream "How convenient"
"Hmm it looks like they're about to do something interesting" Kishibe mentioned as he looked into the field.
The others came closer to see, Hiro looked curious and confused as Makima stood in the middle of that place, being completely still and looking at the opposite wall, she seemed to be waiting for something.
Yuna was a few meters behind her with a folder of notes with several pages that no one knows where she got from.
"All right Makima, just like the last time" Yuna spoke clearly so that she could hear her, although they could also hear her on the other side.
"What are they going to do?" Hiro asked being very curious about this whole situation "Is she going to train or something?"
His question was answered when out of nowhere beneath the ground of the field a small hole opened up revealing a small ramp that held a sizable shooting target.
Kishibe already knew what was about to go through.
"Hmm?" Hiro raised an eyebrow, very surprised by what was happening.
"Are you ready?" Yuna asked.
Makima nodded looking directly at the target as her only target "Yes"
"Very good, start... Now" Yuna said with her hand already ready with the pen to write down as many details as possible.
Makima raised her arm and twisted her hand into the shape of a gun with her thumb and forefinger, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath trying to calm down and clear her mind, just concentrating on what she was going to do and what she wanted to do now.
And right now she just wanted to destroy that target, either to complete the report or to get even.
She opened her eyes revealing her golden irises and being fully prepared, a single word left her throat.
"Bang"
The sound of that bang was very loud, it was like the sound of a cannonball exploding. The target which was previously completely intact, in less than a second had been completely pierced at its halfway point, with few pieces of the wood scattered on the ground as most of it was pulverized due to the impact.
Hiro's jaw almost fell to the ground at what he saw, he was shocked looking between what was left of the target and Makima who seemed calm even after the unreal thing she did.
Her ice cream fell to the ground unable to think and believe in anything else.
Did she just destroy that with an imaginary gun!? How is that possible!?
"B-b-b-but w-what-did just pass by?" Hiro asked still dumbfounded pointing a trembling finger at Makima "D-did she just..."
"Believe what your eyes see kid" Kishibe looked at him knowing what Hiro's reaction could be to the powers of the control devil "Welcome to the world of hunters"
"Th-th-th-that was..." Hiro still couldn't describe what he saw, he felt astonished... And very fascinated.
"Hiro, there are many things we should talk to you about, I think the ideal thing is to talk when we get home" Quanxi took him by the shoulder leading him to the exit.
Hiro dragged himself out of there with his finger still pointing at the field, Kishibe followed behind them and gave Makima a brief look hoping she still remembered their conversation and the one condition he put on her
The two hunters and the hunter-to-be had finally left the building.
Makima looked to her right for a moment sniffing the little air that came out of there "They're gone"
"Really? Finally..." Yuna sighed with exhaustion and happiness "I didn't think I could take them any longer"
She approached Makima and carefully observed all the destruction that the shot had left "Very good, the radius of impact has increased considerably and they are becoming more powerful, hopefully in a few years you will be able to go through concrete and metal"
She walked away to go to the entrance "Wait for me here, I'll go get some things in my office"
She was about to open the door but Makima still had something to say "Doctor wait"
"Hm? What's wrong?" She looked at her tiredly, she was tired of everyone interrupting her on this day.
"It's... It's about Hiro" Yuna became alert at that moment and she had realized that she had put aside that little friendship between Hiro and Makima, she had not addressed it with the boy when they spoke so it would be better to talk about it with him another day.
"What's the matter with him?" even though she knew the answer she wanted her to ask to force her to get what she felt out of her.
"Well... what do you think about him?"
"I don't like him at all" she answered her directly saying what she thought.
"Ah... I see" Makima felt depressed for a moment knowing the doctor's opinion about Hiro, she expected... Well she expected something better.
"Is that what you wanted to ask me?"
She composed herself and shook her head "Actually, I wanted to ask you if..." Makima didn't know why asking this was so difficult "If you would let me spend... more time with him"
Despite everything that happened this day, she still wanted to spend time with Hiro, things may not have ended well on their second day as friends, but she wanted to see if she had a chance to put things right and get everything back on track. normal as on the first day.
But she couldn't keep slipping away anymore, if she wanted to talk whenever she wanted with her friend, then she needed Dr. Nishimura's permission to proceed. For that reason, knowing her opinion and her answers were very important to her.
Yuna closed her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose, this whole thing was only giving her more and more trouble. Considering the things that could happen if she said no, because maybe it was true what Quanxi said and what she herself thought yesterday.
Makima still can't control her emotions and a single burst of one of them could cause disaster, it was like a storm with a high chance of becoming a hurricane.
She would have to measure her words well to get her to understand them in a way that didn't affect her mind.
After all this, perhaps it was time to delve deeper into this area of social interactions.
"Makima, what is one of the first lessons I taught you?"
She looked at the ground with regret "Relationships are an obstacle in the life of hunters"
"Exactly"
"They are useless to achieve our goal"
"Yes"
Yuna got close enough to Makima to lean down and face her.
