Chapter 19: What a good day to know how to read.

Disclaimer: Just like that tasty Burger I saw a guy eating a few days ago at the mall, Chainsaw Man does not belong to me and is owned by Tatsuki Fujimoto... And the burger was owned by that unknown guy who I envied.

Damn, I'm hungry.

Kiga/Famin is among us.

0O0O

The sound of the pencil eraser hitting the notebook constantly with the index finger and the middle finger could barely be heard, if only there was more silence everyone in the room could easily hear it and consider it annoying, Hiro would also think the same but just the same shape continued to punish his notebook. It was like a little addiction when you're bored or trying to focus on something during class, you know it doesn't do anything to help you but you keep doing it anyway... Because deep down it's fun and addictive in an inexplicable way.

Doing this was like an involuntary response that the human body made to keep in constant motion while the mind worked at full speed, either they want to reformulate certain things or because they have so many things on their mind that it is impossible to concentrate on just one.

The second thing applied to Hiro, because today he couldn't concentrate on his own in class when he had a lot of things and ideas going through his head like a movie reel.

First of all, the emotion completely ate him up, Sunday passed quickly with nothing to do, and today was finally Monday, something that for many is a misfortune but for him it was something very exciting. Because today would finally be his first day of training.

He wondered how they would start, one and many thoughts running through his head: Kishibe would teach him how to use a knife? Quanxi he would teach him to fight?

Will they teach him how to shoot? It would be like the second time Hiro would take a weapon into his hands, the first time... It was... Very anticlimactic.

A year ago:

"Done, they're very shiny" Hiro said proudly as he looked at how white and polished the dishes were after washing them.

It was already 9 at night and Kishibe would come at any moment, as it had happened before. Hiro ate dinner without Kishibe whenever the latter came late, but the accumulation of dishes was somewhat alarming considering that only two people live here.

He got off the bench that he was using as a support and just at that moment the door of the apartment opened revealing a very shabby Kishibe with a tired face, with some blood stains on his white shirt and with a stench of alcohol that Hiro resented disliked

When he saw it Hiro frowned feeling annoyed "I already told you not to drink excessively, you make the apartment smell horrible" They had already spent money on flavorings to make the smell of alcohol disappear but Kishibe always came with a new smell.

Kishibe rubbed his hand over his face "Don't be so mean to me, I'm tired and I lost count of how many devils I killed today, and I think Quanxi hit me again although I don't remember, I had a bad time... So if you let me"

Kishibe walked over to the sofa and plopped down gracelessly falling asleep instantly. Hiro walked over to him looking at him with annoyance.

"Hey, hey don't fall asleep here or the sofas will reek of alcohol" he tried to shake him awake or move his body away from there but he wasn't strong enough to move someone like Kishibe.

As he tried to move it there was a small sound of something falling, Hiro looked at the ground and saw with surprise that one of Kishibe's pistols fell from all the movement.

He stood still, looking intently at the weapon, not quite sure what to do, he didn't know whether to leave it there and let Kishibe pick it up... On the other hand, this would be a good time to familiarize himself with the weapons used by experienced hunters, but Hiro he thought it was wrong, his rational part told him to have respect for other people's things... however, curiosity was taking over him and his irrational part told him to take it.

"Maybe I shouldn't" he tried to consider, but a second later he already had the gun in his hands "Or maybe I should."

Hiro looked at the weapon in wonder, it was the first time he had looked and touched one so closely, Kishibe usually kept his personal weapons in a trunk in his room so they would be safe.

This pistol did not seem to be anything out of the ordinary, it was one of those same ones that appeared in action movies or in magazines. It felt a little warm to the touch, maybe because it was used recently?

Hiro tried to replicate the way they aim a gun, with both of his hands he pointed around the room, for some reason it felt funny, like he was a super agent or detective from the books he was reading.

"I wonder if I can get a gun before I'm 18, if in the United States you can then in Japan too"

He now tried to aim with one hand, he felt that this way it was a little more difficult to keep the weapon level, but he also gained more style when aiming.

Hiro gave a cocky look "So that's how hunters feel... It feels aw-" maybe it was all the motion or just his bad luck but out of nowhere the trigger went off and a bullet shot out.

The bullet did not hit anyone, but it did have the infamous idea of landing on the television in the living room.

"Ah..." Hiro felt his blood run cold, from the fear of accidentally firing a gun and from him destroying the only television they had.

"Oh crap..." Hiro carefully set the gun down on the table not wanting another bullet to shoot out of there and hit something else. He looked at Kishibe and unbelievably he was still asleep.

He sighed in relief, not wanting to explain why he was playing with a weapon, Quanxi would probably make fun of him, he approached the TV in a panic not knowing how to fix this situation.

Instantly he had an idea that could easily work.

0O0O

The receptionist was very confused when he saw a boy dragging a damaged TV across the lobby at 10 PM.

"Tch... This... It's very heavy" he said as he tried to get past him... In fact he had been there for like 3 minutes and he had only managed to move him half a meter.

"Do you need help? And what happened to your TV?"

"N-no, no thanks I can do it by myself! And about the TV ahhh... It's a long story and now I have to get it out of here" Hiro pushed with all his might to get that thing out of there but it wasn't strong enough as to move it so much, it did not help that the television was excessively large.

"The things I do so I don't look ridiculous" he gasped using all the strength a 9 year old boy like him could have.

Hiro came home at 12 midnight looking just as horrible as Kishibe.

Present:

It should be said that he was very scared and traumatized after that and never touched anything from Kishibe's arsenal again.

Kishibe then asked why he had thrown the TV away, the lie he came up with was that it burned up while he was watching a show. He almost died that day and he got too tired dragging that thing around, but at least he got a new TV.

There were many ways in which his training could begin and each one was as exciting as the last. Kishibe had told him that the training and research center had all the tools to train hunters even though it was no longer the main target of the place.

And the other thing on Hiro's mind was… It was much more complicated to think about and much harder to swallow.

Hiro unconsciously began to scribble in his notebook as he remembered that talk he had with Kishibe and Quanxi. It was there that MANY things were revealed to him, too much for his mind to process calmly and rationally.

If he was honest with himself, now more than ever he would have wanted to go back in time and consider the idea of going with Makima to that library.

He supposed that he was lucky, no one died or was injured but until now he had never thought that at that moment he was SO lucky to get out alive to tell about it. He now understood very well the antipathy that Kishibe had towards Makima, this whole subject was too disturbing and difficult to process.

