Loud snoring echos through the otherwise silent room now. After having their meeting with Bege and going over the information that the man had managed to collect they'd stashed themselves away inside the man's body courtesy of his Devil Fruit. Since he would be at the wedding and no one would suspect him it's the perfect way to get them as close as they can and make sure that in the event anything changes they're on hand to deal with it. Before they'd done that, however, Luffy had come up with a plan of his own to sow more chaos at the wedding and give him a better chance at getting to the picture frame. After making all the preparations that they could, and with nothing left to do but wait they'd all finally settled down to get some sleep while they could.
"Run," speaks Jinbe, earning a soft sigh from the red head in response. "May I ask you a question?"
"By all means, Jinbe," Run says, shifting slightly but not opening his eyes. Jinbe turns in his direction, peering over the table to find him lying on the floor with ankles crossed and fingers threaded together on his stomach. His head rests on the side of a massive black wolf while a light coating of frost covers both it's fur and his hair. It's rather unnerving feeling watching as the wolf opens a single crimson eye and it's nose curls slightly to reveal ivory white canines in response to his stare. "Quit it. You're like a permanent cool side of the pillow to me right now. Don't spoil it."
"How did you end up sailing with Luffy? I heard from Luffy that you were also a brother to Ace...but I wonder how you came to meet them."
"Aah, well, that's simple. Dad wanted to take a...well, let's call it a vacation. Anyway, we left the Grand Line and landed in Foosha Village. I met Luffy there and the next thing I knew we'd become fast friends. When it came time to leave, I decided that I wanted to stay...I wanted to help Luffy become King of the Pirates. So, I parted ways with dad and the crew and the rest has been history. There's not really much to it, I'm afraid."
"You weren't interested in the title?"
"Ehh, not really. I thought it would be more fun to just travel the New World. I'd put a crew together, and just sail around seeing new islands and stirring up some trouble with the Marines. I never really thought of chasing after One Piece before I met Luffy because I knew I could just ask Uncle Rayleigh and he would tell me what he saw on Laughtale." Jinbe chuckles a bit in response.
"I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Red Hair doesn't seem that interested in chasing after One Piece, either."
"Hah, I am my father's son." Run opens a single eye, and Jinbe notes immediately that the iris seems to be glowing a gentle crimson fit the match the wolf's own. "What's the point of life if not to live freely at your own pace, Jinbe?" The former Shichibuki's brow furrows as he stares at the man. "What? Something on my face?"
"N-No. I...was just curious about your Devil Fruit." Run closes his eye and actually grins, revealing a pair of rather sharp looking canine teeth.
"Honestly, I'm curious about it myself. I know that it's a Mythical Zoan and it's made my sense of smell go through the roof but that's about it. I still haven't figured out who to change my form like a normal Zoan can. Maybe that's for the best since Fenrir was a wolf so large his jaws stretched to the heavens. But I guess I'll figure it out eventually. No doubt it'll come in handy." Several long moments of silence follow before Jinbe finally turns away from the man, crossing his arms.
"Right. Sorry to disturb your rest. You should get some sleep while you can...especially after fighting with Cracker all night."
"Aah, just catchin' my second wind."
"Hm? Hey, you fools!" calls a familiar if irritation voice. "Why are you sleeping?! You should be getting ready!"
"Let them sleep," Jinbe tells him. "They haven't exactly slept much since they arrived on the island. I'll wake them up ten minutes before it's time to go."
"I can't believe this. I'll ditch them as soon as they get in my way." With that Bege disappears and Run sighs softly.
"What a charmer..."
"Wake up, Luffy!" bellows Jinbe, screaming directly into his ear. "The wedding is going to start any minute!" He raises a hand and proceeds to slap Luffy across the face several times with no effect. Luffy continues to snore away even as as Jinbe shakes and shouts at him as loud as he can manage. "How can he still be sleeping? Do any of you know a way to wake him up?" The doors to the room are very suddenly thrown open and all heads turn quickly to find Run entering. He carries a massive dish covered with different cuts of meat with a single arm, approaching the still sleeping Luffy. "Run?"
"If there's one thing I've learned it's exactly how to wake Luffy up," Run says, grinning at him. He picks up a shank of meat and begins to casually wave it in front of Luffy's face. "Alright, now! Wakey-wakey, Luffy!" His snoring comes to a halt with a sudden snort. His eyes snap open and Luffy lunges towards the meat shank. "Whoa!" The red head releases the food quickly as Luffy clamps shut on the meat. "Holy..." He flexes his fingers, carefully counting to make sure that nothing is missing before placing the dish down on the table.
