Hello, fellow Net Ops. Centurion Maximo and Mobian finally back with another chapter of Rwby: NT Warrior. Now, in the last chapter, Yang and Dragon Woman went berserk, shocking everyone there. Not only that, Blake fought two people from her youth and partially broke down to tears.
Now, jack in! Power up!
Both teams RWBY and JNPR had made it back from their trip to the Vale National Amusement Park where they ran into three WorldIII Mercenaries, but the two of them were dear friends of Blake. They entered team RWBY's dorm room where Yang, without saying a word climbed up to her bed and just lay there. Normally, Yang was a ball of sunshine and happiness. At the moment though, she was depressed. The only other person whose mood was as bad as Yang or worse was Blake who sat on her bed with a book opened and tossed it without a care if the book got damaged.
Ruby was looking between Yang and Blake, unsure who to give comfort too first. Suddenly, Weiss sat down on Blake's bed. Blake grabbed Weiss by the shoulder and began to cry. Ruby went up to sit with Yang. Nora got impatient with the whole thing and blurted out her question. "Why did Blake call Yang her cousin?"
That was not the question that anyone was expecting to be asked. It even shocked the members of team RWBY. "Our mothers knew each other since they were our age and each one made the other Godmother of their children. We haven't seen each other since we were really really little and just rediscovered this information during a family dinner at Aunt Summer and Uncle Tai's place." Weiss answered.
"Um, excuse me, I'm very sorry for interrupting, but I think we are getting off topic." Pyrrha said in an apologetic tone. "Yang, What happened to you?"
Yang looked at Pyrrha, Jaune , Ren and Nora. "Do any of you know what Synchronization is? I know Ruby does and Weiss and Blake are familiar because of our cousins the Malachite twins."
Weiss and Blake let out a simultaneous gasp. "Yang, are you saying you and Dragon Woman are capable of synchronization?" Weiss asked.
"When Melanie and Miltia did it with their Netnavis, they were in complete control of it." Blake stated.
"Woah , Woah , slow down. Sync, what?" Jaune asked in confusion.
"Jaune, I'm just as confused as you are. Renny, do you know what they are talking about?" Nora asked.
"I remembered that my Father talked about it before, but I'm afraid that I'm drawing a blank at the moment." Ren folded his arms against his chest and tried to remember what he had heard about it.
"Synchronization is the idea of Net Op and Netnavi becoming one in body and mind. With this ability, there's no delay between command and action because they're one. It even raises a Netnavi's combat abilities, but there's a downside to it. Whatever damage the Netnavi takes, the Net Op also gets it. Only a handful of people can do it. The main reason for only a few who're capable of doing this is because it takes lots of concentration and Both of them need to be one hundred percent compatible with each other." Pyrrha said.
"That's right, Pyrrha." Fairytale Woman said.
"You mentioned this has happened before?" Lotus asked.
"Yang, can I tell them?" Dragon Women asked in a whisper.
Yang looked at her PET and Dragon Woman looked nervously. "It's our story and you can tell it if you want to."
"It all started on the best day of my life. The day I got my little sister." Dragon Woman remembered that day like it was yesterday.
Flashback
A ten year old Yang came into the house after spending time with her friends. She had her blond hair in pigtails. She was wearing a yellow t-shirt with a heart made out of fire on it , an orange bandana was around her neck, black shorts and sneakers. "Yang!" A red Blur tackled her to the ground.
"Rubes, what's got you all excited?" Yang watched her little sister bounce up and down. Ruby was wearing a red hoodie sweatshirt, and black skirt. What caught Yang's attention was a PET in Ruby's left hand. "Ruby, you know mom doesn't want you touching a PET until you're ten years old or not until she thinks you're ready."
"Yang, this is the PET I'm learning to code on and how to create a Netnavi. Guess what? I finally made my own Netnavi!" Ruby showed Yang the screen and there was Fairytale Woman. She waved to Yang. "The coolest part is that she and Dragon Woman are half sisters just like us!" Ruby talking a mile a minute.
