"Kami this gi itches." Goku itched both of his sides with his right and left hands "Do I have to wear it?" He whines
"I'm sorry Goku you'll have to wear it for the time being." Kami informs Goku as they stood just outside Kami's castle waiting for an important guest
" I don't see why I couldn't wear my regular gi." Goku itched his lower back
" Goku I told you it's a kimono." Mr. Popo joined them as they waited
" This thing smells moth balls." Goku loudly says sniffing the collar
"Goku hush they're here." Kami shushed Goku.
" Who's?" Goku's question was halted by a regal looking man with long blonde hair and sour expression on his face and a girl who looked to be around Goku's age, seemed to descend from heaven.
" Your Grace." Kami bowed his head Goku's mouth gapped open he'd never seen Kami act like this before
" Kami." The stern faced man greeted Kami as he walked up holding the young girls hand
Goku's eyes bee lined to her. She had a pretty face very much like the porcelain dolls he'd seen in Bulma's room. With long bright red hair that had been expertly braided into a up do. She wore a dark green kimono that complimented her red hair.
" This must be Lady Midori-ko." Kami bows to her too
" Greetings Guardian of Earth Kami." She smiled and bowed
" Greetings." Kami bows "I'd like you both to meet my attendant Mr. Popo and my young pupil Son Goku." Kami motions to them
" Mr. Popo." The stern faced man nods to Mr Popo "Son Goku is it?" He looks down at Goku this man had to easily be a head taller than Kami so Goku had to really look up at him.
" Hi I'm Goku." Goku chirps getting Midori-ko to giggle
" Charmed." The stern faced man rolled his eyes "I do hope he's also learning manners."
" Yes he certainly is." Kami says "Goku this is Grand Duke Toga." Kami introduces them "And this is his first born Lady Midori-ko."
" I'm pleased to meet you Son Goku." Lady Midori-ko makes eye contact with him
" Kami who are these people?" Goku looks up at Kami
"Please forgive him your Grace, Goku's parents are deceased along with any other family no one has formally coached his manners." Kami looks down at Goku "Except myself and Mr Popo."
"I suppose it's alright." Toga looks down at Goku again
" My father and I are from other world Son Goku." Midori-ko smiles "We're dragons me and my father." She explains
" Oh cool like Shenron?" Goku asks
" Ah well Shenron is a special case." Midori-ko smiles
"You and your obsession with Earth Realm." Her father Toga scoffs "I must be going." Toga says" I'll see you in three years."
" Thank you again for this opportunity father." Midori-ko looks up at him
" The sooner you're done the better." Toga gave her the smallest smile
" Yes father." Midori-ko nods "Love you."
"Hmmm yes." Toga pats the top of Midori-ko's head before he rose up back into the clouds
" And thank you for having me Kami." Midori-ko faced him
" The pleasure is all mine." Kami nods
" What kind of dragon are you?" Goku excitedly asks
" Well I'm a girl dragon." Midori-ko clearly didn't know what Goku meant
" Yeah yeah I can see that but what kind are you? Do you fight what?" Goku tries to explain himself
" Oh well I can fight." Midori-ko says"But I avoid it."
" Aw man so you won't spar with me?" Goku complains
" Enough out of you, you need to get back to your training." Kami interjects
" He's ok Kami." Midori-ko tells Kami
" I'm sorry Lady Midori-ko but Goku is a very frank person." Kami sighs
" That's ok I like honest people." She smiles "Goku I don't fight because my speciality is fire magic and a little bit of hapkido." Midori-ko explains
" Well if you ever change your mind I'd love to spar with you." Goku told her looking energized
" Thank you I'll keep that in mind." Midori-ko smiles "Kami my father said you have the best library if I want to learn about Earth Realm."
" Yes my lady." Kami nods "Your father advised me you'll be studying Earth Realm for the next three years."
" Yes Earth Realm is so interesting I want to study and learn all there is to know before I'm have to marry my brethrothed." Midori-ko explains her voice becoming soft at the end of her sentence
" Well you've come to the right place to learn about Earth Realm my Lady." Mr. Popo advised
" Oh perfect."Midori-ko smiles
" How old are you Midori-ko?" Goku asks
" That's Lady Midori-ko to you." Kami corrects Goku
" Jeez sorry." Goku rolls his eyes
" Don't worry Kami, formalities I feel are just an excuse for important people to be rude to each other." Midori-ko says "I'm 15."
" Me too." Goku lights up"You're going to be here for three years like me we should totally be friends."
" I'd like that." Midori-ko smiles
" So are you like a princess or something?" Goku asks
" Oh no I'm no princess." Midori-ko says
"That's too bad you're sure pretty enough to be a princess." Goku blurts
" Oh my." Midori-ko blushes
" Okay Goku you need to get back to training." Kami instructs him
" Good now I can take off this itchy thing." Goku starts lifting up his kimono shirt
" Goku!" Mr Popo stops him by pulling down the kimono
" Hey whatcha do that for? I'm not training in this." Goku protests
" Goku you're in the presence of a young lady." Mr Popo nods to Midori-ko who'd turned her face away from them
" Lady Midori-ko would you like a tour?" Kami suggests
" Yeah that sounds like a good idea." She nods before following Kami inside his castle
" This'll be your room, Goku's is right next door." Kami opens the door to Midori-ko's temporary room
" Oh ok nice." Midori-ko peeks to see a simple but comfortable looking room
" And like I said Goku is right next to your room not that he'll be much help so I'm just down the hall and Mr Popo at the other end." Kami explains pointing to all the other rooms.
"Perfect thank you." Midori-ko smiles
"I have to say my lady I'm glad you decided to come study here Goku could learn a thing or two from you." Kami nods
"Oh?" Midori-ko blinks "I think he's charming." She smiles
"I suppose to a young woman like yourself Goku would be quite charming." Kami smirks
"Oh well." Midori-ko blushes
" Anyway my lady let's make our way to the library." Kami says
" Sounds good ."