It was like those kind of stories you tell in a camp around a campfire in the middle of a starless night, you don't know if they are real but they don't let you sleep all night.

In this case, Hiro did not need to doubt, after all, history has told him that in this world anything can be possible, after all there are hunters and devils who try to kill each other, and hearing it from the mouth of Kishibe and Quanxi alone they made their stories more true.

After all, they experienced them firsthand.

"Alright kids, class is about to start, everyone go to your seats" the class teacher announced as she entered the room and put her bag on the desk, she took out a black marker to write on the board.

The screeching of the marker could be heard clearly now that everyone was quiet and Hiro stopped scribbling, it was just random lines and circles, nothing interesting.

"Today we will see equivalent fractions and comparison of fractions"

A girl raised her hand as a question "Teacher, how will this help us when we grow up?"

She shrugged. "You'll probably never use it in your life, dear. But the country still pays me to teach them this so I'm fine."

Yes, the classes could be strange. But Hiro had trouble paying attention to the teacher, his thoughts always going back and forth about how he would train, along with the image of a redheaded girl.

0O0O

After the first three hours of class it was lunch time, Hiro took the bento from him along with the chopsticks in his fingers and began to eat absentmindedly.

Was that fish? He didn't remember putting that in, probably he had been so distracted that he didn't even know what he put in his lunch box.

"Hey Hiro can you pass me the sauce?"

Hiro looked at the sky as distractedly as his mind allowed him, what was Makima doing right now? Would she still be mad at him?

This was very frustrating for him, it seemed that every time something good happened to him, something bad happened at the same time. Did the world want to fill him with problems until he was right?

"Hiro..."

With a shudder he prayed that doctor Yuna was not there today, it would be very strange to see her again after that heated argument they had. Kishibe had given him some context about who she was in the past and how she related to them.

Although relating sounded like a very friendly word, he should find a word that matches his way of getting along, since he was told that Kishibe and Quanxi don't get along very well with Doctor Yuna. If the screams and insults that time were not enough to convince him, then now he had no doubt that the two hunters repudiated the doctor, at the same time Yuna returned their hatred multiplied by two.

"The sauce..."

Hiro would have wanted to hear the full story, but Kishibe refused, telling him it was a story for another day. Quanxi also didn't feel like talking anymore and just left the apartment knowing that her work was finished.

"Oh my God, Hiro there's a devil attacking us and it's eating the teachers!"

On Saturday night, Hiro had a lot to think about, mainly what Quanxi said about being Makima's long-term friend throughout the entire process of their training, it was almost as if he had been given an undercover mission so that the enemy did not realize that they were being sabotaged internally, in this case the enemy was Dr. Yuna... And in theory the entire government of Japan.

Would this be considered treason to your own country? He was too young to be banished, should he start coming up with a plan to survive abroad? What would be the cheapest country to live in and where child labor is legal?

"... Damn"

Hiro began to eat faster and faster and took a moment to appreciate the good and strange taste of his food, it was almost as if some professional chefs had prepared it for him, since when could he cook this well? He had no idea but he didn't care now.

How would he deal with Makima from now on? Her point of view of her had slipped several times recently and some were not pleasant and he preferred not to think about them now.

Speaking of which, he was right all this time about Makima...

'Hehe, I was right' he thought 'I WAS RIGHT, MAKIMA IS A DEV-'

*bonk*

Hiro was hit in the head with the second most powerful weapon in the school, a plastic bottle where water and other drinks were stored.

The first most powerful weapon was a soccer ball that goes straight at your face.

"Ouch ouch ouch!" he rubbed the sore part "Kenji and why is that!?" Hiro looked confused at the boy who always sat with him at lunch.

Kenji, Hiro's only friend at school, and his first ever, glared at him as he gingerly lowered his bottle but still pointed it at him to prevent him from doing anything suspicious.

Like a policeman watching a criminal to prevent him from escaping.

Kenji Inoue was very striking in more ways than one, he had black hair perfectly brushed back leaving the bottom of his hair a little flush, he wore the same uniform as a 10 year old elementary school student.

It should also be mentioned that he came from an extremely wealthy family. Along with a sense of humor that could match Hiro's at times.

"Why?" Kenji put his water bottle on the table but held on tight in case Hiro got lost in his thoughts again and needed to bring him back to reality "You've been acting so strange all day. You're doing strange things."

Hiro was still massaging his head "I think you're overreacting, I feel good"

Kenji raised an eyebrow in disagreement "Oh really? Then why are you eating my lunch and I'm eating yours?"

"What?" Hiro looked at his bento... Which wasn't really his bento, now that he remembered he never brought a bento to school.

He brought a sandwich this day.

He looked at Kenji and could see that in his other hand was that half eaten sandwich that he had prepared in the morning before going to school.

"What the..? How did this happen?" Hiro was truly confused by this event, how do you mistake a lunch?

Kenji shrugged his shoulders "Suddenly without any explanation you took my lunch box and left the room like it was nothing, I tried to take revenge by taking your sandwich. Although I probably won something much better" he took another bite of the delicious sandwich that his friend had prepared.

Hiro looked apologetic and embarrassed "Oh... I'm sorry Kenji, I guess I'm really distracted today" now that explained why the food tasted so much more delicious than usual.

Kenji had told him that he had chefs who would make his own food for school, for that reason the many pieces of food were very tasty.

"Don't tell me... You just need to tell the teacher mom"

Hiro laughed but still looked apologetic "Sorry if I ate your lunch, I'd give it to you but it doesn't seem like there's much left..."

Kenji waved his hand reassuringly "Meh, it doesn't matter anymore. Although this sandwich isn't bad at all, what is it made of?"

"Um with bread... Ham, cheddar cheese and mayonnaise..."

"And what else" he asked as he continued to eat the sandwich and looked at Hiro for more answers to his riddle

"And... That's it, it's probably the most normal sandwich you've ever seen in your life"

Kenji shrugged as he closed his eyes "Maybe, I don't normally eat this kind of thing, mom and dad always ask for much more extravagant things"

"Like this breaded fish?" Hiro tried it out wishing he could cook just as well as a chef.

"Something like that, you know I'm not a fan of trading lunches, so next time try not to steal mine... Or other people's."

"I will" Hiro smiled seeing that they both agreed to eat each other's lunch, something not very usual but today they would let it go.

"So..." Kenji drank some from his water bottle and leaned back with his arms on the table, looking at Hiro curiously.

"Hmm?" Hiro put the empty bento on the other side of the table and looked at his friend waiting for him to say something.

