Announcements: All: I am sorry for taking a while. Complications with wife condition have made it hard to focus. It feels like we are trying to get back to our room on the 13th floor with the elevator broken and taking the stairs. Nami4life: I agree with not everyone being dimigods though I do intend for some demigods to be crewmembers. As for who, well I will hint that it will fit into their back story. You can count on one hand how many till the new world. As you wished and me wanting personally to show some new twists, and the new people's skills. you will see a new person skill, and the tweak to an existing person's skill development in this chapter.

[ Luffy's pov ]
As we dropped and kissed for the third time we decided to stop for the day. As I change back Nami gets in the saddle. Pulling out of free fall at the last possible moment we strafe beside the boat. Dipping the tip of my wing in the water I created a huge spray covering the boat and halfway up the sails. Diving in the water I changed then we shot out of the water landing on the deck. As Nami almost fell over not having done this in many years I grabbed her. As she is blushing we look at the drenched pair Glaring at us. We busted out laughing for a few seconds. Then I will the water off our clothes and their clothes.
I tell them. "You got to relax a little or you are going to become as dull as Mihawk." Both stiffen up. Zoro just stared at me as Kuina spoke up. "You have met Hawkeye Mihawk?" I responded. "Yes and he is very boring. I don't think I have ever seen him laugh. Smile yes, laugh no. He is a pretty decent person. I am glad I haven't had to go against him." They begin to sag their shoulders.
[Time skip]
[Luffy's POV]
Nearing lunch we near a boat in the water we slow down looking at it closely. I see it has a clown on it's sail. Three people come on board and hold swords at us saying. "Surrender in the name of Buggy the Clown!" The four of us looking at one another busted out laughing. He spoke again. "I mean it! Stop laughing!"
Kuina spoke up. "Ok Zoro." Kuina and Zoro face one another, throwing their hands down three times the both have their extended hands in fists. Starting again the Buggy pirates look at each other confused. Ending in her hand flat while Zoro in a fist. As she slowly drew her sword, Zoro sat down smiling. She held her katakana in a reverse grip like a knife in her right hand, both arms out to the side at 4 and 8 o'clock.
The two on the outside attack, while the other gets ready to back the two up. As the one on her left does a down strike, the right jabs. Dipping to her left she dodges the jab, spinning from right to left she stepped in close after blocking the down strike. Still spinning she had her back to the pirate who was on her left, inches away and at head level. With a flick of her wrist, and throwing her hip out the one to her back stumbles back losing his balance. The one who jabbed still had his arm out received a cut to his forearm down to the bone, dropping his blade. Spinning to the one stumbling now a couple of feet away. She jabs like a person holding a very long kitchen knife. Going clean through the forearm, dropping the sword. Every move flowing into the next, no energy wasted like water.
Smiling at the remaining man she switched her grip to sword pointing up then moved to the man like lightning. Blocking his jab she spun around standing behind him, sword at his neck a small trail of blood coming down his neck. "Drop it." She spoke in his ear. As he dropped the blade she turned to me saying. "Captain what say you?"
I smile at her. "Very professional, and fluid. I would say that I may, or may not like what they answer. However if they lie to me we will have a lot of blood to clean up after you take their heads." As all three go pale I continue. "I can hear your heart beat so unless you have learned to control it I suggest you don't lie. If you don't lie I will destroy your mast and leave you here with enough food and water to get you to shore paddling. Otherwise I will have a lot more mess to clean up and understand. Oh move your blade away enough so he can talk please Kuina."
Smiling I say. "Let's start easy, shall we? Is Buggy in Orange Town?" (Yes.) I continue. "See, it was not so hard was it. Does he have prisoners?" (No. The town is deserted.) Rubbing my chin I thought for a moment, then asked. "How long have you been there?" He hesitates, I look at Kuina. As her blade gets closer I hear. (Ok. OK. A few days and he hasn't finished raiding the town so we can't destroy it yet.) Glaring at him I walked up to his face. "What do you mean (destroy it yet)." As my eyes turned to that of an eagle, fathers appeared in my hair, and claws coming out." Nami comes over and takes my hand avoiding the claws. calming me down, the feathers recede but the eyes remain. He gulped then answered. "Buggy wanted to make a name for himself so he decided on raiding a town then reduced all the buildings to rubble to show how powerful he is."
