Hello, fellow Net Ops. Centurion Maximo here and after a long time, welcome back to Rwby: NT Warrior! It took a long while, but Mobian and I are finally back with this story and we deeply apologize for that. This is the second part of the eleventh chapter. In the last part, we met Jurassic Man, Funhouse Woman, Default Man and their Net Ops, two of them Blake knows personally.
Now, let's jack in and power up!
Inside Vale National Amusement Park, Teams RWBY and Team JNPR were in the middle of battling a group of mercenaries that were working for WorldIII. Both teams found out that Blake and her Netnavi Neko Woman somehow knew two of the mercenaries and their Netnavis. Blake had tears running down her face. "Blake, it's gonna be ok." Yang tried to reassure her partner.
"How is everything going to be ok? I just found out two of my closest friends and two people I look up to as older siblings are working for WorldIII!" Blake shouted in anger when suddenly Blake felt an arm on her shoulder. Blake looked to see Ruby's hand on her shoulder.
"Blake, I know this is emotional for you, but I need to know if you're going to be capable of fighting them or not because you're the only one who knows their fighting styles and weaknesses." Blake looked at Ruby and everyone else came to a realization that her team and friends needed her at this moment. So, she wiped her tears from her face and got ready for the net battle but before she could do anything Ruby gave her a hug. "I'm really sorry, Blake."
"Thank you, Ruby." Blake smiled at her team leader as she looked at her PET. "Neko Woman, we need to treat Jurassic Man and Funhouse Woman as any other WorldIII agent. Our friends and Team need us to help take them down."
"I understand, Blake." Neko Woman got ready to fight her former friends.
"Neko Woman, can you tell us anything useful about them?" Snow Woman asked.
"Jurassic Man is brute strength and power. He has two mode changes. The first is a heavy armor Triceratops and a Pterodactyl which is his speed form but light on armor. Funhouse Woman is speed and defence. Funhouse Woman's mirror can create a barrier that can reflect a Netnavi's attack back at them, but she lacks physical strength. They basically cover for each other's weaknesses."
"What about the other Netnavi, any insight on him?" Squire Man asked.
"Don't worry about him. Like I said earlier, you will be dealing with us." Jurassic Man said.
"Fossil Wall! Battle Chip! Download!" Blues shouted.
Jurassic Man places his hand on the ground and a wall made out of fossils rose out of the ground which separated them from Ninja Woman, Samurai Woman and Geisha Girl. "There now we can focus on these eight and Default Man can prove himself by dealing with the other three. Now who's going to get deleted first?" Jurassic Man taunt.
"It's gonna be fun knocking you down a few pegs. Dragon Fire!" Dragon Woman shot a torrent of flames out her mouth. The flames headed straight towards Jurassic Man but a mirror appeared just in front of him and absorbed the fire attack. As soon as the mirror appeared, it vanished without a trace.
After the mirror disappeared, Neko Woman was looking for something. "Where are you going to place the mirror, Funhouse Woman?" Neko Woman thought to herself when suddenly the mirror reappeared behind Snow Woman. "Snow Woman! Behind you!" Snow Woman looked behind her right when the mirror shot out the Dragon Fire at her which hit her, causing her to scream in pain.
"Dragon Woman, how could you attack your own friend like that?" Funhouse Woman snickered.
"I didn't attack Snow Woman, you did!" Dragon Woman pointed her finger in anger.
"You're quite wrong, Dragon Woman. Your attack hurt your friend. All Funny did was redirect it to somewhere else!" Jurassic Man stated. "Jurassic Meteor!" A meteor shot from the sky above him. As the meteor came closer, a barrier formed around JNPR and RWBY's Netnavis. The Meteor hit and shattered the barrier.
Then after that, the eight Netnavis split into groups of four. Fairytale Woman, Neko Woman, Lotus, and Snow Woman went after Jurassic Man while Squire Man, Magnet Woman, Shock Woman. and Dragon Woman went after Funhouse Woman. They had split up into teams designed to maximize damage to their opponents.
"Sword! Battle Chip! Download!" Ruby shouted.