"Is there something you're hiding? You didn't come to class on Friday" Kenji narrowed his eyes.

Hiro blinked a few times "Um, not really, crazy things have been happening lately."

"Oh tell me! Your hunter friend killed another devil in cold blood again and now you're on a super secret quest to kill the devils lurking below the sewers and use their powers to take over the world?"

Hiro also had to remember that Kenji could be very conspiratorial.

(A/N: Kenji is like the average Chainsaw Man fan, very freaked out when he sets his mind to it)

"No"

"Public security is creating a super powerful weapon to eradicate devils and thus conquer the world!?"

"No... That's a little close though" Hiro muttered so he wouldn't hear.

"They discovered a dangerous conspiracy and now they are being hunted by other hunters who want to take over the world!?

Hiro sighed "No..."

"Did they find out that a group of very powerful devils will come to our world to conquer the world!?"

"I don't think so..." Hiro looked up a little doubtfully "At least as far as I know"

"No!?" Kenji was confused as he looked at Hiro in disappointment "Dude, you live with a devil hunter and things like that don't happen to you? Sounds like a waste of adventures"

Hiro rolled his eyes "Just because I live with a devil hunter doesn't mean I have to go with him everywhere"

"Imagine the possibilities, you are walking down the street and suddenly a devil attacks the city and they have to stop it in an ultra violent battle"

Hiro dropped a drop of sweat "Sounds a bit dangerous"

Kenji had a blank look "With all due respect, your life is kind of boring, don't you think?"

Hiro sighed dejectedly "Probably. Kishibe sometimes tells me about the things he does every day at his job, but I'm pretty sure he hides certain details from me."

"Like the way he slays devilss?"

"Maybe"

They both sat in their seats in silence for a while, just enjoying the calm.

It was normally not a taboo subject between schools to study and tell students about the existence of demons and hunters. It was almost a law that each educational center in the country had to implement its youngest students from the age of 7, only in the case that the parents had not done so before.

At first it is somewhat difficult for teachers to explain this to younger children who are just in elementary school, but they eventually get used to it until everyone grows up and lives their childhood with this acquired knowledge. Everyone can continue to investigate in their own way until finally a society can be created that can live on a par with demons and hunters, just like today's society.

So it wasn't strange to hear this kind of conversation at recess, it was almost the most talked about topic among the youngest.

The world got to a point where devils and hunters were normal everyday things. As normal as taking public transport to go to work every day.

Only here you could meet a devil that came out of nowhere while killing innocent people.

"But what happened then?" Kenji asked again calmly now as he drank his water again.

"Well..." Hiro wiggled his fingers nervously "Today I will start my training as a devil hunter"

Kenji spat out the water he was drinking, Hiro narrowly dodging it "Really!? THAT'S AMAZING!"

Hiro smiled "I know! I've been thinking about it since Saturday"

"OH MY GOD I'M A DEVIL HUNTER'S FRIEND, HIRO YOU'RE A DEVIL HUN-"

*bonk*

"Ouch!" Hiro silenced Kenji with his own water bottle before the other kids at recess heard him.

"Don't yell it!" Hiro whispered, his eyes filled with unease, some of the kids and classmates were giving them strange looks.

"I don't want everyone here to know, it's very difficult for me to talk in the middle of class, I don't want everyone's attention here, it would be very embarrassing"

"Ouch... I understand, I won't tell anyone, but it wasn't necessary to hit me" Kenji complained, water bottles were an underrated weapon.

Hiro felt relieved and leaned back in his seat "Thank you"

"But it's amazing you know" Kenji mentioned as he stopped massaging his head "You've been telling me for a long time that you wanted to be a hunter, and now you can finally be one!"

"Technically I'm not a hunter yet, they told me I have to study and train for 10 years if I want to be one. That's why we'll start today."

"Well, worse is nothing" Kenji also relaxed in his seat enjoying the last minutes of the break.

"I guess"

"So that's what you'll be working on in the future?"

Hiro nodded "Yes, there is nothing that interests me more" for Hiro being a hunter had always been the most important priority.

Also, it seemed like this was the only way he could get close to Makima. And once again Hiro was lost in his thoughts.

Kenji smiled "Of course not. I like many kinds of things, but I think I'll inherit the family business in the end. Ugh, why do I have a feeling it's going to be so boring?"

Hiro was a bit lost with that comment, so he tried to give a good answer "I see, I hope you make it"

Kenji laughed, it was for this reason that he liked Hiro, he found it very funny "Of course I'll make it idiot, I'm an only child!"

Hiro patted his face feeling silly "Right, I forgot about that" he tried to maintain his composure but also succumbed to laughter.

Hiro and Kenji laughed for a moment at that misunderstanding. The fact that Hiro seemed very distracted today made him look very funny.

"Are you sure there's nothing else inside your mind? It seems you're still thinking about something"

There were things that Hiro was allowed to discuss with Kenji, things that public safety normally didn't hide and even made the news, and things that Kishibe had told him in occasional chats over breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

And there were other things that for obvious reasons were better kept hidden, Makima was one of them, Hiro had recently learned about it.

"No... I have nothing more to hide" he said completely lying to him.

Kenji shrugged and sighed, letting go of the topic "If you say so..."

0O0O

"We'll finally get this done" Hiro mentioned as he and Kishibe stood in the elevator, going up to the top of the building.

After classes ended, Hiro wasted no time and went with Kishibe to the training center. He went through the same routine as before, including that scary walk down that corridor with red lights, only this time it was easier to focus on something else and not on demons that wanted to eat him alive. In the end they passed the training camp where Hiro had his interview, it could be said that it was his first time walking through these halls not as a visitor, but as a hunter-in-training.

"That's right, you don't seem so scared" Kishibe gave him a questioning look.

Hiro raised an eyebrow as he stared back at him "Should I? After all you are the ones who will train me"

"Good point..." Kishibe had to remember that things were different now, Hiro was lucky to have them and not a witch who overexploits everyone he trains and studies. It didn't mean the training was easier, but it did make it much easier, at least that's how everyone hoped it would be.

How he wished he had the benefits that Hiro has now. The next generations were destined to have better things, that was a fact.

That also included better destruction than the previous generation suffered.

(A/N: Let's face it people, we're doomed)

"No sign of her..." one of Hiro's thoughts came out loud for Kishibe to hear.

"Don't make it sound like she's gone forever" Kishibe rolled his eyes at his drama "She must be somewhere in the building, don't think about her now anyway, think about what we're going to do."