Rubbing my temples I tell Kuina. "He answered my questions without lying. A deal is a deal. Zoro after Nami retrieves all the treasure and weapons minus medical supplies and food, also destroy the mast." Glaring at the remaining as Nami jumps on their boat. "Pray we never meet again because." Taking a deep breath. "I will remember your scent to the day I die. If I happen to meet you for any reason I will end you. One. by. one." Looking at each one in turn.
As Nami came back taping her new pouch with a smile on her face. I look at Zoro who walked onto their boat and drew Kazeshini. With one swing he cuts cleanly through their mast as it falls in the water they all go pale. Laying my hand on the only undamaged one's shoulder. "You picked the wrong boat to rob. Didn't you." Shoving him forward. As they scurry onto the boat I think. "You know this isn't a big enough difficulty for fine sailors like you." Drowning Inazuma I shoot three holes in the bottom of the boat. "Have fun baleing water."
Willing our boat faster to town we travel 3 times faster than we were before. Everyone looks at me still with eagle eyes. "Harmless,'' he said. Not so much trouble, he said. When I get a hold of him again I will give him a piece of my mind." Nami spoke up. "I thought you hadn't met Buggy?" I looked at her confused and said. "Who is talking about Buggy? I mean Shanks." Looking back at the sea. Nami laughed and the other two looked wide eyed.
[Time skip]
[Luffy's POV]
As we docked I got off looking at a ship that looked more likea traveling circus than a pirate ship. As Nami started walking towards the ship I took a deep breath then said. "They moved the treasure inland Nami." She gave me a questioning look then asked. "How can you tell?" I smile at her and say. "Mom told me when I turned 12 that. Where she is from there are many Griffin's. Some give riddles, others pranksters, hoarders of treasure, and some love savage destruction. While all of these are traits are present there leaders hold true to the traits of noble defenders of honor." Looking inland I continue. "I barely smell any treasure on the boat. If you find any it is a individual pirates private stash, almost nothing." Walking into town the others follow.
In the distance I hear a lot of commotion about 10 blocks away. On the left side of the street I see a dog sitting in front of a store. Walking up he growled at me. I stared at him and he started to back down then he looked at his store at me the store then growled again. Smiling, I laughed. "Shishishi, you win. You win. I won't touch it." It calmed down. "You really got a set on you little fellow. I admire that, I really do. So protecting your old masters place. He would have been proud of you. But remember he would want you to live first." (Garr) "I am not disrespecting his memory. Just saying it as it is."
Nami walked up. "Can I pet him?" As the dog relaxed Nami began petting him. A man walked out of the alleyway saying. "Since Chouchou trusted you I will also. I am the mayor of this town. My name is Boodle. Are you bounty hunters?" As he is smiling at us I tell him. "No, we are pirates. However we are what I consider to be good pirates." As the mayor looked at me confused I said. "Shure I kill, but not for fun (mostly) , and never innocent people or children. I go where I want, do what I want and help people who need it. I am free from what others tell me to do no rules."
As I say this I hear a big lion running towards us 2 streets over. Boodle hid in an alley. The rest of us stay where we are. A man is sitting on top of the lion. "Well, well, well. Look what we have here. Me and my great beast were just going to get him some food and we stumbled onto week pirates robbing us." The four of us looked at one another and burst out laughing. Nami has her hands on her knees, hardly able to stand. He said again. "What are you laughing at? Richie is the most powerful animal around here I should know because I am the great Beast tamer Mohji!" Now Zoro, Kuina, and myself have our hands on our knees while Nami falls on her back.
