Midori-ko watched on a enchanted mirror that would let her see whatever she wanted. Midori-ko was nestled in the private dining room she would normally have non formal dinners with Goku and Daisuke.
Things were going to change forever for Midori-ko and her family and she had to come to terms with it.
Midori-ko witnessed Goku fight harder than he ever had to protect Earth from the evil monster Boo.
Goku had said he wanted to leave Earth to the next generation but after seeing what kind of monster Boo was, the next generation wasn't ready for Goku to be absent.
" EVERYBODY !! ALL THE ENERGY YOU CAN!! PLEASE!!"
Goku threw his hands in the air so he could perform a spirit bomb.
He was going to do it.
Goku was going to get rid of Boo.
He was the only one who could accomplish it.
Midori-ko believed in Goku.
She always had.
As much as Midori-ko needed Goku the people of Earth needed him more.
He was their champion.
" Goku!! Your energy we wished for...""YES! I CAN FEEL IT ! THANK YOU DRAGON BALLS!"
" You got this monkey boy." Midori-ko covers her mouth feeling tears welling in her eyes
" You fought hard... all by yourself...I hope you get reincarnated as a good guy... so I can fight you one on one, I'll be training and waiting." Goku wishes before he deals the final blow to Boo. "Till then."
At last Boo is eradicated...
Midori-ko set the enchanted mirror down on the table face down.
Midori-ko walks out of the private dining room to the master bedroom feeling numb.
Midori-ko opened the door to see Goku landing on the balcony.
" What are you doing here?" Midori-ko walked up to him
" Midori-ko we gotta talk." Goku looks down
" There's nothing to talk about." Midori-ko tells Goku
" I had...I'm not dead...""I saw the whole thing Goku." She says
" I...they needed me." Goku keeps his eyes down
"They still need you more than I do." Midori-ko grabs Goku's hands
"Midori-ko... come with me." Goku pleads
"My place is here." She squeezes his hands
" Midori-ko...no."
" Your place is on Earth it always has been." Midori-ko reached up to hold Goku's face
" But what... who's going to hold you close when you can't sleep or who's going to...""You said you wanted to be the one person who gives me a choice." Midori-ko reminds Goku
" Always." Goku's face screw's up
" You have a chance to be with your family take it." Midori-ko smiles
" But you're my family too." Goku says
"Goku, you're more than I could have ever dreamed of." She holds his face"And the past seven years are more than I ever thought I would have with you." Midori-ko tells Goku
" I know." He sighs
" I love you more than anything and I would do anything for you no questions asked." Midori-ko smiles tears building
"Midori-ko...I'm in the palm of your hand I always have been." Goku rests his forehead on hers
" I love you." Midori-ko smiles before kissing Goku one last time
" I love you too." He shook
" Go."
" I... I'll come back as much as I can I promise I'll visit...""Shhh." Midori-ko puts a finger over his lips
And as soon as Goku landed on the balcony he disappeared.
Midori-ko collapsed to the ground in tears she'd held them in until he left.

A month had passed like nothing had happened with Boo.
Goku had settled back into life on Mount Paozu, he spent his days with his two sons and Chi-Chi.
Daisuke had come to visit a few times but to see Gohan. He didn't say much to Goku besides a ' hey dad.'
Goku wanted to ask how Midori-ko was doing but was afraid to ask.
It was just before breakfast one morning as Goku sat in the living room.
" Goku." Chi-Chi called from the kitchen
"Yeah?"
" Would you be a dear and get the mail?" Chi-Chi asks
" On it." Goku calls back
" Thank you baby."
" Yup."
Goku yawned and stretched as he made his way to the mailbox.
It was nice to be back on Mount Paozus but Goku was still getting used to being back on Earth.
Goku grabbed the mail to see grocery store adds and one letter.
He knew instantly what it was.
A letter from Midori-ko but it was addressed to Chi-Chi.
Chi-Chi would be mad but Goku opened the letter...
Chi-Chi,
Thank you for loving Goku.

With the letter was a stack of blank checks.
" Goku? It doesn't take a day and a half to check the mail." Chi-Chi barks walking outside to see Goku on his knees sobbing " Goku?" She walked up.
Goku reached out to Chi-Chi, she went to him in response.
" What's the matter?" Chi-Chi asks
" Just." Goku hands Chi-Chi the letter before holding Chi-Chi to his chest
" Oh my goodness is she serious?" Chi-Chi's mouth drops
" Chi-Chi I'm sorry." Goku clinged to her
" It's okay sweetie." Chi-Chi holds Goku to her " It's okay."