"Ruby, slow down and what do you mean that Fairytale Woman is Dragon Woman's half sister? How is that even possible?" Yang asked in confusion.
"I asked Mom and Aunt Raven if I could use part of the code they used to create Dragon Woman. I wanted our Netnavi to be related like us." Ruby said.
Ruby was beginning to get worried because Yang was standing there with a blank expression on her face. Suddenly, Yang gave her a big bear hug. "I can't believe that not only my baby sister made her own Netnavi, but made her Netnavi and mine siblings like us!"
In cyberspace two Netnavi are meeting for the first time. Fairytale Woman nervously approached Dragon Woman. Once close enough she began to speak. "Um, excuse me, but you're Yang's Netnavi, Dragon Woman?"
"That is me, but who are you and how did you get into Xiao Long's secure network?" Dragon Woman asked while getting ready to fight the intruder.
"I'm Fairytale Woman and Ruby's Netnavi. Also, it's nice to meet you, sis. Is it ok that I call you that?" Fairytale Woman asked, still nervous.
Dragon woman was surprised that Ruby created her own Netnavi. "I've no problem with you calling me that even if we are not related to each other."
"Actually Ruby convinced Raven and Summer to let her use part of the code they used to create you in my design. So we are half sisters just like our Net Ops." Fairytale Woman informed.
A few seconds went by as Dragon Woman digested the information she was just given and when she did she gave her new sister a hug. She let out a big squeal of excitement! "I can't believe that I have a little sister! We are going to be the best of friends! We're going to Net battle together, talk about boys and we can do all the cool things that Yang does with Ruby! This is the best day of my life!"
"Sweetie, I'm happy that you're excited about your new sister, but if you don't loosen your grip on her, you're going to delete her by accident." Rose Woman said in a calm tone while making her presence known to Dragon Woman.
Dragon Woman let go of Fairytale Woman and had a worried look on her face. "Fairy, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you, can you forgive me?" She asked for forgiveness. Fairytale Woman went up to her and gave Dragon Woman a big hug. No words needed to be exchanged between the new sisters. Fairytale Woman knew Dragon Woman didn't mean to hurt her.
Right then, both sisters felt another pair of arms Wrapped around them. They both see Rose Woman joined in the hug. "I'm glad that both my girls are getting along." She said in a happy tone. "It seems a certain Rose and Fairy jumped the gun about their news." Fairytale Woman about to say something, but Rose Woman put her hand up to tell the newest family member to stop. "We both knew you and Ruby were going to be too excited to wait and neither one of us our mad. Right now, Summer is talking to Ruby and Yang about our plan for today. That's all you are getting out of me."
Back in the real world, Summer had taken her daughters to a park. There were some old hologram projectors where people could have Net Battles. "Alright girls, normally I would have you use the hologram projector in my lab, but it is acting glitchy at the moment and I don't feel it's safe to use. So that is why we are at the park where you can use the Hologram projector without any problems. Do either one of you have any questions?" Summer asked.
"Mom, why is Zwei here?" Yang asked. She looked down at the little corgi puppy on a leash.
"Zwei needs his daily walk. So Since we were coming here I just decided to bring him along with us." Then. Summer pulled out a bottle of sunblock. Summer just finished putting it on Ruby and was heading over to Yang. "Yang, hold still while I put this on you. I know you're my Sunny little Dragon, but I don't want you to get a sunburn. Now, girls have fun and I will be close by." Summer watches her daughters race off, unaware that someone was watching them.
The sisters went down near the hologram projectors. Suddenly, something caused Ruby to trip when out of nowhere, a girl caught Ruby and stopped her from falling. The girl had green hair and amber eyes and a pair of hedgehog ears on top of her head. She was wearing a black jacket , green shirt, tan shorts and boots. "Thank you for saving my sister from falling. I'm Yang and this is my little sister Ruby." Yang introduced herself and her sister to the girl.
"I'm Greene Hill." Greene said, she held out her hand for a hand shake. Yang shook it. "You have to be careful in this area because there are tree roots that can trip you. I haven't seen either of you here before." Yang explained why they came to the park. "Wow, that's impressive Ruby."
