Alright! On with it!
Who gets up at 5 a.m. in the morning you might ask. Izuku Midoriya used to be the answer. Now however, he was joined by his girlfriend Mina Ashido. Mina had recently told Izuku that she wanted to train with him, both to get stronger and to monitor him and tell him when enough is enough.
Ordinarily they'd wait until Eri woke up to make sure she'd be okay but since they all slept in the same bed. Once one got up, the others soon followed.
Eri had been much more active as of late, Mina made sure she got her daily dose of vitamin D by playing with her in the backyard. Afterwards, Izuku and Eri would practice video games to get on Mina's level.
It was a joyous time that mixed in with school and their classmates.
However, they still had to keep guard, the League of Villains could come for Eri at any moment. This kept Deku and Pinky on their toes at all times.
Shockingly though, there's been little to no news about the villains, since they appeared alongside the Yakuza group. It was relieving as much as it was stressful.
Currently the villains were couped up in yet another run-down building with barely enough funds to support themselves.
Toga looked out the window at the night sky, wondering how her Izuku was doing. She was half tempted to sneak out but remembered their current situation. If one of them is found, it could start a whole mess of trouble. However, she was getting hungry and instead of listening to reason, she snuck into town looking to aquire food while hidden.
While walking through an empty alleyway with only one light occasionally flickering from above. Toga carried her bags of stolen good for her and her friends until a sudden urge struck her. She took a moment to rest in the darkness and breathe. Lately, her hunger for blood had been increasing, it was odd but not uncommon. Problem was she knew that not many people lived around here.
"Hey there, little lady~" a shadowing figure asked her from behind a dumpster. "Where are you off to so late?~"
Toga got the best look at him that she could. A skinny, white male in black clothing who was currently concealing a weapon of some sort in his sleeves. She quickly dropped her bags and rushed the man with a concealed knife she had. The man then dodged her attack with surprising ease and continued to dodge an oncoming flurry from Toga.
Once Toga was a bit worn out he punched her in the gut perfectly, sending her back a few feet. The man then took off his hood and Toga understood now why he'd been so hard to hit. His eyes looked to by that of a fly's, he must have been able to see her from every angle. Trying to push away her raw blood lust she quickly thought up a plan as the attacker slowly got closer.
Toga stood under the light and quickly got an idea, just as the attacker rushed her, she aimed her knife and tilted it so the light got into his eyes. He was only blinded for a moment until he was luckily enough to dodge a slash from Toga. However, his eyes finally recovered at just the wrong moment... Toga had two knives. And the other slashed across his eyes before he could even react.
He tried to scream out in pain but Toga quickly put a hand over his mouth and delivered the final blow, silencing him for good.
"Don't blame me for what happened here, buddy. You were just in the wrong place at the wrong time." Toga licked her lips "But now. It's feeding time"
As the villain pounced on her prey, the peak of night was upon the city. Though villainy had currently been put in its place. It was far from snuffed out, in fact. It rose ever so steadily.
The next day at the Midoriya/Ashido household. The family of three had finally began the process of resting. It was a weekend after all.
Mina awoke first and poked Izuku chest "Midoooriiiiii..." She said lazily.
Izuku simply grunted in response to show he was awake
Mina chuckled lightly and pet his hair "Did ya still wanna train today? I'm way too tired to move right now. Whaddya say we rest eh?"
Izuku yawned "That should be fine... We could spend the day with Eri."
Mina looked between them, normally Eri slept between them but this time. She wasn't there. "W-Where is she?"
Both teens were silent before panicking, quickly getting dressed and nearly running down the stairs until they heard a light soft grunting sound. Both teens quietly peered over the railing to see Eri, still in her nightgown, performing kicks and punches to the side of the couch.
"Yah, hoo, heeya," Eri tried to mimic the fighting style of both Izuku and Mina at once.
Mina's normally round, golden iris's had turned into golden hearts as she was falling in love with the cuteness of Eri.
Meanwhile, Izuku was thinking about how interesting it was to fuse his and Mina's movesets.
Finally as soon as Eri stopped, she went to the kitchen and got herself some apple juice. Mina and Izuku kept stealthily following her to better understand what she was doing.
"Hmmm maybe I can make breakfast... I can make cereal for them!" Eri said proudly as she climbed on the countertop and got three bowls, all while Mina and Izuku fought everything in their bodies to rush to her and prevent her falling.
Eri did manage to get everything on the table set and was about to eat until she suddenly ran back to the living room. "I'll do one more before eating."
They watched as Eri stood next to the couch and took plenty of deep breaths. Mina and Izuku we're dumbfounded at what Eri could have been referring to.
Then they saw it. She leaned forward and did a somersault roll as she finally exhaled. "Yes! I'm getting better!"
Mina decided to reveal herself and walked into the living room "You sure are, cutie!"
Eri was surprised for a minute but quickly smiled and hugged Mina "Mommy! You're finally up!"
"Same here" Izuku said "Morning, Eri."
Eri smiled and hugged them both "Do you want cereal? I have the bowls out and everything!" She practically bounced with excitement.
"Of course, sweetie" Izuku smirked.
After a marshmallow filled breakfast and a stretch. Izuku went outside to enjoy the rising sun, that is until his phone went off. The contact name, Aizawa.
He quickly answered it "H-Hi, Mr Aizawa."
"It took you until the third ring to answer the phone. No more than two next time. Got it?" Aizawa stated coldly
Izuku sighed "Y-Yes sir"
"Good." Aizawa sighed "Now I have urgent news for you and I'm sorry to drop this one on you but Pro Hero Mandalay would like your assistance. Long-term assistance, that is."
Izuku was puzzled "Like?"
