俺は帝国陸軍航空隊草野空曹である!皇軍の名の下にただちに釈放を要求する!!
Look buddy. I need you to speak reminitian, not that gibberish-
西洋人か貴様!何を言っておるのかまるで分からんぞ!
HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU TO SPEAK REMINITIAN?
"..." "..."
As the detective rages against the alien, Ozpin and Glynda stand behind a thick piece of one-way glass, where they could see the alleged "Alien" being questioned and answering in gibberish.
"How strange..." Ozpin said, puzzled that the supposed "alien" seemed human by accounts.
"What is "strange", headmaster?" Glynda quickly replies, desperately looking for something to distract her from the questioning session that was entering the fourth hour of existance.
Ozpin looks around a bit and continues.
"... I feel no magic nor soul emanating from this alien. Not even a smidge of it"
"That is impossible, headmaster. Everyone has to have a soul to live if they are not a grimm. It must be a mistake of some sorts."
"Likely. At the same time, I rarely make mistakes. Even more so on the topic at hand"
Suddenly, a scientist walked into the observation hall, looking confusingly at the document he carried in his hands.
"Mr. Ozpin, we have some interesting news from the research department"
"What is it?"
"These… aliens. They can't activate their aura. We tried all the ways known to remnant on the other, but nothing even seems to give a hint of activating it. It is. as if they were... soulless"
(hm... guess I was correct)
"... That's a major discovery, I want your team to-" *bzz* *bzz*
Ozpin's scroll begins to ring.
Picking it up, he answers the scroll.
"Yes? ... What? All right. We'll be there right away!"
As he hangs up, he immediately leaves the room and boards the elevator to the surface, Glynda following him closely.
"Headmaster, what was the-"
"No time to explain! We have to go!"

Through the calm seas near the port city of Vale, The first fleet of the IJN strides through the waves.
Spearheaded by the elderly yet beloved, IJN "Nagato", The impressive yet archaic fleet consisting mainly of battleships moves into the port of Vale in a perfect circular formation, staring down all who dared to stand in its path with its fourteen-inch guns.
ーーー
From the bridge of the "Nagato", the recently relocated admiral Nagumo found himself amazed by the futuristic city.
(How were those planes flying? How was the city kept in such a pristine condition? What was that castle which spired into the air so high?)
Questions Hit him like a hurricane
While the vice-admiral tried to make sense of it all, The captain of the IJN "Nagato" approached him from behind, his face bent in concern.
"Admiral Nagumo. The city is raising some kind of aircraft. Shall we order the Kido-butai to raise the fighters?"
"No captain. We are here on a diplomatic mission. Not to begin a war. Do not show any sign of hostility
"Understood sir. Orders from the Admiral. Do not raise fighters"
The captain of the Nagato says over the communications, prompting many replies to come back, all confirming his orders.
"Additionally, the IJA is requesting to land with the diplomats' sir. What shall we say?"
"Tell them that they can send one officer. They are the ones who asked for our help, and we are the ones who are graciously offering them help, mobilizing our precious capital ships. We get to be the ones who get credit for the first contact with this city. Not them"
"Yes sir"
Admiral Nagumo turns his heel, coming up to a table where a rugged, unclear map rested. Sighing, he begins to speak.
"... Australia, India and the Soviet Union. All of them, already confirmed to have vanished. The army is stretched thin like never-before in our history and faces resistance globally, while we, the navy, lost contact with many of our submarines and even some of our surface ships. We do not have the allies to fight right now. Yet, we cannot afford another war on our hands now, even more so against this city.
"Yet, sir. Our men were attacked by the city"
"Captain. The empire now controls the entirety of Asia with all men to enforce its rule, a meter underground. We have gained so much land in such a short time, there is only so much we can hold with only a strong fist of steel. If we wish for the emperor to stay in power for another thousand years, We must be ready to persuade, negotiate... and forgive some mishaps"
"I- understood, sir"
The captain goes silent. Nagumo ignores him and heads to the very front of the bridge.
"Now, we introduce ourselves and the empire. Ready the guns. Load blank munitions"
"Are you sure about this, sir? The city has not responded to our calls-"
"Why yes, I am sure. After all, this is more than just a formality..."

In the morning sun, IJN "Nagato" and IJN "Mutsu" sat proudly before the docks of Vale.
A gathering of people had formed at the docks, many with their scrolls out recording the imposing ships. Some even seemed to be streaming it.
"-Excuse me!"
From the wall of people 4 figures break through, only stopping at the edge of the docks.
Ruby looks onto the ships with flustered eyes.
"Y-Yang! Lookatthesizeofthoseguns!Ohmygod, they'resobigThere'ssomany-"
"Get to your senses, Sis! We got'ta make sure they don't fire at the-"
"And how do you expect us to do that?! That's an entire armada of ships there! We're just a team of huntresses" "-Hey! you're in the way, kids! Out of the way!"
"Wait… are those ships moving their guns?"
Someone in the crowd said with concern in his voice, and when people checked themselves, they saw the massive guns on the ships shifting their barrels quickly towards them.
"S-shit! Everyone, scatter!"
Yang warns the crowd, who begins to flee in a disorganised manner.
However, it was too late.
All the guns came to a halt, and after a second of pure, deathly silence-
*DUDUDU-DOUM!*
They released a salvo with an ear-piercing sound, letting white-smoke fill the air. It sounded nothing like dust rounds.
Everyone braced for impact, awaiting the coming annihilation…
Yet it never came.
After 30 long seconds, people begin to stand up. Utterly confused.
"What in oum's name…"
Team RWBY stands up, dusting themselves off.
"Did they.. miss?"
"... Nope. Sure didn't hear a second explosion"
"Then were those blanks- "Hey, Uhh guys!? I see some boats coming to over!"
Blake shouted with concern and the entire team went back to the docks. Sure enough, there were three small boats quickly heading ashore. Even from this distance they could see many little figures in the small boats getting bigger.
"Ehm… should we get headmaster Ozpin?"
"No shit. Get him on the scroll now"
After a few long, drawn-out minutes, two figures arrive at the scene.
"I'm here. What's the situation?"
Ozpin says, readjusting his glasses while glaring at the war-ships on the horizon.
"Thank oum you're here, Headmaster Ozpin. They're just about to land"
"I'll go greet these "visitors". Team RWBY, stay close to me. You'll be my bodyguards. But, if anything happens, flee and get the other teams"
"Like hell we would. I wanna beat these assholes right fucking now!"
Yang said while crushing here gauntlets together, while team RWBY follows Ozpin and Glynda towards the end of the docks.
As the boats slow down, they dock at the side of the piers. A well-dressed old man in a pure white uniform disembarks before anyone, looking all around himself like a fish out of water. Following him were two tan uniformed guards who were armed with crude looking bolt-action-rifles made out of wood and metal, silently following the old man in an almost robotic obedient way despite clearly being flesh and bone, creeping out some members of the student team.
They seemed rather normal for what you would expect from a military. Ozpin however, couldn't feel any magic radiating from any of the men just like the alien from before.
It was clear to him, at least, that these people were the supposed 'alien's' brethren, here to collect.
Ozpin stops just before the old man, upon where the old man extends his hand while introducing himself.
"Greetings. I am vice-admiral Tadamichi Nagumo of the Imperial Japanese Navy. We have visited your city today in hopes of opening diplomatic relations between the Empire of Japan… and this city"