"It's not that impressive." Ruby cheeks turned red in embarrassment.
"Of course it is impressive, Ruby, I would be honored if you let me be yours and Fairytale Woman's first opponent in a Net Battle." Greene could see that Yang was going to object. "Yang, I promise that it will be more of a Tutorial than an actual net battle. I know Ruby is just learning about Net Battles and it would be unfair of me to go full out on an inexperienced fighter. It's also mean of me to do that to a new friend."
"Do you really see me as a friend?" Ruby asked. Greene nodded her head yes.
Yang could see how excited and happy Ruby was about making a friend. She didn't want to crush this new friendship. "Ok, but if I think it's getting too dangerous I'm pulling the plug on the battle." Both Ruby and Greene nodded in agreement with Yang.
"Fairytale Woman! Jack in!" Ruby shouted.
"Mirage Man! Jack in." Greene called.
The two Netnavi entered a small arena. It was a small square platform. For a few seconds, the area got fuzzy and part of the ground disappeared. "What was that?!" Fairytale Woman jumped backwards to avoid falling through a hole in the arena floor.
"Sorry about that. The park's hologram projectors are very old and glitchy at odd times. I'm Mirage Man." He introduced himself.
Fairytale Woman couldn't really make out what the Netnavi looked like because he was wearing a white cloak that covered his appearance. "It is nice to meet you, Mirage Man. "This is my first Net Battle, so I'm not sure how to start the battle and I don't have much experience either."
"Hey kid, no worries. This is not going to be an official battle. I'm gonna show you the ropes of Net battling. Now you stand over there" Mirage Man pointed to the left side of the arena. He watched as Fairytale Woman went and stood on the left side of the corner. He took his place on the right side of the arena. "I will let you have the first move."
"Fairy Scythe!" Fairytale Woman's scythe appeared in her hand. She charged Mirage Man. Marge Man dodged the slash. Mirage Man's hand changed into a blaster. He fired a shot that sent Fairytale Woman backwards. "Remember, you and your Net Op need to work together if you want to defeat your opponents."
The battle went on for sometime. Mirage Man barely even attacked Fairytale Woman. Part of the time Fairytale Woman was dodging the glitches that created holes in the ground. "Fairytale Woman, I noticed a pattern with holes opening and I think we can use it to our advantage." She listened to Ruby's plan and got ready to do it.
"Mini Bomb! Battle chips! Download!" Ruby shouted.
In Fairytale Woman's hands appeared two Mini bombs. She threw the first bomb at Mirage Man who moved to the left to avoid the attack. Mirage Man was unaware that Ruby and Fairytale Woman had him where they wanted him. The second Mini bomb sailed right at Mirage Man. He took a step backwards. Without paying attention to his surroundings He didn't see the ground was beginning to glitch and A small hole opened up behind him. Mirage Man wasn't paying attention to his surroundings and his foot got in the hole.
Mirage Man came to realize that he had fallen into a trap. The mini bomb hit the ground in front of him which created a smoke cloud. Mirage Man was looking for where Fairytale Woman would attack from. Fairytale Woman came charging from the left with her scythe in hand. The scythe was an inch away when an energy shot hit Fairytale Woman and sent her flying.
Fairytale Woman recovered from the shot and saw several generic human looking Netnavi. They were helping to free Mirage Man from the glitch. Once his foot was free he looked at the Netnavi and sneered at them. "It's about time you lot showed up, I was getting tired of the nice act!"
"Sorry, boss, we were waiting for the right moment to strike." One of the Netnavi said in an apologetic tone.
"Mirage Man, What is going on?" Fairytale asked in confusion.
"Wise up. kid! This is a set up. I'll lure you here."
"If that is the case I don't have to stay. Ruby, log me out." Fairytale Woman waited but nothing was happening. "Ruby?"
"I can't log you out and the jack won't unhook from the port." Ruby began to panic when Mirage Man and the group of Generic Netnavis surrounded Fairytale Woman. Ruby looked up from her Pet and saw Greene laughing. "Greene, why are you doing this? I thought we were friends!"
