"Something's on your mind, though, Kagome," stated Kankuro as he carefully dipped the ends of his Puppet's needles into an odorless poison.
"What makes you say that," Kagome asked lightheartedly. The forced smile twisted her face, and Kankuro paused in his work in mild fascination. He had never seen such an ugly expression on Kagome's honest face.
"Kagome, you've been following my siblings and me around like a lost puppy," Kankuro answered high handedly, it would take a dead man not to notice the way she was clinging to them.
"You leave in three days," she whispered.
"Yeah? So what?"