Wiping a tear from my eye I look at him. "Thanks I needed that. I have been so stressed lately." Mohji looked like a teapot boiling over, but Richie kept staring at the store. (Roar) Mohji asked. "Now you want to eat now? in the middle of a challenge? Oh well we can deal with them later. Have fun." I look up with my eyes while still head down standing straighter up I say. "I wouldn't touch that store." Nami and the rest back up from me because of my tone.
As the lion drew its paw back to strike. I changed into my full form hitting his paw away with mine. He draws back and gives a loud roar. (ROAR) not impressed I give a screech throwing my wings out. (SCREECH) As windows break on the block I lashed out with my left paw slashing Richie's face and throwing him into a building on the other side of the street. From the impact of the hit Mohji is knocked off and falls into a yellow puddle where Richie just was. As he gets up looking around Richie's bloody face Mohji exclaimed. "How dare you attack Richie. I don't care how big you are, you will be sorry."
We hear a small wine from Richie. I yelled "Shut your whining I let you keep your eye. At least act like a king and stop whimpering." He kept quiet after that. I put my paw on Mohji forcing him down on his back in the puddle. "So you are the famous best tamer. Able to tame anything." With my paw covering his body I released my two outside claws stabbing through the rock road at least a foot deep. My middle digit rolling in a slow circle over his face claw bearly extended. "I dare you to try. Please try to tame me." As he is shaking his head no I continue. "Make yourself scarce. If I see you again today I will kill you." Letting him up I change back and continue. "Alright next stop Buggy."
As the mayor walked up saying. "I can't believe you stood up to him. What did you change into?" I told him. "A Griffin. And next I am going after Buggy." Getting in his face I tell him. "I can handle Buggy. You can't. If you want to be here to help fix or rebuild your town I suggest you find a place safe for you and Chouchou." As he unlocked the store, he and Chouchou entered.
As we get closer to the town square the noise gets louder. We see a big tent at the other side of the square. 'Wow he does follow the theme.' Dropping the mist I yelled out. "Buggy the Clown! Get your big nose out here." As a few walked out then more A Clown with a big nose walked out saying. "Who dared insult MY NOSE?" As he looked out he saw the four of us, as he focused on me particularly. "Who do you think you are trying to fool? I know you are just another copy cat wannabe. So stop trying to impress. Though I am interested in how you got that screech out."
Smiling, I tell Buggy. "Actually I have a question? Shanks said your nose is real? So is that why you went with the Clown get-up to make people think your nose is fake?" Upon hearing this Buggy started screaming. "How dare he talk about my nose! He promised he would only tell his crew!" Then he looked very worried. I would believe he went pail if the makeup was not making it hard to tell. "H-h-how do you know Shanks again?" I told him. "He trained me in the new world."
As a Cannon is rolled out behind Buggy he got worried speaking up. "You know let's talk about this. H-how is red hair these days?" As more men come out I tell him. "He is doing good. Though I believe he will be disappointed in what you are doing in the East blue." One of Buggy's men walks up to him in a whisper. "The Buggy balls ready captain. Let show him not to mess with us." Buggy started to sweat looking at him repeated in a whisper. "I designed it to take out heavy hitters in the East Blue and Paradise. Not someone who is a monster from the New World." Looking at us he smiled, then turned back telling him. "We can only hope he doesn't want to fight, if he is who he appears to be."
I cleared my throat, gaining their attention. "I am afraid you are out of luck on that. I ran into a few of your men at sea. Something about after you pillage the town you destroy it to make a name for yourself." The men yelled out while Buggy looked worried. "Fire the Buggy ball! We will let them know what happens to people who disrespect Buggy!"
As they are about to light the cannon with a touch. I drew Undertow sending a wind blade at the cannon. As some men dive for cover the blade cuts through the cannon, the tent, and the building behind had a noticeable cracked front wall. Just then the ball explodes, damaging his men. Zoro and Kuina yelled in unison. "What the hell was that?" I tell them. "A wind blade." Sheathing Undertow. Zoro yells again. "You said you weren't a swordsman!" I look At the two. "I said it wasn't my main weapon. Not that I wasn't a swordsman." Kuina asked me. "Who trained you?" I put my finger on my chin. "Shanks. Though I have spared with Mihawk and another pirate I can't name because of a promise."
