" Good morning, Lady Midori-ko." Babara greeted Midori-ko bringing in her breakfast.
Midori-ko was already awake sitting in her lounge chair not yet dressed just in a simple black robe with her hair still down.
" Coffee." Midori-ko motions for Babara to bring her the tray
" Are you feeling okay My lady?" Babara asks
" I'm sorry I didn't get a lot of sleep last night." Midori-ko exhales feeling the exhaustion from only getting a few hours of sleep
" What may I ask kept you awake?" Babara asks setting the tray down on the table next to Midori-ko's chair
" Just a stomach ache." Midori-ko says
" Are you sure it doesn't have to do with a certain hunk you brought home?" Babara doesn't look at Midori-ko when she says it
" Excuse me?" Midori-ko almost spit out her coffee
" I didn't stutter my lady." Babara says
"Careful what you say next." Midori-ko points at her
" I saw you." Babara tells her " I saw him, Son Goku screwing you like he was some sort of animal." She adds "Which I'm not complaining seeing Son Goku move like that I had to rub one out when I got back to my room." Babara smirks
Midori-ko felt a fire in her belly that she only recognized when she was fighting.
Midori-ko didn't say anything in response she stood up from her chair and stood face to face with this kitchen girl.
" My Lady has anyone told you how short you are?" Babara smirks she was a little taller than Midori-ko
"You've forgotten who you're talking to." Midori-ko's face was emotionless
" No." Babara says "I just know when I have dirt on someone." She smiles
It happened so fast Babara didn't even see it, Midori-ko's nails had grown triple in size and turned black before Midori-ko lifted Babara off the ground by her neck and began crushing Babara's wind pipe with only her right hand.
" And I know when someone deserves to burn." Midori-ko's eyes widened slightly and flashed red before starting with Babara's feet flames began inching up Babara's body as Midori-ko continued to strangle Babara.
" You won't get away..."" I already have." Midori-ko snaps her fangs at Babara before the rest of her was consumed by flames.
Midori-ko dropped Babara on the floor watching her burn and then smolder into a pile of ashes.
" No one threatens me or Goku." Midori-ko spat at the pile of ashes.
" Where is Babara I sent her with breakfast the breakfast cart an hour ago." The head maid Jodi complained buzzing around the kitchen
" I don't know boss she's normally back by now." One of the other maids shrugs
" I sent her to her room." Midori-ko says
Both the head maid and her worker jumped.
" My Lady what are you doing in the kitchen?" The head maid Jodi bowed
" Babara wasn't feeling well so I gave her the day off." Midori-ko lies but she knew the house's staff would blindly believe her.
" Oh ok."
" I brought down my dishes." Midori-ko goes and takes them to the sink
" Lady Midori-ko what would your father say about you doing house work?" The head maid Jodi gapes
" Jodi dishes are not rocket science." Midori-ko laughs setting her dishes in the sink " Actually I wanted to ask you a favor." Midori-ko wipes off her hands before walking up to the head maid Jodi.
" Yes My Lady?" She asks
" Tomorrow is my dear friend Son Goku's birthday after tomorrow's tournament I want to throw a party for him." Midori-ko tells her
" Is it really how old is he turning?" The head maid Jodi asked
" 16." Midori-ko says
" Oh how delightful." The head maid Jodi smiles"The girls will love throwing him a birthday party, this Son Goku has been like a ray of sunshine for my staff." She tells Midori-ko
" Well that's good." Midori-ko says
" He doesn't have a girlfriend back in Earth Realm does he?" The head maid asks
" I don't believe so." Midori-ko lied again but on the inside screamed
" Oh good cause I was thinking about introducing Son Goku to my daughter he's just her type." The head maid Jodi tells Midori-ko
" You know interspecies relationship's are forbidden." Midori-ko crossed her arms
" A little fun doesn't hurt." The head maid Jodi tells her"Besides if I was around Son Goku's age I'd be all over that hunk of man meat." Jodi laughs
" He's a teenager." Midori-ko's voice raised making the head maid jump
" Forgive me My Lady." Jodi bows
" I have to prepare for the tournament." Midori-ko turns and walks out of the kitchen, everywhere she seemed to turn all these women were obsessed with Goku.
They treated him Goku was some diamond in the rough or something. Goku was wonderful enough to be considered that rare but Goku was her boyfriend.