"Sooo good~!" gushes Luffy, as Run places the food down in front of him.
"Luffy, we have to go," Jinbe tells him, quickly tucking him under an arm. "The gunshot cue will be any minute!" He quickly carries him through a floor length mirror, sprinting down the hall to get into position. The rest of them quickly follow after the two.
"N-No! I have to finish this! C'mon, Jinbe!" The plan is...kind of brilliant, really. Using Brulee's powers, and some of the men that Bege has implanted amongst Big Mama's own, they've managed to hide a mirror in the wedding cake. Combine that with the animals disguised as Luffy that they plan to unleash, they'll be at least a dozen of 'Luffy' rampaging through the wedding. No one should figure out which one is the real one until it's too late to do anything about it...at least that's the plan.
They make it to their point of entry, and with the use of Brulee's powers, open up the mirror leading to the party. They drag over the captured animals, ready to open up the net they're contained in and let them run wild. They don't have to wait long for their cue, as a gunshot suddenly shatters the silence of the ceremony.
"Let's go!" screams Luffy, launching himself through the mirror. They quickly open the net, allowing the animals to rampage out into the middle of the party.
"Alright, that's the last one!" Run says, tossing the net aside. A smirk appears on his face, and he cracks his neck loudly. "Let's get in position." The red head takes a step forward and stops abruptly. "Aah! Before I forget, Caesar! Please don't screw this up." Without waiting for Caesar to respond, he charges forward through the mirror. The screaming of the crowd sounds loudly even over the collapse of the giant wedding cake they find themselves in.
"Alright," whispers Nami. "Once Luffy breaks the picture, we'll burst in after three seconds. Everyone got their..." Her words trail off as she notices Chopper and Carrot stuffing large chunks of the wedding cake into their mouths. "Are you even listening? Be serious here!" Run peeks over the edge of the cover they're using to get a better look at what's going on. It seems that their plan has royally pissed off Big Mom, who has summoned two of her Homies to wipe out all of the clones and Luffy in one shot. Before she can get the chance, however, Luffy leaps skyward with his fist raised. He's got the picture in his sights...but before he can break the photo, he's blind-sided and captured by some strange ability. They trace it back to a large man dressed in black, who's leg has stretched out to catch Luffy. "Crap! He got caught!"
"Craaaap! Alright! I'm going!" The red head leaps the edge and slides down the surface of the fallen cake with ease. The whole plan doesn't mean anything if Luffy gets caught before they can shatter the picture frame. He's barely touched the ground before he gets his first look at Big Mom...and without a doubt the word 'big' doesn't do this woman justice. She's not as big as a giant but she's definitely in the running. "Hold on, Luffy! I'm comin' in hot!" Run charges in the direction of the captured Luffy, and grasps the hilt of his cutlass. "Crimson-"
"Juice Shot!" calls a female voice. Run whirls around in the direction of the voice quickly, energy crackling from the blade of his cutlass.
"-Tide!" Their attacks meet head on juice scattering in all directions and briefly obscuring the two from view before a large woman reappears sliding across the plaza with her sword held defensively in front of her. She's barely come to a stop before she quickly lifts a leg, offering her shin up to shield her as the red head flickers into existence in front of her. "Sea King's Lash!" Their legs meet with a near deafening 'boom!' that topples several near by chairs and tables. Both remain absolutely still for several moments before Run's form seems to flicker once more before he reappears several meters away. A large blade occupies the space he'd been standing only moments before while he only grins at her. "Wow! Yer Haki is a lot tougher than Cracker's was."
"Smoothie, you're interfering, too?" Big Mom asks, glaring down at the two of them. "First Katakuri and now you. Do you really think that I-"
"Oi! Run!" Luffy shouts. "Help me out! I'm caught here!"
"Dahahaha~! I see that!" laughs Run, looking up at him. "Gimme a sec..." He tilts his head back and surprises them all by howling so loudly that several of those nearby actually cover their ears in pain. The shadows in the plaza seem to darken, growing longer and deeper as numerous pin-pricks of crimson light spring to life within them. A trio of massive black wolves seem to crawl from the shadows with a layer of frost accompanying them as the temperature lowers. The breath of all present becomes visible in spite of the sunny day as the wolves prowl amongst the tables with hackles raised and fangs bared. "You two. Go help." Two of the large wolves immediately break into a sprint, covering the distance between themselves and the man holding Luffy captive.
