" Mom is dad okay?" Daisuke walks up to Midori-ko who was sitting on the stairs in the foyer watching Goku as he sat by himself on Snake Way
" I'm not sure." Midori-ko sighs
" What happened?" Daisuke asks
Midori-ko leaned on her hand, Daisuke has started to sound and look like Goku's doppelganger.
" He got news that his widow is ill." Midori-ko sighs " He's definitely worried about her."
" Gohan's mom?"
" Yes sweet heart." Midori-ko says
" Oh." Daisuke says before sitting with Midori-ko on the stairs.
Midori-ko and Daisuke sat watching Goku for sometime.
Daisuke hugged his mom before he stood up.
" I'm going to talk to him."
" No sweetheart." Midori-ko grabs Daisuke's hand " Your dad wants to be alone, he misses his family."
" Mom wake up." Daisuke pulls away "We're his family too." Daisuke says walking outside and towards Goku
" Hey dad." Daisuke stood close behind him "It's getting kinda late."
" I know." Goku doesn't look back at Daisuke
" You okay?" Daisuke asks sitting next to Goku
" I'll be alright." Goku pats Daisuke's back
" Don't lie to me dad." Daisuke tells Goku
" I'm sorry kiddo I don't really know how to put it into words." Goku smiles for his son
" Are you wanting to go back to Earth?" Daisuke asks
" No." Goku shook his head "My family and friends are safer with me dead." Goku tells him
" I mean you're not technically dead you still have your mortal body." Daisuke points out
" Daisuke that doesn't mean I can just return to Earth willy nilly." Goku explains "I left so my loved ones didn't have to live in fear, with me on Earth it seems every bad guy finds their way to me and that puts them in danger." Goku adds
" But mom and me we love you too." Daisuke tells Goku
" Trust me kiddo I know." Goku smiles "I love you guys too."
"Yeah."
" But I love my family on Earth too and I can't forget them." Goku says
" I get it." Daisuke nods
They sat on Snake Way just outside the castle until the night time lamps turned on.
" Dad?" Daisuke looks at Goku
" Yeah?
" Why didn't you just marry mom?" Daisuke asks
" Heh I tried." Goku chuckles softly
" I mean then I'd always have you as a dad and not Emperor Kaname." Daisuke rolls his eyes
" Because your mom was betrothed to Emperor Kaname and I was destined for other things it just didn't work out like we wanted." Goku pats Daisuke's back
" I still don't like it." Daisuke says
" Sometimes life doesn't turn out how we want but that's okay." Goku smiles
" I don't know." Daisuke huffs
" I don't really know either." Goku laughs
" Dad." Daisuke squints
" Huh?"
" You're a bit slow aren't you?" Daisuke sighs
" Don't let your mom hear you say that." Goku smirks whispering
" Yeah yeah." He sighs " I just don't know why we can't just be a big happy family?" Daisuke complains
" Maybe some day." Goku smiles
" So you love both my mom and Gohan's mom?" Daisuke asks
" Yes." Goku nods " They're both very dear to me."
" What's Gohan's mom like?" Daisuke asks
" Chi-Chi?" Goku says "Well she's very ummm I think she cares too much sometimes heh Chi-Chi has a temper on her but it's kinda cute when she gets all mad." Goku stops because Daisuke was just staring
" She sounds nice." Daisuke says
" You may not say that if you get on her bad side." Goku laughs and " Chi-Chi's a good cook too."
" Moms a good cook." Daisuke states
" Yes but Chi-Chi's cooking is something magical." Goku smiles
" You miss her." Daisuke frowns
" I uhh yeah but that doesn't mean I don't love your mom any less it's just Chi-Chi she... she was there for me when nobody else was." Goku looks down
"After your mom and I broke up I was left in pieces and Chi-Chi put those pieces back together for me." Goku explains
" Oh."
" But hey." Goku gets Daisuke to look at him " I don't regret anything that happened with your mom cause I got you." Goku smiles
" Yeah." Daisuke nods " Does Chi-Chi know about mom?"
