Gaara would never admit this to anyone, especially not Mother, but he was secretly pleased that Kagome worked in the Mission Office. At least with her working she was no longer aimlessly wandering the Village, thus ensuring Gaara would run into her less (as well as keep her out of trouble and away from unsavory types.) Of course it was also nice to see her before and after each mission…if only so the girl would not be so worried about his and his siblings' wellbeing.
Gaara did not like to be nursed, coddled or pressed by the older girl… much.