Zoro is about to blow his top. "You said you haven't fought Mihawk!" I raised an eyebrow. "I said I never went against him. Not that I haven't spared with him." As Zoro looked like he was going to pull out his hair, if it wasn't to short to get a grip. Kuina smiled at the thought of a worthy challenge, and Nami was covering her mouth laughing so hard. Just then the rubble moved revealing 3 pirates. Two fell revealing Buggy's hands floating in front of him. The 3rd pirate fell to the ground revealing someone on a unicycle moving back and forth to keep his balance.
He speaks to captain Buggy. "Let me get rid of them captain Buggy sir." Buggy thinks for a second. 'While he is the distraction I will make my move. Also I still believe he is faking it and just because he can do an air slice doesn't mean he can cut me after all.' "Very well Cabaji, have your fun." As Cabaji drew a sword and charged, Zoro and Kuina do their thing Zoro did scissors while Kuina did rock. As Cabaji lunged at me I stand still unmoving Kuina drew her sword and deflected the blade.
Standing between us she got a ready stance. Cabaji spoke up. "Get out of my way and I will let you live. You might even learn something." Kuina snorts shaking her head. "The only thing you can teach me is how to lose." I take notice of her posture and style. 'Mainly defense, interesting.' As Cabaji used his height of the unicycle as an advantage Kuina easily parried each attack. As he got in close he reached up and pulled down his scarf breathing fire. She ducked and rolled, but as Cabaji pursued her she slashed with a wide ark from Wado making him back off.
Nami asked me. "Is that a devil fruit?" I tell her. "No just a dirty trick." As I turn to Buggy I see him keeping a keen eye on things with his hands in his captain's coat. When Cabaji throws tops Kuina easily pares them with no effort. Seeing this Cabaji rolls up a building high into the air spinning with his sword below him. Motioning to Nami not to stand behind me at the start of the maneuver.
As Cabaji started to pick up speed. Buggy's hands shoot out with two knives in each hand between the fingers. Changing into my half form with a flap of my wings, and my talons in my feet to kick off I grabbed his hands in my hands squeezing hard but not enough to break his hands. (Aaaagggg) Switching them to one hand I threw the hands down like spiking a ball as I glare at Buggy falling to his knees. As they returned to him I glared over at him from halfway between him and Kuina. "Don't interfere with an honorable duel!" As his eyes go wide realizing I am the real deal.
(Aaaaahh) Turning to see Kuina standing over Cabaji with a cut on his right forearm and Wado going clean through his upper right thigh. Also his unicycle destroyed. As she drew Wado out he was clutching the wounded leg. "Dammit you diverted me from paying attention to center ring. Just like a Clown should do I suppose." I say while looking back at him.
Thinking I need to let him know he is not invincible I walked up extending my hand. I tower over most men at 6 ft 8 in in my half form, and looking big enough so Garp would now look like he would need to work out more to be compared to me.I say to him looking down. "Well Buggy let's discuss the terms of us captains fighting like civilized people. Right?" I know right now he is looking for anything to stall. So he would accept it easily.
He looked scared to death of me shaking my hand. As I let go I extended one claw a little, coating it in haki Scratching the palm of his hand. As he first glared at me and was about to yell then stopped. Feeling something warm and wet on his palm he jerks his hand to his face he realized his hand has a noticeable cut on his palm and bleeding. Looking at it wide eyed then at my claw, with only the one index claw black the rest barely visible tips yellow.
Holding my hand up I apologize. "Sorry about that sometimes it has a mind of its own. My bad." Still flipping my hand around back and forth I end the haki turning it back to normal color retracting it.
Lowering my hand as he is bug eyed sweating bullets I tell him in a serious tone. "You can take your men and leave this town in peace forever with no treasure and give up this insane idea of blowing up towns to make a name for yourself. finding some other way to make your mark. Or I will hold nothing back and there will be one less pirate captain and crew in the East Blue. If you do take the deal and accept the conditions, know this. If I ever, and I mean. Ever. Hear of you going back on this deal. I will stop everything I am doing and…" leaning down getting right in his face inches away. "Hunt you down. Then and there. Are we clear?" As he is shaking his head up and down very fast in fear I ask. "What is your answer?"