"Kid, we were never friends to begin with. You are nothing more than an easy mark. Who do you think trip you in the first place." Greene saw the look of horror on Ruby's face. We found out about the glitch and we found a way to make a back door to let other Netnavi in my crew into the official Net Battle."
Ruby was holding back her tears. "What did you do to the port?"
"You can't log out until you defeat every last one of us." Greene smirked
"But that is not possible for somebody who is still learning how to Net Battle!"
"That's the point. Ruby, do you want to know the best part of this? After we defeat you we can claim that we beat the daughter of the White Rose of team STRQ." Greene had a nasty smile on her face.
Ruby was about to say something when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She saw her sister standing next to her. Yang was angry. "Dragon Woman! Jack in!" Yang shouted at the top of her lungs.
Dragon Woman has just arrived in the arena, she saw Fairytale Woman trying to fight off a group of Netnavi, but her sister was getting overwhelmed by them. Dragon Woman flew toward her sister, suddenly a mini bomb exploded which damaged her wing and caused her to crash. Dragon woman got up and barely duck under a sword that was coming at her. There were two Netnavis blocking the path where Fairytale Woman was at.
"Ok, boys, you have two options. The easy way or the hard way. Option number one: you get out of my way and nobody gets hurt. Option two: I kick your backsides." Both of them pretended to think about it for a few seconds before they swung their swords at her. Dragon Woman caught the blade in her hand. "I guess we're gonna do it the hard way." Using her strength, she broke the blade off its hilt. "Dragon Fire!" Dragon Woman released a stream of fire from her mouth, the fire hit the two Netnavis which forced them to log out.
Dragon Woman was hit on her back by a blast of energy. She looked where it came from and found Mirage Man standing there. "Dragon Fire!" Dragon Woman spewed fire at Mirage Man, he didn't even try to defend himself. Instead he just stood there. The fire rather than causing damage to him went through Mirage Man. Dragon Woman's mouth hung open with surprise.
"One of my abilities is Intangible which means I can negate damage whenever I want." Mirage Man said. "Mirage Clone." A second copy of himself came into existence. The original Mirage Man fired his blaster. Dragon Woman dodged the blast, but the copy Mirage Man delivered an uppercut to Dragon Woman's chin. Every time Dragon Woman countered, the other Mirage Man would land a hit.
The original Mirage Man slashed at Dragon Woman with a long sword. She rolled to the left to get out of the way, but she was heading straight for the copy. The copy delivered an axe kick to her body. That sent Dragon Woman to the ground. Yang was pleading for her to get up but Dragon Woman could barely hear Yang's voice. What she did hear was clang of something metal hitting the ground. Dragon Woman hardly had the energy to move, but she found the strength turned her head toward the sound. What she found was her baby sister on the ground crying.
Yang was going through the same thing as Dragon Woman. She watched as Ruby pleaded with Greene to stop while begging for Fairytale Woman to get up and Ruby had tears running down her face. 'Why am I so weak? Is this really the limit of my abilities? I let my sister get hurt by a fake friend.' They saw Greene, Mirage Man and their gang enjoying her and her sister's pain.
Anger Built up in Yang and Dragon Woman. "No, I'll protect my sister from anyone who would try to hurt them!" At that moment, power surged through both Yang and Dragon Woman. They let out a terrifying roar. Ruby saw that Yang's eyes had turned red. Fairytale woman saw a similar sight as Dragon Woman got back up, but her eyes were lilac instead of red.
"You don't know when to stay down!" Copy Mirage Man threw a punch, but before the punch could get close, Dragon Woman released a torrent of fire. The fire consumed the copy Mirage Man. Dragon Woman sped across the arena to where Fairytale Woman was at and slammed into the first generic Netnavi. Her tail whacked the one behind her. Then two generic Netnavis charged toward her, Dragon Woman shot another round of fire , the fire hit them and the Netnavis logging out.
Fairytale was shocked by how quickly Dragon Woman took those Netnavi down. She saw Mirage Man was sneaking up on Dragon Woman. "Sis, behind you!" Fairytale Woman shouted.