Anyway, that girl always appeared next to him, even if she didn't try, eventually Makima would find Hiro one way or another.

So there was nothing to worry about if in the end Hiro is like a magnet attracting devils.

"Eventually that brat will find you, even if you hide, who knows? She might even be on the roof of the elevator right now."

Hiro sighed "I know, it's just that I feel very nervous, after what they told me I'm still not sure how to approach her, I haven't even prepared an apology"

Kishibe could feel sorry for the boy, the burden placed on his shoulders was too much and even though he agreed in the end, he was still a 10 year old boy who had an unfortunate encounter with a devil.

"Better not think about it now, knowing you, you'll probably come up with something on the fly. You'll be fine kid, it's not the first time you've come here and it won't be the last, you'd better get used to it"

"And to all this, how will we start?" Hiro looked at Kishibe for answers as to what his training would be like "Will you teach me how to use a weapon? Will you train me to hand-to-hand combat? Does that mean you'll beat me half dead?" maybe it was the alcohol but Kishibe could swear he saw stars in the boy's eyes.

It was very strange to see that as he told him that he would literally train him to a knockout.

"Wow wow, calm down kid, it's only your first day, it's not like you're in the army"

Hiro smiled "I know, I'm just very curious how this will start, at least tell me, will it be difficult?"

A small, barely visible smile formed on the hunter's lips, and it wasn't friendly at all. "That depends."

"About what?"

"How much do you like to read"

0O0O

Hiro stared in horror at the large stack of books in front of him, the longer he stared at them it seemed like they only got bigger and bigger, because Kishibe kept bringing books from God knows where.

"I think these will suffice" the hunter put the last book in his place and looked at Hiro amused by his expression "This is how your training will start, reading"

Kishibe looked at Hiro waiting for a reaction, the boy looking like a kicked puppy. Or as the person who suffered the biggest disappointment in his life.

"What, not what you expected?"

"... No"

"I thought you might like it, you have some books in your room"

"I like to read... But not too much, and what kind of things should I learn from all this? You've already told me the basics."

"Exactly, you only know the basics, the little I've told you has gotten out of here..." Kishibe pointed to the entire stack of books "It's always necessary to learn more about the demon world, you can't go to war without knowing the enemy, or without knowing who they are and why they attack us"

Hiro frowned at him and crossed his arms "Devils try to kill us, and we must kill them instead for peace to exist. I learned all that a long time ago."

Kishibe shrugged "Yes, you obviously know that, but it never hurts to have more general knowledge about our world, and who knows, you might find something very interesting"

The boy raised an eyebrow as he looked at the responsible adult without believing in his words "Are you serious? Or are you just repeating the same words they tricked you with when you were my age?"

"..."

"..."

"Well I'll be honest most of the things that appear here are very boring" Kishibe admitted leaving aside the facade of the wise teacher.

"I knew it!"

"But seriously, you need to learn more about the world around you. That means learning as much as possible about devils and hunters, like I said, it never hurts to have some extra knowledge in your mind, it can help you at work"

Kishibe scratched his head "Also, we all start like this, it's not what we expect but at the end of the day it's necessary, reading is always the first phase of hunter training"

Hiro kept looking at him angrily still not liking the idea "Couldn't we just leave this for last? Why not start with something more exciting? You could have taught me how to fight"

Kishibe laughed at how naive he was "I can't believe you don't really see it"

"See what?"

"Hiro, you're barely 10 years old, you're not in the condition to start weapons training or hand-to-hand combat. Your body wouldn't handle that part. Trust me I know, I went through the same thing when I was 12, it wasn't Nice, so we'll start that part when you're 14, that way I'll feel less guilty when I hit you."

"You can't be serious..." Hiro mentioned more incredulous the fact that the fights would start in 4 years than the fact that Kishibe was going to train him until he tried to kill him.

"Do I look like I'm kidding?" Kishibe raised an eyebrow daring him to answer.

"Yes, you just lied to me a few seconds ago" Hiro replied knowing it was a rhetorical question.

Kishibe sighed "That doesn't matter, but what I said above is true, I still can't train you the way you imagine. But don't despair boy, Quanxi and I have other study plans prepared for you apart from reading, so these 4 years will not be boring at all"

Hiro didn't know what else he could say about all of this, he really felt disappointed with how he started training him, he didn't expect it to be this way. He felt even more disappointed because they had been telling him that all of this would be difficult and that he probably wouldn't last the first day and who knows what else. And starting this way was a great disappointment.

What a way to ruin all the excitement, he felt worse than that time when he heard someone say at school that Darth Vader was the father of Luke Skywalker.

That day Hiro learned about spoilers and how horrible they were.

Hiro sighed and looked at the books in frustration, he almost felt like he could burn them with his eyes "Are they in our language at least? Last time Makima gave me a book that was in English and I couldn't understand it"

The library they were in was the same one where Hiro and Makima had spent quality time a few days ago, the elegant furniture and tables still in the same places, along with what seemed to be the previous books he and she had read. they had read on Friday, apparently they had not yet returned them to their place.

Makima hadn't been back to the library since then?

Kishibe pointed to a part behind him "You can find a Japanese section in the corner over there, but I recommend you start learning English anyway, you might miss something interesting in all this"

Hiro had a blank look "You don't even believe that"

"You're right, I don't believe it. Anyway, I'll leave you, see you later" Kishibe casually got up from his seat, adjusting it, pulling it from him in the process.

Hiro looked at him confused as he headed for the exit "Wait you're leaving!?"

Kishibe paused for a moment "Yes"

"Why!?" Hiro thought that Kishibe was going to be with him all day.

"I have to work" said the hunter.

"You could have told me that before!"

Kishibe took advantage of this to make fun of him "But you already know what I work for"

"N-no! Ugh" Hiro got out of his chair and looked at Kishibe in complete confusion and disbelief "Are you thinking of leaving me here alone!?"

"Yes" Kishibe admitted without remorse.

"WHY!?"

He shrugged but smiled at the same time "It's not like you need me for this, besides don't worry, I'm watching you even if you don't believe it. Now if you allow me I have to go kill some demons, and by the way, I may sleep with the most beautiful woman I find in a bar."

Hiro wrinkled his nose in disgust "I didn't need to know that..."

"Take care kid, see you in a few hours" with that said Kishibe left the library leaving Hiro completely alone and very grumpy.

"Son of... Your mom"

Resigned that there was no other way out, that there was nothing better to do, and that Kishibe was probably the worst teacher in the world, Hiro sat back down and picked up one of the many books that were there.

