The following morning Goku felt mostly like himself again so it was decided that he, Kami and Midori-ko would return to Earth Realm.

But not before breakfast.

" Man I'm going to miss having 7 meals a day." Goku exhales happily at the dining room table.

" Well I hope you enjoyed it because I'm having Mr Popo put you on a diet when we return." Kami says wiping his mouth

" Aw man what?" Goku groans

" Son Goku when we return to Earth Realm your training will intensify." Kami explains

" Oh geez."

" I've already spoken to Lady Midori-ko about it and she's going to help with your training." Kami adds

" Uhh how? I can't spar with her you saw Midori-ko fight." Goku says eyeballing a plate of some baked apples

" You'll see." Kami says before pouring himself more tea

When Midori-ko joined them in the dining room, dressed and ready to go.

" Alrighty I'm ready when you are." Midori-ko tells Goku and Kami.

" Once Son Goku is done stuffing himself." Kami looks over at Goku who was busy wolfing down some baked apples.

" The sooner the better." Midori-ko yawns before sitting down on the opposite side of the table " I don't think I got any sleep the whole time we were here." Midori-ko rubs her forehead

" Why didn't you say anything?" Goku asks after swallowing "You could get really sick."

" Luckily I haven't." Midori-ko yawns "I can technically go without sleep but it will shorten my life span." Midori-ko leans on her hand

" Well let's get going then." Goku quickly stood

" Goku finish your food." Midori-ko tells him

" I don't want you to get sick from not getting any sleep." Goku states walking over and grabbing his backpack

" Goku." Midori-ko sighs

" Don't argue." Goku winks

" Study hard and I'll see you soon." Grand Duke Toga tells Midori-ko just outside their home

" I sure will father." Midori-ko smiles at him

" Son Goku." Grand Duke Toga gets Goku's attention

" Toga, sir." Goku faces him

" You as well train hard and stay focused." Grand Duke Toga tells him

" Thank you sir." Goku gives him a thumbs up

" You're welcome, it was a pleasure getting to know you and your teacher Kami." Grand Duke Toga nods to both of them "If you didn't need to return to your world I'd offer you a chance to stay." He adds

" In Dragon Realm?" Goku asks

" Yes." Midori-ko's father nods

" That's super nice of you but I've got a demon to kill." Goku smiles up at Grand Duke Toga

"Become a strong warrior Son Goku." Grand Duke Toga shook Goku's hand

" Thank you Toga sir I will." Goku smiles shaking his hand

Midori-ko gave her father a hug before the three of them took off back for Earth Realm.

Just like the last time they traveled between Earth Realm and Dragon Realm a opening in the clouds appeared and they all seemed to ascend into the sky.

" Ah it's good to be home." Kami rubbed his neck heading inside the look out

" Hey." Goku walks up to a really tired Midori-ko

" Hi." Midori-ko smiles, her exhaustion was catching up with her

" Let's get you inside okay." Goku brushed some hair out of her eyes

" Goku I'm too tired for that right now." Midori-ko exhales

"I'm not even thinking about that just come on." Goku smiles and rolls his eyes

Goku sent Midori-ko to her room at the look out.

As soon as her head hit that pillow Midori-ko passed right out and was even snoring a little.

Goku kisses her forehead before exiting the room giving Midori-ko some peace and quiet.

Goku made his way down to Kami's office, Goku knew that his training was just going to get harder the closer they got to the 23 World Martial Arts tournament but there was something Goku had to figure out first.

