Naruto stared at his apartment's ceiling as he felt still felt the burning anger in his chest. It had been a week since his mission debriefing and Naruto's anger had not diminished at all.
He recalled when the Hokage was spouting out excuse after excuse, attempting to make him calm down but he had enough of being lied to. He ran out with his arm covering his eyes so others wouldn't see him crying. Naruto immediately ran home and didn't allow anyone in, not wanting to see anyone and not knowing who he can trust anymore were the leading causes behind his action.
Snapping out of his recollection, he hopped out of bed and got ready to head out, not wanting to stay in his apartment anymore, and decided that it was better to go out and let all his anger out in training.
When he arrived at the empty training grounds, he looked around before he nodded his head and began to train, channeling all of his anger and angst into his training.
After half an hour passes, Naruto began to lose his steam. His energy quickly depleting and his fatigue was quickly building. Naruto gritted his teeth before he remembered how angry he had been with the Hokage.
"Naruto, you would have understood at the time."
"I did it to protect you."
"You'll understand when you're older."
The anger came surging back within Naruto, forced by the boy to be multiplied threefold. He quickly scans the area for something that he can safely let out his anger on and immediately spots a training log. He runs to it before he punches it with all of his weight put into it. He pulls back his extended arm before he punches harshly with his other arm. Flesh pounding against wood was all that could be heard for the next five minutes before Naruto finally calmed down enough to take a breather.
His eyes flicked to the floor before he bent over, hands immediately being placed on his knees as he began to gasp for air. He looked back at the training log and was left stunned at the damage he had caused. The log, while not completely ruined, would give the next person that punched it a fist full of splinters.
The blonde hesitated for a couple of seconds before he decided 'fuck it' and pulled up the HUD to check his stats.
'Let's see what I should work on.'

Seeing that his jutsus weren't considered completely mastered by the HUD, he began to train the two jutsus he used most often.
"Alright, I'll train the Sexy Jutsu and the Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu."
After a few hours of tirelessly performing his two favorite jutsus, Naruto's boredom has hit its limit and so he decided to check his progress.

His anger flared, and his chest felt so hot that he let out an angry yell that held all of his anger. "How the hell am I supposed to master these jutsus!" He yelled out in anguish.
Jutsus are mastered in three stages.
Basic - you learned a new jutsu.
Advanced - you're able to perform the jutsu without hand signs.
Mastered - you're able to perform the jutsu instantaneously and without hand signs.
"Wait, I'm able to perform the jutsus without hand signs?" Naruto asked inquisitively.
Naruto closed his eyes before he molded his chakra, attempting to perform the sexy jutsu before attempting the shadow clone jutsu before he let out an angry huff to escape his nose. He failed the execution which left him frowning. He opened his eyes before a sudden idea struck him. He performed the jutsus with hand signs, mentally capturing how the chakra felt, and repeated the same sensation.
*poof*
Naruto opened his eyes to see fifteen copies of himself staring at him with wide smirks on their faces. The original mimicked their expression before he dismissed them and transformed into a naked mature woman with whisps of smoke covering her bust and between her legs.
Naruto felt happiness well up inside him as he completed the jutsus without hand signs, knowing that all of the hard work put into the techniques were worth something in the end. Filled with giddy, the blonde boy performed the jutsus again and again, enthusiastically using his chakra in the process of making sure that his jutsus were ready for use at the caliber he wanted them ready for.
When he was finished hours later, he checked the progress on the HUD he had become accustomed to.