This was going to take a while.

0O0O

It had probably been an hour or more, he wasn't so sure because he doesn't remember where the clock on the wall was to check, was there even a clock in this place in the first place?

Hiro was currently reading a book on demon philosophy, or something like that, he couldn't really understand it at all because there were words he just didn't understand. It was too much complex information for his brain that he was already beginning to ache.

Worst of all, this was only the second book he'd discarded, he tried to see if the third would be a little more entertaining but it was more of the same.

Analyzing the jurisdictional processes of hell, was Dante right?

He hadn't opened the book but from the title he already knew he was going to be bored, so he discarded it instead.

Hiro rested his cheek in his hand and sighed wearily; It really seemed like Kishibe had given him random things, he just took the most extravagant from the shelves and put them on the table for him to read.

Or he was probably still too young to understand all this.

"So... Boring" Hiro said so wanting to get this over with, he even started to feel drowsy.

But soon after he remembered something, something that might help him escape this boredom. If things were still the same here as they had been on Friday morning, that meant the books he and Makima had been reading were still there, and at the same time the book Makima had shown him.

Hiro got out of his chair and went to the other end of the table to check if Makima's book was still there, after moving a few he finally found that book with the simplest title he had ever seen.

"Let's see, what's around here" maybe seeing drawn devils was more entertaining than just reading several lines of paragraphs filled with words he still didn't understand.

As he remembers, Makima had told him that this book had a record of the most powerful devilss that have ever existed, so it was basically an encyclopedia made to learn about devils, it sounded interesting. He thought it was good to know what he was up against, but he was more curious about the person who went to the trouble of writing all of this.

It was probably some researcher who had a detailed enough approach to demons to know about them, if so he was a very brave person.

Opening the book and checking the first page, he found a very peculiar text, it wasn't information from a devil or anything like that, rather it was some kind of message or note left by the author.

~I do not know the day or the hour that my soul will leave this world, but it is more than certain that the sun rising from the mountains, that my death will be soon; I have seen how several of my loved ones have left this world without leaving a trace of their names or surnames and thanks to that no one will remember them and they will only live in the memory of this old man, therefore I want to leave a part of me in the history of humanity in some way that manages to help the world, and I have decided to leave my notes and observations on the devils that have haunted humanity for a long time.

My friend and hunter, Hiroshi, has done the same too, he has collected the information from the devils he has faced by my side and has left his own observations in his diary, however he has decided not to share his version and keep the information to himself. He himself said that he would leave it to his future offspring so that they would have knowledge of the things that happened in the past and thus be able to face the future.

After several years of discoveries and observations, and with the protection that my friend Hiroshi offered me to do this, I have managed to collect information about devils over the years, my only wish is that this can help future generations of hunters, we live in a cruel world, we must help to improve it.~

"Oh so this was where the author's name was" Hiro had no comment on the note, though deep down he was very curious as to where the other author's journal might have ended up.

Making his way to the next page Hiro was met with the first information and the first image.

The first drawing showed a series of trees scattered in what seemed to be a forest with dark and gray tones, the drawing was old so it did not have many details like today's paintings, however you could still see what it wanted to represent . In addition to the forest and tree lines, there were various red spots painted on the bark of the trees as if they were touch-ups.

All of this gave this drawing an air full of uncertainty, disturbance and anxiety, showing that this forest was not friendly at all, although Hiro thought that it could easily represent something else that he did not see.

His question was answered with the paragraph below the drawing.

The Nature Devil

~This kind of devil usually hides in various parts of the world and not only in our land of the Rising Sun. It's like he can be in several parts at the same time, he's terrifying and too deadly, he can use all the elements of nature at his disposal to kill, it's very hard to know where his weak point is but it's not impossible. Fortunately this demon does not usually attack regularly, in fact it only attacks those who destroy its environment, unfortunately when it attacks it shows a very aggressive temperament and impossible to calm down, the only option left in the end is to kill it.

Its weakness is fire, so it is advisable to bring all kinds of incendiary weapons that help destroy the nature devil.~

'Fascinating' Hiro thought as he appreciated the drawing again 'Demons can really be born from anything, but is there really anyone in the world who is afraid of nature? But it's supposed to be a nice place... Oh great, now I just unlocked another fear'

Despite thinking so, and the fact that he probably wouldn't go on another school field trip again, Hiro now continued reading to another page.

The next page showed a drawing with much more colors. It was simply the drawing of a flame perfectly drawn and with the most exact colors possible. Hiro was curious as to what kind of devil this was but he was already getting an idea.

The Flame Devil

~Or the fire devil, whatever you want to call it, in the end Hiroshi died without being able to decide on a name and probably me too.

He is a powerful devil and his risk level is measured by how destructive he is, which is too high and overkill in my honest opinion. His flames can burn humans to ashes and leave no trace of them. I would dare to say that he is a primordial devil, I am very sure of that, not for nothing did he manage to destroy an entire city.

But like all creatures, it has a weak point. Its nucleus is usually seen when it attacks and uses its flames but in order to kill it you have to use long-range weapons such as rifles or special arrows, or for a change anything that can be thrown, because trying to reach its nucleus on foot It is suicide and you will not achieve it before being burned and turned into dust, even if the heat emanating from its core attacks you, it can be lethal.

Basically the best thing to do is dodge its flames as best you can and attack its core with the best ranged weapon at your disposal.

I'm not sure if sightings of this devil have been discovered currently, if so don't tell him where I live, I'd rather die of old age in a coffin than be cremated alive.

I am very grateful to Hiroshi for helping me get information about this devil, if it wasn't for him I would have turned to ashes long ago if he hadn't saved me on more than one occasion. By the way, he was the one who killed the flame devil the first time~

'That sounds very dangerous, the fear of fire must be something very old, considering that there have been many tragedies due to fires, it must be more than obvious that this demon existed in times where fire was a very important resource. That explains why Kishibe was very reluctant to let me burn fireworks on the rooftop on New Years'

No doubt this was much more entertaining than all the books that Kishibe had left him. Learning about the history of the past in general was very interesting for Hiro, when he was taught history at school he always paid close attention to the most important events in the world, for him they were very interesting.

And now he was learning the history of demons from an ancient researcher who lived through events that brought him face to face with these demons.

Hiro continued with the next page, there was always a drawing, the problem was that this time it was very... Different from the previous ones due to the simple fact of not having many details.

It was a simple black stain.

The Darkness Devil.