About six months to a year later...
" I know someone who can help." Goku chirps "Against Goku black."
" What?Who?"
" Midori-ko." Goku softly smiles
" Empress Midori-ko?!" Beerus yelps "How do you know the Dragon Empress?"
" Uhh well we kinda dated." Goku rubs the back of his neck chuckling
" Kinda dated?! You don't just kinda date an Empress!" Beerus roars
" Yeah she was my first girlfriend." Goku nods " My first everything." Goku smiles
" Whis I think I'm going to faint." Beerus says
" Relax my Lord." Whis smiles "Goku, do you stay in contact with Empress Midori-ko?" Whis asks
"Ehhh more a less our son Midori-ko's a really busy lady." Goku smiles "That's right Daisuke is both dragon and Saiyan." A light bulb went off for Goku
" YOUR SON?!" Beerus' eyes got as big as saucers
" Yeah and he's super duper duper powerful." Goku smiles and nods
" I bet he is." Vegeta smirks
" I'm not lying." Goku whines
" Uh huh."
" You people commit time travel crimes and you Goku had a baby with a celestial dragon Empress." Beerus shook
" It was before she was the Empress and besides I didn't know till Daisuke was like 13." Goku explains
" Can you contact him for us?" Whis asks
" Oh yeah Daisuke will literally stop whatever he's doing for his old dad, watch." Goku winks before instant transmissioning
" Should we join him?" Vegeta asks Whis
" Why not." Whis nods before transporting himself and Beerus, Vegeta and Piccolo to where Goku went.
Goku had instant transmissioned to The Royal Dragon palace it was just like it had been the last time he was there. Nothing had changed except for maybe the kind of flowers that were planted by the entrance.
Goku walked straight into the palace, the guards and staff knew who he was. So they didn't bother stopping him.
A few greeted him or waved as Whis and company followed behind him.
They entered the throne room since it was the very first room when you arrived at The Royal palace.
To see Emperor Daisuke sitting at a round table next to his throne talking to some of the nobles.
" We'll need to see what the Eastern sector wants to do with the surplus." A noble mentioned
" Yes we shall." Daisuke nods before looking over to see his father standing in the middle of the throne room "Goku!" He jumped up
" Hey kiddo." Goku waves
Daisuke rushed over and stood with Goku, Daisuke was now much taller than Goku. He was almost as tall as his grandfather Grand Duke Toga.
" How's the weather up there?" Goku smirks
" Haha." Daisuke smirks "Goku it's so good to see you I mean...dad." Daisuke whispered 'dad'
" It's good to see you too." Goku reached up and pats his shoulder
" My excellency is this a good time for you to have a social gathering?" One of the nobles stood up at the table
" I don't remember asking your permission." Daisuke turned and glared at the noble
" H-he looks just like...""Yes he does." Whis nods interrupting Vegeta taking the hint that only a select few knew Goku was the true father of Emperor Daisuke.
" It's clear who his shire is." Piccolo smirks
" Are these your friends?" Daisuke asks looking behind Goku to see Whis, Beerus, Vegeta and Piccolo
" Oh yeah these are my friends." Goku motions to them before he and Daisuke walked over. "You remember Vegeta and Piccolo from the tournament."
" Greetings I'm Emperor Daisuke the royal family welcomes you to dragon realm." Daisuke smiles
" Your highness." Whis bows slightly "I am Whis and this is the god of destruction Lord Beerus." Whis introduces them
" I am honored to have such important men in my palace." Daisuke smiles and nods to them "Da...Goku you've made some really powerful friends." He chuckles
" You're telling me." Goku laughs"Hey ummm how's your mom?"
" Mom?" Daisuke pauses
" Yeah I should probably go see her while I'm here." Goku rubs the back of his neck
" Excuse me gentleman." Daisuke smiles to Goku's friends before pulling Goku to the side "Dad." He whispered
" What's wrong?" Goku asks
" You're not going to be able to visit her." Daisuke looks down
" What's going on is Midori-ko okay?" Goku asks his heart beat speeding up
" Mom passed away a few weeks ago." Daisuke keeps his eyes down
" What?" Goku could have sworn he heard glass breaking "You're joking."
"No dad...she ummm the doctors said it was heart break." Daisuke tells him
" No." Goku clenched his fists" Why didn't you tell me?"
" I haven't had time off work you know being Emperor and all." Daisuke rubs his forehead
" Midori-ko." Goku looks down thinking about how things used to be
" She told me to tell you that you were the love of her life." Daisuke blinked as a few tears escaped his eyes
Goku shook he couldn't contain his rage and sarrow.
So much that he instant transmissioned himself to a place where no one was and let out the loudest scream he'd ever uttered.
Collapsing the ground around him
" Goku." Piccolo appears behind him reaching for Goku's shoulder
" Don't touch me." He turned almost knocking over Piccolo with his energy Tears streaming down his face
" Goku you need to calm down." Piccolo tells him approaching holding out his hands, Goku rage was turning the area around him into a thunder and lighting storm.
" Get away from me." Goku hisses as his energy started to build as the tears flowed from him.
" Goku...""NOW PICCOLO!!!" Goku raged this time he did knock him over with just raw power.
" Mr Popo will be saddened by this news." Piccolo stood before returning to The Royal Dragon palace.
Goku let out another deafening scream as his energy built and destroyed things around him.
It was snuffed by Goku's rage turning to agony he fell to his knees hunched over weeping, if he could have done something for Midori-ko anything.
There was a part of Goku that would always love her, he wouldn't change anything that happened between them but if he could have ended up with Midori-ko, Goku would have done whatever it took.

"Your palace is beautiful your excellency." Whis tells Daisuke as he gave them a tour as they waited for Goku to return
" Please just call me Daisuke anyone who's a friend of my da...Goku is a friend of mine." Daisuke smiles
" So you're in charge of all of this?" Vegeta asks
" That's correct." Daisuke smiles at Vegeta "If I'm not mistaken Goku said you're a prince?"
" The Prince of all Saiyan's." Vegeta proudly says
" You should consider yourself a King." Daisuke states "Your father has passed correct?"
" Your point?" Vegeta asks
" You seem more like a King that's all." Daisuke smiles "Would you gentlemen like to some lunch?"
" I like this kid." Vegeta smirks
" We'd like that very much." Beerus nods
"This way." Daisuke smiles
As soon as they were all settled in Emperor Daisukes private dining room Goku appeared in the room.
" Dad!" Daisuke stood seeing a look on Goku's face he'd never seen before
Beerus nearly spit out his food
" Young man I thought it was a secret?" Beerus asks
" No disrespect Lord Beerus sir but I don't care right now." Daisuke doesn't look away from his father
" I should destroy him." Beerus says to Whis
" Good luck my Lord the celestial dragons are known to have power far greater than any god." Whis smirks to himself
" Can I see where she was put to rest?" Goku asks
" Yeah sure." Daisuke nods