Meanwhile Eri and Mina were listening to pop songs in the house. Mina had come to realize that when Eri felt truly free, her singing voice was phenomenal. She was always so happy to see Eri without a care in the word. Almost like her life only started once Izuku saved her.
After a bit more singing though, Izuku came back inside. "Hey guys. Sorry to interrupt but it looks like we'll be having company over for a few weeks".
Mina tilted her head "A few weeks? Who is it?"
Izuku smiled "I'm not gonna spoil it for ya, but I'm sure you both will enjoy their company."
Eri pouted "I wanna know who it is..."
Izuku picked her up "Aww sorry, sweetie. Tell you what, why don't we take you to Grandma's today? Let's surprise her!"
Eri got excited "Yay!"
Mina raised an eyebrow "Don't we need permission from Aizawa first?"
Izuku nodded "I already asked. We just gotta be on guard at all times."
Mina smiled "Then what are we waiting for? Chop chop! Come on guys let's get ready!"
Eri ran up the stairs "Okay, Mommy!" Izuku went to get ready as well.
Once they were all ready they exited the house, locked up and walked side by side. Izuku and Mina would occasionally swing Eri much to her delight.
Jirou watched the family leave for the day and smiled to herself. "Wonder if I'll have a kid one day."
"That all depends on you." Jirou turned to see Tokoyami with a cup of tea. "Care to join me?"
Jirou shrugged "Why not."
They both sat down alone at the kitchen table. "So what's up?" Jirou asked.
"Nothing much. You?" Tokoyami replied as he took a sip of his tea.
Jirou rested her hand on her cheek "I dunno... I'm thinkin' about looking around for a boyfriend."
Tokoyami was a bit surprised but didn't show it "I see... Just be careful who you ask."
Jirou nodded "I know... I guess... I'm just feeling lonely..."
Tokoyami chuckled "You're not the only one. Love is contagious, once someone in the class starts it. It becomes a whole mess of people not wanting to feel alone."
Jirou sighed "This is just so weird... I need to put my focus on something else."
Tokoyami hummed for a minute "Isn't U.A.'s Culture Festival coming up soon? Why not think of things we can do for that?"
Jirou tilted her head "That's... Not a bad idea..." She stood up "Thanks, Tokoyami" she then ran up the stairs as Tokoyami smiled to himself.
"Good... She's feeling better..." He said to himself.
Fast forward to Izuku, Mina and Eri being on the train as Eri was looking at a card with her mommy's face on it. "Wooooaaaaah."
"You really like Mommy's train card huh?" Mina added.
Eri quickly nodded "I wanna get one someday too!"
Mina chuckled "I bet you will, sweetie~"
Izuku was looking outside at the scenery until he started seeing familiar landscapes. "Almost there, guys."
Eri stood on the seat and looked out the window "This looks so coooooool!"
Mina patted Eri's back and held her so she wouldn't fall "Careful, baby~"
Izuku and Mina shared a glance at each other and smiled. He then leaned in and gave her a light kiss.
Mina smiled wide "With people around huh? I'm glad you're getting bolder."
"I have you to thank for that" Izuku acknowledged, making Mina smile.
After getting off the train, Mina and Eri drank in the sights of Izuku's hometown, while he guided them through the area.
"There it is." Izuku said getting their attention. Mina and Eri looked at the apartment building before following Izuku to the specific door.
"Wow, your house is big!" Eri noted.
Mina giggled "Actually Eri, it's a lot of little apartments. Kinda like the dorms at school except these places have doors on the outside so you don't bug the neighbors."
Eri nodded "Ohhh okay."
Izuku chuckled "Also, you were here two weeks ago. Don't you remember?"
Eri thought about for a moment before the lightbulb turned on in her head "Oh yeah! I remember now!"
Izuku knocked on his mom's door three times.
"Just a moment!" He heard his mom yell.
Once Inko opened the door her face went from a look of happiness to one of shock and fear. Izuku was a bit taken aback at the moment though because his mother had lost a decent amount of weight since she saw him. Which was only two weeks ago!
"I-Izuku! Mina, Eri. H-How are all of you" Inko stuttered out nervously.
Izuku was baffled by his mother's unusual demeanor "We're fine. Are you?"
Eri hugged Inko's legs "Hi, Grandma!"
Inko hugged her back "Hello, Eri."
"Mind if we come in?" Izuku asked.
Inko blushed "Um... One sec!" She quickly separated from Eri's hug and shut the door as she started doing something inside.
After taking a full two minutes, she opened the door again. "Okay, Welcome!"
Izuku and Mina were immediately put on notice by Inko's behavior.
They walked in and everything seemed normal at first, but a certain scent caught Izuku off guard "What's that smell?"
"Oh, it's probably the trash! I'll take it out right-" Inko was cut off.
"It's not the trash." Izuku marched toward the bedrooms where the scent increased. Finally he reached his mother's room, where it was the strongest. "... Who's here, mom..."
Inko looked like she was on the verge of tears. "N-Now, Izuku, baby, please don't be mad but-" Once again she was cut off but this time it was by Izuku kicking in the door and breaking the lock. This in turn frightened Eri as she gripped Mina tightly. Mina had half a mind to snap at Izuku if she didn't fear him like Eri did right now.
"Who's here?!" Izuku yelled into his mother's room.
No one answered. He looked under the bed, behind the furniture... Only one spot left, the closet.
Izuku grabbed the sliding door.
"Please stop, Izuku!" Inko yelled
Izuku paid her no mind and flung the door open. ... Nothing
Inko sighed "See? Nothing."
Izuku nodded "Yep ... Nothing" Just as he was about to walk away though he flung the sliding doors in the other direction. "Ah HA! Got... You... What?!"
"... Hello, Young Midoriya..."