Hiro couldn't read beyond the name when he heard a small squeal coming from the other side of the table, he raised his head distracted from reading and he could clearly see that in front of him, in the place where he used to sit, was a small mouse.

This was... Weird in more ways than one, since the mouse just stood there and stared at him, he didn't move, he just stood there on all fours without his eyes leaving him, Hiro looked at him too, his gaze showed no emotion, but he was trying to find out why there was a mouse in the library, the longer they looked without saying anything, the more it seemed as if they were both in a staring contest.

'A mouse?' Hiro thought feeling somewhat puzzled. There shouldn't be any mice in this place in the first place, because there wasn't even anything to eat, unless they were so hungry they'd eat the pages of books, but it was very likely that they would die if they did that because he was pretty sure. that those pages were cursed.

Second, the mouse followed him with its eyes.

Hiro moved his head a little to take notice and it certainly was kind of amazing and funny at the same time, and a bit disturbing.

"Ah... Hello" Hiro tried to say something, but then realized he fell too low when he started talking to the animals as if they might talk back to him.

The mouse didn't say anything, of course he wouldn't say anything, mouse couldn't talk, cook maybe, but not talk.

They stared at each other for a moment longer, neither of them moved and Hiro didn't blink, this was getting a little hypnotic for some reason. In those seconds for some reason Hiro thought about Makima again, where would she be right now?

'Makima, it would be fun if you could see this'

"Do you have fun?"

"WHA!" Hiro almost fell out of his chair at the sudden voice that came along with him, he was taken by surprise and thanks to that his heart nearly jumped out of his throat.

He turned to face the source of the voice and immediately began to feel sick. Of all the workers in this building, definitely the one he least expected to run into was the director.

Said person only looked at him impassively with her arms crossed, dressed as her job required, a gray office jacket with a white dress shirt inside, a gray dress skirt along with black stockings and a pair of black medium heels

Her brown hair was pulled back into a ponytail, she was wearing reading glasses that couldn't hide her dark eyes which were looking at him coldly.

"Ah..." Hiro looked at doctor Yuna in bewilderment, he never heard her approach, perhaps it was because he was looking at a mouse for so long that he got distracted from what was happening around him, talking about the rodent Hiro looked across the table for a moment and was only further confused.

The mouse was gone.

In that moment of distraction the book was yanked from his hands, Hiro only had a second to realize what was happening.

"Where did you get this from?" Yuna questioned with authority in her tone and showing the book to his face.

Hiro blinked and flinched at the look of her "E-eh y-I... Makima, she was the one who showed it to me"

Yuna's gaze softened a bit, but inside she was still feeling very irritated.

"Oh, you mean that day where you and her ran away without anyone's consent and shared a special moment?" she said sarcastically "Where you shamelessly advanced and hugged her without thinking about the consequences of what that would cause"

Hiro didn't stand out in height but the more Doctor Yuna reproached him, the more he shrank and felt insignificant. Maybe it was because she was getting closer and more threatening with each word she said.

"Well... I'd say that's very specific, but yeah"

The doctor's hand slammed into the table, Hiro shuddered in fear and looked at Yuna not knowing what else to expect from her.

Yuna frowned as she glared at him "Let's stop pretending for once that I'm not aware of your little relationship with her, you more than likely knew we would have this conversation"

"S-something like that" Hiro thought that maybe he should start using one of Kishibe's book of life pages, maybe it could work with Yuna "B-but I've been told that it's scientifically proven that everything that comes out of you mouth is anything but interesting"

Yuna growled and her eyes showed an internal anger.

'BAD IDEA BAD IDEA BAD IDEA BAD IDEA. NOTE TO MYSELF NEVER COPY KISHIBE'S INSULTS AND BETTER CREATE MY OWN!'

"I-it was a joke I swear, Kishibe told me to tell you because he told me you'd be amused, I really don't think anything bad of you!" she explained trying to make sure his first day of training wasn't his last either.

"Tch, what does it matter, I didn't come here to talk about him anyway" Yuna pulled herself together as she kept a healthy distance between herself and the boy to the latter's delight.

Although it was satisfying for her to see that look of terror on him, she still had what it takes to instill fear in people, especially children.

She decided to sit on the other side of the table, still guarding the book in her hands and looking at Hiro with a frown.

"I didn't have the chance to talk about this with you on Saturday, now that we're alone and with a very important issue at hand, I think this is a good time to talk about what I think about your relationship with her" he explained calmly.

Hiro swallowed hard, until now he hadn't thought of a plan to answer Doctor Yuna's questions, he thought it would only be necessary to answer Kishibe and Quanxi, but to be fair he also found out a little late that the director was the one looking after from Makima. It always seemed that when he fixed one problem, he created two more to deal with.

"Okay..." Hiro accepted knowing that there was no escape from this either.

"I'll go straight to the point, kid" Yuna's gaze was expressionless "I don't like you"

Hiro sighed knowing that she would say that "I know..."

"And I don't like that you hang out with Makima, whom I kept secret in this building. I'm going to be impartial this time" her left eye trembled a little "When you first came here you didn't know that someone like her existed in first of all, maybe it was the last thing you expected to run into, at the time it was Makima's fault for not following my orders to hide, instead she decided to shamelessly approach you."

Hiro kept silent feeling that there was a big BUT in all of this.

"But..." there it was "The one who made the stupidest move in this story was you, walking off with her to this library!"

Hiro felt guilty, well he always felt that way when someone scolded him for his bad deeds, which usually didn't happen because he always tried to be as nice as possible and not get in trouble with someone else. But here it seemed as if he had crossed the line a bit.

"I'm really sorry, I... I tried to do everything possible to get out of that situation"

Yuna remained expressionless, she quietly left the book to one side of the table, she joined her hands between her mouth, covering it and letting only her eyes look at the child, analyzing every emotion or expression on her face.

They were silent for a few seconds, a deathly silence where neither looked away.

A moment later Yuna pointed an accusatory finger at Hiro "Liar"

"Hey?" Hiro was surprised by this unexpected accusation.

"You say that you tried everything to get out of that situation, but it's a lie, the truth is that you simply let yourself be carried away by her, she captivated you enough to blindly advance to her side. If you really wanted to get rid of her instantly you would have knocked on the office door to alert us of his presence"

Hiro was silent with his eyes wide in surprise. That was... It really was very true, the idea had crossed his mind before he took Makima's hand and ran away but in the end he didn't, because it was just as doctor Yuna said, he got carried away for the moment and just he realized it when they were in the elevator.