"So, even knowing everything, why do you still want to be his friend? I know you've never interacted with anyone but me, but why try now with a kid you barely met yesterday?" Her look was serious as she waited for a response from the girl.
"I..." Makima tried to give her an answer to all of that, but much of what happened happened through a simple outburst of curiosity and happiness. Which ultimately led to what is happening now.
"..."
"I don't know..." Makima replied without being able to say anything to the doctor, she simply knew that she wanted to be friends with Hiro, she really wanted him and she felt it deep down in what they call her heart. Or at least that's what she wanted to believe.
Yuna stood up not being surprised by her answer "Of course you wouldn't know, you still can't figure out the little details"
Makima knew that it was crazy to have a friend when her destiny was to be a devil hunter, Yuna had told her that for them there was only the extermination of devils and there should be nothing else to distract them.
Yuna walked away to go back to the door but she looked at Makima one last time, she looked dejected to remind him that she had made a mistake in her training.
Yuna rolled her eyes at that, it was as if a gloom of sadness rose over her, at the same time she wanted to make sure that Makima's emotions were in balance, for that she would have to tell him a couple of things that she was upset about. per say, but in the end there was no other choice for this point.
"Yes, social relationships are useless in the life of hunters, you are destined to be one, but keep in mind this girl, that boy also wants to be a hunter, can things change there? I don't know, find out for yourself"
With that Yuna left the field leaving a wide-eyed Makima in astonishment at not thinking of that possibility.
"Hey, who was the moron that dirty the floor?"
0O0O
"Now that we're all in the car, I think it's a good time to ask you" Kishibe frowned at Quanxi as he started the car "What the hell are you thinking Quanxi?"
"Hm? What do you mean?" Quanxi she looked at him acting like she doesn't know what's going on.
"You know what I mean, why so much effort to get Hiro to train at this age, in this place and right where that girl resides?" Kishibe could finally get the answers behind all of Quanxi's recent behavior.
"What are you talking about?" Hiro who was in the back seat watching the whole conversation looked at both adults in confusion.
Quanxi shrugged "Why not? It looks like a good place"
"Stop joking and tell me the truth"
Quanxi sighed thinking that maybe it was a good time to talk about this, first they would need a lot of alcohol because they were about to explain a LOT to Hiro.
"I think it's time we told him" Quanxi left the word there hanging in the air for Kishibe to understand.
Of course he knew what she meant "Why? Is there a reason why he should know that kind of information"
"Know what? What are you talking about?" Hiro asked looking between the two but was ignored.
"If he's going to be there for 10 years it's better for him to know, you can't hide this from him any longer, we either tell him or eventually that girl will tell him"
"Tch, dammit" Kishibe looked ahead thinking if it would be a good idea to tell Hiro about the kind of being that Makima was.
Hiro thought she was a devil, he was right, but he didn't know the rest of the control devil story, and he wasn't sure how he would react.
"Hey, I'm back here, I can hear everything you say" Hiro crossed his arms annoyed that they talk about him when he was very close.
"Oh don't worry Hiro, when we get home we'll both tell you something... Very interesting" Quanxi leaned back in the seat.
"Stories or something? Oh! Will this be my first Hunter class!?"
"Something like that, but I'll ask you a question kid" Quanxi stretched out her hand to adjust the rearview mirror and look at Hiro.
"Do you think you can stay friends with Makima for the next 10 years?"

Chapter premiered on wattpad on 03/7/2023
Notes: Aaaaand cut, that's all folks.
I've been writing the end of this chapter for like 6 fucking hours, someone kill me because I started writing it at 3 in the morning and it's already 9 am ._.
I'm sorry I screwed up with the release time of this chapter, I said that I was going to leave sooner rather than later but it was the opposite, in the end I made a chapter of 10k words fucking.
I wanted that Hiro and Yuna conversation to feel as natural as possible, not sure if I got it right in the end but I think the amount of words makes up for something decent.
I mean I didn't think it was going to happen to me with creativity this time, I thought it would be shorter like a 4k word chapter.
Do you want to know something funny? That after chapter 15 I had thought that everything that happened in chapters 16, 17 and 18 would happen in one XD ? imagine that monstrous amount of words in a single chapter. No bro, I myself would have sent the story to hell for that exaggerated amount of words that makes you not want to read it.
I once saw a guy update an evangelion story after a year, and it released a 50k word chapter ._. At that moment I sent his story to hell and I better started reading something short.
For this reason there are random chapters like 17 with that conversation between Makima and Kishibe.
And then we had this one with Hiro and Yuna.
Hmm, look at those parallels, Makima meeting her future father-in-law and Hiro meeting her future (but unlikely) mother-in-law.
I don't have much to say about this chapter about the plot, from now on Hiro will spend more time in the training center studying different things to be a hunter. As you could see, behind that scared child is someone with a great goal that is not going to let anyone send it to the trash.