As some of his men are waking up while others have been awake and watching the events. Now seeing me looming over Buggy in my half form I can smell fear in the air. "We will leave." Seeing his men watching us with shocked faces he continued. "But k-know you have made an enemy of the Buggy pirates today. Men return to the ship leave the treasure."
Some of the men exclaimed. "What. No. We cannot. We transferred what was on the ship here for safety. Captain!" Buggy gave me a worried pleading look, while I was smirking at him I said in a whisper. "The price for pissing me off. I hit you where it hurts the most. Your treasure not your life. Don't pis me off again, or I may reconsider my approach."
As they rushed towards the docks picking up Cabaji as they went. I turn back to normal then pointing Nami to where the treasure is i say. "The treasure is there Nami make sure to leave some for the town." Looking at Kuina and Zoro Glaring at me. "We will divide the treasure evenly after we get a real pirate ship. It is just easier for now to transport in our bags." Thinking that was the reason but apparently I was wrong Zoro spoke up saying. "It's not the treasure that's got us upset. No more stalling we want our duel." Watching them both smile. "Ok ,but not in town there is an island not too far away we will go there."
As Nami comes out of a building saying. "I tried to leave anything that looked freshly acquired. And I left some extra to rebuild the town. I love this pouch." As Zoro and Kuina looked confused at me I told them. "Having enough treasure is hardly a concern for someone who can travel the sea floor. Nami and I have swam before though we couldn't travel far from the island before because we were 7. It also helps if you can smell or sense treasure." Taping my nose.
Then the mayor walked up exclaiming. "I can't believe you ran them off Mr Griffin. " I put my hand on his shoulder. "I would appreciate it if you keep quiet about me being here." As he looked about to complain I continued. "I am through training and starting a career away from Shanks. I have some things I really need to accomplish before going to the grand line. If the marines move in in force I might not get everything accomplished I need to do. This would endanger lives close to me." Letting him know lives are at stake before I add the icing. "Plus they might claim Buggy's treasure I left instead of letting it be used to fix the damage done, or claim the looted treasure already done to your townspeople."
As Boodle looked shocked then down at his feet. "What do you want me to do then?" Smiling at him I answer. "I can sense a lot of your townspeople running into town seeing the pirate ship leaving now. Let them run us off." He started to protest. "But…" I stopped him. "It is for the best. You can tell them the truth after the first news report I am on the grand line." As he stared at me people started to appear running in the distance towards us down the street.
Looking at the people then back at us he started yelling. "Get out of my town! I told them other pirates and I am telling you to!" As we started running I yelled back. "See you later. Old Man!" We are running towards the harbor when Chouchou runs up beside us. (Bark, bark) "Ok lead the way." As he leads us around a few buildings he stops turning around. (Bark, bark) "Your welcome, and thanks again for your help." As we run, Chouchou stops our pursuers except the mayor. (Grrrrrr) (Chouchou let us pass.) Villiers yelled. (GRRRRRR) (WOFF) (WOFF).
As we set sail the mayor waves goodbye. Nami sits down next to me. "You know Luffy. If you were here from the start Nojiko and I would have had the beli in three years. Hahahaha." I look at her. "Yea if Arlong didn't kill me straight out." Nami snickered then said. "Especially after you saved Otohime." As Zoro and Kuina looked confused, Nami continued. "Arlong was furious that a human saved the queen who is pushing peace with humans. He nearly destroyed a third of Arlong park in his tantrum. 10 Fishman left after that, not feeling the hate as strong. Unfortunately that only made Arlong hate humans more. So where to now captain?"
"I was planning on going straight to Syurop village. However I think these to will mutiny if I don't fight them first, so I guess we are going to the nearest island for a spar." Nami smiled and said. "Cool I want to try out my staff also. Pleaseee be my sparring partner."
