"Am Ambi Ambipom! (How dare you continue this lie)." Ambipom growled. "Bi Am Pom. Bi Ambi! Ambi Pom Ambi! (We're missing someone we care about and you dare pretend to be him. Leave us alone or else.)
Spark wilted a bit at the harsh glare Ambipom was sending her way. But after a moment of hesitation, Spark took a deep breath before she began to speak.
"Pika Pikapi. Pi Pika? (But I am Ash. Why won't you believe me, Ambipom?)" Spark asked her former Pokémon with tears brimming in her eyes and her ears pinned back in distress.
Ambipom scowled and crossed her arms over her chest. "Ambi Ambi! Pom Am Ambipom. (Stop lying!)" Ambipom almost shrieked, her eyes blazing with fury as she used one of her tails to punch Spark hard in the face, causing her to stumble backwards and accidentally knock the other pokeballs over with her still-swinging tail.
Luckily for Spark, Mamoswine's pokeball was not opened but Piplup, Buneary, and Pachirisu's pokeballs did open and the three of them appeared in a flash of bright blue light.
"Pip piplup? (What's going on?)" Piplup asked upon seeing Ambipom standing over a fallen Spark.
"Am Ambi. Am. (She tried to convince me of that same lie again.) Ambipom growled, causing Pachirisu to look worried at Spark while Buneary and Piplup got mad.
"Lup. (She's still spouting that same unbelievable story?)" Piplup growled, charging up his most powerful peck attack while glaring daggers at Spark.
"Pi Pika! Pi Pi Pikapi. (But it really is true! I am Ash.)" Spark tried again, tears in her eyes at them not believing her.
"Bun bun Buneary. Eary bunear. (I bet you're just trying to get on Pikachu's good side so you can become mates. Well pretending to be his missing friend won't help you.) Buneary growled. "Bun." So just give up."
"Pi pi...(but it is...)" Spark started before an angry Buneary attacked with Piplup and Ambipom helping Buneary while Pachirisu tried to help Spark, only to be labeled a traitor and treated the same way.
Eventually though, the scuffle between the five of them woke up Dawn, who looked over at her fighting Pokémon before her eyes widened and she quickly jumped to her feet with an angry scowl forming on her face.
"Stop!" She yelled as she saw a beaten up Spark and Pachirisu. "Look at you. We are supposed to be a team, that means we work together. And if you can't get along with someone you do not team up to beat them up like a villain yourself. If you can't do that then at least ignore them unless absolutely necessary."
Dawn then picked up Spark and Pachirisu and carried them down to the Pokémon Center. .
Upon reaching the Pokémon Center, Dawn quickly handed Spark and Pachirisu to a horrified Nurse Joy.
As Spark and Pachirisu healed, Pachirisu noticed Spark was depressed.
"Pachi? (Are you okay?)" Pachirisu asked as Nurse Joy healed them.
"Pi pika? (Why don't they believe me?)" Spark muttered, before looking suprised when Pachirisu put her tail over her, the tail being the only part that could reach from where they were.
"Pa pachi chi. Chi su pachi chi. Chi. Chi. Ri pa su. Pachirisu pa pa...ri. Su su ra...pachi. (Because they're idiots. With everything we've been through it is possible for you to become a pokemon. Not likely. But believable. They should of checked like I did, not just dismiss you. They don't have the electric abilities I have, but a few questions only you know the answer to...that would work. And attacking you like this...they went too far.)" Pachirisu said.
"Pi pika.(Way too far.)" Spark said before wincing at a deep injury from Piplup's peck attack being touched. "Chu Ka-pi pika. Ka pi.(I'll just go by Spark and stay away from them. I don't want to risk this again.)"
"Pa.(I understand.)" Pachirisu sighed before wincing when she unconsciously moved closer, only for her leg to not do well with the movement. "Pachi chi. Pa su. Ri ri. Su pachi pa.("but I will always be there for you. No matter how injured I get. I'm you're friend. And I know you would do the same for me.)"
"Pi. (Thank you.)" Spark said, not being able to deny it.
About a few hours or so later, Nurse Joy came out of the recovery room with both Spark and Pachirisu sitting on the top of a rolling cart.
"I'm happy to say that both Pikachu and Pachirisu are doing just fine and are back to full health." Nurse Joy informed Dawn as the two Pokémon smiled hesitantly up at her.
Dawn smiled and gave a nod of her head in thanks to Nurse Joy befe quickly returning Spark and Pachirisu to their pokeballs and heading back to her make-shift camp.
Upon reaching the spot she that she and her Pokémon had camped out at, Dawn sighed heavily and released Ambipom from her pokeball.
Once the blue light had faded from around Ambipom, Dawn frowned and crossed her arms over her chest. "Why did you and the others pick on Spark and Pachirisu like that?" She asked, scowling down at Ambipom as she spoke. "I know Ash trained you better than this! So why on earth did you start a fight with Spark?"
Ambipom's tails drooped down and she lowered her gaze from her trainer's stern expression.
It was silant for quite sometime before something caught Ambipom's eye. She turned her head and scowled upon realizing it was Spark's pokeball.
She was just about to raise one of her tails and smack it against a tree when Dawn's loud scream stopped her.
"Ambipom! Stop that right now!" The blue-haired girl almost shrieked. "I don't know what's gotten into you but I don't like it!"
She then returned Ambipom before bringing Piplup out into the grassy area.
Piplup knew he was in trouble the moment he was released.
Dawn looked about ready to scream and yell about a dozen-or-so amount of curse words and insults right at his face.
But Dawn said nothing, merely just staring down at Piplup with a mix of disgust and disappointment written plainly on her face.
"What in the the name of Arceus is the matter with you? What in world were you thinking?" Dawn bit out, sounding almost like a ferrel cat as she stared down at her starter Pokémon with unbridled fury shining in her crystalline eyes.
Piplup lowered his head in shame.
"Answer me!"
Piplup stared up at her with an ashamed look forming on his face.
Dawn's expression softened and she sighed and kneeled down to be eye-level with her starter Pokémon.
"Look, I know your sad about what happened to Ash and that we're not in a traveling group any more, but that doesn't give any of you the right to take your anger out on your fellow teammates." Dawn scolded him with a gentle yet firm expression forming on her face. "So please, Piplup, try to be a bit nicer to Spark, okay?"
Piplup sighed softly but slowly nodded his head in response to her plea.
Dawn gave him a tight smile before patting the top of his head and returning him to his pokeball.
