Biography:
The daughter of European nobles related to the vampire hunting Belmont clan. They raised doves as animal familiars. In 1792, when she was twelve years old, the vampire lord Dracula struck her land. Maria went out on her own to look for the root of the dark disturbances and was captured by the corrupted priest Shaft, a servant of Dracula.
Several other girls were kidnapped along Maria, one of them was Annette, girlfriend of Richter Belmont. Annette cared after Maria as a surrogate big sister figure until Richter rescued them both. Maria helped Richter fight his way the rest of Dracula's stronghold.
By 1796, Richter vanished without a trace. Maria looked for him without any success, but in 1797, Dracula's castle reappeared in Transylvania. Maria met Alucard, Dracula's son who had been sealed by Richter's ancestor Trevor Belmont three hundred years ago. They teamed up against Alucard's hated father and freed the mentally controlled Richter from his grip.
Maria fell in love with Alucard, who wasn't ready to love someone again, but she managed to convince him not to return to his stasis sleep, so he could find his place in humanity.
This is Maria as she was at her fifteen years old, in a middle point between her earliest and later exploits. She has all the memories from her full vampire hunting career, but those of her young adult life are to her like a dream watched from someone else's existence, even if she is aware that knowledge comes from her future. "But anyway, as a Heroic Spirit, knowing that or not doesn't change anything!" she will tell you.

Her love for animals allows her to ride them easily. Motor vehicles are more difficult to master, but chariots and anything less technologically advanced can be handled with ease within a short timeframe.
Magic Resistance: B
A remarkably skilled for her age spellcaster herself, Maria knows her way around magic. Chanted spells from after her lifetime have no effect on her unless they are the work of a True Magic user, a Sorcerer Supreme, a Lord of Order, or a vessel for a divinity.
Spells from the Age of Gods can hurt her, however, but her experience with time traveling lessens even this, making her able to soldier on through most non automatically lethal spells.

She wasn't a vampire hunter by choice at first, but once she faced the hordes of Dracula, she took on the job with enthusiasm and great optimism. She learned from Richter, and she has Belmont blood as well, so all forces of darkness are wary about her potential.
Maria deals extra 150 of damage to vampiric enemies compared to standard Servants fighting her.
Animal Dialogue: A
Her main weapon of choice is a long metal pole, taller than herself, with a big white own caged at the upper end of it. That qualifies her for the Lancer class.
In combat, she can manifest four 'sacred' beasts, Genbu (Xuan Wu, the black tortoise), Byakko (Bai Hu, the white tiger), Seiryuu (Qing Long, the azure dragon) and Suzaku (Zhu Que, the vermilion bird). They appear as small avatars fiercely loyal to her, and they aren't to be understimated despite their reduced size and comical looks.
Lancer is able to call forth doves and siccing them on her enemies. While she can't control other animals she is is good terms with all of them, save for possessed or evil creatures, and they won't attack her even if they were commanded to do so.
The owl's name is Osca.
Spellcraft: C
Maria doesn't have enough aptitude in magic to qualify for the Caster class. Item and Territory Creation are beyond her reach. But she can chant simple quick attack spells, including shooting energy balls and freezing time for a few seconds, gaining an edge over her enemies. Other spells include exorcising evil spirits with quotes from the Scriptures (the Church still has to pronounce itself on the matter) and blowing sacred ash which will burn the undead.
Martial Arts: D
Maria only has mastered a single martial art, a special style developed by her ancestors and called the Guardian Knuckle. As she employs it, it makes extensive use of jumping and kicking, despite how it was named. Lancer can perform double jumps, even surpassing those of Richter, thanks to her light body and slim frame, but they also decrease the power of each impact she inflicts upon her adversaries.

Anti-Unit.
Lancer calls on the power of the Four Sacred Beasts declaring "Come on everybody, give me your strength", in a manner similar to the Summon Four Holy Beasts protection spell. Her owl becomes imbued with their combined strength. Lancer then rushes her opponent with the caged owl, but it is too powerful and drags Lancer, causing her to trip and release it. It breaks free from its cage, takes off like a jet rocket, and then dive-bombs her opponent, causing massive damage. It then lands on her head in a whimsical manner.
Summon: "Servant Lancer! My name's Maria, and I may be young but I eat vampires for breakfast!"