Shaking my head. "Shishishi. Sure you don't have to ask.
[Time skip]
[Luffy's POV]
As we landed on the island I searched with haki finding just some animals. Walking to a cleaning we get ready. The two do their hands again and apparently Zoro won. As we get ready to fight I tell Zoro. "By the way, the sword was given to me by Shanks before I got Undertow as a birthday gift. It was my primary blade so treat it well." I say smiling at him.
Zoro places his new sword in his mouth, drawing his other two. I must admit it looks intimidating. As he attacked I counted with Undertow. He has a lot of power but my training has taught me how to redirect it easily. If I hadn't trained against Mihawk, and rightly I would find him a big challenge with 3 swords. I am enjoying myself. It is like fighting 3 experts at once.
As we fight Zoro pulls back, getting into a stance and yelling. "Anigerry!" As he lunged forward with all three swords at once I turned the flat side of my blade towards the attack to block. Zoro's attack stopped dead unable to advance. As he added all his weight i easily hold my ground. Then I tell him. "You will find not all opponents can be overcome with strength." Out of the corner of my eye I see Kuina smiling. Stepping to my right I rolled the blade letting his force cause him to stumble forward. Just before he regained balance I place my foot on his but applied a little force causing him to fall down. Kuina and Nami laughed as he regained his footing Glaring a hole through me.
As he held his hands in front of himself his right pointed up while his left down. He said with a smirk. "We will see who's laughing after this." He started to spin his swords in opposite directions then lunged yelling. "Three thousand worlds." As he did I counter with a hard slash, however at the last minute I twisted the angle of the blade to soften the blow. As we are on the other side of each other completing our movements, his right sword shatters and a slash appears on his chest.
As Zoro simply stands turning around and looking at me taking the sword out his mouth going two handed I tell Zoro. "If I hadn't turned my blade that cut would be much deeper , and both of your swords would be broken. You are an excellent swordsman, and it was a good training spar." As he still glared at me unmoving I continued. "I see your style, and techniques. I can help you if you let me. I would recommend you get better swords before attempting that move again against an equal or better blade."
Seeing him thinking it over I continued. "I didn't hold back on wounding you because it would be an insult, and I can heal it. If you wish I can leave the scars after we train, though I can't regrow limbs." Watching him smile and put his swords away, I also saw Kuina relax a little at hearing this. Zoro spoke next. "I thank you for the healing. I would like to keep the scars though, I do like how healing means we can be more intense in our training, and no down time for recovery." As he smiled at me we walked over to the stream. Out of the corner of my eye I see Kuina smiling as I heal him.
While healing Zoro I tell them the bad news. "Shanks had a rule I hated but learned it was for the best in the long run for my training. If anyone sustained a major injury dulling is over for that person for the rest of the day." As they both look at me angry I continue. "We can continue forms and go over what happened, but I learned if I don't let it sink in I will do it again and make the same mistake. The good news is a injury that would make a normal person quit training for a week, means only a day of contemplation before continuing."
When we leave the stream Kuina gets up and Zoro takes her spot beside Nami. Getting into position Kuina gave me a look of determination saying. "Don't hold back because I am a girl. Got it." Shaking my head I smirk back at her. 'Mihawk would like them both.' "Shishishi. I will give you the same treatment I gave him." Seeing she was waiting for me to attack, I started. Every jab, perry, overhead strike, or slash is deflected by both of us.
Quickly I find she favors defiance. When she can additionally add offense into the mix. Her movement was fluid, rather than break from to do a devastating move she would wait patiently for a move that conserves energy with less chance of recourse. After the first first two minutes she added elaborate footwork trying to get me off balance. Twisting and turning like a ballerina, with blades of course. After five minutes of fighting she pulled back taking a large number of very short breaths.