" Red Earth! Battle Chip! Download!" Blake yelled out!
"Meteor Hammer! Battle chip! Download!" Ren called out.
"Blackness! Battle Chip! Download!" Weiss screamed .
"You're not only one that can use a chip. Stone Sword! Battle Chip! Download!" Blues roared.
A stone sword appeared in Jurassic Man's hand. He swung the Stone blade at the closest Netnavi which was Fairytale Woman who dodged under the blade and slashed Jurassic Man's side. Lotus threw the meteor hammer and hit Jurassic Man in the chest. Before Jurassic Man could swing his sword again, Neko Woman broke the Stone sword with her wrist claw blade. Snowflake delivered a flurry of kicks that slashed Jurassic Man because of the blades on her shoes.
"You may be fast, but let's see how you handle this! Mode Change!" A bright light covered Jurassic Man's body. When the light died down, Jurassic Man changed into an anthropomorphic Triceratops. "Jurassic Earthquake!" Jurassic man stomped the ground which created an earthquake that caused them to lose their balance, but they quickly got back on their feet.
Funhouse Woman wasn't making it easy for Squire Man, Magnet Woman, Shock Woman, and Dragon Woman. She would create a barrier or use her speed to dodge their attacks. But not once did Funhouse Woman go on the offensive and instead, she would let her opponents do all the work. "Have you noticed that Funhouse Woman hasn't attacked us one time since we began this fight. She either blocks or dodges our attacks." Squire Man stated to his friends.
"Blake did say that Funhouse Woman focuses on defense over offense." Dragon Woman pointed out.
"Yes, but her Net Op could have given Funhouse Woman a battle chip to use by now." Magnet Woman pondered.
"What? You think she's toying with us?" Shock Woman asked.
That got Yang and Dragon Woman both angry. "Do you think this is a game?!" Dragon Woman asked. Funhouse Woman just smirk at them. This caused Dragon Woman to charge at Funhouse Woman in a blind rage. Yang downloaded a fire sword battle fire sword appeared in her right hand. She swung the fire blade at Funhouse Woman. "Mirror Barrier!" A barrier made out of mirrors surrounded Funhouse Woman, and the blade bounce off it.
"I think our friend could use a time out." Skylar smirked. "Party Streamer! Battle Chip! Download!"
Funhouse Woman's barrier disappeared and she shot party streamers from her hand which tied up Dragon Woman. While Funhouse Woman's focus was on Dragon Woman, she didn't notice the other three Netnavis hands changing into cannons and firing at her. The blasts hit Funhouse Woman on the back which caused her to scream.
Jurassic Man heard Funhouse Woman's screams. Jurassic tried to head toward his sister's location, but he got blocked by Fairytale Woman and Snow Woman. "If you won't get out of my way, then I'll move you! Mode Change!" Jurassic Man changed into an anthropomorphic pterodactyl. Jurassic Hurricane!" Jurassic Man flapped his wings which created a hurricane and sucked up both Fairytale Woman and Snow Woman.
"Mini Bomb! Battle Chip! Download!" Blake shouted.
"Vulcan! Battle Chip! Download!" Ren yelled.
A mini bomb appeared in Neko Woman's hand which she threw while Lotus's hand changed into a Vulcan, he fired the Vulcan as well. The Mini bomb and Vulcan rounds hit Jurassic Man in the back at the same time. That caused him to stop his attack on Fairytale Woman and Snow Woman. Fairytale Woman slash the stunned Jurassic Man with the Fairy Scythe and Snow Woman hit him with the frozen wind of the Snow Whirlwind. The combined attack knocked Jurassic Man into Funhouse Woman.
Both Jurassic Man and Funhouse Woman got up and dusted themselves off. "I must say you got a lot stronger, Neko Woman." Jurassic Man complimented
"Your team and friends work quite well together, but now that we've seen your skills, I'm afraid playtime is over. Skylar, it's time for the gear chips!" Funhouse Woman screamed. RWBY and JNPR's Netnavis looked confused about what this gear chip was.
