As Goku had asked Chi-Chi, Gohan and Goten joined Midori-ko and Daisuke to the side so they could talk.

" Chi-Chi...I don't know how to explain." Goku bowed his head

" Well start." She points "Because I'm confused about why there's a young man about Gohan's age who looks actually like you and a woman who I don't know but she seems to know me."

" Chi-Chi...""Goku allow me." Midori-ko held up her right hand " I'm better at this sort of thing." Midori-ko says

" You're not wrong." Goku nods, Midori-ko was an Empress for a reason

" Chi-Chi you are clearly Goku's wife there's no denying it." Midori-ko faces her

" No there's not." Chi-Chi states " How do you know my Goku?" She asks

" Goku and I were at Kami's lookout together many years ago." Midori-ko explains " I loved him and he loved me..." " That can't be...""Respectfully I'm not finished." Midori-ko stopped Chi-Chi's interruption

Goku and his son's watched in awe they'd never seen someone control a conversation with Chi-Chi before.

" I have no excuse for what happened." Midori-ko was stone faced " This young man with us is Gohan's and dear Goten's older brother Daisuke." Midori-ko explains

" I I don't know what to say I...""Chi-Chi please I'm not asking you to forgive me and if you ask myself and Daisuke to right now we will leave and never come back." Midori-ko tells her

" Mom." Daisuke steps forward

" Hush." Midori-ko says to Daisuke"This is between me and Chi-Chi."

" Midori-ko." Goku spoke up

" What did I just say?" Midori-ko turns slightly to look at Goku " I owe her the truth and that means she gets to decide what to do with it." Midori-ko says

" I need to sit down." Chi-Chi holds her head sitting on the bench behind her

" Will one of you get her some water please." Midori-ko smiles at Goku and his son's

" On it." Gohan blots

" Yup." Daisuke follows Gohan

" Gohan wait!" Goten goes after them.

Leaving Midori-ko and Goku with Chi-Chi.

" Goku could you please leave us." Chi-Chi requests

" Are you sure?" He asks

" You need to go register for the tournament." Midori-ko tells him

" Yeah you're right." Goku walks away his back rigid. He quickly joined Krillin and the others.

" Chi-Chi." Midori-ko sat with her

" You're more beautiful than I expected." Chi-Chi looks Midori-ko in the eyes

" I...who told you?" Midori-ko asks

" Piccolo." Chi-Chi nods to the reincarnation of the demon king

" He has Kami's memories." Midori-ko sighs "Does Goku know you know?"

"No he's doesn't...I always wondered why Goku was so oh how do I put it...he wasn't shy about his manly needs." Chi-Chi smirks

" Ah no he's not." Midori-ko smiles

" I don't know what you want me to say Midori-ko." Chi-Chi admits" I want to be mad at you I want to scream at you but I can't."

" You can." Midori-ko tells her

" No." Chi-Chi shook her head "I know Goku loves me but no one has held his favor like you did and probably still do." Chi-Chi hugs herself

" Chi-Chi I will not interfere if you tell me you want Goku to return to you." Midori-ko holds Chi-Chi's hand "Daisuke is grown I mean hell he's been without Goku before but you have a small boy...""Goku's a kind gentle and protective father but he's not really been there." Chi-Chi tells Midori-ko

" You don't know how much that destroys Goku." Midori-ko shares

" I do know." Chi-Chi looks down " He puts too much responsibility on his shoulders."

" That's very true." Midori-ko nods

" Ms. Chi-Chi." Daisuke walks up with a glass of water " I brought you some water." He holds out the glass

" Thank you young man." Chi-Chi smiles taking the water

" Gohan and Goten went to go register." Daisuke tells her

" That's alright." Chi-Chi nods " Are you not entering?"

" No ma'am I am not allowed." Daisuke shook his head

" Chi-Chi my son and I are merely spectators in Earth Realm." Midori-ko tells her

" We're not allowed to interfere in Earth Realm but we can watch." Daisuke explains

"I suppose you're right." Chi-Chi says "Sit with me young man." She pats the spot next to her

Daisuke does as Chi-Chi's asks and sits on the opposite side of her.

" You look so much like Goku." Chi-Chi smiles at Daisuke " Your hair is like your mother's it's quite beautiful actually." Chi-Chi tells him

" Thank you." Daisuke nods

" If I understand correctly you and your mother are dragons." Chi-Chi says

" If you can believe it." Daisuke nods

" Trust me I do." Chi-Chi says " What do you do? You're dressed so wonderfully."

" I'm an Emperor." Daisuke tells Chi-Chi and her eyes widen

" I'm sorry?" She blinks

" I'm the Dragon Emperor madam." Daisuke tells her

" Oh my goodness." Chi-Chi holds her face "Midori-ko is it true?" She turns towards her

" Yes Chi-Chi." Midori-ko smiles " My son and I are royalty."

" So so you're richer than Bulma." Chi-Chi sputters

"Money has never been an issue." Midori-ko smirks

"Forget Goku can I marry you?" Chi-Chi asks Midori-ko getting her to laugh

" You're silly." Midori-ko wipes the laughter from her eyes

" I'm serious." Chi-Chi says

Midori-ko and Chi-Chi laugh together. This was going to be a good start to a long friendship.

" There you are." Bulma smiles at Chi-Chi who had Midori-ko with her

"We got a little lost." Chi-Chi says sitting next to her

" I'm sorry we weren't properly introduced I'm Bulma Briefs." Bulma holds out a hand to shake Midori-ko's

" It's nice to meet you Mrs Briefs." Midori-ko shook her hand

" Mrs Briefs is my mom." Bulma laughs "I'm married to that stern faced looking one Vegeta I don't think he has a last name." Bulma says

" We dragons traditionally don't have last names either." Midori-ko blurts

" You're a dragon?" Oolong blinks up at her

" That's correct." Midori-ko smiles

" I knew it." Master Roshi chuckles "Empress Midori-ko of the celestial dragon realm aka the crimson death." Master Roshi says getting everyone to stare at Master Roshi then Midori-ko.

" Crimson Death?" Yamcha asks

" I'm not known as that anymore." Midori-ko sighs " I gave up fighting when I had my son." She sits down next to Chi-Chi

"So you can fight?" Puar asks "Why didn't you enter into the tournament?"

" Dragons are not allowed to participate or interfere in Earth Realm activities we are strictly to observe and protect the universe from other unseen entities." Middle explains

" So have you met Shenron?" Yamcha asks

" No actually." Midori-ko smiles

" Where's your son?" Bulma asks

" He went to spend time with his... Goku." Midori-ko had told Chi-Chi the truth but didn't know how to approach Goku's friends.

" His Goku?" Oolong looks up

" Midori-ko if I may." Chi-Chi smiles "Emperor Daisuke is my honorary son and Empress Midori-ko is my dear friend."

" I'm so lost." Puar says

" I'm not." Master Roshi chuckles "Goku got down and dirty with a sexy dragon lady." Master Roshi laughs

" I'm going to kill you!" Bulma smacks Master Roshi

" Is that true?" Puar asks

" It's not quite like that." Midori-ko sighs " We were young and...""Daisuke is Midori-ko and Goku's son does anyone have a problem with that?" Chi-Chi snaps at the group

" Nope."

" Nah."

" I want details ."

" Roshi."

" I'm not worried."

" Good." Chi-Chi smiles and nods

"Hercule Hercule Hercule." The crowd cheered

" Oh here we go." Yamcha says looking down at the tournament ring

" Chi-Chi would you like something to eat?" Midori-ko asks flagging down the hot dog vender walking around

" If you're buying." Chi-Chi winks

" You bet." Midori-ko smiles