Smiling, I take my left hand and put it behind my back with one claw extended like a fencing pose and say. "You shouldn't hinder yourself." As I lunged forward to clash swords I saw her scowl turn into a triumphant smile. Jumping towards me she moved in close when our swords clashed she was almost against the hilt. Moving to her left pushing forward on my blade and slinging her blade hard trying to catch under where the blade juts out while sliding down the ricasso with Wado. As she does this I do two things: one I rotate the blade so she ends up harmlessly sliding down my blade. Second I spun around to reach her lower back with my claw then slid up Cutting her shirt and bindings to her upper back before I jumped back. (Ahhhhh!)
As Zoro starts to stand up Nami puts a hand on his arm. Kuina spun around her right hand holding Wado. Her left over her chest as she glared at me she yelled. "Pervert! What did you do that for? Want a show?" I look at her and in a calm voice I say. "No. I have seen bigger actually." Watching Nami grind her teeth I continue in a voice talking sternly to a teen. "You are hindering yourself! You can't breathe, and the discomfort is probably causing your form to be less fluid. I care nothing for you being a woman in battle." As she takes a step back I take a step towards her continuing. "However if you keep treating yourself with a hindrance to appear something other than who you are it will get you killed. Your technique is superb and your use of flowing motion will not be hindered by your breast." As she paused looking around as if debating something internally. I make a cocky dramatic pose with a smile. "Care to continue? My lady."
As she smiled, gaining her confidence back, she dropped covering her chest. Her shirt covering her was loose as she reached under grabbing the bindings throwing them to the side. Taking Wado in both hands I can tell she is easily a d-cup with them free. She attacked me this time we quickly got into the same pattern. After 15 minutes she is still fighting strong, no lack of breath. Noticing something off I activate observation to see what it is. 'Nothing. Wow that is impressive though it can take its toll.'
Changing tactics I became unorthodox using my legs to step behind her foot, tap the side of her leg stepping by, or switch sword hands. Within thirty seconds her pattern completely breaks down from overtaxing herself. As she gets distracted and unfocused I hit her sword to her right side spinning like a ballerina stepping behind her in a similar movement as to what she did with the pirates stepping behind her inches away from her body. My left hand on her shoulder. The back ridge of my sword by her right side as the blade curves nicely around her throat I say. "Yield?"
As she is breathing hard, and dizzy she answers. "Yes." As I let her go she stumbled over to Zoro who caught her helping her sit. I look at them both as Zoro comforts Kuina. I tell both of them. "Kuina I am impressed with how you went into a zen state. That is very effective especially against people dependent on haki, however if not ready for a long duration the mental strain it puts you under can be disorienting and leave you vulnerable. I take it that was your longest battle outside your master?" She looks at me cautiously answering. "Yes."
"Zoro you attack with force and strength to overwhelm an opponent with a massive one shot kill shot. You need stronger weapons if you're going to keep fighting like that. Also if someone has a superior defense they can redirect your attacks. Without losing a lot of energy. Which is probably why Kuina is great on defense against you." I tell them while watching her blushing as she is watching him while he is focusing on me.
Scratching my chin I think about the people who trained me. Coming to a decision I tell them. "I can try to train you if you like, but be warned I haven't ever trained someone. I also didn't use all I know . " As they glare at me I continue. "If I didn't hold back I wouldn't get time to evaluate you and your skills. I have never beaten Mihawk in a fair fight so I am not the greatest and won't claim to be. However I am very experienced and you both can benefit from this. Unless it is the leader or a large enough group I will leave the sword fighting to you two. For you to increase your skill. If that is ok I believe both of you have great potential and focus. Enough to eventually rival Mihawk."
Kuina spoke up after looking at Zoro as he nodded. "We would like that. Thanks for offering, and the spar. We would appreciate any advice you can give." Looking at them I tell them. "There are a lot of high level opponents on the grand line. Some can even cut steel with a common sword without haki from skills alone. Both of you are close to that level of control. The problem in teaching is you have to feel it inside, difficult to teach because for each person it is a little different for that person."
After everyone gets quiet Nami gets up and extends her staff. "I want to see what I can do with a non lethal battle with this thing." As she gets ready I do the same drowning Undertow. She looked happy but concerned as she said. "I am glad you are going to take this seriously?" I smile telling her. "Oh I am. I have seen first hand some of Hephaestus creations."