"Juice Shot!" cries Smoothie, leveling her sword at the wolves. While one dodges the blast of juice, the second isn't as fortunate and is struck broad-side. It tumbles across the ground several times, frozen droplets of juice scattering in all directions as it quickly rights itself and shakes from head to toe appearing no worse for wear before continuing onwards. "Juice-"
"Careful now, Smoothie." Movement from the corner of her eye immediately draws her attention and she turns sharply to catch the third of the large wolves. It's fangs snap together with a loud 'click!' inches from her face, and she squeezes it tightly in response. It's body begins to contort, twisting violently as it howls.
"Candy Wave!" shouts another male voice. A jagged wave of candy races across the ground in the direction of the two wolves rushing Katakuri skewering them only feet. "I see! So this is how you managed to defeat Cracker, red hair!" Run glances over his shoulder at the voice, finding a man standing several meters away. He carries a large lollipop and, like Vito, has his tongue hanging out of his mouth. "Unfortunately, it won't-" A sharp cry of pain from Smoothie silences the man and all heads turn in the direction of the woman as she smashes the wolf in her grip into the floor of the plaza before kicking it away. Numerous fang marks cover her forearm, and blood drips freely from the bites.
"Dahahaha~! Sorry, sorry!" Once more he glances back at the man, offering a grin that exposes several sharp canine teeth. "Ya were sayin'...?"
"Just leave it to me, Run," Jinbe tells him, rapidly approaching Luffy with giant tea-cup in hand. He dashes the liquid into the sky, tossing the cup aside as he does so. "Ocean Current...Shoulder Throw!" With a move of his hand he tosses the tea like a spear at the strange mass that Luffy is stuck into. With sudden ease, Luffy is knocked free, striking the ground and rolling several feet away. "Katakuri ate a special Paramecia-type Devil Fruit, the Mochi-Mochi Fruit. You can get away from it with liquid...but it's better not to be caught by it in the first place. As for her, Smoothie has eaten a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit as well, the Wring-Wring Fruit. She can wring the 'juice' out of people she catches...so don't let her get her hands on you."
"Hmm. There is most definitely a joke there."
"Big Mom! I'm the one who told Luffy about Mother Carmel. Since I'm your ally, I hear those kinds of talks." A large blond man sitting at a table close to Big Mom suddenly stands, slamming his fists against it violently. A quick glance reveals the table is occupied by all the members of the Vinsmoke Family.
"What is the meaning of this?!" demands Judge. "You idiots really have the audacity to interfere?!"
"Do not worry, members of Vinsmoke," the long tongued man says, approaching the table. "We of the Charlotte Family will handle this."
"I thought you gave up leaving my crew," Big Mom asks Jinbe. "But you defended the guy who destroyed the cake...I take it as complete mutiny, do you understand?"
"I understand completely," Jinbe tells her. "I want to leave your crew and join the Straw Hats!"
"If that's the case...then you need to pay the price for leaving. After that, I could care less what you do. You don't plan to leave without at least doing that, do you? You don't want to live the rest of your life in shame, do you, Jinbe?"
"Right. I'm happy to give you my life span, as much as you can take!"
"You truly hate me that much! You'd rather die than stay where you don't want to be..." Big Mom narrows her eyes, the air around her seeming to darken and grow stagnate. "So be it! You've got yourself a deal!" Big Mom approaches slowly, towering over the former Shichibukai. "Stay...or...life!" Several tense moments pass before confusion appears on the Yonko's face. "Stay or life!" Again there seems to be nothing that happens, as the two stare one another down. Eventually the strange air disappears and Jinbe smirks.
"Is that it? I'm a man who wants to be part of the future Pirate King's crew...I won't be intimidated by a mere Yonko!" Silence reins over the entire plaza for several long seconds before the red head actually breaks out into loud laughter.
"Dahaha~! Dahahaha~!" laughs Run. "Look at ya! Can't intimidate someone, can't kill three prisoners; hell, ya can't even control your own crew! I guess they just give the title of 'Yonko' out these days, eh?" Jinbe kneels down slowly, and produces a single sake cup from within the folds of his kimono.