Hiro would also admit to something else in silence, at that moment Makima had captivated him in a way he couldn't explain; she denoted an air of mystery that surprised Hiro, everything about her seemed to be a clue to reveal a great mystery that she had in her hands.

In the end he was right, but the whole course was full of mixed emotions, but he had to admit that it was exciting at times. And Makima was finally willing to be honest with him, to tell him about her feelings and how lonely she felt. And Hiro would find someone to help.

There were many names for what he did at that moment: feeling sorry for someone, wanting to help someone because it's the right thing to do, trying to defuse the situation so it doesn't get out of control, etc.

But at the end of the day they all agree with the idea of simply wanting to be nice to others, because that's what they like to do, there's no better reason and there shouldn't be. Whenever a person is seen in need, it is recurring to help them in what they need.

In this case Makima simply wanted a friend.

It was probably the easiest thing in the world for him to do, and he did it.

It was all those thoughts, revelations and conclusions that helped him find the answer to why he never knocked on the office door. Maybe if he had done it many things would have changed, but Hiro couldn't imagine because he wasn't a fortune teller.

"I guess that's true" Hiro said not looking at the doctor but looking at the table "You're right I could have always alerted you and Kishibe... But I didn't... And I don't regret not doing it"

"Hmp" Yuna snorted "I had a feeling you would say something like that. But explain better, why did you decide to follow Makima and befriend her? Did you even take into account how dangerous she was?"

Hiro blinked for a second realizing a detail "I guess we can also stop pretending that I don't know she's a devil?"

She smirked "Sure, you would have to be the dumbest kid in the world not to realize that something is wrong with that girl. But I assume you were the one who noticed it first."

Hiro nodded "Something like that, I mean, her eye color is something I've never seen before and I'm pretty sure it's not very common in people. Also that it can appear out of nowhere without me noticing... "

"That's already a matter of perception, you're still not trained to detect people who sneak up on you" Yuna interrupted him.

"I guess not, but I was still surprised that she could do it, she seems to be about my age and I'm pretty sure no boy or girl my age could do something like that. Plus she seemed to be a bit…"

"Strange?" Yuna finished for him by raising an eyebrow.

Hiro thought about it for a few seconds "I would call it mysterious, but I think that also applies here. I also remembered that I was in a place where devils keep, and at no time did I hear the elevator door open, with all that in mind I was 60 percent sure that she was a devil... Or that she had superpowers... Or that I was already going crazy from living with Kishibe"

Yuna had to admit that the boy had a bit more brains than the average 10 year old, and he was smarter than Kishibe had been in him youth.

She sighed touching her hundred "I must say that your deduction skills are very decent for someone your age, I think it is also a pity that you want to be a hunter, you would be a good investigator"

Hiro didn't know how to respond to that, the idea of being a researcher had never crossed his mind. It sounded interesting.

"And then?" Yuna questioned "What was it that led you to become friends with her, and especially what was it that led you to approach her and hug her?" that was probably the answer she expected the most. She was interested in knowing the story from both points of view.

"She..." Hiro wondered if he really should say this, everything Makima told him back then sounded personal and he wasn't sure if he had told anyone else.

He decided that the best thing would be to ask a question himself, maybe that way he would figure out if it was a good idea to tell him the truth, mainly because he would rather not deal with it.

"Is there...something wrong with me being her friend?"

The doctor frowned. "Are you kidding or are you serious?"

"..."

"..."

"I just want to know..."

Now it was Yuna who had to wonder if she should reveal more information than what she had already revealed up to now. I would try to be as discreet as possible.

"To answer your question, yes, it's bad that you're her friend" she explained "I've taught Makima for a long time that social relationships are useless for hunters, and she understood that... Until you came along" she sneered at the last part.

Hiro's eyes widened, both surprised and confused "What? You've been doing what?"

"As You hear"

"B-but" Hiro looked at the ground in disbelief, not believing that someone could do that "Why would you make her think like that? For a devil hunter, having friends isn't a detriment, right?"

Yuna was silent looking at the boy, but suddenly she started laughing "Ahahahahahaha" her laughter could be heard throughout the library, which broke the rule of silence.

Now Hiro didn't understand what was happening, why did this lady take what he said as a joke? He even started to feel annoyed.

Yuna's laughter calmed down and she wiped away a tear that escaped in her attack "Of course not kid, for a devil hunter it's not bad to have friends"

That made Hiro even more confused "Huh? Wait, I don't get it. Now your saying that it's okay to have friends? So... what's up with Makima?" something suddenly clicked on him, something he hadn't realized until now "Wait a second, does that mean that Makima is also going to become a devil hunter?"

This day was getting weirder and weirder.

"I'll explain it to you" Yuna adjusted her glasses and clasped her hands "For devil hunters it's not bad to associate with others, they are allowed to do whatever they please with other people..."

"But for someone like Makima... That's not necessary, and we don't want to allow it"

Hiro just narrowed his eyes thinking about the situation "Is it because she's a devil?"

Yuna nodded "Yes, but it goes way beyond that, it's not the only reason why I don't like her hanging out with you. I won't tell you, I guess if you manage to get out of here alive you'll find out... Or I guess now you know"

"..."

"Those two hunters who watch over you all the time... They don't know how to keep a secret" Yuna growled knowing that Kishibe and Quanxi would care little about confidentiality.

"So all hunters are allowed to associate with someone, but isn't Makima?" Hiro questioned. "All because of who she really is?"

The doctor just nodded.

Hiro frowned "It seems very unfair to me"

"Heh" Yuna couldn't help but feel sorry for the boy, he was still too young to see the whole panorama and the events that could be created in the long term if something bad happened.

"Keep thinking like this child, if at the end of all this a disaster happens then you will have understood why I do what I do with her"

"But being friends with someone isn't that bad" Hiro tried to change her mind "It's just a small friendship with someone else"

"Little or big, no matter what it is, it could be harmful... And that's why I'm here."

Yuna thought her words very well so that the boy could understand them perfectly, she looked at Hiro in the most serious way possible, feeling enormous animosity towards him.