We were both staring when Nami attacked. At first they were normal but advanced staff forms then after a few minutes she sees she is getting nowhere. Changing it up putting distance between us out of range for her staff I thought was getting into position for another atack. However her staff attended on one end, the extension wasn't towards me throwing me off. The end away extended into the dirt launching Nami at me like a pole vaulter as she turned her stance into a propelled flying side kick I didn't expect. Hitting me in the gut I am forced back. Quickly retracting it into a 2 ft long she holds it between us spinning fast with both hands like a pinwheel. As I was hit with a gust of wind, I Crouched low, extended my claws on my feet and left hand digging into the dirt to keep from being blown away.
While being pushed back cutting lines in the dirt holding my ground I noticed she changed her stance into something to handle the recoil. 'So even though it isn't proportional, she still gets shoved back by that. Good to know.' As she stopped and smiled I sent a small wind blade at her. Knowing she's a daughter of a wind god so I hope she can defend against it. Swiping her staff sideways at the moment the blade would connect it turned to the side putting a small cut in a nearby tree. Looking at the tree then her staff tip still outstretched from the block she looked at me. Then with a grin swiped the staff like a sword at me. Seeing this I rushed straight at her to tackle, Sheathing my sword when I saw the shot would go wide.
As it rushed by me to my left I noticed it was more like an impact strike rather than a blade. 'Unskilled but still impressive for the first time. With training that would be deadly." Leaving herself open having put so much into the attack, and not expecting me to rush her I collided with her side getting her to drop the staff. As we rolled around I pinned her down leaning over her face less than a foot away from hers. Holding her forearms at each side of her body.
The next move surprises me as she quickly throws her face into mine in a passionate kiss. I quickly kissed her back. As my arms wrapped around her back I heard her through our communication. 'Yes take me.' I quickly rolled her over on top sliding my hands up and down her back. The smell of her arousal, and having held myself back for so long wanting my first to be her and now having her so close almost overwhelmed me. Sliding my hand down to her rear when I hear a throat cleared. 'Oh shit.' We both think in unison.
Looking over I see the two other crew members looking right at us. Zoro has his cocky grin, but what catches my eye is Kuina. Her nipples are stranded against her shirt rock hard with lust building in them. She is breathing hard, barely in control behind Zoro. Her eyes kept darting between the back of Zoro's head and me with a pleading look. Keeping my thoughts from Nami I think. ' Good she is torn, that means she loves him. I am glad she actually accepted that inside. But if I don't stop this right now her being this close she can't last long before she jumps one of us.' Looking at Nami I see her start to give into lust again thinking of her. 'Next time we won't have an audience.' I hear back. 'What? Next time?'
Calming down, focusing hard I jumped up stretched hard distracting everyone. I remember back when puberty hit and thought. 'I almost lost a good friend on Shanks crew because of my musk, and would have hurt Nami's feelings if I hadn't stopped myself from going too far with that girl. I won't do that again.' With everyone staring I answer. "Sorry I guess I got caught up in the moment." This seems to break Kuina out enough so when Zoro looked at her she was able to look embarrassed but not full of lust. Especially when Zoro noticed her chest and turned red looking away.
I look at Nami still looking ded at Kuina when I tell her. "Exceptional moves. You really caught me off guard that the staff is incredible." Zoro spoke up. "Was that a wind slice? And how did you learn it so easily?" Nami looked embarrassed so I said. "Nami's father is the God of the South wind, like my mother is the God of hurricanes. So it would come more naturally to her. It doesn't have to be a sword to create a wind blade. You can even create it with your feet if you have the skill."
Seeing the ladies getting control of themselves again I ask. "So do you want to camp here for the night, or the boat?" As everyone looked around they all spoke at once. "The boat."
As we set sail again to Usopp's village. I can't help but feel that my crew is closer now than before. Nami walked up, grabbed my hand and I heard. "Next time. We get a room to ourselves. No interruptions! I have waited too long for you already." As I smile at her I can't help but agree.