But don't worry, I'll take away Hiro's fear of demons faster than you think, by force, but I'll do it in the end.
That said, I think I'll make a drastic decision now, but tell me what you think if you want to see something more in Hiro's childhood.
Because I have thought that after 3 more chapters we will start with the arc of the gun demon.
Oh bastard this feels exciting, it is from this arc where I have imagined more things for the story so my imagination may shine like never before.
It's like your compa says the one who wants to be a rapper in the third world "Things are coming"
Don't go yet, I want to take advantage of this space to criticize the chainsaw man fandom, something that I really should have done months ago but never found the opportunity.
And because I have the right to do it.
First: What was that bullshit of the hearts in the eyes of Asa xd? That's where I started to see that everyone in the fandom is hallucinating.
Friend, they weren't hearts xd, there are different ways to draw the pupils of the eyes, I'm not an expert but I think that from that perspective many got confused and came out with that stupidity.
"Yoooo Asa has hearts in her eyes, she loves Denji ? ゚ムノ?"
What stupid hearts? Don't be hallucinating
Second: About the relationship between Asa and Denji, because lately it has been made clear to us that Fujimoto wants to make Asa a romantic partner for Denji. I don't think the idea is bad at all, I see it as a positive change for Denji's character, I think that for once in his life he deserves to have a woman who loves him sincerely, but who loves Denji and not the chainsaw.
The problem is that this couple made the fandom become like Boku no hero overnight, but more heterosexual.
I'm fed up with those fucking cringe fan arts and comics of Asa and Denji SHIT, IF YOU DO SOMETHING, DON'T DO IT WITH CRINGE INCLUDED.
WHAT IS YOUR FUCKING PROBLEM? I would pass one to them but I don't want them to die of cringe, although it is very likely that they already have.
Third: The demon of reading comprehension.
I think that of all the problems in the fandom this is the one that started to annoy me the most.
On the one hand we have people who couldn't understand chainsaw man's work at first, like me and I had to read important parts to understand certain things, at the same time looking for things in wikifandom. These people look for answers to things that they did not understand or did not take into account and create their own theories.
And on the other hand we have people who, instead of helping to answer their questions, come out with "The demon of reading comprehension strikes again" I curse the bastard on facebook who came up with such stupidity, now thanks to him everyone is afraid to ask something
You will see those subjects who boast of having understood the work the first time and who tell you that joke about the devil of reading comprehension, they believe they are superior in a non-ironic way, and I have seen several belittle the intellect of others for not understanding the "complex" work of chainsaw man
Fuck off
"Friend, I just had a question, there's no need to say how stupid I am for not understanding a manga that I enjoyed just like you :("
Sometimes they do suck with that, especially because CSM is a work that can be somewhat short and that does not give rise to many explanations in the panels, for example, to this day it is not entirely clear how Makima controls others, we only know that she must consider them inferior but it seems that she can do it in many ways.
Do you remember how Nayuta turned Yoru into a dog? Yes, that may be a way that the manga doesn't tell us or explain enough unless you go to the fandomwiki and discover it from another guy who discovered it before you, but then a guy who came out of the sewer will come to say how stupid you are for not understanding that part.
Look, for example, I still don't fully understand that there were two Pochitas for a moment, when he ripped out his heart he threw it to the ground and that little one that flew to the ground was the one that Makima fought at the end, is that so? how does it work? If not, I would be grateful if you could explain it to me better because I already have a scene prepared with that theme for this story.
I still think that this is one of the charms of CSM, that speed and dynamism of things, that it doesn't explain everything and makes you think about the answer, it's true that manga confuses a lot of people either because of how fast it read or because of translation errors in some fansub.
But keep in mind that there are also valid questions and theories that we should think about if they are coherent or not, but I do not see the need to belittle people who want to remove a doubt about such a part and that a bastard comes to say x1204 time the devil of reading comprehension strikes again.
I mean coherent questions and that are not so crazy, because when someone arrives with the theory that Makima was the demon of tomatoes there if they bully him XD
Well, no.
That's it, I really wanted to say that.
Tell me what you thought of this chapter.
Did you love it, did you hate it? Do you want to continue reading this?
Why does abusamadres release chapters so late?
Does he sleep well? No
What has he been doing all February?
Ufff what did I not do. Practically February I played like never in a long time.
I completed red dead redemption 2 and... Damn, awesome masterpiece.
I don't remember when was the last time I cried playing a video game, but seeing Arthur in his last ride while That's The Way It Is playing and remembering all the people he helped just touches your soul.
And his death as he watches the sunrise is just a sad but perfect ending for someone who redeemed himself by doing the right thing at the end of it all.
What a beautiful game.
I also finished god of war 4 and I hope to play ragnarok very soon, and that's basically what I did in February, that's why there was no chapter and because of how long it is you already saw.
And recently I bought a month of ps plus to play Gta online again, and I'm addicted again because I'm level 27 in less than a week xd, although today it's easier to get money there.
Goodbye, I was abusamadres and see you next time.