"If you won't take my life...then I'm returning this sake cup, and I'm leaving the Big Mom Pirates! Thank you for all your trouble!"
"Congratulations, Jinbe," Big Mom says, laughing lightly. "You've become my enemy now, right?" She raises a hand up, reaching for the sun homie floating near-by her. She grasps it tightly, and swings down towards the former Shichibukai. "If that's the case, then go to hell!" Jinbe leaps back, avoiding her attack as flames pour out in all directions. Big Mom raises her fist again and comes to an abrupt halt when the sound of something shattering reaches her ears. Through the flames surrounding her she turns to find the picture of Mother Caramel in pieces, and someone standing close by.
"Good job!" screams Luffy, grinning from ear to ear. It's the cue they've been waiting for, and their fail-safe in the event that Luffy couldn't get close enough to do the deed himself. The man turns around and removes the mask he's wearing, revealing himself to be Brook.
"I-I thought you were dead!"
"I am," Brook tells her. "I died a long time ago." Big Mom staggers around, knocking over several tables in a blind fit. "I thought that she was gonna shriek?!"
"Do you have any idea who that is? And the wedding cake!" Big Mom continues to stagger around but shows no sign of shrieking any time soon. All of Big Mom's children finally seem to realize just how dire the situation is becoming and rapidly charge forward.
"Juice Shot," Smoothie growls, launching a wave of juice at the red head.
"Whoa!" shouts Run, dodging the attack with ease. "Aah, would ya-"
"Juice Shot!" A second blast flies in his direction and he raises his cutlass, energy crackling from the blade.
"Crimson Tide!" A wave of energy sails in her direction and slices clean through her attack. "-Give it a rest?!" The juice passes on either side of the red head, crashing through the plaza even as he seems to disappear from view. Smoothie quickly raises her sword as he reappears in front of her. "Red Line Strike!" The tip of his cutlass strikes the flat of her sword with a loud 'boom!' and sends the larger woman sliding backwards several meters. "Wow! You're really-" Numerous shadows fall over the red head and his figure blurs before reappearing several meters away as several of Big Mom's children strike the area he'd been occupying only seconds before. "C'mon! I thought that old woman was supposed to scream by now!"
"All allied forces, support Straw Hat!" screams Bege, his voice echoing across the plaza. "And prepare to use your Invisible Symphonia System!"
"They're earplugs, Bege!" Run digs into his pocket and quickly stuffs the earplugs into his ears.
"Bege," mutters Smoothie, glancing briefly in the man's direction. "Am I to understand you've allied yourself with Bege, red hair?" Run's brow furrows slightly in response and then he grins before leaning in her direction and raising a hand to his ear.
"Huh? What'd ya say, Smoothie?" The red head raises his cutlass and taps it against his shoulder. "Well, if yer askin' for a date, I'm afraid I'll have'ta decline! I'm spoken for!" He glances beyond her at Luffy who is charging after Big Mom, broken picture frame in hand. Katakuri is in hot pursuit of his captain despite the interference of Bege, Pedro and Bege...but he won't be able to stop him. Even when he pins Luffy with his Devil Fruit, Luffy stretches his arms out quickly towards Big Mom, thrusting the destroyed picture directly into her face.
Big Mom immediately begins to scream, her voice loud enough to topple the tables closest to her with ease. Smoothie drops to her knees, her sword clattering to the ground as she presses her hands tightly against her ears in an attempt to muffle Big Mom's voice. Bege, Vito and Gotti stand at the ready with Caesar's KX Launchers. The three men doesn't hesitate even for a second, and quickly fire the weapons created by Caesar at Big Mom.
"I won't forgive them!" screams Big Mom, her voice causing the rockets to explode several meters away from her. "I won't forgive the Straw Hats!" The plan...has completely failed! Bege, Vito and Gotti immediately discard the spent weapons and take off at a sprint away from Big Mom. Since they failed to kill Big Mom they can only move on to the next part of the plan...escape! The rest of the crew follows suit, sprinting after the three men across the plaza. Caesar appears before them, flying through the air with mirror in tow.
Unfortunately...it's not just the rockets that suffer under Big Mom's wailing but the mirror, too. As they near it, the mirror shatters into a thousand pieces right before them. Their escape plan...it's completely useless now. They've got no escape route!
