Midori-ko's father threw her to the floor of their home once they returned from Earth Realm.
" Stop crying." Grand Duke Toga demands
" I'm sorry." Midori-ko wipes her eyes
" Did you touch that boy?" Grand Duke Toga roared
" No father." Midori-ko hid her face in her hands
" Don't lie to me." Grand Duke Toga growled "You know what happens to people who lie to me." He points to a wall full of mounted heads that were all now skulls
" You'd kill your ticket to the throne over an assumption?" Midori-ko still held her face in her hands feeling a burning in her chest
" Did you touch that mongrel?" Grand Duke Toga grabbed her hair to have Midori-ko take his wrist and begin filling it with flames "Midori-ko don't you dare I am your father."
" You want to keep that arm?" Midori-ko looked up increasing the heat of her flames
Grand Duke Toga let go shaking his hand.
" Your betrothed is on his way get dressed." He ordered
" That wasn't our deal." Midori-ko stood
" You're having dinner with the crowned prince your soul mate and then I don't care what you do." Grand Duke Toga scoffs walking out of the room
Mr Popo watched from the entrance of Kami's castle as Goku tried to jump into the clouds calling for Midori-ko.
" I hope he realizes that's not how it works." Kami says walking up to Mr Popo
" Oh Kami My Lord I've never seen Goku act like this before." Mr Popo tells Kami
" Neither have I." Kami sighs
" Is there anything we can do?" Mr Popo asks
" I don't know." Kami tells Mr Popo"But I'm going to try."
" Please Kami I can't stand this." Mr Popo holds his hands together
" You are their biggest fan aren't you." Kami smiles
" They are both my dear friends and I only want to see them happy." Mr Popo tells Kami
" Me too Mr Popo." Kami pats his shoulder before walking up to Goku who was still trying to jump into the sky
" My dear Son Goku that's not how it works." Kami tells Goku
" I don't care." Goku stopped jumping for a moment " I just want her back."
" I know."
" She was going to have a panic attack Midori-ko said she can get those so easily and I wasn't there to help her." Goku looks down at his hands
" Son Goku you're shaking." Kami tells him
" Kami I'm in love with her." Goku clenched his hands
" I know." Kami places a hand on Goku's shoulder
" I'll do anything to get her back." Goku says.
" We're going to do whatever we can Goku." Kami tells him
" We were hunting and of course I came back with the biggest kill."
Prince Kaname, the future Dragon Emperor boasted to Midori-ko's father at the dinner table.
At first glance Prince Kaname looked charming with his good looks, long pin straight black hair and green eyes and sharp features but underneath it all Prince Kaname was an elitist, cruel, and self-centered brat who constantly bullied and demeaned everyone around him.
Midori-ko could barely stomach being around him.
" That sounds like it was very enjoyable your majesty." Midori-ko's father tells him
" Oh it was you have to go with me next time." Prince Kaname smirks "And Midori-ko too I suppose." He sideways glanced at her.
Midori-ko had been keeping her eyes on her food the sooner this was over the sooner Midori-ko could go back to Earth Realm.
Midori-ko could only imagine what was going through their minds, especially Goku.
She didn't even have time to tell Goku what was going on.
" It's like talking to a wall." Prince Kaname rolls his eyes
" Midori-ko." Grand Duke Toga growled at her
" Forgive me my love I'm just tired from my travels." Midori-ko says trying not to vomit when she called the insufferable Dragon Prince 'my love '
" Yeah your father says you're studying Earth Realm?" Prince Kaname fiend a smile
" Yes your majesty." Midori-ko nods
" How boring." Prince Kaname laughs "It suits you." He laughs
" You're very observant your majesty." Midori-ko smiles
" Pff." Prince Kaname rolls his eyes
" Your father tells me that you are eager to get married your highness." Grand Duke Toga says to Prince Kaname
" Pff dream on." Prince Kaname scoffs "I'm in no rush to be tied down to anyone especially anyone as boring as Midori-ko." Prince Kaname points at her
It took everything in Midori-ko's power to not roll her eyes.
" She can take as long as she wants being boring in Earth Realm I'm enjoying what does my father call it?" Prince Kaname looked up "Oh yeah sowing my wild oats." Prince Kaname says happily
" Oh you've got to be kidding me." Midori-ko sniggers getting the Prince and her dad to look at her "I'm out of rice haha I'm going to the kitchen." Midori-ko stood"Excuse me your majesty." She bowed before going to the kitchen
Midori-ko leaned against the pantry door out of eye sight.
" Oh Goku if I could just tell you what happened." She sighs
" Son Goku please come inside." Mr Popo walked up to Goku who had laid face up just staring at the clouds
" Can't." Goku breathes
" Son Goku, Kami is doing everything he can." Mr Popo tells him
" She didn't even get to say anything to me." Goku says still looking up"I don't know if she's okay."
" I'm sorry." Mr Popo bowed his head
" I was completely helpless." Goku reaches a hand up.
" I'm sorry Goku." Mr Popo sighs
Midori-ko stood in the foyer of her childhood home as her father saw off The Dragon Prince.
" Complete waste of time." Midori-ko said to herself
" My Lady Midori-ko." Kami says behind her
" Kami!" Midori-ko flipped around "I'm so happy to see you." She hugged him
" As am I." Kami pats her back
" Is Goku okay?" Midori-ko asks
" He's distraught." Kami frowns
" Goku." Midori-ko hugs herself
" I'm here to take you back." Kami tells her
" Let's go." Midori-ko says
" Shouldn't we speak with your father?" Kami asks pointing to Midori-ko's father who was still outside
" I'll deal with him later." Midori-ko glared
" Let's make haste." Kami says putting a hand on her shoulder and moments later landing in Kami's office.
" Perfect." Midori-ko gives Kami a thumbs up "Where's Goku?" She asks her heart pounding against her chest
" He was outside." Kami say
" Goku!" Midori-ko bolts down the hall knowing how good his hearing is.
Midori-ko flew down the hall to the front of Kami's look out.
Midori-ko didn't make it outside when she collided with something solid.
" Midori-ko." Goku clutched her to his chest "You're safe."
" I'm fine." Midori-ko rested her head on Goku's chest feeling his heart racing
" I'm sorry I couldn't stop your dad." Goku says resting his chin on the top of her head
" Don't beat yourself up my father just caught me off guard." Midori-ko rubs her hands on Goku's back "It won't happen again."
" I love you." Goku pulled away to look Midori-ko in the eyes
" I love you." Midori-ko reached up to kiss Goku. "Goku." She pulled away still holding his cheek
" Yeah?"
"Make me yours." Midori-ko felt a wave of heat hit her as Midori-ko stared into Goku's dark chocolate eyes
"What?" Goku blinks
" You know that thing we've been avoiding." Midori-ko explains
"Oh...are you sure?" Goku swallowed
