"Would you guys like a tour?" Prince Daisuke asks Goku and King Kai "It'll take my mom a little bit to make the spinach puffs."
" You don't have to do that your highness." King Kai tells him
" It's no trouble." Prince Daisuke smiles
" Your highness how long has this castle been here?" King Kai asks
" Oh ummm about 5 years maybe my mom had to deal with some snake pretending to be a princess." Prince Daisuke says
" I see." King Kai nods "Goku you're being quiet." He elbows Goku
" Yeah sorry." Goku smiles "Probably just hungry."
" Oh I know me too I could eat an elephant." Prince Daisuke smiles
" I feel you Prince Daisuke." Goku says
" Hey umm how do you know my mom?" Prince Daisuke looks up at Goku before they started the tour
" Yeah Goku?" King Kai crossed his arms
" I ummm it's uhh it's complicated." Goku stammers, he didn't want to say anything that could put Midori-ko in danger
" What does that even mean?" Prince Daisuke furrows his brow
" Yeah Goku what does that even mean?" King Kai asks
" I uhh I don't know how to say it." Goku rubs the back of his neck
" Oookay." Prince Daisuke shrugs before walking ahead of Goku and King Kai
" I still want an explanation." King Kai points at Goku
" King Kai I don't know if I can." Goku sighs
" What do you mean you don't know if you can?" King Kai squints
" Hey you two want to see our pool?" Prince Daisuke asks from down the hall
" You have a pool?" King Kai asks, Prince Daisuke thankfully distracted him.
Goku stood by himself for a moment there was so much to take in.
It has been over a decade since he'd seen Midori-ko.
Every emotion he'd felt with her was coming back and Goku was trying to contain what he was feeling and the only person he wanted to talk to was Midori-ko and Goku couldn't.
" Yeah we have a hot tub too." Prince Daisuke smiles at King Kai
" Oh my." King Kai exclaims
Goku could smell the savory aroma of spinach cheese and turkey burger coming from the kitchen.
Goku let his nose led him to the kitchen.
Slowly pushing open the door to the kitchen Goku could see Midori-ko's back as she was prepping lunch.
Even being The Dragon Empress she could find time to cook for her son.
Goku could smell her from where she stood. Strawberries.
There were so many things he wanted to say to Midori-ko.

Why didn't you just talk to me?
I wish you would have stayed
Is Daisuke mine?
I deserved a better goodbye
Lost in thought Goku didn't notice that Midori-ko had turned around.
" Son Goku?" Midori-ko's voice broke his deep thought
" Huh?" Goku blinks, She was still the most stunning woman he'd ever seen
" Do you need something?" Midori-ko asks wiping her brow
" No your highness." Goku looks down "Actually...umm"
" Yes?" Midori-ko's tone brightened
" Where's the bathroom?" Goku kept his eyes down
" Oh um the first floor bathroom is just down the hall here to your left." Midori-ko tells Goku
" Thanks."he says before exiting the kitchen
Midori-ko clenched her hand to her chest, she hadn't seen Goku in 13 years and here he was in her castle away from The Dragon Palace.
She had chosen this place to raise Daisuke away from his cruel father Emperor Kaname.
Midori-ko should have known at some point this would happen having a home in Earth Realm.
Why did Goku have to look better than the last time she saw him?

That night Goku couldn't sleep, Prince Daisuke had set him, King Kai and Bubbles up in their own rooms.
This was probably the nicest place since Goku visited the Dragon Realm he'd stayed the night in.
" Crap." Goku got out of his bed and headed out into the hallway.
Some fresh air would do him some good.
Just at the end of the hall Goku could see a soft light, something drew Goku to this light.
Goku barely pushed open the door to see a spaciousness room.
At the center was a wall of windows with a view of the clouds around Snake Way.
As Goku entered the room he realized he was in a library.
" Oh wow." Goku looks around
" Hi Goku."
Goku looks over to see Midori-ko sitting on a long sectional holding a book and drinking either tea or coffee. Strangely she was wearing glasses, Goku could have sworn dragon's had perfect sight.
Goku's heart nearly stopped. Midori-ko was in a lavender colored nightgown she had a robe on over it but Midori-ko had grown into her womanly curves. She had the perfect hourglass figure.
And her crimson hair was brushed out, she was just how he remembered but better.
" H-hey." He swallowed
" I don't bite." Midori-ko smirks
" I know that." Goku looks away "Damn it."
" What?"
" I don't know what to say." Goku says
" Why don't you just sit." Midori-ko suggests
Goku did as she asked and sat close to Midori-ko but not too close.
" This place is crazy nice." Goku says
" I designed it myself." Midori-ko nods
" Cool." He nods not looking at her
" Goku." Middle took off her glasses "I know that look."
" What about it?"
" What's on your mind?" Midori-ko asks
"Is Daisuke mine?" Goku leaned on his knees
"What do you think?" Midori-ko sighs
"Damn it Midori-ko." Goku cursed anger building in his belly
"I wasn't able to tell you everything happened so fast." Midori-ko tells Goku
"What am I supposed to say... that would make Daisuke older than Gohan..."Just by a year." Midori-ko answers
"Does he know?" Goku looks up at her
"No... but Daisuke's as smart as they come I'm sure he'll figure it out some day." Midori-ko looks away from him
"Are you going to tell him that he's not Kanames boy?" Goku asks
"Eventually."