"Since the first day you came here you put me in a difficult situation, you made Makima start to question her own emotions and existence, you don't know it but you almost destroyed all the work of 3 years that I deposited in her, and all for what? Because you wanted to be her friend!? If you knew she was a devil then why didn't you use your brains a bit more? Makima's emotions can become a ticking time bomb if not controlled and kept at bay, but in the the moment you hugged her you only lit the fuse of that bomb"

"So I got to thinking, she's been talking so much about you like you're the best person in the world, like you're one of a kind, she's told me she wants to spend more time with you, so if I tell her not to hang out with you, if I forbid him to be your friend, if I tell her a lie that you magically ceased to exist, the chaos that will be generated because of that will be horrible, you don't know it because you haven't experienced what others have lived to tell you that it is true and that it can happen"

"I'm between a rock and a hard place, if I tell Makima not to hang out with you I'll be responsible for sending this whole project to hell, but also if I allow you to continue being his friend you're going to hurt the whole project in the same way, It's a lose lose for me, so I'll have to take measures to avoid disaster, I don't know if Kishibe has also thought about this but if he cares so much about you then I'm sure he will keep the girl at bay from you too, long enough as to avoid destroying everything in the process"

Yuna took a breath to try and calm down.

Hiro, on the other hand, was silent astonished by everything the doctor was telling him, he couldn't formulate answers to everything she told him because it was a lot to think about. He felt that no matter how much hatred the doctor felt towards him, he couldn't help but feel guilty for being responsible for his problems, it was definitely not his intention to ruin things but it seemed that it was somehow inevitable. He thought of apologizing but the words just didn't come out.

Yuna never really believed that she would say this one day, but it was unbelievable how she had lowered herself to this, where did it all go to hell? How did it end up like this?

"I can't help that you and her are together" she said, incredulous of her reality "As much as I don't like the thought, I feel that the only way left to not ruin things anymore is for you and her to continue as they are now, but ... I'll do what I can so that her training doesn't get affected" she looked at the boy in front of her who didn't deign to say a word "You're not going to ruin this, no matter how much moral sense you have in you I'll keep Makima in the same path she has followed in the last 3 years, I will keep a balance between you and her goals. You know, it would have been easier for me to order you assassinated a long time ago, and everything would have ended in a bad memory"

Hiro opened his eyes horrified and scared by what Yuna said, he couldn't believe that the idea of killing him had crossed her mind at some point, she really could be as sick in the head as Kishibe had told him. He didn't know if he was still safe here with her alone, what she might do to him...

"But unfortunately Kishibe would kill me before giving the order" she growled, knowing very well that the hunter would not hesitate to put a knife in her head, she knows that he has wanted that for years "And if it wasn't him, Quanxi would surely have fun doing it "

Hiro took a shaky breath, all this conversation was making him nauseous, his hands and feet were shaking from everything Yuna was hinting at, he didn't want anyone to die because of him, and he especially didn't want to die.

He would die because he was simply in the wrong place at the good time.

She seemed to want to say more but she looked at her watch out of sheer instinct, and she realized that she had been here too long.

"Tch, dammit" she cursed "I'm running late" she looked back at Hiro still annoyed "I have to leave for a meeting in about 10 minutes, but this conversation isn't over, you still have one question to answer" with that said, and leaving an anticlimactic moment behind, Yuna left the office with a movement of her hips, in the end the work was more important to her.

And Hiro just stood there, watching as a person who had thought about the possibility of killing him left. He couldn't help but feel nauseated at that, maybe it was the first time he received some kind of death threat, he couldn't remember any previous one if it existed.

This was definitely not the way he would have liked to start his first day of training. First, Kishibe giving him some kind of reading research that even he didn't like, second, finding mice following him with their eyes, and third, being told by the principal that she didn't like him at all and made him reconsider a lot of things, In addition to confessing that if it weren't for the fact that he has Kishibe and Quanxi on his side, he would have disappeared a while ago.

'It's only the first day... I'm sure there could be better days' he thought as he tried to console himself.

He was still looking at the exit, thinking that in the end he didn't have to answer to the doctor why he became friends with Makima, honestly it would have been difficult to give her a detailed answer, and a concise answer wouldn't have been enough for her.

He heard how from the other side of the table the characteristic squeak of the chair was present reaching his ears, someone was sitting down.

This time he didn't need to turn around to guess who could be, he was used to this kind of thing happening the moment he looked away, even for a second.

To tell the truth, she was already taking a while to appear, maybe she was hiding all this time.

Hiro sighed and turned heavily to face the girl in front of him. As he guessed, Makima's trademark red hair and yellow eyes were in front of him, sitting on the other side of the table with a look that didn't express anything at all, but she seemed to want to say a lot at the same time.

Something that surprised him a lot was that the mouse that had previously been staring at him was now perched on Makima's right shoulder. If he remembered what Kishibe told him, it made perfect sense that she could control animals.

Why didn't he remember it earlier?

"Hello, Makima" he was the first to greet, a little confidence was born in him, but at the same time that confidence was born from the desire to end this once and for all.

It was as if Makima snapped back to reality with that greeting, as she flinched a bit not expecting him to say something first "H-hello, Hiro"

Maybe this wasn't the time to think about why they always greet each other using their names lately, Hiro thought it was getting weird but he quickly dismissed the thought.

"It's good to see you" he said sincerely, smiling a little.

"Also... Nice to see you" she returned the greeting but with difficulty in her voice.

"Do you want to talk? If you're here I assume you want to end our earlier talk, go ahead" he didn't know where this confidence came from, but he would gladly accept it.

"..." Makima thought for a while about how she should start, she wanted to tell him the truth but she didn't know where to start.

"Hiro I... I have to tell you something"

"Yeah?"

She took a shaky breath afraid that things could end badly, but there was no turning back, she would have to risk it.

"Ah but just in case..." Hiro spoke just as she was going to speak "I know you're the Control Devil, now what were you going to say?"

What a day.

Notes:

...

Nah I don't have much to say today.

This is the first time that I premiered a chapter here on the same day as on Wattpad.

It's funny you know?

I mean I never found a good place to cut this chapter, I wanted it to be at least 8k words but in the end I ended up making it 11k ha.

And with that in mind you should know that with this chapter we have reached 106k words written, that's right, you idiot, you have read a story of 100k words, congratulations.

And congratulations to me because it is the first time I have come to this brand.

What have I been up to lately? Nothing, but I've been saving to buy the Digital deluxe version of Resident evil 4 remake for ps4, yes yes I already know that it has texture problems and that using the rifle scope is a riot but hey... At least the xboxers don't enjoy on xbox one xddddd.

Nah but I don't really mind the above, I'm going to buy it anyway.

Before I go I must tell you that the second anniversary of this story is approaching and I don't promise that there will be a chapter for that day but it would be nice if it were, it would be like May 1st otherwise I'm wrong, I only remember that I premiered this story in the week of my birthday, so around these dates you always have to celebrate.

See you.