Mirage Man tried to bring his sword down but Dragon Woman grabbed his arm with her tail. She used her tail and slammed him into the ground. She repeatedly slammed Mirage Man into the ground and kept on doing it. "This is not good, I can't turn intangible without bringing her along with me. If I hit her sister she will let go of me to protect her. Greene, I need a battle chip."
"Cannon! battle chip! Download!" Greene shouted.
Mirage Man's hand changed into a cannon. He took aim at Fairytale Woman. He fired it, the projectile head for Fairytale Woman. But instead of letting him go, Dragon Woman threw him at the Projectile. Mirage Man connected with it and it exploded. Mirage Man was laying on the ground when a shadow covered his body. He looked up to see Dragon Woman standing there. She reached down and grabbed his arm. She began pulling on it until she ripped the arm off.
Fairytale Woman saw what happened and got up. She fell to the ground but got up again. She limped over to her sister. She wrapped her arms around Dragon Woman. "Please Sis, you need to stop it!" Fairytale woman had tears in her eyes.
Dragon Woman eyes went back to normal. "Fairy, what is going on?" She looked at her hand and saw Mirage Man's arm. She dropped it to the ground and the arm turned into data. "Why did I've Mirage Man's arm in my hand?!" Dragon Woman freaked out.

In the park at the same time, Ruby had an arm wrapped tightly around Yang. "Yang, please, don't sink to Greene's level!"
Those words snapped Yang out of it and her eyes turned back to lilac. "Ruby, what is going on?" She looked around and saw that Greene was running away but Zwei stood in front of her. His fur was standing up and he let out a growl. She turned around only to see Summer Rose was standing behind her with an angry look on her face.
End of flashback
"Now you know the first time Yang and I did Synchronization." Dragon woman finished speaking. JNPR, Weiss and Blake had their hands covering their mouths.
"I understand if any of you don't want to be my friends anymore." Yang couldn't look at them.
"Yang, if you think this would stop us from being your friends, then think again." Jaune said, while the rest of JNPR nodded in agreement.
"We're your teammates and your family, that means you are stuck with us." Weiss said in a firm tone.
Blake just gave a reassuring look.
Yang sniffled a little and used her arm to wipe her tears.
"This also explains why Ruby froze when Jaune first met her." Squire Man said.
"I agree with you, Squire Man. The traumatic event with Greene would make it difficult for Ruby to trust anyone she wasn't close to already." Lotus said.
"This isn't about me!" Ruby shouted in anger. This shocked Weiss, Blake and JNPR completely. They had never heard Ruby raise her voice before.
"Ruby, go take a shower." Yang and Ruby were having a staring contest until Ruby got off Yang's bed and entered the bathroom. Yang waited for the shower to be turned on before continuing to Talk. "I'm sorry for how Ruby reacted earlier. She blames herself for what happened."
"It's ok, Yang. I imagined this would be a sensitive subject for her and Fairytale Woman." Neko Woman said.
"What happened to Greene and Mirage Man? Because Nora and I will break their legs for you." Shock Woman said with determination.
"Thank you, Shock Woman and Nora, but you don't need to do that. The last we heard, Greene was locked up in juvie. She had done this several times before us. I'm not sure if Mirage Man survived the battle." Dragon Woman said with sadness in her voice.
"If you want to promise me something. Please, keep an eye on Ruby and Fairytale Woman!" Yang begged them.
"Why do you want us to keep an eye on them?" Magnet Woman asked.
"Because we're scared that our little sisters might have the same problem. Fairytale Woman has part of my code in her design. Summer and Raven ran tests on my programming, but found nothing. Which has us both worried about them." Dragon Woman said.
Hello, everyone. Mobian and I hope you all liked this chapter of Rwby: NT Warrior. This was more so a flashback chapter on when Yang and Dragon Woman performed synchronization for the very first time and beat Greene Hill and Mirage Man. Now, this chapter's ending was more bittersweet.
Surprisingly, Ruby raised her voice which was something she'd never done that before.