Blues let out a whistle. "I didn't think we would pull out these chips so soon, but we're on the clock. Speed Gear! Battle Chip! Download!"
"This is going to end quickly." Skylar said. "Power Gear! Battle Chip! Download!"
A gear appeared on both WorldIII mercenaries' arms. Jurassic Man was covered in a blue aura and Funhouse Woman was covered in a red aura. Before anyone could do anything, Jurassic Man vanished in a blink of an eye. He reappeared in front of Fairytale Woman and Snow Woman, delivering rapid punches to them. He did multiple kicks to Neko Woman and Lotus about the time Snow Woman and Fairytale Woman hit the ground.
Funhouse Woman delivered a punch to Squire Man who blocked it with his shield but the force knocked him backward. She clapped her hands together which created a shockwave that slammed Magnet Woman into Squire Man. The whole time Dragon Woman was struggling to get out of the party streamers. Dragon Woman looked at Jurassic Man and Funhouse Woman. "How can you do this to Neko Woman and Blake, they looked up to the both of you like older siblings!"
"Life isn't fair! One moment you're training to be a hunter and huntress at the best school! The next you are being framed for crimes you didn't commit and getting expelled for it, then you get blacklisted from all tournaments which limits you to illegal tournaments!" Funhouse Woman shrieked in anger.
"After winning a handful of those underground tournaments, someone offers you a chance to live your dream, but at the price of becoming mercenaries. You learn how cold Remnant really is. That lien makes the world go around." Jurassic Man said.
At that moment. a fiery aura covered both Yang and Dragon Woman. Yang's eyes turned red and Dragon Woman's eyes turned lilac. "I won't forgive you for hurting Blake, Neko Woman or my sisters and our friends!" Dragon Woman's voice was a mix between her voice and Yang's voice. Dragon Woman broke the party streamers and got up. Jurassic Man rolled his eyes. He sped at Dragon Woman and launched a storm of punches, but Dragon Woman grabbed his hand. Jurassic Man was in shock that someone caught him. Funhouse Woman tried delivering a punch to Dragon Woman's backside when Dragon Woman's tail smacked Funhouse Woman and sent her flying. Yang and Dragon Woman let out a roar that rivalled a Grimm virus.
On the other side of the fossil wall, Samurai Woman, Ninja Woman, and Geisha Girl were facing Default Man. "He looks like a basic mass-produced Netnavi." Samurai Woman said in an over confident tone.
"Don't underestimate him because of appearance. This Netnavi is a member of WorldIII, so don't let your guard down." Ninja Woman was watching Default Man carefully.
"Then allow me to make the first Cyclone!" Geisha Girl started spinning her umbrella which created a cyclone. The wind started heading toward Default Man. "Deep Dive!" Default Man sunk into the ground to dodge Geisha Girl's attack. "Where did he go?" All three Netnavis were unaware that Default Man was coming right out of the ground behind Ninja Woman. He was about to grab her, but Samurai Woman saw Default Man out of the corner of her eye.
"Look out, Ninja Woman!" Samurai Woman shouted. Ninja Woman tried to move out of the way but Default Man grabbed her shoulder. "Thunder Cutter!" Samurai Woman's katana released electricity. The electricity headed toward him. Ninja Woman disappeared in a cloud of smoke. "Color Catcher!" His right hand turned into a bucket, caught the Thunder Cutter and changed into the same color as Samurai Woman.
"Now let's finish the job. Copied Courage!" Default Man grabbed Samurai Woman. Then they both fell to the ground with Samurai Woman on top, but once they got up, there were two Samurai Woman. Geisha Girl and Ninja Woman couldn't tell them apart.
"Ninja Woman, which one is the real Samurai Woman?" Geisha Girl asked. She had her umbrella pointed at both of them.
"I'm not sure either. The disguise is flawless. I can't tell them apart." Ninja Woman was trying to find any flaws in either one's appearance.
"I'm the real Samurai Woman." They both said. "Stop copying me!"
"Gatara, which one is the real Samurai Woman!?" Kasumi asked.