"Castle at Full Size: Big Boss!" exclaims Bege. They watch in amazement as his body rapidly transforms into a giant castle before their very eyes. "All allied forces, quickly! Get inside!" Bege's men stream out of the castle gates, firing wildly at Big Mom's children as they dash for the entrance. Caesar quickly races past all of them, knocking Carrot and Chopper off their feet and resulting in them being buried in the remains of the fallen wedding cake all while in the process of trying to save his own life.
"Hold on!" Run shouts, shoving his cutlass into it's sheath and quickly grasping the two of them by a respective ankle. "I'll have ya outta there in a- what the?" A single sharp tug dislodges the two, revealing them both with bulging cheeks full of wedding cake. "Dahahaha~! C'mon, you two!" He manages to spin the two around and deposit them back onto their feet. "We need to-"
"I'm going to squeeze the life out of you!" growls Smoothie, a hand suddenly enclosing the red head. She lifts him from his feet and slams him into the ground. "You...ngh...!" Her hand slowly begins to lift as he pushes her away from him with a grin.
"Sorry! Told ya already, I'm spoken for, Smoothie! So, hands off the goods!" He shoves her hand aside and rolls away as her sword comes down, pulverizing the ground. A scowl appears on her face as she watches Nami, Chopper, Carrot and Run rapidly retreat to the castle, soon joined by Sanji and Germa 66. The gates of the castle slam closed behind them. Bege waits for them inside the castle, making sure that all of his men have made it inside before heaving a heavy sigh.
"The assassination of Big Mom...has failed," Bege tells them. "The Big Father's limbs are bound in candy. We can't even move now! But that's not the biggest problem. We'll be surrounded by the Big Mom Pirates and forced to fight a hopeless battle under siege."
"Your Devil Fruit is so cool~!" gushs Chopper. "You can turn into a-"
"This isn't the time for that! The assassination plot that we worked on for over a year ended in failure! This is the first time that we've failed to kill someone."
"Happens to the best of us," Run assures him. "We should be focused on gettin' outta here then wallowing in self pity."
"Huh. I never thought I'd actually agree with you, red hair. Unfortunately, we haven't got much time, and I'll tell you why so listen carefully. This castle is ME. It's strong but it's not unbreakable. If they destroy the castle then I'll die. When that happens all of you will be thrown out to fend for yourselves against Big Mom and her children. You're damned if you stay and damned if you leave." Bege gasps loudly and drops to his knees, gasping wildly for breath.
"H-Huh?! Bege!" shouts Luffy. "What's wrong?!"
"Big Mom...she's come to her senses!" Chiffon quickly rushes to Bege's side in an attempt to help him. But...if Big Mom is attacking the castle, there's no really anything they can do for him except stop her. But they also can't risk fighting it out with Big Mom and her children. They need an escape plan, and it seems that Bege has one. Bege is going to transform out of this form and back into his normal one, and then use Caesar's ability to fly to have him transport him out of this whole situation while they all remain inside. But they're going to need a distraction...one that Germa 66 seems to be more than willing to provide. Reiju approaches the red head before the rest start to head for the gate with a smile on her face.
"Mm, seems this is where we part ways, red hair," Reiju almost purrs.
"Aah, how about that," Run says, offering her a grin. "Well, I've never been one for goodbyes so..."
"That's unfortunate. Then, how about a kiss for good luck?" All eyes seem to be on the two of them in this moment.
"I'm spoken for."
"Hmm. You really are no fun at all." Reiju turns on her heel and strides away from him towards her family, the rest of them quickly leaving the area. Sanji is beside the red head almost immediately, growling at he glares at him.
"Oi, stupid red hair, what the hell was that?" growls Sanji. "Have you been-"
"Whoa-ho! No!" Run assures him. "Trust me. Even if I wasn't spoke for she's not my type." Nami and Chopper quickly approach doing their best to calm Sanji down before it breaks down into fight. The last thing that they need to do is start fighting amongst one another. When it seems that Sanji has finally calmed down they all quickly move to one of the 'windows' in Bege's body to watch the plan unfold. Germa exits his body with Caesar in tow, and Bege quickly transforms back to his normal self. Big Mom's children waste no time in opening fire on them but to their surprise they find all their bullets blocked by Germa, creating an opening for Caesar to grab onto Bege and start flying away while they cover the retreat. It takes the combined effort of Brook and Chopper to keep Luffy from leaping out of Bege's body. It seems that their captain wants to get involved in the fighting regardless of the situation.