" Ummm no." Goku looks away
" Why?" Daisuke asks
" You'll get it when you get older." Goku laughs nervously
" I guess." Daisuke rolls his eyes "Dragons are supposed to mate for life so I'm not going to have those problems." Daisuke says
" I don't know about that kiddo." Goku chuckles " Your mom has told me how promiscuous Emperor Kaname is."
" Well that's not how it's supposed to be." Daisuke stood up " When a dragon has intercourse for the first time that's supposed to be the one they love for the rest of their lives." Daisuke states
" What?" Goku's heart beat speeds up
" Yeah that's who you're supposed to make yours traditionally for us dragons but then you've got Emperor Kaname who's never loved anyone." Daisuke explains
" For the rest of their lives." Goku repeats
'Make me yours.' Midori-ko had stared up at Goku
'Oh...are you sure?' Goku swallowed
" Yeah that's what I said." Daisuke snaps Goku back to reality
"Alrighty kiddo let's go back inside." Goku stood with Daisuke "You're getting really tall."
" I guess I have." Daisuke smiles "Grandpa Toga is almost 8 feet tall mom says I'll probably be that tall." Daisuke shares as they walked back to the castle
" Yeah he is." Goku chuckles "How's the old guy doing?"
" You met my grandpa?" Daisuke asks
" A long time ago." Goku smiles
" Wow yeah he's the same he just stays in his dragon form now a days so I don't get to see him as much." Daisuke says as they entered the castle
" Dang." Goku says "Have you been able to change into your dragon form?" Goku asks
" Not since I was a baby." Daisuke shrugs
" Why don't we work on that starting tomorrow." Goku suggests
" Sure." Daisuke smiles
" Hey you two ready for bed?" Midori-ko stood on the stairs
"Yeah we have a big day tomorrow." Goku smiles and walks up to Midori-ko
" You okay?" She asks
" I'm great." Goku hugs her to him

The next morning after breakfast Goku was doing his warm ups as Daisuke was finishing his morning lesson when King Kai walks in.
" Goku."
" Yup." He looks up but keeps stretching
" You asked to know how Chi-Chi's appointment went." King Kai reminds him
" Yeah I did." Goku smiles
" She's perfectly fine but she's expec...""Well well look at what we have here."
Goku froze seeing Emperor Kaname standing in the doorway of the training room.
Emperor Kaname looked exactly the same way he did when they were teenagers with even longer pin straight black hair and sharp features and on top of that Emperor Kaname had grown in height.
Emperor Kaname was dressed in a all black silk kimono making him look intimidating.
The energy coming off Emperor Kaname was almost suffocating.
" Emperor Kaname." King Kai fell to his knees
" I was wondering why my dear wife was always so eager to leave my side." Emperor Kaname strided passed King Kai and towards Goku "It makes so much sense now."
" Kaname." Goku clenched his fists
" Hi Goku." Emperor Kaname licks his lips "You look like a snack."
" What are you doing here?" Goku asks
" I'm here to see my son." Emperor Kaname stood in front of Goku " But when I saw you I got all distracted." Emperor Kaname lifts Goku's chin with a long finger
" Don't touch me." Goku shoves Emperor Kaname's hand away "You can't over power me anymore."
" What?" King Kai whispers
" I wouldn't dream of making you do anything you don't want to Goku." Emperor Kaname bit his lip
" Dad!" Daisuke called from the doorway
" Hello Daisuke." Emperor Kaname turned and smiles at him
" Daisuke get out of here!" Goku yells feeling Emperor Kaname's ill intentions
" What's..."
Before Daisuke could finish what he was saying Emperor Kaname in the blink of an eye had grabbed Daisuke by the neck and began strangling him.
" Stop!" Goku instantly transformed into a Super Saiyan and rams his fist into Emperor Kaname's back making him release his hold of Daisuke's neck allowing Goku to suplex Emperor Kaname away from Daisuke.
" I'm going to make you suffer." Emperor Kaname laughs wiping the blood off his mouth
"Daisuke get your mom and everyone else out of here." Goku orders
" But dad...""Now! Don't make me tell you again!" Goku yells before Emperor Kaname charges at Goku sending him flying across the room which Goku stopped mid air
"Come on King Kai." Daisuke says gathering up King Kai as a battle between Goku and Emperor Kaname started.
