Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Gaming Galore. Enjoy the 1500-word chapter. I don't own Overwatch; Blizzard and a few others do.
Reaper made sure that the explosion they caused was unavoidable. They had already taken enough oil for his next plan and he knew Overwatch would be coming soon enough.
"Make sure he's ready for your little test…" Reaper hissed and turned to Widowmaker and Sigma. "You know what to do… Leave the others to me and Doomfist." Reaper ordered before vanishing in a cloud of shadows.
He knew more then to believe Sombra had everything in order, but it didn't matter. This operation promised to kill at least one of Overwatch's finest, and if that happened? Losses were acceptable in his mind.
Sombra looked at Rez as they called him. He had come up with another nickname for himself, but it was ignored. Still? She was glad about her work when it came down to it.
He stood in blackish green armor which stood in contract to the person who he would be fighting. The mech looked far more imposing then 'DVA's' mech could hope to be, with thrusters for heavy moving and unlike who could be seen through the mech's canopy? His was enclosed behind a reddish piece of metal.
And completely expendable. Sombra knew it wouldn't stand up to a lot of punishment despite the design… But he was just a distraction, a paper tiger.
His looked far more like something one might on a anime show, with a glowing green head atop the mech, claw like feet for scaling buildings. The war machine was topped with wings for moving around and rocket launchers alongside long range laser canons. The mech was also at least twice the size of DVA's, all the better for a meat shield and a war weapon.
He looked up to see a ship approaching, one with a familiar logo. One that told him just what he could expect.
"They're here!" Sombra yelled before the trio retreated with a dozen Talon soldiers each.
They all retreated into the hellish inferno the explosion caused. Eager to kill overwatch, eager to show them just how much the conflict they brought worked.
The dropship deployed a trio of agents. Rez's scanners went through each of them in turn, quite curious as to what this objective was.
Sombra watched as the creature dropped from the ledge and slowly deployed a pair of thrusters to keep it from collapsing into the ground.
"You do not believe your creation will do any damage." Sombra heard from Widowmaker as she turned.
"I expect him to hurt the teenager he's friends with." Sombra added before bringing up her phone. "Do you not expect more things to be created down the road?" Sombra questioned before Widowmaker raised her rifle.
She noticed Winston, McCree, and DVA. Widowmaker guessed others had gone after Reaper and Doomfist who were spotted on television cameras.

The cyborg slowly walked forward, his mech clanking as it trudged ahead. The monster of metal and skin looked around with interest, his scanners locking onto the first thing he saw.
"A Talon robot?" Rez heard which made him raise an eyebrow, interested in the term.
"Cyborg, cowboy." Rez stated, lifting his canon. "Destroy… ." Rez hissed as he began to open fire.
Winston rushed out of the way as stone rained down from laser blasts which melted concrete and flipped cars. The creature looked at McCree as it grabbed a car, crushing the frame of the vehicle inside his claw. He tossed it at the cowboy who swiftly dodged only to notice a glimmer in the distance.
"Widowmaker…" McCree muttered as cannon fire threw the creature backwards.
"Go, we're handle it!" Winston stated while Rez slowly rose to his feet. "My word, what twisted terror has Talon created?" Winston asked as missiles burst from the cyborg's back at him.
"That voice…" Winston heard as he turned to notice next to him. "I think… No, can't be like that." DVA added as the cyborg turned its attention to her.
"Destroy DVA." Rez hissed while aiming its canon at her in anger. "KILL!" Rez hissed before opening fire as hellish red lasers burst from the weapon.
The trio ran aside, all looking at the ledge as Rez turned, his mech's weapons firing after them. turned and fired a burst of fire at him while he turned to be thrown backwards by the former star, this sent him skidding backwards while he looked at the star with interest.
"Hannah!" Winston yelled at the hulking machine slowly rose up and skated back, peppering the group with laser fire.
"I got him, go get Doomfist!" put in as Winston turned to look at the others.
Against his better judgement, he allowed it. One overwatch agent vs a Talon operative was an even match. He fled with McCree who pursued Widowmaker, the sniper swung away, cursing McCree as she went.
Rez turned to DVA who turned TOKKI to face him. He glared at the woman through the mech's cockpit window.
"You…." Rez hissed, his mech's claws digging groves into the stone. "Will die." Rez said, readying the mech for combat.
"Nah, don't feel like it today." DVA put in as she rushed ahead.
Rez was sent skidding back by the hit, throwing his mech back. The hulking machine turned and fired another group of missiles at the woman. He watched her skate away, seeming to drift over the asphalt as he brought up the laser cannons on his weapon.
DVA turned only for one of the lasers to smash into her mech, throwing it along the ground as Rez rushed after her, eager for the kill. He wrapped a clawed hand around the chassis of her mech and turned, thrusters firing as he flung it in the direction of the damaged plant.
"I should have brought popcorn…" Sombra said as she watched the duo battle.
"Sombra, stop watching the damn fight and return to base!" Reaper hissed to which the Talon hacker scoff as her fun was brought to an abrupt end.
She turned to look at the duo as used her thrusters to stop herself from crashing into the tower. Rez advanced, missiles firing as his own thrusters kicked in and sent him after the idol.
"He's good…" DVA stated as she opened fire on the machine only for it to dodge and smash into her. "Why does this feel… Familiar?" DVA questioned; her eyes slowly widened.
The duo smashed into the remains of the cooling tower. Both of their mechs crashed into the ground, their thrusters knocked offline by the crash. DVA looked at the hulking machine which had been damaged by the crash.
She blinked at the mech's pilot before her eyes widened. Despite the greenish black armor, he wore she knew who it was, she could see the look behind the damaged mask.
"No, they… No…" DVA stated, questioning the depths of Talon's cruelty, she could see quite clearly that it was one of her fellow gamers.
"DVA…" The pilot hissed as the damaged machine slowly climbed to its feet. "You will not leave here alive. Talon will make sure of it." The pilot hissed, willing the machine upwards.
"Radley…" DVA stated as she looked over her controls. "No, they'd never get you." DVA whispered, her voice a whisper as she looked at the pilot with shock.
She knew the pilot. There was no way they could have gotten him. No way he'd have joined. She looked at the damaged mech before realizing that it hadn't managed to free itself, heavy concrete buried the mech as its laser cannons fired at her.
DVA sighed and set the self-destruction sequence in advance. She'd ask him after this was done and over with.
The mech flew towards Rez as a laser smashed into it, denting and warping the metal but not destroying it as it's reactor rapidly overheated.
"DVA!" Rez roared as the mech detonated, raining fire and metal across the area as the mech exploded in a hail of flames.
DVA swept her pistol around the area as she looked at the twisted remains of the mech. Despite whatever enchantments Talon had given her friend? She could see the explosion had knocked him out cold.
"Satisfied with your little toy, Sombra?" Sombra heard as she watched look at her wounded friend. "All this to plant a spy…." Reaper hissed, displeased with being forced to try one of her plans.
"Very…." Sombra said and vanished, leaving the damaged cyborg behind.

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out me setting up Rez then having him lose is supposed to foreshadow what he can do on Overwatch. I will make him tougher and such later. Next chapter will show DVA and Rez talking and more about their bond. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