" Is Midori-ko fighting today?" Goku asks as Kami and Goku were escorted to their carriage to the stadium
" I don't know Son Goku." Kami says
"Good morning." Grand Duke Toga greets them
" Good Morning My Lord." Kami turns and bows to Midori-ko's father
" Do you know if Midori-ko is fighting today?" Goku asks Midori-ko's father
" Son Goku address him properly." Kami scolds
" It's fine Kami, my daughter explained that Son Goku doesn't have ill intentions in his heart even if his manners are terrible." Midori-ko's father nods to Kami
" Please excuse Goku." Kami says
"Toga, sir." Goku faces him, Midori-ko's father was the tallest man Goku had ever seen even taller than Kami and he was at least 7 feet tall. But Midori-ko's father was taller by at least 5 inches.
Midori-ko's father looked nothing like her accept the eye color otherwise Grand Duke Toga had long straight white blonde hair that always looked well put together and everytime Goku saw Midori-ko's father he was always in some expensive kimono.
" Yes?" Despite Midori-ko's father smiling at Goku he still looked down his nose at him
" Is Midori-ko going to be fighting today?" Goku asks looking up at Midori-ko's regal father.
" Why yes." He smirks " You're in for a treat she will be taking on whoever has entered." Grand Duke Toga explains
" I'm so excited." Goku clenched his fists excitedly
" Heh I'm sure my daughter has told me she won't fight with you." Midori-ko's father holds his smirk
" No it kinda bums me out." Goku sighs
" Don't feel too left out." Grand Duke Toga says "No one has survived fighting Midori-ko."
" Huh?" Goku blinks
" She hasn't told you?" Midori-ko's father asks as their transportation rolled up to the mansion
" No?"
" Does it have something with her being known as The Crimson Death?" Kami asks
" Absolutely." He smiles "My daughter has ruthless skills that sends fear into the heart of anyone who sees her in action." Midori-ko's father says
" Ruthless skills?" Goku asks
" Yes Son Goku." Grand Duke Toga nods "The Dragon Mastery tournament is to the death, Midori-ko's never been beat." He says walking up to the carriage being pulled by four giant white horses
" Wait what?" Goku follows Midori-ko's father
" I know Midori-ko told you why she won't fight you." He raised an eyebrow at Goku
" Yeah she said when dragons fight that they fight to kill." Goku repeats what Midori-ko told him when they met "I just thought she was being polite."
" Her being polite is not agreeing to fight you." Grand Duke Toga chuckles
" Son Goku that's enough questions." Kami taps Goku's shoulder with his staff
" It's alright Kami, my daughter said Son Goku is pleasant to talk to once you get passed his rudeness." Grand Duke Toga tells Kami
" She doesn't think I'm rude." Goku pouts
" I added the rude part." Grand Duke Toga laughs like what he said was a joke
All three pilled into the carriage which had seats that felt like sitting on a cloud
" Forgive him My Lord." Kami says
"It's fine." Grand Duke Toga says "Would you two like to join me in my luxury box?" He offers
" What's that?" Goku asks
" Heh well you won't have to sit where the commoners do." Grand Duke Toga smirks "You'll have the best view of the fight."
" Oh yeah for sure that sounds great." Goku smiles ear to ear
" Son Goku." Kami sighs "We don't want to impose."
" I'm allowing you to board in my home for the extent of the tournament if I felt any imposition I would have said something already." Grand Duke Toga smiles
" I suppose so." Kami nervously smiles
" Toga sir." Goku spoke up as the carriage hit a bump
" Yes Goku."
" So if Midori-ko is super duper powerful does that mean she got it from you?" Goku asks
"I'm quite powerful for a dragon yes, during the Great War I was a commanding officer." Grand Duke Toga shares
" Wow that's amazing." Goku smiles
"My daughter has surpassed me she is her mother's daughter." Grand Duke Toga says his eyes growing distant
" Oh?" Goku felt a pit in his stomach
" Midori-ko has the blood of some of the most powerful dragons running through her that had once lived, they were once rulers of this world until they gave it to a different family that was better suited for ruling and Midori-ko's ancestors being more suitable for battle." Grand Duke Toga explains
" Is that her mother's side?" Kami asks
" It is." Midori-ko's father nods "My family is just known to be financial backers ahahaha." He wiped the laughter from his eyes
" Well that's just as important." Kami says
" Certainly." He nods"Everything will be full circle when Midori-ko marries the Prince and bares his first born." Grand Duke Toga looked directly at Goku as he said it "Our family will have the most powerful ruler in our family tree."
" What if it's a girl?" Goku asks
" So what if it is? Dragons don't conform to what sex is stronger like Earth Realm plenty of times female dragons hold more power." Grand Duke Toga says
"Oh."
" We're getting close to the stadium I'll enter first." Grand Duke Toga reminds them
