Goku held Midori-ko close to his bare chest as he watched her sleep. Brushing her hair out of her eyes. Goku was still amazed someone like Midori-ko would even look his way.

He had to find a way to end up with Midori-ko, Goku was sure it'd break him if they had to go sperate ways.

Goku was unable to sleep that night, he left Midori-ko in his room knowing she'd be able to sleep soundly.

If Goku couldn't fight Prince Kaname for Midori-ko Goku would find another way.

" Goku?" Mr Popo leaned into the library to see Goku at a table flipping through a book

" Oh hi Mr Popo." Goku looks up

" Everything okay?" Mr Popo asks

" Not really." Goku sighs

" I didn't think so, I don't know if I've ever seen you read." Mr Popo points out

" I know how to read it's just...I'm trying to research something." Goku says setting the book down

" Research? Goku your training doesn't require research." Mr Popo tells him

" Yeah I know." Goku says "Mr Popo how much do you know about arranged marriages?"

" Not too much just usually they're set up when both parties are small children or sometimes babies and that it's mostly for political reasons not love." Mr Popo explains

" That's what I gathered too." Goku nods "Do you know how to break a betrothal?" Goku asks

" I'm sorry Goku." Mr Popo shook his head 'no'

" It's okay." Goku sighs

A year had passed since Midori-ko started training with Goku.

He was getting stronger each day they trained.

Now both 17 and more in love then previously.

Goku was still getting taller every day and Midori-ko more womanly and beautiful.

Goku was everything Midori-ko had dreamed of and more.

Goku was still determined to not only defeat Piccolo Jr but also make it so she didn't have to marry Prince Kaname.

Midori-ko hoped Goku would find a way.

Maybe there could be a way she could help, Midori-ko had thought long and hard about it and her mother made that sacrifice so Midori-ko could live and be happy.

And Goku was what made her happy.

Midori-ko waited for Goku to head to sleep one night and she approached Kami.

" Kami." Midori-ko made her presence known

" Yes Lady Midori-ko?" Kami yawns he was sitting in his reading chair

" I need to leave the lookout for a day or so." Midori-ko informs him

" My Lady you are supposed to stay on the lookout." Kami reminds her

" And might I remind you that you technically don't have any power over me." Midori-ko smirks

" Hmmm what do you need?" Kami raises an eye brow

" I need to know where Fortuneteller Baba lives." Midori-ko tells Kami

"For what purpose?" Kami asks

" For peace of mind." Midori-ko says

"Very well, the old witch lives in a palace just north of the Southwest forest, the palace is surrounded by a large lake." Kami explains "The address is FS 199644 CC." Kami conjured a piece of paper and pen and writes down the address and holds out the paper to her

" Thank you Kami." Midori-ko took the paper

" What shall I tell Goku? He'll worry." Kami asks

" I know he's like a lost puppy without me." Midori-ko chews her thumbnail

" You said it not me." Kami nods

" Tell him I went to visit my father and I'm safe." Midori-ko says

" Fine." Kami takes a sip of his tea "You'll be back in a day?" He asks

" Before the sun sets the day after tomorrow." Midori-ko tells Kami

" Travel safely."

" Fortuneteller Baba! Fortuneteller Baba!" One of her ghosts zoomed into when Baba was reading a wealthy older woman's fortune.

" What is it?" Baba snaps " Can't you see I'm busy?"

" But madam we have a very special visitor." The ghost explains

" They can wait." Baba snaps

" I brought cash." Midori-ko leaned on the doorway of Baba's fortune-telling room

" L-Lady Midori-ko." Baba stumbled on her words before bowing "What brings you to my humble home?"

" I need an answer to something." Midori-ko tells Baba

" Anything." Baba says

" Hey you didn't finish my fortune." The wealthy older woman complains

" Go ahead and finish I'll wait." Midori-ko crossed her arms

" Yes my Lady Midori-ko." Baba nods

Fortuneteller Baba wrapped up the session with the older wealthy woman and rushed Midori-ko into the room

" How much do I owe you?" Midori-ko sits cross legged in front of the crystal ball

" We'll talk numbers after My Lady." Baba says

" Whatever." She rolls her eyes

" What does My Lady wish to know?" Baba asks

" I've been trying to think of a way to articulate this but I've been unsuccessful." Midori-ko tells Baba

" Say what's on your mind." Baba tells her

" I wish to marry Son Goku." Midori-ko says her heart racing

" Son Goku?" Baba asks "Does he know?"

" Yes he knows." Midori-ko scowls

" Forgive me Son Goku is a good boy and he's grown very handsome he's just not very bri...""Not very what?" Midori-ko growls her eyes flashing red

" Nevermind." Baba looks down

" That's what I thought." Midori-ko rolls her eyes "Anyway I want to know if it's possible for me to marry Goku."

" Because of your betrothal to The Dragon Prince?" Baba asks

" Correct." Midori-ko nods

" Let me see My Lady." Baba says looking into her crystal ball

Baba squints at her crystal ball for about five minutes and her eyes widened and fortuneteller Baba gasping

" Well?" Midori-ko asks

"Son Goku will become the greatest warrior in his time and will be celebrated as a hero not only in our universe but several others as well." Baba says still looking into her crystal ball

" Okay."

" Son Goku will save the world three no five times he will climb in strength and just keep breaking barriers until he's even stronger." Baba adds

" Good but what about what I asked?" Midori-ko sighs

"Son Goku will never be able to full fill his destiny if he marries you." Baba looks into Midori-ko's eyes

"What are you saying?" Midori-ko pauses feeling ice cold

"That if you defy everything that's been set forth for you My Lady Midori-ko, Son Goku will be yours but he will not become what I just read." Baba reveals

" But that's... that's Goku's dream." Midori-ko suddenly felt very small "He has to become the greatest warrior I want that for him." She clenched her fists

" I'm sorry My Lady Midori-ko." Baba sighs

" No this what I came here for." Midori-ko stood

" Forgive me." Baba looks down

" How much do I owe you?" Midori-ko opens her purse

" It's on the house." Baba says

Midori-ko's eyes flashed red before she opened her wallet dumped all her money on the floor

" Fucking keep it." Midori-ko snaps