" Kami." Goku tapped his knuckles on the already open door

" Yes Son Goku?" Kami looks up from the orange that Mr Popo had brought him

" Can I ask you something?" Goku walks in

" Of course you can ask me anything." Kami nods

" Is there any way I can get Midori-ko out of marrying the Dragon Prince?" Goku blurts out

" I'm sorry?" Kami blinks

" Yeah is there...""Goku it's just an expression I heard you." Kami sighs

" Well is there?" Goku asks

" No there isn't." Kami shook his head going back to his orange

" There has to be." Goku clenches his fists "She can't marry Prince Kaname, he won't be good to her and I don't want Midori-ko to be unhappy." Goku says

" Goku I don't want that for Midori-ko either but it's out of our control." Kami tells Goku

" I don't believe it." Goku almost shouts "Everyone told me I couldn't defeat The Red Ribbon Army but I did it and again everyone told me I couldn't defeat King Piccolo but I did it." Goku states

"Goku it's not as simple as fighting someone." Kami tells Goku

" Or is it?" Goku asks

" No it's not you saw how Midori-ko fought. Prince Kaname is not any different." Kami points at Goku

" But if I..."" No." Kami raised his voice"You have the strength but not the skill to defeat Piccolo Jr that's why you're training here with myself and Mr Popo." Kami says

" I could at least try." Goku grumbles

" No Goku." Kami shook his head "You don't stand a fraction of a chance of defeating The Dragon Prince in combat." Kami tells him

" I don't know if I don't try." Goku clenches his fists harder

" Son Goku if you challenged Prince Kaname it would be over so fast that you wouldn't have a chance to defend yourself." Kami explains

" But I love her." Goku shook looking down

" I know you do." Kami sighs

" I just... if anyone could stop her from having to marry the Dragon Prince I thought it could be me." Goku inhales sharply feeling tears building

" Son Goku." Kami sternly says "Look at me."

Goku looks up at his teacher Kami, Goku respected Kami to the fullest extent but Goku didn't have to agree.

" I need you to remember why you came to the look out and it wasn't for you to lolly gag with a girl." Kami points at Goku

" I remember." Goku wipes his eyes

" You need to think about what's most important and your love life isn't priority right now." Kami tells Goku

" Yes Kami." Goku looks down

" I need you to focus." Kami stood up from seat and walks up to Goku

" I will do as you ask." Goku keeps his head down

" You must defeat Piccolo Jr." Kami places a hand on Goku's shoulder "And once that's done Son Goku I promise I will help you stop Lady Midori-ko's betrothal." Kami tells Goku

" You're serious?" Goku looks up

" I promise you Goku." Kami nods

" Thank you Kami." Goku hugs Kami catching him off guard

" You're welcome." Kami pats Goku's head "Now I did want to talk to you about how Lady Midori-ko is going to help your training." Kami says

" Yeah?"

"Lady Midori-ko will be suppressing her power but she's going to help train you." Kami tells Goku

" No way?" Goku excitedly asks "Wait are you trying to get me killed?" He jokes

" No Lady Midori-ko is going to hold back." Kami shook his head

" This is nuts I thought she wouldn't fight me." Goku smiles

" Lady Midori-ko will not be using her fire magic." Kami tells Goku

" Ohh man." Goku smiles ear to ear "I wish she wasn't sleeping I'd get started right now." Goku complains but his tone was happy

" Patience is a virtue." Kami chuckles

" We could train in the Room of Spirit and Time?" Goku asks

" You will not, you're not strong enough." Kami reminds him

" But Midori-ko could handle it." Goku says

" Yes she can but she's not training to defeat Piccolo Jr." Kami smirks sitting down in his chair

" Yeah you're right." Goku nods

" Good morning beautiful." Goku's voice woke Midori-ko.

" Morning." Midori-ko covers her eyes with her arm "How long was I out?" She asks

" Well you slept all day yesterday and it's almost 10 am the next day." Goku smiles sitting on the bed next to her

" Ohh man." Midori-ko yawns

" It's alright." Goku smiles "I'm just glad you're not sick."

" Yeah no kidding." Midori-ko sits up

" You ready to train?" Goku beams at her

" Kami told you huh?" Midori-ko smirks seeing how happy Goku was

" Yup."

" Alrighty but I need to shower and eat first." Midori-ko kisses Goku's forehead

" I'll go make you some food." Goku jumps up and runs to the kitchen getting Midori-ko to laugh
