Nine screens flashed into the dark corners of the lonesome room as several beings appears on them. Warriors donning strange armor, each one specific for their own purposes. Some looked like medieval knights or ancient warriors, others bore armor too technologically advanced for the modern era, and few looked too demonic to be even be considered heroes. Different they seemed, but they all stood strong and fought against horrifying, murderous monsters that plagued humanity.

"Kamen Riders…"

For the lone watcher in the room, the name left a strange feeling on his tongue as he watched the screens. He analyzed every move he possibly could find on these warriors, these Kamen Riders, as they were called. There people who knew them, however few there were, and to them, they were considered heroes.

To him, they were a threat to his plans. A serious threat.

These Riders existed for almost ten years, and in that time, he had been gathering as much information as he could find on them. From large details to the smallest, he needed to know how they worked, how they fought, and most importantly, how they could be defeated. When that last goal was accomplished, nothing would get in his way.

As he watched and mentally noted any oddities, the door creaked open, and another voice spoke, "Great Leader…"

The watcher turned to the opened door. In its frame stood an older man in a dark, spiky outfit, partially hidden in the shadows of the room.

"...it's time," he said.

Without another word, the watcher turned around and exited the room. The other closed the door behind him, leaving only the bright screens in the room.

AN: Hello one and all. Thank you for reading this idea. This is a story I recently came up, and I hope I can finish at least this.

This story is based on Kenichi Muraeda's Kamen Rider SPIRITS manga, which brought together the first ten Showa-Era Riders (Ichijo to ZX) and retold the story of ZX. It is a fascinating read, and I highly suggest it, whether you'd be a long-time Kamen Rider fan or if you want to be introduced to the franchise.

Just as the SPIRITS manga was my introduction to most of the Showa Riders, Heisei SPIRITS will do something similar and give the basic idea of the Heisei Riders by bringing them together and retelling of Kamen Rider Decade.

I will be posting this sometime as early as Saturday, and I am in the middle of writing chapter 1. Hopefully I can post it sometime this month, and post a chapter for every month. For now, I hope this helps.