" I don't know? I can't get Samurai Woman to listen to me." Gatara said while looking at her Pet.
"I got an idea. Gatara, give Samurai Woman a battle chip. This Netnavi probably copied Samurai Woman's ability, but he can't copy the battle chips you send to Samurai Woman." Makoto informed her teammates.
"That's brilliant, Makoto!" Gatara said in excitement. "Long Sword! Battle Chip! Download!"
The Samurai Woman on the left a long sword appeared in her hands. She slashed the other Samurai Woman and sent the imposter back a little bit. "So you figured out a way to tell us apart, but I copied more than your friend's appearance. "Thunder Cutter!" Default Samurai Woman's katana released electricity. The electricity hit Geisha Girl which caused her to scream.
"Geisha, are you ok?!" Samurai Woman asked with worry and guilt lacing her voice.
"I'm fine, Samurai Woman." Geisha Girl could see the guilt in Samurai Woman's eyes. "You didn't attack me. It was that imposter who did the attacking. Now, let's deal with the fake!"
"Right. Geisha Girl, thank you. Since this Netnavi copied my appearance and my abilities. Then it has my weakness as well. A wood element chip should knock this imposter down a few pegs." Samurai Woman informed.
"Bamboo sword! Battle Chip! Download!" Gatara shouted.
"Leaf Storm! Battle Chip! Download!" Kasumi called out.
"Vine Whip! Battle Chip! Download!" Makoto yelled.
A bamboo sword appeared in Samurai Woman's hand. A whip made from a vine materialized in Ninja Woman's hand. Samurai Woman slashed Default Samurai Woman. Default Samurai Woman tried to retaliate, but Ninja Woman's vine whip grabbed hold of her arm. Geisha Girl pointed her hand in which multiple leaves appeared and hit Default Samurai Woman in the legs. That changed Default Man back to normal.
"That it! Crashing Craters!" At that moment, Default Man grew to giant size. He slammed his foot on the ground which created a shockwave and knocked over Geisha Girl, Ninja Woman, and Samurai Woman. He reached down to grab them, but a barrier formed over them. Default Man started to repeatedly slam his fists into the barrier trying to break it.
Ninja Woman was concentrating on keeping the barrier up. "I'm not sure how long I can keep this up." Ninja Woman began to drop to her knees and cracks started to form, as the giant fist kept on pounding away at it. Samurai Woman's hand changed into a cannon while a mini bomb materialized in Geisha Girl's hand. When the barrier broke, Geisha Girl threw the mini bomb at the giant hand. The Mini bomb exploded right when it touched Default Man's giant hand which caused him to pull it back. Samurai Woman fired the cannon. The blast hit Default Man in the eye. "That hurt!" Default Man covered his eye with his hand.
Default Man was furious. He was about ready to slam his foot into the ground again when something broke through the Fossil Wall and collided with Default Man. He saw it was Jurassic Man and Funhouse Woman that hit him. Both Jurassic Man and Funhouse Woman got off Default Man. Dragon Woman broke another part of the Fossil Wall which caused it to be deleted. She was heading toward the WorldIII Mercenary Netnavis.
Default Man threw a punch at Dragon Woman. Dragon Woman caught Default Man's fist. Default Man was struggling to free his hand from Dragon Woman's grip. Dragon Fire! Dragon Woman released an inferno of fire. The flame covered his body and the pain was intense. Jurassic Man tackled Dragon Woman while Funhouse Woman delivered an uppercut to her mouth. The combined attack forced Dragon Woman to let go of Default Man, but she didn't budge from the spot at all.
"Brother, our five minutes are almost up and you know what that means!" Funhouse Woman exclaimed.
It means they would overheat soon and be incapable of using battle chips until they cooled down. Jurassic Man let out a sigh and looked at Default Man. "Hey kid, how long can you keep up that giant form?"
"Not much longer. I wasted a couple of minutes destroying that barrier." Default Man finally put the fire covering his body out.
"I think it's time to retreat!" Jurassic Man announced to his sister and Default Man. Funhouse Woman agreed with him, but Default Man wanted to continue the fight. "There's a time to cut your losses and this one of them."