"Sweet!"
Naruto closed his eyes and focused on molding his chakra how he wanted, making five shadow clones pop into existence. When he opened his eyes, he smirked at the five gathered clones whose smirks matched the original's. The whiskered boy made a cross-hand sign and popped a hundred clones into existence.
Naruto lowered his center of balance a bit and pulled out a pair of kunai. "Come on guys, the winner gets to have Ichiraku's for dinner!"
A chorus of yelling could be heard before the only sounds coming out of the training grounds were grunts.
*Pop*
"Haah… haah… haah…"
Naruto looked around himself, seeing if he had destroyed all of his clones before he let himself relax. He had made that mistake with the one he just finished. He had relaxed preemptively and had paid the price when the last clone jumped at the opportunity for a free bowl of ramen. He had landed a roundhouse kick that almost took out the original, but was taken out by a precise kunai throw to the face.
"My head… I just need to lie down for a bit…"
When he comfortably lay down on the ground, his eyes were greeted with the sight of countless stars in the sky. 'Wow… it's so- let's see what's another word for pretty. It's pretty but that sounds girlish so I'm not gonna say it… it's so cool? Yeah, it's so cool…'
The boy softly smiled before he was taken by sleep's enticing embrace.
Rippled eyes lit up in amusement as he heard the boy's internal thoughts. The violet eyes thought back to what the boy was watching, the countless stars in the sky. The eyes closed in remembrance of what was among those stars.
Invaders from another planet.
A frown made its way on his face as he remembered what had happened in his youth, remembered how helpless he was to stop them, remembered the terror he felt when he saw how many of them there were.
All beings far stronger than his mother.
Exponentially stronger.
The eyes opened again, the mirth in them completely gone, and were instead placed with anger. Burning hot searing anger.
"I'll bring you back mother… I swear it."
Pale pupilless eyes were half-lidded as she walked down the street. She had been up till late at night, worrying all the while about the exams soon to come. Her father explained the chunin exams since she was smaller, having to go watch them with her father whenever a Hyuga had made it to the final stage when they were held in Konoha. Seeing how brutal the exams could be, she was worried for her teammates and herself.
'Should I participate in the exams? I'm not sure if I'm ready. I'll only participate if Shino and Kiba want to. I just hope I don't drag them down.'
Hinata let out a silent sigh before she turned and began heading to Naruto's team training grounds. She would often head there whenever she needed to relax and think, knowing Naruto frequented there a lot helped Hinata calm down. She could swear that Naruto was probably the warmest and kindest person there was, the warm aura he had around him only bolstering her thoughts.
Hinata had a soft smile as she entered the training grounds. She breathed in the smell of the forest but was surprised when there was another scent. She looked around and saw that the one training log was almost ruined while there was also a couple of kunai randomly spread across the training ground.
Her first thought was that she stumbled upon Team 7 training, but a second thought entered her mind. A quite an outlandish one but Hinata couldn't help but think of it.
'What if someone infiltrated the village and attacked Team 7? That's probably not what happened, but what if it did? I'll… I'll look around just in case.'
Her shy nature led her to develop a bit of indecisiveness, always second-guessing herself, and always questioning if she made the right decision. She closed her eyes and forced her mind to quiet down. She made the ram hand sign and focused her chakra into her eyes.
'Byakugan.'
She scanned the area around her and found Naruto sprawled out on the floor in a clearing across the river in the training grounds. 'What happened to him? Is he alright?'
She quietly and hesitantly made her way over to her object of affection, careful to not wake him up. When she was right next to him, she bent her head over Naruto's face, trying to see if he was hurt.
'He doesn't look like he's hurt… he was probably just tired… maybe he was training with his team and they left him like this after he passed out? Oh, I hope that's not what happened. Naruto truly cares for his team so I hope they care for him just as much.'
Red
That's all Naruto could think and see as the sunlight beamed into his closed eyelids. He furrowed his brows as he slowly opened his eyes, luckily something blocked the sunlight from blinding him just right then.
Ocean blue stared into pale white eyes. One filled with curiosity, and the other filled with worry and admiration. It took the girl a second before embarrassment and a bit of fear filled her. She jerked back so hard that she almost lost her balance if she hadn't instinctively channeled chakra into her feet. Naruto kept his eyesight on her out of confusion and curiosity, wondering why Hinata was here and what she was doing.
"Hinata? Uhh, hi there."
"Hel-Hello, Naruto." The shy girl quickly stammered out.
"Uhh, what were you doing?"
"What was I doing? I was… just…" Hinata looked around, desperately looking for something to cause a distraction and, for the first time in her life, get Naruto's attention off of her. After a couple of seconds of no interruptions, Hinata's anxiety hit its peak.
"Hinata?"
Thud
"Hinata!"
Naruto quickly got up and checked up on the passed-out girl, only to find nothing wrong with her beside her already receding blushing face. Full of confusion and cluelessness, Naruto merely propped the girl against a nearby tree before he looked around himself.
'Why am I still at the training grounds? Ah, wait a second. I never went home, did I?'
A yawn forced its way out of him as he connected the dots and realized that he had passed out yesterday night.
Outside.
Drenched in sweat and grime.
Naruto pulled his collar and took a whiff of his body odor.
"Oh my-! Blegh! No wonder Hinata passed out! I reek!" Naruto sent an apologetic look toward Hinata before he began to run toward his apartment. "I have to shower before anyone else smells me!"
A short red-haired boy stared down at the streets of Konoha. Ignoring all the chatter and noises the sea of weaklings produced, he scanned the streets below for something that would catch his eye.
Gaara watched the streets of Konoha from atop a tree in a bored manner. The day had not been interesting at all and the boy needed something to distract him before something bad could happen.
'This village is filled with nothing but weaklings.'
"Hey, gramps! Give me five orders of my usual!"
Gaara turned around to see where the loud shouting was coming from and saw an individual enter a little restaurant.
Ichiraku's Ramen
He turned back around and scanned the streets once more. Looking for something that could distract him before he decided to go check out the shop in the other direction. After a couple of seconds of nothing happening, Gaara closed his eyes and broke apart into sand.
He reappeared atop another tree that was closer to the little restaurant. He closed his eyes and focused on the small building, sensing the people within.
'Two with small chakra reserves… civilians. And one with large chakra reserves…'
With his interest peaked, Gaara body flickered down right next to the stall. He was about to peer in, but a loud commotion came from where he had been earlier. His head snapped in that direction and he unconsciously took a step forward.
Only to collide with someone exiting the store.
"Alright, thanks for the free meal!"
Naruto waved off the father and daughter ramen chefs before he walked out of Ichiraku's, only to bump into someone on the outside.
"Whoops, sorry about that. My bad." Naruto apologized as he looked into the stranger's eyes.
The redhead turned to face him completely. "Watch where you're going."
Naruto's easily riled-up anger flared but was quickly replaced by uneasiness and dread as he took a good look at the boy's face.
He saw the underlying anger and eagerness to kill.
He took a step back, making Gaara let out a breath of disgust. "Don't waste my time."
Gaara disappeared in a cloud of sand before Naruto was able to think again. He mentally pulled up his HUD and let out a sigh. "I'm going to need to be a whole lot stronger."