"Stop right there!" demands Big Mom, reaching out towards the sun homie. "Heavenly...Fire!" Big Mom fires off a blast of flames directly at them, succeeding in knocking Reiju from the sky. She drops straight down to the plaza below...and it seems that Sanji's brothers have no intention of going down to help her out.
"Aaah, hell!" complains Run, leaping out of their hiding place within Bege's body. He drops down towards the plaza as two of Big Mom's children close in on the prone Reiju. They raise their weapons only to go limp, the two long necked individuals dropping face first to the ground while foaming at the mouth. Run lands in front of her with a bit of a grunt.
"Mm, what?" Reiju questions him. "Missing me already?"
"Don't start. I-" Sensing someone fast approaching Run moves in an instant, appearing behind Reiju as one of Big Mom's children pushes through the smoke and dust. "Sea King's Bite." His fist connects with the man's jaw, a spray of blood and several teeth erupting past his lips as he spins from the impact on unsteady feet. There's a brief flash of pink and a rush of wind as Reiju surges by him. A hand lands firmly on his shoulder as she plants her foot into the man's gut, sending him sailing back through the dust. With a quick scramble he catches her as she falls, the woman landing comfortably in his arms.
"Oh! My, you do have a sweet side after all."
"You're doin' this to aggravate me." He sets her down on her feet. "You saved me before so I saved you. We're even now."
"I won't let anyone get away!" growls Big Mom, drawing their attention to the approaching Yonko. She reaches out, and grasps the cloud Homie floating in the air by her. "Red hair...I'm gonna kill you and send your head to your father!"
"Dahahaha~! Talk about signin' yer own death warrant!" A wild, fanged grin splits his face even as lightning and thunder begin to crackle and boom through the air. "But if yer that eager to die...I'd be happy to oblige you, Big Mom!"
"Gum-Gum...Elephant Gun!"
"Diable Jambe, Crosse...Strike!" Luffy and Sanji intercept her before she can swing her arm, stopping her attack in it's tracks. Both drop down, landing several feet away from the two of them. "Let's go, Reiju! You, too, Luffy!" They quickly turn and begin to sprint away from Big Mom.
"Are you running away, Straw Hat?!" demands Big Mom. "Did you forget what you said on Fish-Man Island? You said you'd kick my ass! Remember what you said when you came to this island? You said, 'we're the one's who'll have the last laugh'. Now you're running away? You coward!"
"C...C...Coward?!" screams Luffy.
"She really can push someone's buttons!" complains Run. "Don't listen to it for now! We'll get her back another day!"
"Just one punch! That's it!" Luffy slides to a stop, and starts sprinting back towards Big Mom. "Yeah, I said that!" He leaps skyward, and transforms into his Gear Fourth. "The one who is going to become the King of Pirates in the end...is me!" His punch collides with Big Mom's own Busoshoku enhanced arms with no effect. "Once I take down Kaido you're next!" Luffy releases his transformation, flying backwards as he exhales the air he's pumped himself up with. Run snatches him from air, and continues sprinting away.
"Kaido?" Big Mom echos. "He won't be defeated by the likes of you! And you bastards...how can you even dream of escaping my territory?!" Big Mom chases them across the plaza, rapidly closing the distance as her children begin to close in on all sides. Their window to make an escape is rapidly closing with members of Germa being brought down all around them, until at last they're completely surrounded on all sides by Big Mom and her children. Run slowly scans their surroundings, a heavy sigh escaping him.
"Don't suppose you've got a plan, red," wonders Sanji.
"Well, I was thinkin' bail," Run tells him simply. "But I guess we'll move on to plan 'b'."
"Which is?"
"Dahaha~! Don't rush me, I'm thinkin'!" Big Mom approaches closer, the crowd of her children slowly parting for her massive frame. "Wow...you're even fatter up close."
"Alright," begins Big Mom. "Now, let's start the executions. Starting with-" An earth-shattering 'boom!' suddenly echos across the whole island, and rocks the entire plaza...which rapidly begins to tilt to one side. It becomes very clear that the entire building is collapsing! It's exactly the distraction they need to make an escape...or it would be if the whole building wasn't falling towards the sea! Luffy, Sanji and Run charge up the rapidly sloping plaza, dodging tables, chairs and bodies as they sprint with all their might.