Default Man was about to argue when his Net Op talked to him. "Alright, I see your point." Default Man said in annoyance.
"Jurassic Man logging out."
"Funhouse Woman logging out."
"Default Man logging out."
After the WorldIII Mercenary Netnavis logged out, Dragon Woman let out a roar. "Ruby, this isn't good. She's gone berserker again. We need the Juggernaut Restraint chip." Fairytale Woman was worried about her big sister.
"I know, Fairytale Woman and I hoped we would never have to use it." Ruby opened her case that held all her battle chips in it and opened a secret compartment that held a special battle chip, one she had swore never to use but in a situation like this. "Ok Yang, I'll keep my promise to you. Juggernaut Restraint! Battle Chip! Download!"
Fairytale Woman dodged Dragon Woman's punch. After the punch, a big bulky armband with chains connected between them were placed on Dragon Woman's arms. Fairytale Woman placed more braces on her wings and shackles on her legs. Even her tail was unable to move and couldn't breathe fire because a muzzle covered her mouth.
"Fairytale Woman, why did you put restraints on Dragon Woman?" Neko Woman asked the question everyone else was thinking.
"I'll explain later, but I need you to help calm down Dragon Woman before anything else happens." Fairytale Woman and Neko Woman stood in front of the confined Dragon Woman. "Hey sis, I'm okay. Neko Woman and our friends are safe. Isn't that right, Neko Woman?" Fairytale Woman turned to look at Neko Woman, who was staring at the thrashing Dragon Woman.
Neko Woman heard what Fairytale Woman said to her. "Thank you for wanting to protect me from my former friends, but I need you to return to normal. Now, we need our fun loving Dragon Woman to come back to us."
While this was going on, a similar scene was happening in Vale National Amusement Park. Blake watched as Yang was struggling with invisible restraints on her body. "Ruby, What's wrong with Yang?!" Everyone had the same question.
"It would be better explained when Yang is back to her old self." Ruby gave Yang a big hug. "Yang, please come back to me. I'm safe and you're worrying our friends." Yang was still acting the same way. "That usually works. What's different this time?" Ruby looked around until she landed on Blake. "Of course! Blake. Yang needs to hear you're ok because you were hurt more than anyone else."
Blake walked up to Yang. "Yang, I'm not going to lie and say I'm not hurt because I am hurt, but right now I need my bad joke telling partner back to normal. No, I need my cousin back. Please, Yang, come back to us." Blake had tears forming in her eyes.
Yang's eyes turned back to her normal lilac color. "Blake, why are you crying and why is Ruby hugging me?" She looked at her friends faces and saw the worried looks they were giving her. "It happened again." Yang put her head down in shame. On her PET, Dragon Woman was doing the same thing.
In another part of Vale, far away from the Vale National Amusement Park, a blue car just pulled over. Red got out of the back seat. The front window rolled down and Skylar popped her head out the window. "Kid, you did well today, even though things didn't go as planned. We'll put in a good word for you with the boss." Then she handed Red a chip with the WorldIII logo on it. Red looked at the chip and saw the WorldIII logo on it.
"What's this chip for?" Red asked.
"That chip is your ticket into WorldIII. It will give you the location of WorldIII's dark website and when plugged into your PET, it will give you information on your missions. Since we have handed you this, it will mark you as a mercenary and not a member. So only expect to get missions randomly, but you are expected to be at the WorldIII meetings. Don't lose this chip because if you do, you will be hunted down." Blues said in a threatening tone. After that, they drove off.
Hello, everyone. Mobian and I hope you all liked the second part of this chapter of Rwby: NT Warrior. This is the first two-parter of this story. Jurassic Man, Funhouse Woman, and Default gave their opponents a run for their money. Jurassic Man and Funhouse Woman also marked the debut of the Gear Chips. Not only, both Yang and Dragon Woman went berserk on them and it took Ruby, Blake, and their respective Netnavis calm them down. Finally, Default Man's Net Op gets and WorldIII chip, officially making him a mercenary.