"So he's not the rightful heir to the throne?" Goku asks
"Yes he is, Daisuke will make a better ruler than Kaname. My son is kind and empathetic to the common people and he has their love and loyalty already." Midori-ko states
"Oh?"
"Daisuke has your charisma." Midori-ko sat closer to Goku
"Does he?" Goku's chest visibly rised and fell
"Everywhere he goes people fall in love with him there's not a single person that hates Daisuke." Midori-ko tells him
"Wow I'm proud." Goku smiles
"Do you want to be apart..." "Yes yes I do he's my son." Goku nods
"Then if you and King Kai want you may stay as long as you like." Midori-ko touched Goku's shoulder
"Thank you."
In the hall just outside Midori-ko's library Daisuke was listening in on their conversation and runs to his room when he hears the truth
"If only I was as strong as I am now back then I could have we could have been together maybe got married." Goku sighs deeply
"Maybe." Midori-ko bit her lip
"But Chi-Chi...she's a good woman." Goku smiles
"I love Chi-Chi she takes good care of you." Midori-ko smiles
"Yeah I love my wife..." Goku fidgets
"She gave me my son Gohan who I'd die for obviously." Goku smirks
"You've done it twice now." Midori-ko smiles tucking her hair behind her ear
"I'd do it as many times as needed as long as Gohan got to live." Goku smiles to himself
"Hmm I know you would." Midori-ko rubs Goku's shoulder
"Chi-Chi she ... I never thought I'd love again after you." Goku looks into Midori-ko's eyes with his dark chocolate ones
"Don't say that." Midori-ko sighs
"It's true you were it. I loved you so much but when Chi-Chi and I got married she was everything I needed." Goku tells Midori-ko
"I love her for that I couldn't have picked a better person for you." Midori-ko smiles
"I still...if there could have been a way I'd pick you every time." Goku took Midori-ko's hand from his shoulder and held it.
"Goku." Midori-ko breathes
"I'm serious." Goku says
"Yeah."
"You were the only thing I wanted for a very long time." Goku told her, everything he had been holding in was coming out
"I know." Midori-ko looks down
"I would have done anything for you, you know that." He adds
"Goku."
"You broke my heart." Goku tells her
"Jeez salt in the wound." Midori-ko tried to joke
"It's not funny." Goku's tone was flat
" Goku if things were different than I would have..." "For a long time I was convinced you didn't love me as much as I'd loved you." Goku finally says out loud
"I don't blame you Goku." Midori-ko looks down
" But I still love you." Goku touches her cheek
"This is dangerous." Midori-ko pulls away from Goku
"Huh?" Goku blinks
"You're here in my house and somehow you're better looking...it's super annoying." Midori-ko stood up from her sectional
"Oh geez." Goku chuckles
"Why couldn't you get fat and bald or something no you're ripped like a god damn Hercules." Midori-ko paced
"Sorry Saiyan's don't really age." Goku laughs
"It's alright." Midori-ko sighs " Geez I'm a terrible host." She sits down "Do you want some coffee or something?" Midori-ko points to her beverage tray
" Uhh yeah sure." He nods "Coffees fine."
Midori-ko poured Goku some coffee and handed the mug to him clearly shaking.
" You alright?" Goku asks sipping on the coffee
" Yeah." Midori-ko nods "Do you need some creamer or something?" Midori-ko sat up and accidentally made it so the hot mug of coffee went down Goku's front.
" Oh no no no." Goku stood up
" Oh crap." Midori-ko grabs a the tea towel from her beverage tray.
Goku discarded his Gi shirt and Midori-ko quickly patted down where the coffee spilled.
Midori-ko paused realizing she was patting down Goku's perfectly toned chest. And he was watching her do it.
" Damn it Goku." Midori-ko pulls away
"Midori-ko...I...I don't know if I'm going back." Goku lifted her chin making her look up at him
"Back where?" Midori-ko asks
"Earth I'm not planning on going back." Goku says"It's too dangerous for my family and friends if I go back." He adds
"Yeah." Midori-ko nods "Makes sense."
"I don't know..." Midori-ko interrupted Goku by standing on her tippy toes and kissing him
"Goku you don't have to forgive me..." "True but I never stopped loving you." Goku held her face
"Goku."
" I don't care about what happened in the past, let me love you again." Goku pleaded
Midori-ko didn't answer him she took Goku hand and led him up a spiral staircase in her library that had Midori-ko's bed on the second floor.
"You look so beautiful." Goku breathed deeply his hands reaching for the ties of her robe. Goku didn't hesitate to lift the straps of her nightgown off her shoulders.
Midori-ko smiled running her hands over his bare chest, this was how a man was supposed to look.
Goku's lips devoured Midori-ko's like they had so long ago.
The back of Midori-ko's legs bumped against the bed giving slight resistance before she let Goku guide her on to the bed.
He was now laying beside her his hands all over Midori-ko's body. Goku grinded his hips into Midori-ko's side as he slipped the rest of her nightgown off leaving her breasts exposed and venerable to Goku's every whim.
